Realistically I think I could survive a solid couple months but I know better than to say I’d be a Rick Grimes of the apocalypse. Id definitely go down from a basic infection or something lame. Been binging your content for a while now and I’ve genuinely never been so obsessed with an art form especially with how (disturbingly) creative you can be. This is absolutely my favorite so far with the incredibly horrifying M&M in close second ❤️
i like the green ones considering there are 1up mushrooms along with the power up mushrooms. I love the tiny detail you put into these sculptures! Edit: you should combine the realistic mario creatures with this, it would be a cool design.
maybe even Jr. could be the cure... if there even is one... but, sticking with the theme of last of us... Jr. would fit the bill of Ellie in this universe...
I'd probably die to the first goomba I came across in a non-apocalyptic mario world, let alone a post-apocalyptic one. Amazing job on the diorama as always!
I'm fairly certain I would be the first to go in a post-apocalyptic world, and I'm OK with that. Doesn't seem like a great time if you ask me. This is such a cool sculpture, I would love it to even more pieces :)
If someone made a story or animated series on this, I would eat that up! Also your diorama looks amazing holy cow, I love the way you kept the characters cartoony style, while managing to make them creepy at the same time!
I absolutely love the design of this. I really like how you incorporated the mushrooms in Mario as a replacement for Cordyceps, it looks surprisingly freaky. I think I'd have a solid month or two in the apocalypse. I'd be able to find safety and set myself up with my survival skills, but I'm basically screwed if a crew of scavengers with guns rolls up lol.
I cannot say enough how much I love this idea! The thought that the mushroom kingdom could be affected by some kind of cordycepts modification of the normal red and green shrooms is beautiful, and I can only imagine it started with a special subbreed of toad. They ARE living mushrooms, after all, right! Also... FEAR LUIGI!! He shall fungi you all!
It's seriously impressive how you can be so creative with these sculptures! Aside from that, I wonder how destructive the last of us fungus would be in the Mario universe.
Actually, the mario universe takes place 10,000 years after the last of us, after the various infected species have re-evolved to human level intelligence.
I would pretty much die immediately in a fungal infection outbreak like that. But look at the detail in this model bro, you can tell many hours were spent into this work of art. Looks amazing, my guy!
Great sculpture! One critique would be that Mario's eyes should be looking more 'up' at Peach, this would also be an opportunity to make him look more worried/afraid. In an apocalypse I would survive a little while because I would think of an incredibly clever place to hide with whatever supplies I can quickly get.... Then I'd slowly die there. Awesome.
Love the work! Surviving in a place like this is honestly only slowing up the process of what will inevitably end up happening to everyone. I think I'd fight till the very end, up until the point I'd either be too tired, hungry and thirsty, or cause I'd do something stupid like accidentally falling down from the castle or something lol
stunning as always. been watching your videos for awhile usually when im doing other stuff because i find your voice very relaxing! but i love looking over to see a beautiful creation after every video, even if most of them are horrible monstrosities 💀its something that makes your channel unique! and im always looking forward to your uploads at the end of the week.
I love the storytelling in this piece, and how the question block is broken open, revealing the mushrooms that were inside and that likely "powered up" luigi
This story of them surviving all these other zombies and finally stumbling into Luigi and finding out that he's a clicker is terrifying. I'm impressed.
i reckon its the SMB version of TLOU, but if joelrio had decided to just take princess tessch, and gone after his brother. eventually they stumble upon luigi's mushroomsion only to discover he's gone.
