✨Mia, I have the same popcorn maker. You need to take the red part off of the bowl on the popcorn maker. It let's the steam out! Then once the popcorn is done you put it back on so that if you put butter or salt on your popcorn it doesn't leak out the bottom. Just want to let you know so that it doesn't eventually melt 😊. This video was fun though! Love you! 💕

you also out pats of butter on the holes while its popping.. the butter will melt and distribute evenly on the popcorn!

Yes same! I'm Japanese mixed and anytime we go to Japan to visit my family I immediately get hot pot with my cousins and our friends yo catch up with them. It brings a sense of closeness because it's a meal that keeps people at the table for long time.
(If I'm lucky we hope over to South Korea cause I'm obsessed with Korean food.)
Vietnamese food is super underrated! Where we live in America there's HUGE Vietnamese community and my favorite sandwich shop has famous bành mí and pho. I also L❤VE getting Gỏi cuốn in the summer and Hủ tiếu (pork is my favorite if I eat meat YUM!) In the winer. 😋

As someone who's has been working at Boston Pizza for almost 6 years, I love that you made your own cactus cuts at home!! Helpful tip: cactus cuts are soaked in jalapeño juice before we deep fry them (that's how they get their insane spice!), and when dining in (or doing takeout/delivery) you can ask for them to be cooked through the oven for a gluten wise option! Oh, and there are a few locations in The States, even though it's primarily Canadian based 😉

@Leth Fuil as a daughter of Portuguese immigrants I mostly agree. There are many who prefer more heat but most Portuguese dishes are just heavy in spices (flavorings not heat), with it being really easy to add the heat by adding more spices or another ingredient. Probably due to their influence on the spice trade.

    • Leth Fuil
Leth Fuil 10 ай бұрын +1

@NobleSixEnglish I guess you're mixing up portuguese food with something else, because the portuguese cousin isn't spicy at all (the spanish also isn't, just as a fun fact. But that's also something a lot of people get wrong).
A lot of different spices are used (as in flavorful), but not in a very overpowering way and definitely not in the sense of hot/spicy.

@Brenda Spinney Reyna southern New England is known for its Portuguese food which in return is actually pretty spicy. But in all New England is known for its seafood not its spice. I want to try this place lol

@Brenda Spinney Reyna Boston pizza has pretty decent pizza. Can be a little expensive. I used to wonder why a Canadian restaurant named it after a US city, but I guess it's the style of pizza. Those cactus cuts are awesome though. Not super spicy but haveva little kick and the dip it comes with is really good too.

Always use one hand for wet ingredients and one for dry so you don’t get all the clumpy mess. And if you lay it on the crumbs, lightly roll it, don’t keep touching with your hands especially when they’re both full of wet and dry ingredients. It will cover everything much better...Hope this will help for the future. You did a great job and they sounded so crunchy!! 🥰👩🏻‍🍳🍲🥘

As a dietitian i can tell you that we almost never put lettuce for patients that eat blended food because lettuce is so hard to blend and there will always be some chunks. So i don't think that the problem is that the blender isn't strong enough 🤔

My boyfriend's been eyeing an air fryer since before Covid. How does it broil? With a rack inside? Is dehydrate a separate function or do you have to marinate meats so that they don't dry out?

I have the fryer oven, it’s the same as an air fryer, just more room, and I love it! Mine comes with attachments so you can make rotisserie chicken, skewers, and a rotation basket to get and even cook on fries 👌🏻 so I literally use mine for everything, chicken breast has such a good consistency in the air fryer

@Mandy Heart I think in regards to hotpot I'd say smoking too. It is easy to overboil or burn on the bottom. It is a stinky smoke in your face. It means you need to turn the temperature down. Similar experience to campfire smoke in your face, but a food smell 😂. Atleast this is my experience in China.

I am a chef and work in a restaurant. For the beef. you have the right idea and the research you did is correct. We do about 60 portions of beef... so we use a commercial slicer. We put them in the freezer overnight and then use a commercial slicer to cut them. if doing it with a knife. it needs to be 3/4 frozen and your knife needs to be razer sharp.

I’m so glad you made hotpot! It’s so versatile and you can always adjust it to your taste. For hotpot, everything you need can be found at T&T. I would recommend the instant hotpot broths, pre-sliced hot pot meat, and dipping sauces are a must (soy sauce, chilli oil, sesame sauce, Chinese bbq sauce, green onion etc)! Vermicelli and udon noodles work really well in hotpot as well, rice noodles are good too and don’t need to be pre-cooked :D

Those stained Silicone Baking Sheets get cleaned best when you put in the Dishwasher, Top rack, each time you use them. Also make a baking soda paste and scrub the sheet with it and let it sit. Also good quality dish soap, soak it in there (natural dish soaps don't clean well).

As said a lot before (but one more time won't hurt xD): in Europe we don't really have measuring cups for spoon sizes and cubs. We simply use tableware (and it always works) and/or gramms for bigger amounts.
It's annoying to convert american (especially US) recipes because of this cup/"spoon" thing (not only because of the weird weight thing. xD)

@Mandy Heart that’s the measuring we use in Europe. Our measurements are in big spoons and teaspoons

Omg that’s exactly what I said!!! People can’t actually think that a silverware spoon is for measuring. Do they think it’s a teaspoon or tablespoon ? Then what do they use for the other one? Hahaha. Haaaaate it

@C Ro Ah so I wasn't alone in that. I had to do an elimination diet too years ago (Nowadays allowed gluten, but barely or no dairy or soy. I turned out allergic to several fruits as well and my IBS flares due to certain greens/veggies and drinks. Still, I always feel for you guys. Gluten is in freaking everything!). Anyway, those crumbs were a huge no no back then. I'm not from Canada/USA, so don't recognise it: maybe she has a brand that's glutenfree?

Hey Mia! My husband prefers my homemade ranch. It’s veganaise (we have to use the soy free variety). Thinned out with milk substitute of your choosing and then garlic, salt, and dill. He loves it! You can make it thicker like a chip dip or thinner for a ranch :)

I love that Mia uploaded a video with her having zit stickers on her face! I don't know but this gives me such a positive vibe. A normal person living her normal life on KZclip, no filter just realness 🙌 And if you can't handle spice, the habanero wasn't needed lol. In our house we love meat in the Airfryer, it does a very good job on that! Loved this video, love cooking videos in general actually 🤗
