I am hoping eventually Gaijin will add Pakistan sub tree to Chinese tech tree in game would want to try something like the Al-Zarrar, a Type 59 but fitted with 125mm. I love evolutions of chinese vehicles, and lots of them are found in foreign hands as well, chinese military industry are really the jump starters of modern military. and because of that they are very unique & really fun to play in the game.
If ZTZ96 has -9kph reverse, why in the world does ZTZ96A, a supposedly upgrade version of it, only has -6kph??? Could you double check and verify ZTZ96A's reverse speed please?
My understanding when ZTZ96 upgrade to ZTZ96A is more emphasize on protect such as ERA on hull and arrow shape composite armour at turret. Also newer sabot round and gunner thermal imaging gunner sight. In the mobility still only with. 800hp engine, not improved. Type96A do incorporate some improvement technology from ztz99.

Chinese main battle tanks and Soviet main battle tanks have nothing to do with each other now. The Type 15 is an original product of China, and the fourth generation is also original. Chinese tanks currently in service have the best informatization, while Russian main battle tanks are poor in informatization.
If China/Taiwan was not so underrated it would have become major nation already. Many people still don't realize the amazing future potential it has with many more tanks/vehicles and amazing jets domestic and foreign to add. To top it up I would like to see possibility of Pakistan, North Korea or Bangladesh sub tree being added someday in the future Oh and finally add APS to Chinese modern mbts... 99a is one of the best mobilty tank.
It carries almost the perfect balance for an MBT. In fact, lots of Chinese tankers prefer the ZTZ96 over the ZTZ99

Because when a vehicle is "upgraded" that doesn't mean every single component and part in it is upgraded. Upgraded also doesn't mean faster.
