@J Nix Just think, if they would've moved Gronkowski to the inside and Malcolm Jenkins didn't get the read he got, we could still be waiting on a Superbowl ring, and they'd be talking about how great of a comeback Brady had against the Eagles in the Superbowl. I loved this game. Hopefully we get number 2 this year.
The way Doug looked him in the eye. Saw that it was the right call with the right guy at the right time. One of my favorite sports moments. Along with Graham's strip of Brady. He was moved inside because he knew he would beat the guard and have a chance to do exactly what he did. Amy move could be the difference. Also loved Blount's TD run. Just because it was badass. Especially the spike
Re-watching the last 9 seconds, as an Eagles fan for my entire life, it still feels like an eternity. And the way the camera pans across the faces of my fellow fanbase... I gotta say if you haven't rode with this team through thick and thin, if you haven't lived the year after year of close but no cigar, you can't fully comprehend the heightened emotion of those last 9 seconds. Its about as close as I could physically relate to the moment before a volcano erupts... that period right before when it's just bubbling up ready to burst through. It's a feeling that I will always remember and cherish the rest of my life. This is the moment that made all those years arguing with my division rivals worth it! FLY EALGES FLY! FOREVER!
I’ve recently become an Eagles fan and I remember watching that game going for the Patriots but now I feel like the Eagles have another shot this year as we are the best team in the League rn
2020 and I still hold my breath at last 9 sec of the game. I'm just happy my mom got to see her Eagles won the suprebowl finally. before she passed away couples months after this. FLY EAGLES FLY!
Even though my team lost, this was still a great SuperBowl. Barely any penalties, straight up football the whole time. Eagles got revenge on the Pats and got their first ring. Well deserved
I could still remember this night like it was yesterday. I went absolutely apeshit bonkers with tears of joy while rolling on the ground of my living room. Have been a fan since the Randall Cunningham era.
same, bro....watchin this in 2022 and I still get all misty eyed watchin the Eagles faithful late in the game....been a fan since Jaws was slingin em at Harold Carmichael...soo many bad teams....soo many good teams that just couldnt quite put it all together....really made this sooo f'n sweet
4 years later and I'm still amazed my team won. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game or go to the parade (thankful for live streaming on that one), but I can't begin to tell you how insanely happy I was the Eagles won the Super Bowl!
“An undrafted rookie RB, tossing to a 3rd string TE, throwing to a backup QB. There isn’t a play in the playbook, that illustrates what makes this Philly team special, more than the Philly Special” Still get chills #FlyEaglesFly🏆🦅🏆
When nick foles hoisted up the lombardi trophy, it felt as if the city of philly and eagles fans everywhere hoisted it with him. That’s how special this was for that city and it made all everything beyond worth it. Most loyal fans in the world and i’m so glad i am one of them.
The Eagles season literally played out like a Hollywood movie. Being batted around the year before. Then going into the new season already counted out. Then they go on an insane winning streak.. Still doubted by everyone.. Lose their starting QB at a critical game and time in the season. More doubt.. The win the Superbowl against the returning Champions who have the greatest QB in history. And they did it with their backup QB. This kinda reminds me of a real life Rocky type movie. How ironic the team is also from Philadelphia.
Wow, we really have been blessed with amazing super bowls recently. SB49, SB 51, SB 52 and SB 54 were all amazing. This one is probably the greatest out of those and dare I say it's one of the best 5 Super Bowls ever played.
Bro as a true eagles fan this moment always gets me emotional bc of how great we were and how we drop dramatically in a short period of time. Dec 2020 anyone
Hate to admit it, because I was his biggest supporter, but after seeing how the colts players already hate him, it only proves Wentz was a cancer who drove the locker room apart
I remember rooting for the patriots this game and when they lost, bruh I was sad the whole night but now that I see this video, I see that the eagles deserved this.
You know I go back to this often, and one thing always catches me. Foles is a humble, and great leader. Maybe not the greatest qb, but a legend in Philly forever, and one hell of a leader
I'm still watching these highlights and finding more Eagles clips in March. the Eagles Blu Ray for Super Bowl 52 is fun to watch and has many of the same footage, and some newer clips that weren't shown before.
I'm surprised Brandon Cooks woke up from that Jenkins hit. Broke my heart to see Jenkins go, but I'm happy he's back in NO. Jenkins was so great for Philly, a true leader for the defense and the team as a whole.
Brilliantly done. This game had such drama, such amazing performances on both sides of the ball. Fans of either team have never fail to give credit to the other side. Has to go down as one of the greatest super bowls of all time.
That's a mind-blowing statistic 1151 yards in one game the most ever in any NFL game.. I personally feel was the most entertaining NFL game I've ever seen.. and it was a Super Bowl and it was the Eagles winning!!!... I just wish my dad would have been alive to see it..
