Drew, retired museum curator here. Consider a Fine Arts insurance policy on these valuable lighting fixtures. My museums worked with the Huntington Block agency with Cigna coverage. A fine arts agency is much more knowledgeable and aware of the issues that properly insuring objects like these entail than a standard homeowners insurance underwriter with scheduled items of particular value. Insurance is not just about premiums, but also about service.
@Dagney Taggart Right?? Sometimes I watch home renovation shows and just shudder to think the precious things that have just been carelessly discarded; not just removed, but, destroyed and/or pitched. Replacing items is one thing, but, *someone* will always treasure anything well made from a different era! Nostalgia is powerful!
Who the heck was the original owner of this house??? They collected such an amazing display of light fixtures and obviously put a lot of effort into searching out each one in particular! So glad they landed in the hands of someone who took the time to research not just their dollar value but their historical worth as well... Congratulations, Drew!
I am just shocked that through all the years with so many decor styles that these fixtures were left alone and never replaced. Curious as to how many owners have lived in the home.
@Kristina B oh they sure did the right thing by leaving those light fixtures. I couldn't imagine them anywhere else but I'd like to speak with the previous owners just to find out about the house, what history they've come to know.
I bet the owner was a European transplant or lover of European style and they lived in this house all their lives and then it transferred to a child. I've visited some elderly people (part of my job in Aged Care) who live in houses that haven't been updated since the 20s to 50s and many times it's an unmarried daughter or son who lived with their parents, looked after them when they aged, and inherited the house. Most of them don't feel the need or desire to remodel as it's comfortable to them, or feel it's an insult to the parents.
@Joyce Dominguez I like the previous owners without even knowing them. They understood that the light fixtures belonged with the house and kept it intact without separating everything for extra $.
You were meant to have this home because you surely know how to appreciate and care for things that are rare or antique. Congratulations again on your new home! So excited to see your own transformation on this gorgeous house!
can't stop wondering how interesting it would be to talk to the owner who bought all those beautiful lights! also curious about the original decoration, the design was probably just as fancy and mesmerizing edit: guys I know this person is probably in other planes of existence, but still 💀 the point remains
@Gems of Hope In my country , if its removable, it´s going to be removed by the owner unless you specifically ask for them and are negotiated with the house. It´s considered equal to an apliance.
The light fixtures are FIXTURES and are sold with the house unless specifically written out of the deal. You can unplug from power but, if you have to use a tool to remove something then you are stealing from your buyer.
Drew, you should contact the historical society to see if there are any pictures of the home in its original glory or any history on the original owner. It would be so interesting to learn more and I think all the Lone Fox family would love it.
@Jennifer Campbell An important aspect to consider before having a house added to an historical registry is that this is a contract to follow certain guidelines when it comes to restoring/adding/removing parts of the house...even certain color schemes must be followed...the owner no longer has the freedom to redesign interior/exterior to fit any creative ideas that don't correlate with the original time period when the house was constructed & used. Some folks enjoy this chance because a lot of assistance comes into play with restorations...other folks become aggravated because their ideas for their home doesn't follow guidelines...I know a couple who sold their registered home because so much of it was controlled by the historical society.
@Curtis Childress ... Same exact thoughts I had while immersing myself in this historical home, carefully watching & listening to Drew & Dr. Lori. Cheers!
It would be wonderful if you could do a video investigating more of the history of the home! Who built it and who lived here before you. It’s so fascinating the lives these spaces had before us!
Shout out to previous owners, who left everything intact. How cool! Drew, do you know how many previous owners there were? I'd be interested in knowing how many times this house changed hands.
I can’t really put into words how much I love this video. It’s the perfect blend of intense knowledge, aesthetic (even though I hate the word) and a deep appreciation of art and craftsmanship. The collab we never knew we needed until the moment it popped up. There is a saying that every country deserves its leader and in this case it translates into this house deserves you as its owner. Whatever you’ll do with this property, it will be magical and deserving of its origins.