How I imagined it: The virus pf mooshrooms from Minecraft infected the Mushroom Kingdom, now mushrooms are growing on living beings and are spredding Everywhere
Awesome work! Personally I really love apocalyptic scenarios so much, it makes my fantasy flow. I do believe I’d make it at least a couple of days, or that’s what I like to believe anyways, probably not more than two-three weeks tho lol
I love you work man! You have truly inspired me to start sculpting! I’m not very good yet, but I think with more practice, my talents will come to me. Thank you for always putting out good videos. Ps. I think you should keep doing more of famous shows. The Last of Us is great, but you should try Stranger Things and or some horror movie dioramas such as child’s play or something along those lines.
i like that you're honest about your hiccups and troubles; i know it's partially done for comedic effect but it's also really encouraging that someone as talented and skilled as you still makes mistakes and learns how to recover from them. i've been in kind of an art slump lately but binging your videos makes me more optimistic about getting back into it so i just wanted to take a minute to thank you
artists do make mistakes . even the top best artist in the world.. when they look with xrays into pictures in galleries there are painting under them. the ones they made a mistake on. mona lisa has a painting under it. I know i dont show my mistakes as much . but i have a box full of sculptors that went wrong, an i dont have the heart to bin them yet.
This is one of the best I’ve seen, really great job. If I were in this apocalypse, I’d probably die on the spot, considering that if it’s Luigi you gotta go against, he has some jumping skill. Or I’d live for two days, before wandering into a horde of runner Toads.
I love the ideas you come up with for your pieces. That's my main stumbling point with sculpting. As for surviving, I'd raid my pharmacy early, get as much canned food and water as possible get in the RV an drive somewhere weird in the woods and hope no one else picked the same spot.
@C I think chasing the algorithm bate it's a biiit too harsh of a verdict in this case, probably around 65% of the causations were just normal real life shrooms.
@Goat pepper herbal tea Yeah, basically what you said. I'm not going to condemn the guy for chasing algorithm bate, but no need to pretend he's doing anything else. Still good content.
Really love how the sculpt turned out! Although I’m surprised you didn’t make Peach the infected - since she’s the mushroom princess and stuff, and it’s the two brothers trying to survive Would have been cool to see her be a big mushroom infected monster (like the rat king or the bloaters in tlou)
I think I’d live like 3 weeks or a month in a post-apocalyptic world. With Mario, I’d live definitely longer. Hope I would get this art piece! Love it!
We thought of a story for this one Story: long ago, in the mushroom kingdom, Mario and Luigi were having fun with each other, both decided to join Princess Peach in her castle. Until one day, the mushrooms that the brothers normally consume, turn those who touch them into Mushroom Zombies, both of them were shocked and scared like none other. Unfortunately Luigi fell victim to the mushrooms, Mario could do nothing but watch as his brother was consumed by the mushrooms, with Luigi's last breath he said "Mario.. help.. me" Mario had no choice but to leave him, he ran to save Peach from her zombified servants. Years later in the future, the mushroom kingdom has fallen, while trying to escape, they encounter an old friend
So two things: 1. I am consistently impressed with how much work and dedication goes into your projects, and this one is no different- it probably tops my list of favorites! 2. In a post mushroom apocalypse I’d be gone in the first week. Probably the first half of the week if I’m honest.
Love love love! I adore the details you put in! If I were in a mushroom apocalypse like this one I think I would make it less than a week. I’d be another Luigi rather quickly!! 😅
As always another absolutely amazing artwork. I love watching all your videos so much you are madly talented Adam. I would say I would last probably a year or two... And kick some major zombie butt!! 😂
This is one of my favorite sculptures I've seen you make! I would survive only until I encountered an infected. I can't jump high enough to stomp them like Mario would.
Thank you for this amazing creation Adam. Your videos cure my anxiety and I can’t wait to see your next video. I was wondering if you find yourself wanting to make another Mario scary creation. How about a Luigi’s Mansion inspired thing? Again thank you for making this great content for us :)
i think an underappreciated part of your art is the bases. your sculptures are awesome, but those bases are always more than a base- they're also part of the work, a background of sorts. it always ties the whole thing together and i think that's neat :3
I'd probably survive for a while. Just have to sneak into the secret room that has the shortcut pipes and nothing is programmed to make it up there. I'll survive off of koopa meat and sewer water. This build was fantastic, the attention you put into it even the small things like making the floor an actual in game texture, using the brick block you smash and the question mark cube. I feel like not many people would take that extra little step and would just simply use generic rocks.
