idk man the canopy roll really saved me in a lot of matches and its a super simple maneuver, americans know they fucked up when you dodge their boom n zoom

@H-Bomb Pulling up is a very bad idea because you lose speed and speed is life. You become a sitting duck. Better to do a split S (rollover and pull back into a half loop downwards) as it is much harder for the enemy to see you. As the video suggests, a barrel roll at the bottom followed by an Immelman (half loop upwards) gives you a much better chance of having him overshot you while not being able to aim well at you.
Just lean into your instincts. You're a better pilot than you think you are, you just overthink it. Also, watching videos cant replace experience. @Pdor figlio di Kmer Im talking doing a mixel of rudder rolls and barrel rolls and changing direction when you have them off your flightpath. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_roll_(aeronautics)
I don't know if this has a name, but one trick I will sometimes do in a sim battle is intentionally put my plane in a flatspin if I can't get the enemy off my tail. Doing this not only causes them to overshoot, but allows me to escape in virtually any horizontal direction. It does use up pretty much all your energy though, so it's kind of a last-ditch effort.
@Bilack lmao thats my main reason for trying to learn it. Just for a flex, that and its really good like you said to cause an overshoot. But id only try it if im at high altitudes. That way i can immediately pitch down and get back to speed. Whether its a good idea or not, imma do it lol.
@Dakota Biggs i do that sometimes for show but i highly advise against doing it as it only makes you a slower and easier target depending on the speed and reactions of the enemy; it only works if your enemy is WAY faster than you or if your enemy is simply mentally disabled
yesss. ive been practicing forced flatspins and trying to combine them with other moves. like doing a cobra and forcing a flat spin as u come out of it. havent been able to do it in game though, still working on it.
Most important maneuver in jets: "Take off maneuver." It looks like it is one of the hardest of them as every match there is a 1-2 ppl crashing on both sides XD... But jokes aside. Side slip is very effective on head-ons also. At least for me.
For a maneuver to be effective you need to stay alive long enough to kill your opponent and not get nail mid-maneuver by someone else. Hammerheads in battle with other bandits around == certain death.
Acctually tip: I use the loop the loop upside (diving down not up) to get behind the enemy in the p-51 and if I over shoot I do an aileron roll over the enemy to show that he has to alt f4 if he wants to survive
In my experience rollovers are a death sentence. Unless you have significantly more speed, you’re tail is just going to get close to a slow and predictable target.
Loops are not just for show. You can use a series of loops to gain an energy advantage against a heavier opponent, or to bait an enemy for a teammate. If you get enough of an energy advantage, you can transition into an immelman or a hammerhead to stall them out and get on their tail.
On thing about the loop I learned the hard way. You end up lower than when you begin, depends on what vehicle, but I was flying at 30 meters above the sea in one of the American planes and did a loop. I ended about 30 meters lower than when I begun, quite a bit slower, my pilot wasn't happy and neither was the USAAF or my team
Well I can’t tell if this is a meme or not but the best way to avoid enemy fire from people on your six is which ever angle they are turning into, turn into the other angle. If they’re boom and zooming turn into them but stay straight, if they’re right behind you same thing if they are jack knifed with the cockpit glass pointing to the left bank right and turn slightly
My tip: Never do the rollover, hammerhead turn, aileron roll or loop- the-loop while an enemy is on your left back or right back other than that you can use the other manoeuvres that they showed in the video :)
When vastly outnumbered and out gunned, do continuous canopy rolls and let them try to hit u while u drag them down to the deck making easy targets for ur teammates
Something that can really help, is to roll over like making a turn, than pitch the nose down in your planes perspective. When the enemy sees you roll over, he expects you to pull the stick and compete the turn. But when you push the stick, his sights are trained on the wrong side of your plane, missing his shots and leaving him moving in the wrong direction
For bomber players, don't do any of this, because your plane can't do them anyway. Instead, switch to gunner view, try to shoot your tail to activate the poem gaijin has written for you. "The target is in the dead zone." You can read it while you burst into flames and falling like a rock.