I love this and her expertise. I also love that you’re really taking the time to educate yourself on the history, features, style and architecture of the house.
This video brings me so much joy because DREW!!! The universe put you on the path to this house and you are just brilliantly happy and beaming. Love this for you💛
SO GLAD you got ahold of Dr. Lori before you yanked any of those fixtures out! (I had an uneasy feeling that you didn't really realize what you had in some of them, but many were even higher than I imagined!!) Jeeze....add them all together and they're worth more than what I paid for my last house!!!) Dr. Lori's good, really knows her stuff. My advice to you would be kinda like that line out of The Godfather....(Remember? "Leave the gun....take the cannoli!") ...only here it would be don't stress about the bathroom tiles, because there's a lot of that in your area that's been reclaimed and is available. Those light fixtures are apparently original to the house and we're curated by someone with a very knowledgeable eye (and a fairly large pocketbook, I'd guess!) It might be interesting to dig into the ownership history of your new house. Maybe it once DID belong to a movie star who traveled a lot.....!(?)
Loooooved the history art class here! Please please pleeeeeaaaaase I want to have more of these! There has to be more to learn from the beauty of your new home. I also LOVE that it's your house Drew, it's like you deserve to live there and enjoy the art within ♥️
The house got to the right person 🥰. Amazing how the value of the house is increased but also the art is more than just its value in money. I hope that Drew is able to keep those original details while being creative. ❤
Drew’s channel is next level. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this done in the form of a collaboration done like this on youtube. I feel like i’m watching a television series even though we don’t watch tv anymore lol. Just amazing content.
@CDR Oh yes!! You’ve named two more fantastic videos, both are in my top 10 favs. The bookcase was spectacular, one of the best ikea hacks ive seen on youtube. He completely transformed that billy bookcase. I was truly impressed.
@CDR Well, it'd nice to know that if you're in financial trouble all you have to do is auction off all your light fittings whether you liked them or not. 😊
@Davida Rose He really, really is so genuinely connected to his work and his clients. I do remember the young lady in the wheelchair show. It was fantastic. The show with his landlord was incredible too - I’ll never forget the happiness on the landlord’s face, and how lovingly Drew ushered him around on a rolling chair, so the landlord didn’t have to get up. My Drew “turning point” moment came when he was in a “bookcase” design contest with other designers. Drew used bendable wood slats - incredible results. I commented the design should be mass produced. And the next thing I know - I’m seeing it in mass production!!! IKEA, etc I think Drew’s next step is HGTV or better. You and I will be able to say - “I knew him when.. !!!” Nice talking, have a great day.
@CDR So true I would have to agree, he’a for sure a rare gem. It’s like he’s out best buddy. Personality & Talent is a win win & he’s kind and truly cares about others. Remember the makeover he did for the young lady in the wheelchair, that was on of my favs. One of my family members where paralyzed at 21 years old so I just loved the thought and care he put into the design keeping in mind that she needs room to get around everything in her chair. That was such a lovey episode to watch.
Okay y’all collabing on this was epic y’all’s personalities mesh so well! And also my jaw dropped so many times learning about these light fixtures ! what a treat for you in your new home having all that history is so cool
This was amazing! To have all these intact fixtures in your new home is such a bonus to the beauty of the home itself. That and all the other original features. Drew, what a wonderful home! Congratulations!
Drew, this house is a treasure that was meant for you to bring back to its formal glory! What I would love to see is that you design each space around these lamps! Is an investment that will bring value and is something you have been given to protect and cherish!
Wow Drew is 6ft, would never guess that...but anyway I love how his passion for his work shines through and he makes things come alive with his eyes and voice!
Your guest was a great find in herself! She makes a topic that would normally be kind of dry very interesting. I'll definitely follow her as well. Congrats on discovering the value of those pieces. Even if they aren't all to your taste, what a cool surprise. It adds to the interest of the home itself, just wondering who the person was who collected all those pieces, their travels to do so, etc.
