It's hypocritical how people shit on rappers who snitch and "betray" people they know, but then they say free melly.
I think killing your bestfriends is much more of a betrayal than snitching

@Blitz Comet florida court system just has been backed up for years, even the parkland shooter just got his sentence and went through his trial recently. both the prosecution and defense have been also been pushing the trial back further for a number of reasons. he is innocent until proven guilty but the prosecution has a great amount of circumstantial evidence that points in the direction of melly being present at the shooting and being the shooter or at least being involved in the shooting. We’ll all see what happens once the trial starts and ends with the verdict of the case. The defense only has to create a sense of reasonable doubt and sway one jury member to get a retrial. In my opinion and my own personal experience, it is definitely not looking good for melly; the circumstantial evidence is very strong and paints a clear picture of what exactly happened when his friends were shot and killed.

I'm an old head an I've seen dudes like him my whole life. Some of them were my friends. He's a "habitual line stepper". No matter how many close calls they have, they keep pushing their luck. If he beats this case, he will keep doing more and more until he gets murdered, a life sentence, or the chair. He sees himself as a victim no matter what he does, and won't take responsibility.

Hell is real!!!! Your soul is the "real you". When your body dies, your soul will continue to live forever, in Heaven or in Hell. We can not hide our sins from God. Jesus Christ loves you and He died for your sins. We must REPENT!! If you will REPENT of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believe in and follow the gospel, you will be saved and your name will be written into the Book of Life...
Revelation 20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
      "Confession Prayer" (Repeat Aloud)
Father God, I come to you, to confess that I am a sinner. I have done some things in my life that I am not proud of and I repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and that He arose from the grave and that He is alive today. I ask that you forgive me of my sins. I confess with my mouth, that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. AMEN.

Once you die, it will be too late to repent. You will have to answer for rejecting Christ. Put your trust in Jesus Christ and repent while you still are able to. We are not guaranteed tomorrow. Jesus loves you and He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Have a great day!

I went to school with melly, I can vividly remember hearing gunshots walking out to my car in the school parking lot the day he was arrested. I definitely wasn’t friends with him but had quite a few encounters with him because one of my classes was office aide, I would basically deliver hall passes for specific kids to go to the principals office, I can remember bringing him down that day because the people he shot at snitched on him saying he had a gun. The cops searched him and found nothing. Then proceeded to shoot the very same day at the kids not even 100 yards from the school. I know the general idea is innocent until proven guilty but for this specific case I just know he’s guilty. He’s fucking insane in the head like clinically insane. I’m honestly surprised his defense hasn’t tried taking that route.

bro really backed himself into a corner with this situation - my guess is the kanye feature and his new acclaimed fame that resulted from that created some dispute about how much money sakchaser and juvy should get. i really think he killed them, the fact that the ballistics and the shells found don't add up to their story is damning, they just don't have the gun or anyone that will admit to anything. it sucks our prison system sucks and he's getting beat up on but that don't make him innocent. if he was really innocent, they wouldn't have rescinded the speedy trial motion.

@Klaytone its really not, it makes perfect sense. look at all of the cities in America that do this catch and release program like Chicago. Lets also look at Chicago’s crime rate, they have more murders committed in Chicago alone than my whole country has in a year (i live in Italia). It’s called due process and his defense team also did not take up on his right to a speedy trial so the state doesn’t have to make it speedy. His defense team also has pushed back the trial starting multiple times now.

    • Luciano

Life is messed up could you imagine if everybody was still alive and not in jail the music industry would be dominating the world right now on a different level RIP To all the amazing rappers that we lost we also got some really good rappers that are facing life behind bars or a ton of years I wish everybody was free and alive , The rap scene would look so different right now

Great coverage of the story. I hate how in court you could have the most evidence, even down to pinging the exact locations on their phones. Even having the shell cases in the car and finding the glass that matches the vehicle, and the people straight up lying about the situation, just for the evidence to be “not good enough” because you don’t have the weapon and you can’t prove the intent fully. From the evidence they’ve gathered, only 2 people were able to commit the murders. This was a crazy video, thanks for covering this

@magic marcell true. people be lazy these days and don't want to do their job. if he was innocent his team would fight harder to prove he was and then if he was guilty, they would find a way to prove him guilty without the weapon. many times cases were solved without the weapon.

There is such a big burden on the prosecutors because it is first degree murder. Lesser crimes have less of a burden. I will say the creator of this video overstates requirements for a conviction. You do not need a murder weapon or a motive to prove first degree murder to a court, you need 12 jurors to agree the defendant is guilty. There's also probably some evidence the police have that we are not aware of.