Brian Dawkins crying...man it gets to me. True eagles leyend. shouldve won one in his era. Its great he got to witness a eagles finally win one. GO EAGLES!
@Glitch One of mine as well but I started watching football when Reggie White and Randall Cunningham were on the team. Lots of favorite Eagles on my list. Carson will soon be all of our favorite.
Can’t explain why, but I didn’t cry when i was watching the actual super bowl, but cried through this whole video! As a lifelong Eagles fan, I was so caught up in the game that I don’t think it hit me, but now it hits me hard. Legit, I never thought I’d live to see the Birds win a Super Bowl and that year after Wentz went down, I thought it was over. Foles will be loved in Philly forever!
I have been an Eagles fan my whole life. Watching this makes me cry to see my team win the super bowl. From the begining to the Philly Special to the last play of the game, I still can't belive it
Teared up when the Narrator was describing the Philly Special play, that was such a special moment in the game. They played AMAZING congrats to Nick Foles and the rest of the Eagles! Fly Eagles Fly 💚 🏈
If there is one Play that The Greatest Quarterback of All Time ever regrets, if there is One Play that he wished he could turn back time on, It's Dropping that absolute FLOATER of a pass and letting the momentum of the game LITERALLY slip through his fingers
such an amazing game and such an amazing moment for all the long-suffering Eagles fans....i still would have liked to see Ertz get a nod for MVP...the 4th down catch, the go-ahead TD...if it wasnt for the incredible philly special he woulda got it....Foles deserved it, but there was a ton of heroes for the Eagles that night and I thank each and every 1 with all my heart to this day...and if you didnt cry during Kelce's speech at the parade, i dont wanna know you
Not gonna lie: I signed on to the Green and Silver in 1980, and I cried in this day (I was 45). Hopefully in another two weeks, I'll get to celebrate again. Fly, Eagles, Fly!!!
@Anime_Weeb he dont know what this meant to philly fans.. I'm 38 lived in philly all my life . 4 for 4 guy. Just stopped back today to watch again before football starts lol GO BIRDS
One of Nick foles greatest traits in this game I think was confidence, when he goes to the sideline before the 4th and 1 play and he asks Pederson you want Philly philly and Pederson says yes you can just see the confidence oozing out of foles.
"I've been back to watch this the last 3 year's and I'm still not ashamed to say I cry when I do... *Greatest Game I've EVER saw *FlyEaglesFly *BirdGang *Philly Stand Up💯
These mic'd up segments from the Super Bowl is the single best documentary of a single Super Bowl that I have ever seen. I can't wait to see the America's Game documentary later this year.
@Khmerian I'm still waiting for the Flyers too. I was 3 or 4 when they won. But I didn't become a fan until the mid 80s. The Eagles' Super Bowl win is my absolute favorite sports moment of all time. Glad I got to see if with my son. Regret that my father wasn't here to see it, but we felt his presence
Aj Mattei Almost all of my favoriate teams have won a title in my lifetime except the Flyers.Eagles are my favoriate Philadelphia team and I almost cried when they won.Been waiting 25 years for this.
This is the best (in my opinion, and I've seen a bunch) highlight clip show I've ever seen of that game!!! I love the commentary, and visuals (especially the 2 people wearing Gronk jerseys on that last pass being in the camera shot) and I love those quotes: "it's a game sometime this week right?" "An undrafted rookie running back, tossing to a 3rd string tight end, throwing to a backup Quarterback"(and a second year coach) "You have more catches than Tom" "That was a good throw though..."(from a Patriots player)
I remember watching this live. before the game, I was like gonna be a snore-feast. After the first quarter, I was like my controller isn’t working. 😂 Awesome game, even had my Eagles Vick jersey on, my neighbor wasn’t to happy. I live in Somerville, Mass.
The Eagles not only won the Super bowl but wow, this was the most entertaining Championship I've ever seen. I'm not being biased neither because I'm an Eagles fan. over 70 points in a Super Bowl. Trick Plays, last minute strip sack. The Eagles killed it! Philadelphia love's you Dougy P.
LayLegends Minivan 52 were better than both. We watched a underdog team led by a back up qb go toe to toe with tom Brady. Also you gotta know the rules both of those TDs were called right. The first 1 clement actually got 3 feet down and the ball only moved because he transferred it to the other arm to brace for impact. He did not lose control at any point during the catch. You flat out have to be a homer if you think the second catch wasn't a TD. He caught it at the 6 and took 3 steps. On the second step he's a runner and on the 3rd step he dived which is a football move. You sound like cris Collinsworth. There could've been interference called all game. Gilmore got away with 2 calls in the end zone. Van noy pushed Clement on the 2pt conversion. Gronk clearly pushed off the whole game and threw a db on that hail Mary. The refs let the players play. You would think the last 2 new England won were classics tho huh ? But not Tom Brady 500 yard 3td 0int performance not ?