These light fixtures are GORGEOUS! I also love the Murano glass fixture. So delicate and intricate for such a heavy piece. And the Gothic Revival amber globe piece. Wow! Stunning pieces! Congratulations!
You are so lucky to have found that house w/ all these fixtures intact. They are are beautiful & amazing. Thank you for taking me along - I’m so excited about the renovation & w/ you will be doing❣️
We all loved the vintage lights from our first view. So exciting to see the appraisal...they're works of art. Wonder if you could find old photos of the house back in the day, and maybe old family photos? That would be so interesting. Dig into house history for all of us!!! 😍
The small French chandelier is my fave! The Bell Flower swag detail has been a part of interior design since the mid 1700. This detail was designed and introduced by Scottish architect and interior and furniture designer, Robert Adam. In addition to lighting, Bell Flower detail is found in plasterwork and furniture inlay.
Dr. Lori is so kind and eager to share her incredible knowledge-I love how graciously she went above and beyond to share her passions. Her pointing out the scrollwork on the beams absolutely endeared her to me. 🥰
@Dr. Lori My beloved late partner & I watched you on his channel...you & your wonderfully terrific fun show taught us so much...you showed the world (and still do) an endless vatiety of items providing estimates & information...you are forthright & sincere & can make time pass like magic...you're an internet gift to the world. Keep on keeping on!
ALL the lights are so beautiful! I know they aren't the worth a ton ( except the last one) but the history and the artistry are so unique. It's so amazing that they are STILL in the house.
I'm so very amazed that through the years that all of those gorgeous light fixtures were left intact, usually as new people move into a new place, they start removing everything new, getting rid of the old antiques! This house is overflowing with beauty! 👍🏼❤
WOW!!! Drew, you better get good, detailed photos of every single one of these and print them out and keep them in a safe place (safety deposit box) and then increase your home insurance to cover them all! Great video!
A retired museum curator in one of the comments suggested having a fine arts museum insure them because they’ll understand the value more than a typical insurance company. Such a good idea!
I'm so pleased you featured Dr. Lori. She is a treasure and should be discovered by more people. Also, I was kind of hoping you would flash the grand total of the all the fixtures' worth at the end! But, thanks for doing this video. It was fascinating and I enjoyed getting to really see each piece while Dr. Lori talked about them.
@Furkan My brother and sister-in-law were not wanting to change anything structurally, or the integrity of the home. They just simply did not want it to look like a painted lady. That was all.
@Furkan Yes, it is. If he proceeds that way. Hope so. Rare for these old houses to last this long in such great shape and care. If so, maybe there is funding to help out with the preservation, restoration, if the case may be.
Loved this video! Big question: what do you do if you don’t like the light fixtures? Totally understand respecting the history and value of each piece but it’s your space and shouldn’t you be free to reflect your own personal taste? The current fixtures are pretty bold, would be interested in seeing how you style the murano ones!
I think that's an issue in a lot of restorations. I would want to maintain the integrity but not live with something I didn't love. I think removing things like fixtures and tiles, built ins etc and making them available to others is a great thing. Then find things that are period appropriate AND fit your tastes. Win...win.
It would be great if you could put together a video with drone travelling through the house at night time so we can see all the lamps on ❤ Love you videos, you've inspired me!
I have never been a fan of antique sconces, but hearing this expert describe them, they really come alive and it makes me appreciate their beauty. Now, the two italian pendants with Murano glass. WOW. WOW. WOW. I visited Venice about 25 years ago and going to Murano was my favorite stop. Drew, if you can visit one day, make your way there to appreciate the craftmanship and what it takes to create that glass using techniques that have been passed down for centuries. You are so lucky to have these in your home. To me those are the two show-stoppers. I must have gone back to those sections of the video 3 to 4 times just to enjoy looking at them over and over. Congratulations on your new home and on acquiring these masterpieces!
I agree - I thought they were terrible at first bc they aren’t my taste at first glance - but then when you take the time to take a look, they look much better!! And at least I think he will find homes that will appreciate what he doesn’t keep.
