2 premier guitar players who are at the top of their game! Not only the fact that they can play acoustic guitars like that is just ridiculous, but that they can play together and feed off each without any kind of rehearsal is truly insane. Billy's playing is unbelievably clean
Billy was amazing here... Near the end, Tommy rushed up the tempo during his solo... and Billy crescendoed and stay right in the pocket.. then Tommy soloed and kept the timing the same for him. Billy even picked up on the smoke on the water part.... He is great at playing with other people... what an ear! What great timing!
Love seeing how Tommy helps put over artists like Chet did for him. I'm sure Billy will do it for others one day. Quite selfless and lovely to see and hear

Очень круто. Но разве скорость заукоизвлечения единственный параметр? Часто не сыграть ноту лучше чем сыграть пять нот. Би Би Кинг и Эрик Клэптон тому подтверждение. Не в укор этим музыкантам будет сказано. Они красавцы однозначно! Все таки у кантри и у блюза разные стандарты. Каждые хороши в своём стиле.
It's really fantastic to see these two guys just havin' fun with the guitars talking to eachother and just the way they really feel it on that stage. - even though Tommy is 37 years older than Billy doesn't matter. They are both insanely good and passionated on their instrument. So enjoyable to see this awesome perfomance. - It really makes you happy seing this video!!
The clarity of Billy Strings and the way Tommy enhanced and not diminished his talent is a testament to the love of the music that Tommy has. Well done Billy Strings I love your free uninhibited flowing style.

There’s so much genius going on here…the banter/exchange, the challenge of the old dude to the punk kid, but in the best way. Tommy tries to toy with him a bit, and Billy retorts let’s just play and have fun. Keep up!
Tommy is a good man. He is always introducing young musicians to the world. So generous. And I mean besides being probably one of the best guitar players ever. This what I call Music.
Simply incredible. Two musicians that have mastered the guitar picking so well , meeting up and playing with each other and not trying to out do the other. Just so grateful and blessed that both talents came along in my lifetime.

Fantastic. It's so nurturing of TE to let the young guy shine and make great music together instead of trying to blow him away. It shows what kind of a person TE is. Nobody enjoys playing guitar more than him.
@Zerfie1 I’ve been playing for 30 years plus. There is no question who DADDY is. Billy String is unbelievable but TE just isn’t human. There s no better or even as good in the guitar world
It’s worth noting that flat picking is Billy’s wheelhouse where Tommy does it all but really shines with his finger style arrangements. This was fantastic!
Absolutely delightful. Fierce compassion for the strings their picking. Deep compassion. I may not ever get that good, but they give you hope? Hehe! What a delight to hear these two together. Thank you both.
Wow! Billy's finger/fret work is so astonishingly clean at that high speed. He's so often striking the board from so high to get that amazing stacatto sound. Well, Imma try to do whatever I do today with the same zeal Billy plays guitar!

Billy asks Tommy: "What are we gonna play?" Billy's guitar wasn't even tuned. That shows us there was no preparation for this. And then he rips into inprov. with one of the greatest guitarists on the planet. What a prodigious talent.