@Dakota Biggs its a fun plane to practice stall and spin control .but mig are the hardest to take back control of . It Will sound wierd but I loved to practice stall and spin control in campaign mode .
@Yohanan Ilan Ilian what makes this funnier is, ive never seen a mig player do anything else besides these sets of maneuvers. Stall, spin, spin, stall, stall turn, stall climb, spin.
Something I discovered is that by alternating full rudder you can evade most attacks with ease. You’ll end up moving your nose into something like a crescent moon shape. As far as I’ve tested it’s hard to hit someone doing that and vice versa. But really you’re better off turning in combat flaps and going into a dog fight.
3:10 Incorrect about the loop, you actually need to cut the throttle in order to not blow up your engine on the way down, update 1.55 for the win, because it brings in temperature control for the engine, hence thermodynamics, you may need to let your plane gain speed a little bit, before you can increase the throttle. A loop is done when you go into the vertical, you are required to cut your throttle after exiting the loop on the way down, press the s (or whatever key you set for your pitch) key or pull on the stick, then at the top of the loop, cut your throttle for the way out of the loop, then once you are about 80% level, GET THE F*** OUT OF THERE, firewall the throttle until your at WEP (Afterburner for modern Jets, War Emergency Power for props.)
A trick I learned from watching the history channel, that woks, is to turn into your enemy, it reduces the engagement time, and is harder for them to get on your six.
Also it's important to learn and pay attention to where the bullets are hitting, because you actually can target the engines and all separate parts of the plane, obviously, just gotta understand the mechanics of the game. The aim circle that shows up when you approach the enemy (on arcade mode), it's only an estimative of where to shoot to hit the middle of the plane (not specific parts like engine on wings or wings). When you see where these bullets are hitting, and learn to move the cursor a bit to target the engines or the cabin, it's game over for the enemy, mainly if it's a big wide plane. Pay attention to that, if you use the aim assist (the circle) you will target the middle of the plane. When you use the aim assist as an estimative and move the cursor, you can hit the engine, the wing, any part... And that you kill the enemy way faster, and also will make you 100% ready for realistic mode. Like, when you approach a big wide bomber, it's better to aim at it's wing engines, but if you use the circle aim assist you won't target them, you gotta move the cursor out of the assistant aim circle by yourself to do that. Depending on the plane you are using, you can simultaneously hit the middle of the plane and the engine/wing (planes like spitfire that the guns are on the wings, will shoot bullets in 2 points, planes like some USSR ones, have all of their guns in the middle of the plane, so they shoot bullets at one point only)
Here is a good manoeuvre for an experienced pilot, put your control settings to full and and pull up, roll and use your rudder to get your aircraft into a vertical circle where your enemy will probably overshoot you and you don’t take much damage
better to learn on your own. I learned via running from people extremely close to the ground so that when ever they shoot they could only do so for a few seconds before having to raise their nose and regain altitude. dodging in between and over trees and houses has to be one of the most exhilarating things in the game
I love this game! I hope you will keep adding many new planes, tanks, boats, helicopters etc in the future, and update on the maps, grapics sounds and many more so that tje game will be 10 times more fun than it already is! I have played for 5 years and never get bored! I would hapoily pay to play this! Its historically, interesting and ekstreme realistic. And you get to learn things like this!!
I also have a maneuver for a head-on attack: when your opponent comes at you go beneath them, make them overshoot then do a half loop and level the aircraft by going left or right, now they will go left or right follow them, but if your aim is behind them, then I’d a half loop again. Get behind them aim and go to town. I hope this tip is a good one.
Problem with the Hammerhead or even roll over is you’re a sitting duck. It really dose not work to shake someone off your tail but more for engaging at an unexpected angle in my opinion.