With Peach, i think it would be worth stocking up on false lashes, which you can just cut to size- I'm sure they'd also make good whiskers. Also giving peach some colour on her lips might have helped feminise the features a bit more
Awesome sculpture! I always love your commentary and your videos showing up in my feed makes my day. Also love the fun things you name the video chapters :D Probably would die after running out of food and going out to get more if I was in a post apocalypse mario world; maybe last a bit longer with a baseball bat I have but not for long. I don't have a lot of arm strength lol xD
Seeing the iconic mushrooms of mario inrerpretted as a cordyceps fungus is pretty gnarly but so freaking clever considering the last of us is in full swing. Love it
Damn this is cool! Idk how long I’d last, probably depends on the circumstances of the apocalypse lol But I’d probably be set if I was as skilled at making stuff as you are! ^^
absolutely incredible to see a joke I made back in high school come to life unexpectedly ten years later LOL I like to think I'd survive the shroompocalypse but realistically I'd get taken out within a couple days lmao
This may just be my new favorite piece you’ve done (this is a tradition I say weekly). As cool as a post apocalyptic world would be, I’d probably be the person who ends up eating the wrong shroom starting this all. My bad y’all.
I would last maybe a day or two unless I had the fire flower....then I would be the exterminator, lol. Great work, man. You inspire me to learn how to sculpt.
To be honest - I think I‘d actually survive for at least two weeks up to a month. But it takes an awful bit of luck and one of those pipes to open my jam. Great design once again!
I would die immediately in a mario apocalyptic scenario lol. I am so amazed by your creations, you never fail to blow my mind with the masterpieces you create!
It always feels like too much wash until it gets wiped away, I love how wash transforms things. I'd probably just survive by getting a cape power up and trying to live as long as possible.
Long time lurker n have watched most of your videos more than once and they are always as amazing, makes me want to start sculpting myself tbh!! i think i'd last for a bit before failing a goomba stomp and meeting an untimely end !
My stamina is non existent, I could definitely sneak around for a while but man in terms of out running I would never lol Awesome build as always! You really inspire me to do the same :]
This one is definitely up there in terms of your best works! Super well done, creepy as hell and I love it. I think if I were in a post-mushroom-apocalypse I would survive about as long as it took to quietly sneak to the nearest grocery store, where I would almost certainly be promptly killed while trying to take the last can of beans or something by someone who wanted them more. C'est la vie!
This is a much more realistic take on the apocalypse scenario. Everyone always assumes that they're gonna be the main character when there's a 90% chance of being killed. You can be armed to the teeth and still be a goner from getting infected once or simply just being shot and killed.
Holy smokes that's all kinds of rad!! Thank you for sharing your process. As a fellow sculptor, it gives me a few ideas to add in to my own sculpts later on! I never think to bake individual bits as I'm going along hahaha I'd like to hope that I'd fair decently well in this scenario. I grew up on a farm in the country, so survival skills were embraced along the way.
The Mario Brothers, The Last of Us mashup I never knew I needed. I would play the hell out of a game like this. Because of certain medical issues, I'd barely make it a month. This somehow manages to feel frightening, funny, and tragic all at the same time.
Awesome concept! I was thinking it would either be Luigi or Toad. But it's kinda redundant with Toad lol. Your arrangement is tense and feels very true to the games
This made me dive into why his mustache is black and hair brown, found this from Miyamoto: This goes into [a] technical explanation of the number of colors that you could use in the early days. Mario was originally red, blue, white, and black. Maybe it was around the time of Super Mario Bros. 3 that we changed his hair to a different color. What really happened was that, when drawing the character, it became much easier to draw the mustache as an extension of the outline of his nose. Using that same color of black, we drew the mustache. But then we felt bad for Mario that he didn't have a distinct hair color, so we gave him brown hair.
