Ronnies fastest 147, 25 years and no one ever came close...... Well I know that Peter Ebdon once came very close to potting a red in the same time

@Sven Red6eard You joke but this is actually true. Ronnie actually did make a 147 in less time than it took Ebdon to make one shot.

@Zaid khan Peter Ebdon is a great player in his own right and has competed at the highest level for many years. Often he gets bad press from people who don't like his playing style. Well he is playing his own game to earn a living and if that style upsets some people then hard luck. There is nothing in the rules that says you have to go for every long pot just to entertain the crowd.

Alex Higgins was so entertaining back in the day. A wild player, he just seemed to throw the cue at the balls like a madman and the most outrageous shots went in. Saw him in a pub in Padiham years ago, there was only him and me in, I didn’t bother him, he was reading the Racing Post and having a pint, waiting for his driver to pick him up. I always think its tacky when people get starstruck and hassle famous people in public.

2:00 how is this losing the frame with 3 points behind, is it because there's a foul on black and that being the last ball?
Compare 4:14 and 4:15 and see that the cueball was NOT placed back correctly... also the black ball is in a slightly different position.

    • Snooker hq
      Snooker hq  Ай бұрын

@Garrett1974 yes... There is only one more scenario If opponent is 7 points ahead on the last black then the black will goes back to the spot either you pot the black or your opponent even fouls...because this way the points of both players will be equal and there will be a final black for the results

    • Garrett1974

Yes the black was the last and whoever pots it, takes the frame.