Something I like to do when they're on my tail is decrease throttle half a second before starting a hammerhead turn, but I never use my rudder. I let it stall, which happens fast for the planes I use it with, then I just go back down like I was climbing over a hill. I'll either lose the enemy plane or I'll be on their tail
Another tip tail your bombers since they make easy targets enemies will flock to them and use stealth rounds so when they are focused on the bombers they wont see you or know where your shots are coming from
When I used to play WT for real (that was before the grinding, we could unlock 2-3 vehicles in one or 2 days without paying), I was a teen, I used to think about maneuvers and moves I could do to trick, attack the enemy... Some would really work and help me, some don't but that's the magic and fun, learning the mechanics of the game and using that to think something out of it. Now I play every now and then and don't have as much patience lol
I used to dance in the sky with my opponent when his speed and turn time were the same but gain a little tip to turn fast by speed and crazy flight in combat (I win in that fight by using P-39N-0 fight with P-36 Italy Ground RB )
Basically in low br the meta is energy fighting, if he gets behind you from an angle make it as difficult as possible by doing opposite turns to his. He’s to quick to follow your low speed turn
For the people in strike aircraft dealing with multiple opposing pilots, do this. Pretend that your on a track field. Start that maneuver of an oval, and once the pilots have been separated, take a shot whenever you can, and then turn back around. Due to common logic of piloting experts War Thunder, they will eventually crash into each other. After that, just fly away and do whatever you want.
Bruce! It seems you have your Voice back! Splendid! It is so good to listen to your Voice and hearing that it seems to be have the old strength back! Thanks to the gods!
@Bruce Grant I like War Thunder and here on KZclip i watch many War Thunder Videos. From the offical Channel only the shooting range. Why? Because i cant hear the Voice of Thunder Show. Have try it many times, but i dont get warm with that Voice. Your Voice is..... an other kind of it. I can listen hours after hours to your Voice and not getting tired. I hope we have many years with War Thunder and your great Voice at the shooting range! (Sorry for my bad english. I am from germany and dont have much chance to use it here)
If the enemy is at 1000m distance and gaining on you do loop it is the fastest way to get behind him and go full dogfight mode as he trys to follow and losing speed
Split S is one of the most useful maneuvers that beginners especially should know. Also, if the opponent you're sneaking up on does a split, DO NOT FOLLOW unless you're a Zero! Instead, go into a climb to preserve the energy before turning down on him again.
When i find that I'm unable to escape a boom and zoomer, i put my plane into a dive. This usually works phenomenally with escaping until i slam into the ground..
Something I use I fair bit is if you're in a turn fight and your aircraft has a wider turning circle the turn the other way and gain abit of altitude not much tho and then it's a head on engagement and this works wonders if you're flying something with Cannon's
Hola!
One thing you can do is what I call a "controlled flatspin" idk what it's actually called, switch your controls to full real then pull up and apply rudder untill your aircraft spins, you lose speed fast so it can cause an enemy to over shoot, while they overshoot switch to pointer aim to get out of the manuver before it becomes an uncontrolled flatspin.
Pilot approved. I'm finally playing this game and it's great. Though I'm on Xbox. I've noticed that I'm doing well in dogfights and am way more maneuverable with pre knowledge of extreme aerobatics and with realistic control on a controller. Though it's tough to shoot straight with a game pad, but there's way more consistent and precise controls. I'm going to try a mouse and keyboard next and maybe a flight stick. Though idk how good a flight stick is without feeling real time resistance and feedback. Amazing game you guys put together. Perfect inspiration to come back from a 6 year loss of general interest to play games :D
If we must split hairs, what you called the canopy roll is actually a barrel roll from what I saw. A barrel roll is basically where you roll the aircraft over itself and it ends more or less directly forwards from where it started, less some airspeed. It can be useful to make an enemy overshoot but at the end of the day, if you only move forwards, all the guy behind you has to do is wait and predict your movements. A canopy roll is a basic form of discplacement roll, where the aircraft displaces itself either to the left or right of its initial position in an attempt to either break contact or change position relative to the starting point. For example, doing a canopy roll to change position from the right side to the left side of your element lead. If you are following an aircraft, it goes as follows: If the guy you are following does a barrel roll and still ends up directly in front, that is a barrel roll. If the guy you are following does a barrel roll and ends up to the left or right of your aircraft, that is a canopy roll.