I think that the strawberry jam didn't look dark enough, but despite this I still really love this craft, I think that it's super creative and that you did a really good job ❤️
This build is awesome! I've always loved the idea of the mario characters is a post apocalyptic scenario. Also I would 1 million percent get killed off very early if I was put in a zombie apocalypse
Well, considering most of the Mario franchise takes place in the MUSHROOM kingdom, I don’t think anyone would survive the fungalypse for very long. And if I take into consideration how quietly I can go up and down stairs…. I’d give myself maybe 30 seconds from first clicker-contact Incredible as always, Adam! I can’t even begin to imagine the kind of patience and determination it must take to make something like this, especially with all the little repeating mushroom caps
If I was in a group, I'd last awhile. By myself though? Immediate death lol The creativity of your subject matter never ceases to amaze me! Keep it up!
For some of us the point of to late to leave was several months ago. The way the clay is molded attracts us to whatever marvelous or horrendous creation you might mold into reality. Our only saving grace is these creations just go on a self to only be remembered through these very entertaining how I made this videos.
Pretty sure I’d die within 5 minutes in a post-apocalyptic Mario World. But the good news is there will be plenty of mushrooms for everyone growing out of my soiled dungarees.
Beautiful work as always I would either last 5 minutes in an apocalypse like that, or out of pure luck, last like 7 years until I inevitably tripped over a small crack and knocked myself out.
I think for the lashes, just painting them on could be better. Also to fix the dress I would drybrush it with light pink or white or just hit some of the higher areas. I mean, they are ducking down so maybe her dress is darker cause it is in shadow? Idk lol. I enjoyed the video and keep up the good work 😄
Adam, you are literally the inspiration for all the clay work I do, I base my art on using your style and I’d just like to say thank you for making so many amazing videos. Also, I’d probably last until the apocalypse was over.
I feel like I would survive maybe 2 days before I gave up and decided that it wasn't worth it. Being a mushroom monster sounds a whole lot better than just being a human who's barely surviving.
I'm obsessed with your videos. They're great for anything. Eating? Realistic lego man. Playing Animal Crossing? Minecraft world made of real dirt and rocks. Homework? Choo Choo Charles. Your resin pours are my absolute favorite. They're so cool.
Love this vid! Reminded me why I love miniature arts and crafts projects. I’d last no more than a week in the last of us Mario, fedra would probably bomb the crap out of wherever I’m hiding LOL
I think I would die from starvation hiding in a hole i refused to move from. Honestly, it's your videos that makes me wanna try clay sculpting, it seems so fun and so rewarding when you have results like this! Its very inspirational!
Awesome work, and as always love the content! I would like to think I'd last a good while, but in reality, I would probably do something stupid and give away my position in the first 24 hours.
MR NORTH I IMPLORE YOU I HAVE SPENT LITERALLY 1000s OF HOURS OF MY LIFE SPEEDRUNNING SUPER MARIO 64 I WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO BE THE PROUD CARETAKER OF THIS INCREDIBLE DIORAMA LOVE YOUR WORK KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO ALSO MY SUBSCRIBERS LOVE YOU TOO
I'm not sure why the editing in this video was different but I'm loving it lol. Every video I love what you make, and that's why I started making. Thanks for being an inspiration dude ALSO! I think you should make the Subnautica Sea Dragon. I think it'd look pretty neat in your style. Anywho, see ya next video.
Congratulations Nate Freeman! Yer are a winner! Sorry to everyone else. Unless you didn't want it, then... you're welcome?
Yay nate!
Where can we sign up for the raffle?
the zombie luigi reminds me of the creepypasta called I HATE YOU
Thank you
@Paul Likes Tacos enjoy your taco
It's so Luigi to be the one who gets turned into a zombie.
Luigi is too powerful for the zombie virus making him immune. Plus he can do absolutely nothing and the zombies would be intimidated by him.
That's sad to think about how Mario has to kill his brother to survive and to make it where he's not suffering anymore-
@Alex Central you haven't seen Mario Party clips of "Luigi wins by doing absolutely nothing"? :0
@Cherry Wintergreen When did that happen?
He
Turns out I *did* need a Last of Us / Super Mario mashup in my life. Always fun to see what you come up with each week!
Yes
Did you see the SNL Mario parody?