Your home is absolutely stunning. I am in love with it. And I love to watch Dr Lori. She knows everything! What a delightful video. I’m so happy that YOU are in possession of this gem of a home.
I wish we could see how the house was originally decorated. Based on these fixtures, mostly imported, I imagine the original owners had some very bougie taste.
@Lone Fox Check with the County Land office. They more than likely will have to original deed on file. Then head to the library and look up newspaper clippings in the Society Pages. I'd lay odds that you'll find it was one of the show homes of the 30's with pictures!
@John Vonundzu I agree however many times the style was to have a small table, usually round, under the chandelier. you weren't meant to walk under them. I do find it odd that the Murano glass grape chandelier would be so close to the scene. anyway I suspect you are right about a collector being involved. been there done that too.
I'm thinking most of the fixtures arrived much later than when the house was new. Some of chandeliers hang way too low / seem designed for higher ceilings. Reaching up and touching a chandelier, or banging your head on one - I don't think that would happen back then. And I can't believe that the Murano grapes chandelier would have originally hung so very close to the sconces - this looks like the result of a collector running out of space (been there, done that!).
I am not going to lie but the last light fixture is probably the most beautiful chandelier i have ever seen in my life. I literally gasped when I saw it the first second like how can something be soo pretty, i knew it had to be the most valuable. I know nothing about interior deco, lights or history but man I am so happy for you Drew that you have found such a match for yourself. This house radiates Drew and I can't wait to see how you embrace everything about this space ♥️
Drew, your lights are so beautiful! You bought such a treasure when you purchased that home. What a surprise to find your lights had such value. And the variety of styles!
The French chandelier in the final appraisal is my favourite. The previous one with the grapes is so unique. I am curious to know if there is a specialist service that comes out to properly clean and polish these kinds of light fixtures in the right way. I would not risk sending them out to be cleaned.
Don’t feel the pressure to keep any you don’t feel 100% attached to! It’s your house make it yours :) if you sell them for that kind of money hello, the person who purchases it will more than likely take care and appreciate them! Take care of you Drew. Try to remember we can’t please everyone it’s your very first home and your very own and don’t feel guilty about it if you don’t absolutely love it 😍
If you remove those items you change the character of the house. The house in it‘s whole is an antique, rip of the tiles, woodwork, original flooring, lights the house will loose much of the value, more as selling single parts one by one. Here it would be forbidden and put under the historic preservation regulation because the house represents a time period perfectly. If you don‘t like Art Deco, go buy a house from another time period. I look at this house and my heart bleeds. I am really afraid of the changes it will experience by thoughtless home owners.
I agree. I personally don't like most of them and they also hang really low and intrusively into the room. If they were mine I would sell most of them and use the money to renovate the house to my own taste.
Oh, this was such a fun video! Someone really cared for this home to keep original details. I definitely want to check out Dr. Laurie 's channel now, too.
as you were walking thru the house tour in the first video you commented about all the beautiful light fixtures the house had. I was shocked at just HOW beautiful they were. I knew they were worth some money!
I wonder how much information is available on the original owners of the house. It's so incredibly beautiful and I'm super happy for you!!!!! Thanks so much for taking us along on your adventure 😊
@rneustel True I’ve been to a lot of rug auctions. Blows me away what people pay for a totally worn out Persian hand-knotted rug. They should be appraised.
This is completely fascinating, wow 🤯 my mind is blown. Congratulations on your new house and thank you for sharing all of this unique and interesting content that’s coming along with it!
Drew, your new home is a mecca of artistic history. I was afraid that you were going to replace these beautiful light fixtures with something else. With your decorating sense, embrace these beautiful fixtures and make each room revolve around them. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with in your future videos. This video was very educational for those of us who love antiques, art, and history.
@rneustel I was, too! He has a beautiful house and it would have been heartbreaking to see those fixtures go. He did the right thing by getting them appraised.
