Louise must have made this talk about 26 years ago. First ime i've ever come accross it. I'm just a couple of years older than she was then and I know she would love how people are ageing these days. I'm 71, super fit and healthy in mind body and spirit. I exercise everyday, either yoga, power lifting or cycling and i walk at least10,000 steps everyday. Up unti i was 50 my weight went up and down like a yoyo, emotional eater, but i was always somewhere on the obesity scale. I'm now less than half what I was when I was at my heaviest. 125kg!! I'm now about 59kg and have been for the past 20 years. The weight began to fall away as I began unpacking all the shame i carried from the abuse i suffered as a child. And I've got Louise to thank for a lot of this. I found her book 'You Can Heal Your Life' in my sisters things after she died of breast cance at age 53! I still have that book, its falling apart but its so very special to me. Its been opened many hundreds of times by myself and my son and some of my close freinds. The book really helped me understand why my sister died so young. Louise taught me about the connection between spirit, mind and body and it really helped me. Ive also had over 20 years of in depth therapy, again inspired in part by Louises story. So yeah life is great now. I'm a solo traveller and ive been on every continent except antartica over the past 20 year. I'm from NZ but I live alone in Thailand for six months of the year. And ive created this life without doing almost any formal work. Like Louise I had a very rough start in life. Began digging my way out of that big dark hole in my early 30's and started healing myself with a passion. Been on that journey for the past 40 years and i'm still healing! Not long after I began that journey I found Law of Attraction and life has continued to get better and better ever since. I still listen to one of Louises affirmation talks almost every morning. I love 101 power thoughts!! I'd love to write to Louise and tell her how much she helped me along my journey but somehow i think she probably knows! I'm looking at her darling face now, the image thats on 101 power thoughts. Her face is totally telling me she knows! Much love to you all!

Her book started me on my conscious spiritual journey. It opened door after door. We even shared a birthday, 10/08. Her voice is so comforting and I miss her in the world.
I was diagnosed with schizophrenia 10 yrs ago. I never believed it. I thought it was something spiritual. I've been trying to work on my thinking ever since and have been ever so slowly getting better. Recently i have seen great improvement by working on my beliefs. I'm hoping to one day fully recover. I mean why not. Anything is possible.

I met Lousie Hay in 2011, and she was very nice to me. I went to a small room where she was premiering Doors Opening again. Afterward, there were questions and answers, and I was surprised how many people in the room were angry at her. A couple angrily asked her if she believed their child chose to get killed in a car accident. Then another person asked if she felt gay men were responsible for getting AIDS. She answered both with kindness and tack. Finally, she was asked why she was in a room with gay men dying of AIDS in "door opening" - wasn't she afraid of catching it. She said, "No, dear, because I don't fu*k Gay men, next" I loved Lousie hay, and that was the last time I saw her; we took a picture together, and she wished me love, and I looked back as she winked at me. That was the last time I saw her. Miss her a great deal.
I'm gonna complain I'm leilana I'm miserable today the problem is transportation when I'm in crisis I can't even afford a standing scooter or bicycle. A motorized scooter goes 60 minutes is about 400$ I missed my chance to buy that .I need that and a bicycle and standing scooter . I'm waiting for my inheritance to be 30$ a day. It's supposed to be it's very tough to live on 20 a day. I need to drop off shirt to be seen for work outfit tomorrow it's my job to dress to impress and I expect 60$on Friday I wish more. I need two or three white collar women shirts a holiday sweater or two I need so much I'm very grateful I don't need to start till next week I want this to be permanent it's seasonal to possibly if I can get him the manager to like me then I stay . For me to perform strong I need clothes .so I'm hoping I have the ability to prepare ..