Adam's brain is like Halloween that never ends. Love it
Realistically I think I could survive a solid couple months but I know better than to say I’d be a Rick Grimes of the apocalypse. Id definitely go down from a basic infection or something lame. Been binging your content for a while now and I’ve genuinely never been so obsessed with an art form especially with how (disturbingly) creative you can be. I'd be the one to try to make people laugh in sad moments I would be like the clan clown
@AreGeeBee #0470 you sir, are a chaotic mad lad and I love you 😂
@cptsteele91 chainmail armor is always heavily undervalued in all zombie shows, you would become almost completely immune to everything
Should try playing project zomboid, Gameplay can start a little lame, but realistic
I’d probably be the negan of the apocalypse without all the physcopathy. Just the comedy
i like the green ones considering there are 1up mushrooms along with the power up mushrooms. I love the tiny detail you put into these sculptures!
Edit: you should combine the realistic mario creatures with this, it would be a cool design.
The mashup of Mario and Last of Us fit so well. Bowser as a zombie would be ao horrifying with toad as the source of the plague.
So*🍷🗿
YESS
Bowser is the ultimate bloater
maybe even Jr. could be the cure... if there even is one... but, sticking with the theme of last of us... Jr. would fit the bill of Ellie in this universe...
wonder what would've happened to the Koopalings...

Tecnicly in this mushroom kingdom zombie scenario there are no guns, tho there would be things like fireflowers, 1-Ups, and that sorta stuff
I’d probably die from something stupid, *without* even realizing there was an apocalypse
@Karen Augustyniak your doing better than me, I'm the bait
I’d have 2 days in the apocalypse
I cannot say enough how much I love this idea! It's seriously impressive how you can be so creative with these sculptures! Aside from that, I wonder how destructive the last of us fungus would be in the Mario universe.
It would be so bad considering there is a mushroom kingdom, power ups and toads!
@LEGO Captain Rex he pulled a whole ass ship upward WHILE STANDING ON IT
@Ant Pope An old woman took me aside and whispered it into my ear. When I looked back, she wasn't there anymore.
@orbrat212 source?

@LEGOlas so’s lab From Minecraft or from last of us?
How I imagined it: The virus pf mooshrooms from Minecraft infected the Mushroom Kingdom, now mushrooms are growing on living beings and are spredding Everywhere

I love how you’ve made the brick environment for them!

I always admire the creativity of your pieces and they always turn out so cool.
I was genuinely surprised just how great Luigi turned out! I've watched a fair few of your videos before but this really blew me away
I truly don’t know how you keep coming up with such unique ideas for your sculptures
drugs, lots of drugs. lol
@C I think chasing the algorithm bate it's a biiit too harsh of a verdict in this case, probably around 65% of the causations were just normal real life shrooms.
It's obvious why/how he came up with the idea, but still a very creative idea none the less haha

@Goat pepper herbal tea Yeah, basically what you said. I'm not going to condemn the guy for chasing algorithm bate, but no need to pretend he's doing anything else. Still good content.

I love how you kept the video game mushrooms and didn't make them like real world mushrooms. Amazing!
I'd probably survive for a while. Just have to sneak into the secret room that has the shortcut pipes and nothing is programmed to make it up there. I'll survive off of koopa meat and sewer water. Have you considered 3D scanning your pieces? It'd be pretty awesome to see them "up close" and see all that fine detail
@Bruno Coss sussy
@Gloria Mercedes Rodriguez Fontan little bit shady right?
thats a bit sus
...
Damn this is cool! Idk how long I’d last, probably depends on the circumstances of the apocalypse lol But I’d probably be set if I was as skilled at making stuff as you are! ^^
Your videos never cease to get a laugh outta me! Phenomenal work as always! If it were me, I'd probably survive less than a week honestly-
I have enjoyed all of your videos but this model is my favorite so far. Not entirely sure why but it just hits a nostalgia bone
absolutely incredible to see a joke I made back in high school come to life unexpectedly ten years later LOL
I like to think I'd survive the shroompocalypse but realistically I'd get taken out within a couple days lmao
How are you so good at this every video of yours I watch I get inspired to pick up some clay and start making random stuff. Keep up the good work Adam
This may just be my new favorite piece you’ve done (this is a tradition I say weekly). As cool as a post apocalyptic world would be, I’d probably be the person who ends up eating the wrong shroom starting this all. My bad y’all.