As an englishman who has supported philly since he saw randall cunningham do his magic that became my team, was them at wembley stadium in 89 and was an incredble experience,my brother in law too was a philly fan since 88 he passed away in 2002 , im support manchester united and we have won every trophy. To watch philly win the superbowl there are no words. The best feeling ive had in sport, got my replica ring and will watch a game in philly one day thats for sure,"fly eagles fly"
6:45 "An undrafted rookie RB, tossing to a 3rd string TE, throwing to a back up QB. There ins't a play in the playbook that illustrates what makes this Philly team special more than the Philly Special"
I’m a cowboys fan but this is the perfect underdog story for the most fitting underdog city, a back up quarterback back going against the big bad PATROITS and knock the out, David and Goliath at it’s finest.
anthony read yeah, # 1 in a top 5. #2 to #5 could be Buffalo Bills losing those 4 straight years in a row ! Bills fans, in my experience, are over-the-top obnoxious. God bless Scott Norwood ! 🏈😭
Nick Foles is my hero. I will remember that night forever. I stayed up on Facebook all night just crying tears of joy and celebrating. Happiest moment of my life!
“You want Philly Philly?”
“Yeah let’s do it”
Most iconic line for the Eagles 🦅
Go Birds.
Don’t forget about the look he gave him
The way Doug looked him in the eye.
I might be biased because I am an eagles fan but I think this was one of the best Super Bowls all time
I'm with you. I am an Eagles fan but yet I am convinced this is the best Super Bowl of all time.
@Prince_Andrew hence "one of the greatest" this superbowl is easily top 5
No and as an Eagles fan this one wasn’t the greatest but it also was the greatest because it was our first Super Bowl win
Seahawks fan. Definitely one I didn’t forget. I felt like It was a revenge tour for every team the patriots beat in super bowl salute
Re-watching the last 9 seconds, as an Eagles fan for my entire life, it still feels like an eternity. And the way the camera pans across the faces of my fellow fanbase... I’ve recently become an Eagles fan and I remember watching that game going for the Patriots but now I feel like the Eagles have another shot this year as we are the best team in the League rn
Screw the Eagles go 49ers
11 months how are you now the eagles are 7 wins and zero losses
I still have to pinch myself that we won this game. Just thinking about it gives me chills. What a team. What a game.
@Dennis Tracy they were given the game by the league
you were GIVEN the game by Belishitt
@Brian Lesnikowski cry more
Have watched this about 20 times since NFL Films made it and I still tear up every time. Still can’t believe we really won a SB. 🦅🦅
you didn't. thrown away by garbage coach.
“A undrafted rookie running back, to a third string tight end, to a backup quarterback.”
I seems like an unreal thought right?
Just to good to be true having those players who were labeled fraud as players.
@pyrozweak.. You cant even spell "illegal" right
Touchdown, in the super bowl, agents the Pats, on fourth down
Carel van der Plas stop crying
i've watched so many highlights of this game and I still get goosebumps.
God damn I was so happy watching the Patriots lose
Same
Haha same. I must come back to it every month to relive it. Never expected to get to experience it.
Hrudo
El Hoodanie yeah but I don’t think that’ll happen this year ☹️
knowing that the eagles are going to win i’m still nervous watching this
because they didn't really win. it was fixed.
Most relatable thing of all time
Same
I start tearing up when the narrator said “an undrafted rookie running back, to a 3rd string tight end, to a backup quarterback
and yet, you still think you won? laughable. you are describing the losing team that was allowed to win. it's fake!
I am your reminder that Tom brady can do it.
That will always be a great moment in football history! Thank you for your comment! ♥
every time 😭
2020 and I still hold my breath at last 9 sec of the game. I'm just happy my mom got to see her Eagles won the suprebowl finally. before she passed away couples months after this. FLY EAGLES FLY!
Hope mine does from a lions fan
Philly special gives me chills EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!
2020! I still tear up watching this, unbelievable game, inspirational!
Even though my team lost, this was still a great SuperBowl. Barely any penalties, straight up football the whole time. Eagles got revenge on the Pats and got their first ring. Well deserved
@AmpSZero not really, it was a clean hit
Don’t like Pats fans but love fans who give teams their respect…
Why are you giving credit to the eagles if you are a patriots fan? Eagles played horrible in this game! Patriots played best in this game!