@Aarondé I agree completely. I actually thought about this when I was typing the original message and it’s definitely hard to decide. I think when you have too much evidence it shouldn’t matter, but it’s a case by case thing. Definitely don’t want the innocent getting locked up more

The thing about bipolar people that most people don’t understand it doesn’t mean, your mad then sad then happy. Its deeper than that. A bad bipolar episode can lead to somebody divorcing their partner, quitting their job and moving to another country. Its that bad sometimes people can completely fly off the rails. So it wouldn’t be surprising if a bipolar episode lead to him murdering his friends. Especially if its stacked ontop of other mental issues which it seems like it is

I had one that quickly within 2 months turned into 18 of them they spread extremely quickly n my immune system couldn't fight them off so I ended up having to get all my teeth pulled in a emergency surgery to stop the infection from spreading into my bloodstream killing me. I was within days of it going that far I was put under anesthesia n woke up 4hrs later n all 28 of my teeth had been pulled n my gums n jawline thoroughly scraped n dug out to get every bit of infection out by hand n luckily I survived. Worst pain I ever endured. It literally felt like every 5mins I was being smashed in the mouth by a baseball bat

When he speaks about not being a human killer. You can tell he was lying, his anxiety shows because he’s telling the whole world this…. A lot of rappers are in gang affiliations. A lot of rappers take that life and each one does something different all the time, yet all of them are not murders. We don’t know who are the ones who have blood on them. I heard this song playing and when I did I said ‘ Why is this an anthem that people are going towards? I like his voice. Yet the sinister side to know that somebody can just sing about murder on a full track. Then to now see later on down the line. One of the biggest tracks played a part in a planned murder. Of two best friends. He was already around a major artists, being free, making money. A lot of rappers need mental help. He said young him.. Was into guns… already popping off guns. Why would anyone really tell you about there actual life. I find this generation to be trusting in ways our parents and grandparents said not to be. It’s not just the money. It’s the fame + your born environment. They are able to feel that they can get away with anything. Once they hit one point and they want another one. It’s scary. He took out his own friends because of it.

I grew up under bridges under much worse circumstances to a crack head mother and a father who died robbing a house. Never had nothing, now I am a homeowner who runs a studio. Anybody can change their life around and seek out mental help for their conditions. I am also bi-polar, have depression, anxiety, and grew up with violent anger tendencies... None of that is an excuse for being a disgusting person who would murder someone or take part in a murder.

I will absolutely never forget where I was when I got the notification on my phone that he was ARRESTED for the same crime I had just heard committed a few days prior. I was literally bumping his music on the way to the airport in disbelief.
Yeah I fucked with his art, but he absolutely did it. Do not free him. I say that, but I don’t care WHAT you’ve done.. Nobody should face an entire lifetime of fucking torture

His time behind bars hasn't been harsh. Thats the scenario he portrays to make it seem as if he is being mistreated, that way people will feel sorry for him and maybe he can try convincing someone he isn't guilty. The only problem with it as anyone who has been through it or is part of the judicial system, we can read through the BS.

Also, people in the industry have been victims of monarch programming, which creates alter ego's or fractured personalities. This is why many have second personalities, and they use them as characters. This stuff is so out in the open, yet people pretend it is just crazy and refuse to believe it. The truth is crazy.

Melly Could have carried the soundcloud era a little longer and kept it relevant along with Juice Wrld that's why i miss his music because of how much potential I saw in him but if he did most likely kill his friends based on the amount of evidence, there are consequences to your actions
Another thing I keep in the back of my mind is what XXXTENTACION said in his interview back in 2017 about the broward county jail and how cruel it is and How they get paid to keep you in jail instead of winning trial resulting into it being delayed and pushed back and in X's documentary on he said "Do NOT go to broward county jail they will NOT let you out" I hope the best for melly...but expect the worse.

This type of story in the rap world is so unbelievably common. Bobby Smurda, Tay k, Kodak, Suge the list goes on and on. One would think they might learn from these men that get locked up but they get money in their hand and it makes them think they're untouchable. What a waste of life and the possibility of bringing music to the world during a successful rap career. It's all behind them since their crimes took a front seat.

this fr reminds me of that Boondocks episode where Huey said something about "rappers snitching on themselves" thru their lyrics and then it cutaway to a scene of a rapper bragging about a murder in his lyrics and afterward being arrested while singing on stage. i never woulda thought that exact bit would happen irl 😅

I've been watching this case since it happened. I think more than likely Melly is guilty. But I question why any rapper dying or getting into some ish always gotta have these vast conspiracies and mysteries around everything. I can't name a single soul where everyone agrees, like yup thats what happened. Sometimes there is a conspiracy going on, but sometimes people just die.

Idk how I feel about him getting mistreated. On one hand, if he murdered his best friends, I find it hard to have sympathy. But on the other hand, I try to look at everyone as human. Idk, it's hard to have sympathy for a murderer.