Set your controls to full real and pull a canapy roll, and u will find yourself in a controled flatspin, switch back to pointer aim to recover once the enemy overshoots.
Are low BR (2.7) bombers expensive to repair or not? I've recently started to prioritize attacking enemy bombers in the base gamemode so I am wondering if I should stop it or not (before I've started to destroy bombers, enemy team would win every time).
Packet loss is the best maneuver there is. You can teleport all around and be in one place even though that's not where you really are. Just don't try it close to the ground.
Just got this game and I can’t believe I never heard of it before!!! I love it sooo much . I think it’s because it reminds me of my childhood playing starfox. I’m working up the USA tree . Can’t wait to try your moves . Thumbs up
or when they do their unnecessary climbs, take the opportunity to distance yourself, so when they dive back down, youll be at higher alts than them. then use that opportunity to slot in behind them and unload all yuhh fire power on them.
I try to put climb them and take evasive action and dive and dive and fly as close to the trees as possible. Practice this if you get good you can find the right altitude and level you’re self out but don’t turn on cruise control
A maneuver i recently used was i dived for a some speed then pulled the nose back until i was looking up. The other guy coming at me was going to fast to turn around and chase me.
Aileron doesn't work like it does not help that much but still good. For me i would avoid my enemy by just reducing the throttle speed, therefore i could easily loose him and get on his 6ix
If you have air brakes you can put your throttle to 0 and use the air beaks yo slow down faster than your opponent can react that way you can get behind them
Sometimes if I'm bored and I'm in a 1v1 with another plane, I fly straight up and try to wiggle my plane a bit so I'm not perfectly still, then I hope the enemy stalls before I do then I'm behind him. Works about 1/4 of the time
Beginners tips: If an enemy Boom-N-Zoomer comes too close, toss your mouse across the room and hope for the best.
Yeah
Funny 🤣
My mouse broke after this lol
idk man the canopy roll really saved me in a lot of matches and its a super simple maneuver, americans know they fucked up when you dodge their boom n zoom
but if you really want to dodge a boom and zoomer, do a diagonal split s but make sure you use your rudder to turn more sharply
Tries to do a loop and a hammerhead:
G17-G-22-Right wing broken-Pilot unconscious-Maximum velocity slow down-Critic velocity aim the nose down-Left wing broken-Tail broken-Landing gear broken-Flaps broken
You forgot asymmetric flap extension
MEMORIES BROKEN
no thats when you get hit by flak/a B-17 Flying fortress and your plane plummets
j-out lol
Heart broken
Gaijin: here’s a useful set of maneuvers to use in combat...
Jet: Does maneuver
Also jet: *explodes*
POV: Flatspin
I tried to do a maneuver with my Spitfire.
After that it was flat spinning.
@Gary Schwab hello ur kumputor has vairos
especially with the cobra
I'll just try a light split-s aaaand my wings are gone
Everyone literatly 10 mins later after watching this video :
*YOU WILL LEAVE YOUR AIRCRAFT IN 3 ...*
@blaze smooth my pilots start blacking out at 7 or 9
*REDUCE SPEED*
YOU GOT A HOLE IN YOUR RIGHT WING ( also nice pfp)
@katakan saya ganteng dl d
So true that's why I made my own maneuvers
Summary:
0:34 -Aileron Roll
1:09 -Canopy Roll
1:53 -Split
2:18 -Immelman Turn
2:56 -Loop-the-loop
3:18 -Rollover
4:06 -Hammerhead Turn
Rear Attack- Split into barrel roll then immelman Turn.
Head on Attack- Small dive then canopy roll, when enemy passes you do hammerhead turn.
Split is good for boom and zoom.
Extra: not for jets
Special unknown technique known by only veterans that I suggest people try - hold j for 3 seconds
JESUS CHRIST, IT WORKS. Every time i see an enemy shooting at me i do this, haven’t been shut down since
My tactic is when im loosing I'll click alt&f4
@Luís Gustavo I always feel bad when i see someone rip their wings im like rip poor guy maybe i shoulda let him ground pound first.