I can't see him selling these light fixtures. Maybe 1 or 2. Most likely he'll switch them out to different rooms, keep any that don't fit with his vision for the space in some storage room like he had at his apartment
I loved this episode so much. The detailed explanation hit my architectural/artistic side so hard. Dr Lori was so much fun and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!
This was awesome! Makes me sad to think that a lot of people are probably throwing away vintage lamps to replace with modern ones. Im sure that happens a lot
my fav is definitely the green one, i love the stained glass and weird design, also i’m european so when i first saw the house tour i knew those lights were EXPENSIVE
Oh, Drew!!! That appraisal was perfect. Thank you so much for doing that. The appraisal amount was impressive, but the history of the art is the most beautiful thing. I’m so glad you are the steward of these pieces. Your utter delight shines through. Warms my heart.
Bravo, Drew, for getting these appraised and educating yourself on history, art periods, value, etc.! My worry has been you might throw precious babes out with the bathwater or just go nuts on cutting up period woodwork. I love that you are falling even deeper in love with your beautiful new home just be learning it's history and listening to it's whispers to you! Modernization is a delicate balance with preservation. You were blessed with an historic gem of a home...and have now become it's steward! Congratulations, Drew! 🙏🌐💞👑
I feel the same way as previous comments.. your love of beauty and very creative mind has rewarded you as a guardian of extraordinary beautiful antiques. Treat them well ❤️dear precious Drew. And many thanks for sharing and looking deeper into the history.
What absolutely gorgeous fixtures! I am so happy for you Drew! Congratulations on your new home. A dream come true. It will be fun watching you renovate it.
Oh Drew!! Thank you, thank you for doing this video!! I loved Dr.Laurie and I’m so pleased for you to know the value of your lighting! On your first home tour I was mesmerized by the lighting and so hopeful you would keep at least some of them. Imagine how many earthquakes they lived through (or should we say, swung through)! What a treasure for you to cherish!
This video was amazing! When you did the house tour I thought some light fixtures beautiful but I thought a few were almost ugly. HOWEVER, after getting a more up close look and learning their history from Dr. Lori I find them all amazing! The craftsmanship is irreplaceable. The fixture with the green glass, stunning!
Drew you have such a unique and absolutely fabulous home. With all those fine antiques you were selected to be the keeper of history when you bought the house. Those lights are unique and a lot of them can’t be replicated anymore because people no longer have the skills. Please tell us you are keeping them and designing your home with them in mind. Even if you don’t like the light where it is , with your skills I bet you can make them look great elsewhere. I watched Tommy Hillfiger’s home on AD and his home has nothing on yours except a lot of it was redone in white. It could have been any other white home. He kept the columns but painted everything white. He stripped the character out of it. Yours is much prettier!
I hope you keep them all as well as design with them incorporated in a way that will expand their beauty into the surroundings for example the murano glass pieces and the navy from the chandelier used throughout the space. What an amazing appraisal, definitely include that in the insurance right now while construction is carrying on in case something happens!
He'll get rid of them. Boo hoo. I like all of them
You better read these experts worth alot.
@Frances Cox I totally agree these might be worth more to a museum I feel a little could be worth more.

Exactly my thoughts. Design around these lamps.....
@Tangofoxtrot I don't know what kind of decoration you are thinking about! But is not a theme park what I am talking about.
Oh no not around the lamps. It’s gonna look like a theme motel. Theyre just lamps so let them be accents only
I'm experiencing happy chills watching this video. Every light fixture took me back to a place in time. Each one telling a story.

Even if they aren't all to your taste, what a cool surprise. It adds to the interest of the home itself, just wondering who the person was who collected all those pieces, their travels to do so, etc.
@vaderladyl , thanks!
@Ridge Walker Search KZclip by "Dr. Lori". That is the name of her YT channel.
What is her site name?
Dr Lori is about to get more subscribers. I love her humor

Hey reach out, I have important INFO to share with you ✍️✍️✍️
Never thought I'd be so invested and interested in a video... about lamps! This was super interesting and awesome to watch, thank you ❤️
We all loved the vintage lights from our first view.