Tom Brady The refs would’ve noticed and reviewed it so it wasn’t
Eagles got like 10 penalties but respect to you for not being that really... annoying fan
Somewhere in that stadium, EDP is sitting there crying over the victory
😂
This didn’t age well
Legend has it he left his cupcake on his seat
Now he’s crying over cupcakes…
I could still remember this night like it was yesterday. I went absolutely apeshit bonkers with tears of joy while rolling on the ground of my living room. Have been a fan since the Randall Cunningham era.
fan since Jaws. was in Florida with a Philly friend. was firing off rounds in the air at the end of the game. BEEN A LONG TIME COMING.
same, bro....watchin this in 2022 and I still get all misty eyed watchin the Eagles faithful late in the game....been a fan since Jaws was slingin em at Harold Carmichael...soo many bad teams....soo many good teams that just couldnt quite put it all together....really made this sooo f'n sweet
I always get goosebumps when Brady fumbles it and the eagles recover.
Every time I watch this it brings tears to my eyes. Fly Eagles Fly!

I’m not trying to hate on the eagles, but the play was first used by the patriots, so why does everyone call it the “philly” special
Adrian Terrell eagles TRASH
Dolphins play vs us was pretty close

@TheGoldenRule Yea we were moving on to the NFC championship game again. Freakin Alshon man, that hurt.
Hate to admit it, because I was his biggest supporter, but after seeing how the colts players already hate him, it only proves Wentz was a cancer who drove the locker room apart
Imagine if Alshon didn’t drop that catch against the saints
No more Wentz, Foles, Peterson, Duce and Schwartz.
I remember rooting for the patriots this game and when they lost, bruh I was sad the whole night but now that I see this video, I see that the eagles deserved this.
How many Super Bowls are determined on the final play? Yea. Sure is my favorite.

@Ulysses S. Grant 50 was the first one I watched. I didn’t care about football until the 2015-16 season came along.

Rendezvous Dodado I thought I was the only one I'm obsessed
Hands down the greatest super bowl.
@Tonytheefly Cry pats fanboy
@Tonytheefly 0 punts, most yards in any Superbowl, down to the wire. Yes it honestly is the greatest or at least top 5.
You’re bias

The Eagles not only won the Super bowl but wow, this was the most entertaining Championship I've ever seen. I'm not being biased neither because I'm an Eagles fan. over 70 points in a Super Bowl. Trick Plays, last minute strip sack. The Eagles killed it! Philadelphia love's you Dougy P.
LayLegends Minivan Nah 52 was better than both those games
Joseph DiLuzio the most entertaining NFL game I may ever see. Congrats on the win.
LayLegends Minivan the TD to foles was a legal formation because foles started in the shotgun.
I’ve been an eagles fan my entire life, I was 14 when we won this. it’s crazy looking back at this now.
I don’t care where he’s playing today, he’ll always be Saint Nick to us🦅
I agree
Man, watching this four years later and I STILL get choked up at the end! GO BIRDS!!!
As someone from Philly
This was a glorious day for Our team
Let’s go Eagles 🦅
TNT Clan that was the point. People don’t pay attention. The OP was quoting the announcer.
#flyeaglesfly🦅
Sie So Burton is a starter now
Ya how is your team going this year
I'm not even an eagles fan but I still remember this as the greatest superbowl I've ever seen
One of the greatest games to ever be played.
This really was a great Super Bowl. I think it deserves more credit honestly.
Foles is such a nice guy, towards the end while huddled in circle he says first off I love u guys.
Even after a couple years now, after hearing “After review, the ruling on the field stands...” after Clement’s TD I still get hyped.
I'm not even an Eagles fan and this got me tearing up. The emotion is palpable
this is like my 20th time watching this. i cried like a baby when my team won.
Dawkins tearing up still gets to me. All those years of watching that man give it everything he had. Glad he got to be a part of it.
Also the Philly Special.. HAD ME SHOOK. Like "What play did I just watch man?!" haha
That was a special team, special season, and Carson Wents and Nick Foles rarely were off there games. Great year to be an Eagle fan!
The performance of that Eagles SB O Line was epic! They were the game changers. What a great, heart-stopping game! Fly Eagles Fly!
Beri Svensun same oline that is 7-20 vs teams over 500 with wentz
I’m a cowboys fan but this is the perfect underdog story for the most fitting underdog city, a back up quarterback back going against the big bad PATROITS and knock the out, David and Goliath at it’s finest.
Thanks man, coming from a Cowboys fan that is awesome💪💯
Its a good one. But I'd personally go with NY Giants vs the undefeated Patriots. I mean they literally couldn't be stopped before that superbowl
Tejan Doe respect ✊🏽
anthony read yeah, # 1 in a top 5.
Same I tested up
This video made one of the most epic Super Bowl match ups even more epic!
God, I am such a fan of the eagles, and I hope they win tomorrow against Brady