I love this one!
That trick me for a sec
If you’re out of ammo and you have zero chance of returning to the base, slam your aircraft into the enemy. Usually a Plane doesn’t fair well when hit with another plane.

@Körvmästaren bro my hurricane had no wings and was able to fly for 2 or 3 mins after it finally crashed

I learned that the hard way after a friendly slammed into me
Whether you get the kill is another issue
Mannock's rules, number 14:

"bullets are faster than airplanes."
*Not with that attitude*
@Koty playing as a bf109 upward vertical escapes are really good . The enemy is forced to push their nose down allowing the 109 to get on its tale .
but mind is faster than bollet
unless going a little faster then mach 1
Say that to Hellcats fighters during the Pacific war
There's minimal annoying fact.
The over-Gforce-knockedout.
@Standard HEAT-FS one of my pilots only pass out at 11g
upgrade your pilot
Tham ska Everyone does this already. It just takes years to upgrade and doesn't do anything until you've got 1000 hours of playtime to fully upgrade it lol.
@Spartaninaction Lol
@Pedro Sabino huh math in gaming i see we cant even escape it :P
And what about that totally real Red Tails maneuver, the "Little trick I learned" ?
@Sir Illuminar The Valiant ah yes the one where the plane stops mid air and uses the torque of the engine to spin it around.
@LatinPassion That’s a lovely username…
Ahh yes doing a cobra in a p-51 works every time
@Dynasty0612 Believe I saw it on one dogfights episode.
its possible in arcade mode with jets, just don't try it in realistic u will rip ur wings of, telling u by experience.
Gaijin: Combining maneuvers into complex ones is very crucial in combat
P-47: *haha no*
@Slayingkie a fighter that climbs high and dives on enemies to kill them
You were at 69 likes I am the 70th like
Your welcome ^^
@Kai Burns YOOOOOOOOOOO
Ah yes, the countless times where some P-47 player attempts to turnfight what would otherwise be an outright inferior plane is hilarious.
Jasper Barnes Well the P-40F is actually a really really good dogfighter, when you engage combat flaps and and cut engine you can pull a 180 in about 3ish seconds if you are already at low speed.

Imma Do all these in a he111 for 5000 golden eagles
Edit : ok it’s harder then I thought
@Sith Rulezz god no
@Blue Fox b29 will end up costing him 500k in order to repair it enough times to get it right
Gonna try this in an F222.2
Try it in B29
Did you do it?

Special Maneuver when a zero is on ur six:

Nice try
@Elliot Barnard lol
Lol true or just go up or down or press J for 3 sec before he gets u!
Or go face first on mother earth!
I mean it’ll yield the same results
@Venezuela Animations because he has a neckbeard
Spinning is a good trick right ?
*gets blown up
immediately*
I’ll try spinning! That’s a good trick!
I usually spin into a shot to the face ..... pilot is unconscious
@Corona Cure Are you perhaps referring to the snap roll? I have problems opening links on this rig.
@Pdor figlio di Kmer Im talking doing a mixel of rudder rolls and barrel rolls and changing direction when you have them off your flightpath. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slow_roll_(aeronautics)
@Corona Cure That's called a feint, and can be pulled off with almost any and all the aerobatic manoeuvres.

"TUUUURN TUUUURN TUUUURN"
Zero players be like
This works best when flying with 109
the well classic: both of you end up doing loops for a full minute slowly inching closer until a teammate bodies you

@Matrix AM it was a joke
I did that and one person on the enemy team was legitimately concerned

Something that can really help, is to roll over like making a turn, than pitch the nose down in your planes perspective.