Loving all your light fixtures. Thanks for sharing Mr Drew.
That one was my second fav, it's gorgeous.
Dr. Lori is so kind and eager to share her incredible knowledge-I love how graciously she went above and beyond to share her passions. Her pointing out the scrollwork on the beams absolutely endeared her to me. 🥰
@Dr. Lori As are we! You two should collab more in the future!
@Dr. Lori Enjoyed your expert insights and your conversation with Drew. Thank you!
Thank you so much. Grateful to Drew for reaching out to me.
Love her! She’s so educated and passionate about sharing her knowledge. 💛
ALL the lights are so beautiful! I know they aren't the worth a ton ( except the last one) but the history and the artistry are so unique. It's so amazing that they are STILL in the house.
O.M.G. Drew!! So glad you allowed us to be a part of the appraisal! Amazed and so happy for you!! 💙👍
You really are the loveliest character Drew. You really suit your new home. I hope you will be very happy in it. X
@Lisa Huber definitely for earthquake safety!
@Kimberly that is what I was thinking. Such an easy target for them
@Mellie I don't think it would hurt to check on them after a hundred years ...
A retired museum curator in one of the comments suggested having a fine arts museum insure them because they’ll understand the value more than a typical insurance company. Such a good idea!
@Lisa Huber given they've been hanging there since the house was built in the 20s i would venture to guess they're just fine!
Dr Laurie was such a wealth of knowledge and so warm. Hope to see more of her on your channel xx
Your home is so beautiful and the lights alone are like looking at a museum! Dr Lori is fun!
This is so fascinating to hear all the history of these fixtures. Makes you appreciate the style and beauty of each one.
Loved the amber globe pendant and the alabaster pendant. Those could easily fit into any modern home today.

It's amazing that the previous owners kept all of those. You're very lucky!! They're all beautiful.
@Lone Fox They probably forgot the $15,000 light, didn't realize the value of that one.
@step one Thank you for letting me know, knew about the East coast, but not California, lived there, but could not afford a home their.
@step one isn’t that the whole point of preservation though?
Loved this video! Big question: what do you do if you don’t like the light fixtures? Totally understand respecting the history and value of each piece but it’s your space and shouldn’t you be free to reflect your own personal taste? The current fixtures are pretty bold, would be interested in seeing how you style the murano ones!
I think that's an issue in a lot of restorations. I would want to maintain the integrity but not live with something I didn't love. I think removing things like fixtures and tiles, built ins etc and making them available to others is a great thing. Then find things that are period appropriate AND fit your tastes. Win...win.
You contact a reputable art dealer and sell them! $$$
The last chandelier would look incredible in a dining room or living room. So beautiful!
that alabaster light is EVERYTHING!! The bathroom wall mount is so gorgeous! You are so blessed to have this home. I love every light so much!
It would be great if you could put together a video with drone travelling through the house at night time so we can see all the lamps on ❤ Love you videos, you've inspired me!
I would love to see Drew revive this home to the era
The baroque crystal elements on that last chandelier are so beautiful.
Your home is absolutely stunning. I am in love with it. And I love to watch Dr Lori. She knows everything! What a delightful video. I’m so happy that YOU are in possession of this gem of a home.

I cannot wait to see how you design all those amazing rooms in your beautiful new home!
I knew it! I'm so happy for you, Drew! This couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
Your house is beautiful! The lights are such a treasure trove of history. One of my favorite KZclip videos.
I wish we could see how the house was originally decorated. Based on these fixtures, mostly imported, I imagine the original owners had some very bougie taste.
@John Vonundzu agree! Definitely a collector that put them in afterwards
Wow my jar dropped when she gave you each value.
What beautiful light!! I hope that Lone has got them insured.

This was so fun. Thank you for bringing us along Drew

You have struck gold with these gorgeous light fixtures. I can’t to see if you keep them and decorate around them.