When the enemy sees you roll over, he expects you to pull the stick and compete the turn. But when you push the stick, his sights are trained on the wrong side of your plane, missing his shots and leaving him moving in the wrong direction
1:13 Gaijin: While your aircraft still exists,
Me, getting my tail blown off everytime a 20mm scratches my plane: ok
minengeschoss has entered the chat
For bomber players, don't do any of this, because your plane can't do them anyway. Instead, switch to gunner view, try to shoot your tail to activate the poem gaijin has written for you. "The target is in the dead zone." You can read it while you burst into flames and falling like a rock.
And theres me who recharges 2 times to take down a bomber
When jet players try to do some canopy roll maneuver..
*WING CUT OFF*
@Dakota Biggs its a fun plane to practice stall and spin control .but mig are the hardest to take back control of .
@Dakota Biggs
Mig player motto: stall and spin are my life XD .
if ur in a mig, wings arent needed.
@Ayy Lmao Really? I can turn faster than J21 with my sweet A6M2 Mod 11 to be honest I killed J21 more Than I got killed by it with The Zero Planes.
If you are fighting more inexperienced opponents, you can draw a 8 or a ∞ with your cursor, it usually saves you enough time to run back to your team
Stall-climbs are useful as well, especially against aircraft that lose energy quickly and/or your aircraft can gain speed significantly faster.
A loop is done when you go into the vertical, you are required to cut your throttle after exiting the loop on the way down, press the s (or whatever key you set for your pitch) key or pull on the stick, then at the top of the loop, cut your throttle for the way out of the loop, then once you are about 80% level, GET THE F*** OUT OF THERE, firewall the throttle until your at WEP (Afterburner for modern Jets, War Emergency Power for props.)
the loop de loop is actually a great combat manouver when someones behind you and youre diving
A trick I learned from watching the history channel, that woks, is to turn into your enemy, it reduces the engagement time, and is harder for them to get on your six.
Russian pilot disaproves

You can use the loop-the-loop to reposition your sights quickly on a tank in Ground RB of a bomber you overshot.
If you got a jet with very good manouverability do the cobra manouver: at 400 km/h press in one time the S and E button! Enjoy it :)
Depending on the plane you are using, you can simultaneously hit the middle of the plane and the engine/wing (planes like spitfire that the guns are on the wings, will shoot bullets in 2 points, planes like some USSR ones, have all of their guns in the middle of the plane, so they shoot bullets at one point only)
You should do a Aerobatic maneuvers guide on evading missiles on this channel, it will greatly help.
The loopty loop is able to be a combat Maneuver Because the loopy loop can help you get behind the enemy aircraft
This works...
Until your flying a tier 2 truck with wings.
Especially a huge hidroplane with max 300km/h and stall at 250
Pby be like
Here is a good manoeuvre for an experienced pilot, put your control settings to full and and pull up, roll and use your rudder to get your aircraft into a vertical circle where your enemy will probably overshoot you and you don’t take much damage
better to learn on your own.
“Tries to do hammerhead with bf 109”: starts doing canopy roll
Something I like to do when they're on my tail is decrease throttle half a second before starting a hammerhead turn, but I never use my rudder. I let it stall, which happens fast for the planes I use it with, then I just go back down like I was climbing over a hill. I'll either lose the enemy plane or I'll be on their tail
I feel like I’ve used all these moves but never wondered about them until now😇
Pro tip for whenever a p400 or Spitfire is on your tail:
Step 1: Hope that you are close to your airfield
Another tip tail your bombers since they make easy targets enemies will flock to them and use stealth rounds so when they are focused on the bombers they wont see you or know where your shots are coming from
The high and low yo-yos are incredibly useful when in a turning fight. That's my main tip.
No premiums, and good advice... thumbs up!
If you want to do an immelman Turn its better to do it a bit more sideways because you save then a bit more speed.
I am from germany and dont have much chance to use it here)
Thanks muchly for your kind comment!
@LondonBerry true but i still follow knowing i have a squad mate just there waiting.
@//// it's a good offensive maneuver and a good defensive maneuver too. It's very versatile which is what makes it so useful imo.
But that's if your boom n zooming
When i find that I'm unable to escape a boom and zoomer, i put my plane into a dive.
This usually works phenomenally with escaping until i slam into the ground..
Something I use I fair bit is if you're in a turn fight and your aircraft has a wider turning circle the turn the other way and gain abit of altitude not much tho and then it's a head on engagement and this works wonders if you're flying something with Cannon's
Hola!
Tip: turn off engine (0 throttle) gears down landing flaps start wobbling and spinning and wait for the zero at your 6 to smash into you
Ngl I kinda needed this to learn the names of the manoeuvres haha
Same, lol!
Hi spitflyer!!
@Metrallaroja or those videos havent be seen/ the game got changed where the video is no longer useful
“Loop with a turn”
@Toshio Thunder you dont live in America if you call it the "states" fake gamer
also a very useful manouver in a conbat situation when someone is on your tail its called alt-f4 where you hold alt and click f4
Im watching this while playing
War thunder and its very helpful
Also the first maneuver i always do to dodge enemy fire :l
0:36 Spitfire has left the chat.
Lol
TheEpicBirb Yes, that is a P-51, but unlike it, early Spitfires cannot do an aileron roll, as it will cause the engine to die out.
@Lucky I dunno mate I play Japan, and I am here to say you should too
Also how do I Russian
Wing cut off
Set your controls to full real and pull a canapy roll, and u will find yourself in a controled flatspin, switch back to pointer aim to recover once the enemy overshoots.
You could practice these in test flights so that you don't risk getting shot.
Are low BR (2.7) bombers expensive to repair or not? I've recently started to prioritize attacking enemy bombers in the base gamemode so I am wondering if I should stop it or not (before I've started to destroy bombers, enemy team would win every time).
👌Please make a video showing these, and a few additional, manevuers performed (shown) in/for each flight mode.
Thanks... ✌
as a tanker, i remember the good of time of me learning all of those stuff by reading on the internet, welldone guys!
I´m kinda sad there wasn´t a flat spin :C
As a ho-229 player the word "flat", followed by "spin" immediately instills me with feelings of dread and helplessness
@Gergely Nemzecski but you can switch to full realistic controls by a hotkey and then its easy :)
The instructor makes it very hard to do
Hello Gaijin, are you gonna go over more advanced aerobatic maneuvers as well?
The funny thing is in most of these maneuvers the pilot gets knocked out because of the g force
Packet loss is the best maneuver there is. You can teleport all around and be in one place even though that's not where you really are. Just don't try it close to the ground.
The missile knows where it is...
Lets Be Honest , this is the player base that takes the dev tips because they are actually useful
Just got this game and I can’t believe I never heard of it before!!! I love it sooo much . I think it’s because it reminds me of my childhood playing starfox. I’m working up the USA tree . Can’t wait to try your moves . Thumbs up
How's it going for you?
*presses f*
1 min later:
"Wait, why am I losing altitude?"
What does F do? I use controller
my dumbass had to sit here for a few seconds and think about this.
Pro tip in a dogfight against a bf 109 or spitfire: *hold page down/up when turning and hope for the best*
or when they do their unnecessary climbs, take the opportunity to distance yourself, so when they dive back down, youll be at higher alts than them. then use that opportunity to slot in behind them and unload all yuhh fire power on them.
When going head-on in RB if your enemy shoots just hold Q or E for like 2 seconds and you probably won't get hit
when I'm flying a very manoeuvrable plane, I do a loop-a-loop to get on enemy's six
Try pulling one of those in realistic/simulator
arcade player
A loop a loop can be used to repeatly bomb or fire at ground targets however if you do it for for to long you'll eventualy crash into the ground.
If you have air brakes you can put your throttle to 0 and use the air beaks yo slow down faster than your opponent can react that way you can get behind them
Most times if you have air brakes you also contend with guided missiles, making such effort fruitless.
Sometimes if I'm bored and I'm in a 1v1 with another plane, I fly straight up and try to wiggle my plane a bit so I'm not perfectly still, then I hope the enemy stalls before I do then I'm behind him. Works about 1/4 of the time