I wonder how much information is available on the original owners of the house. It's so incredibly beautiful and I'm super happy for you!!!!! Thanks so much for taking us along on your adventure 😊
There's so much joy ♡ every time I watch your channel you remind me to be happy with the little things
Whoever owned this home was extremely wealthy. You’ve been blessed Drew! Yvonne
@rneustel
True
I’ve been to a lot of rug auctions. Blows me away what people pay for a totally worn out Persian hand-knotted rug. They should be appraised.
@dietLIT It sounds like they were made with some of the best, if not the best, materials available at the time.
Well the lighting was made with excellent craftsmanship but have appreciated in time!
I agree.
It makes you wonder about how much the rugs might be worth, too.
Every single chandelier is so freakin beautiful and unique 😍😍😍 please dont replace them
Omg those Murano glass and Amber globe are my favs. I hope you keep them all and incorporate them into your style. So beautiful😍😍😍
This is completely fascinating, wow 🤯 my mind is blown. Congratulations on your new house and thank you for sharing all of this unique and interesting content that’s coming along with it!
Your light fixtures are worth as much as a small home! SOOOO gorgeous
Not in California !!! 🏰
You purchased a goldmine! Not only do you have a beautiful home , but those fixtures are amazingly gorgeous!
@ElephantInTheRoom exactly! It could be spectacular and a showplace like none other!
I was scared as well
@rneustel I was, too!
I was literally worrying about him selling some of them on Facebook Marketplace for $100!!
I loved this episode so much. The detailed explanation hit my architectural/artistic side so hard. Dr Lori was so much fun and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!
OMG that was a feast for my soul! I've never seen such beautiful lights. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
This was awesome! Makes me sad to think that a lot of people are probably throwing away vintage lamps to replace with modern ones. Im sure that happens a lot
Drew this house is a long time keeper. You're lucky to have found it at a young age and be able to buy it.
my fav is definitely the green one, i love the stained glass and weird design, also i’m european so when i first saw the house tour i knew those lights were EXPENSIVE
Oh, Drew!!! That appraisal was perfect. Thank you so much for doing that. The appraisal amount was impressive, but the history of the art is the most beautiful thing. I’m so glad you are the steward of these pieces. Your utter delight shines through. Warms my heart.
❤️
You know I thought maybe if there is a housewarming party and the people were asked to dress up as it were in the 1929 style it would be so cool.
the gothic revival piece in the hallway is my favorite, please don't get rid of it lol. it really makes that space, perfect spot for it.

Drew, I'm so pleased for you. What an incredible bonus on top of your house purchase.
All those light fittings are just gorgeous. Wow!
Wow! How lucky Drew and that they are still here in the house!
Yes I really was waiting for him to fully realize what he really has and realize how worth it it is to conserve all of that.
Well said!
She's great! Drew don't get rid of any of the lighting's. All are so beautiful and unique. Congratulations on your new home.
I am shocked that the old owner sold the house with all of the original lights worth that much!! They are all beautiful and special!!
The seller was probably the grandchildren of the owner and not interested in the light fixtures or removing and selling them for $.
He probably left them because he probably made more profit on all the light fixtures I think x
Drew! what a fun video, and thank you for introducing us to Dr. Lori
Congrats on this fabulous home. The light fixtures/history is fascinating. Yes- seek some good insurance, as recommended. One of your best episodes!
Your community is fascinating!!! So many helpful and sound pieces of advice. Stay safe and protected out there!!!
Wow!!! How lucky are you to have all these unique antique lighting in your home. Congratulations!!! Please keep them.
Lori is a powerhouse! I loved this video so much!
$48,150!!!😮 Was anyone else calculating?! 😱 OMG, what a treasure, Drew!!!
I hope you keep them all as well as design with them incorporated in a way that will expand their beauty into the surroundings for example the murano glass pieces and the navy from the chandelier used throughout the space. What an amazing appraisal, definitely include that in the insurance right now while construction is carrying on in case something happens!
What an amazing house and gorgeous light fixtures. I can’t wait to see how you decorate it!
What an amazing collection you have. It’s such a delight to see. So unique!