@Smol Baguette damn bro, who's we?!
It's ok tanner, we've all started an apocalypse at some point
Tanner: Whoops, started a apocalypse, sorry guys!
It's all good. We forgive you dude.
Damn it, Tanner, everyone knows not to eat the wrong mushrooms!
I would last maybe a day or two unless I had the fire flower....then I would be the exterminator, lol.
Great work, man. You inspire me to learn how to sculpt.
Hey Adam, thanks so much for the chance! I would'nt survive longer than a day or two probably haha, love the sculpture so much!
To be honest - I think I‘d actually survive for at least two weeks up to a month. But it takes an awful bit of luck and one of those pipes to open my jam. Great design once again!
I would not last a day lol Beautiful piece as always!
I think I would die pretty quickly by eating a bad shroom. Love this one!
I would die immediately in a mario apocalyptic scenario lol. I am so amazed by your creations, you never fail to blow my mind with the masterpieces you create!
Very interesting and inspiring !
Bro it’s ez just jump on Luigi 2 times and he falls into the floor
@Aaron G I am saying that if you played minecraft survival, you know how to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
@Peri Productions What does this have to do with anything lol
If you spend your whole life playing minecraft survival mode, you should be good, just don’t jump off any cliffs or MLG water.
love this one! Don’t think I’d last too long on my own.
It always feels like too much wash until it gets wiped away, I love how wash transforms things. I'd probably just survive by getting a cape power up and trying to live as long as possible.
Dude that’s so cool. The theme of the Last of Us somehow fits surprisingly well in the Mario world. Granted, I probably wouldn’t survive long…
Long time lurker n have watched most of your videos more than once and they are always as amazing, makes me want to start sculpting myself tbh!! i think i'd last for a bit before failing a goomba stomp and meeting an untimely end !
My stamina is non existent, I could definitely sneak around for a while but man in terms of out running I would never lol
Awesome build as always!
I never think to bake individual bits as I'm going along hahaha
I'd like to hope that I'd fair decently well in this scenario.
You deserve a gold medal for predicting the SNL sketch.
I'd like to think I'd make it a few months, but let's be honest. I'd probably make it a day😂 I love the continuation with this mashup!
I make bronze sculptures for artist, over a decade now and I make all kinds of stuff but nothing ever as cool as this. Awesome sculpture great job.
He knew that eating so many rare mushrooms could not end well.
This is one of my absolute favourites. I reckon I'd maybe last 24 hours
Well, considering most of the Mario franchise takes place in the MUSHROOM kingdom, I don’t think anyone would survive the fungalypse for very long.
And if I take into consideration how quietly I can go up and down stairs…. I’d give myself maybe 30 seconds from first clicker-contact
Incredible as always, Adam!
Beautiful work as always
I would either last 5 minutes in an apocalypse like that, or out of pure luck, last like 7 years until I inevitably tripped over a small crack and knocked myself out.
Inspirations like he's been through the apocalypse :o so real
I feel like I would survive maybe 2 days before I gave up and decided that it wasn't worth it. Being a mushroom monster sounds a whole lot better than just being a human who's barely surviving.
I just stumbled on to your channel and all I can say is your work is absolutely amazing keep up the good work
I'm obsessed with your videos. They're great for anything. Eating? Realistic lego man. Playing Animal Crossing? Minecraft world made of real dirt and rocks. Homework? Choo Choo Charles. Your resin pours are my absolute favorite. They're so cool.
To be completely honest if i were in an apocalypse i doubt id last much longer than a week. Great job Adam
SAME ever since i have been watching his vids i have wanted to try clay sculpting
❤❤❤❤❤
The classic question block from the first game is yellow and orange. They made the question mark white in super mario 3
Yes yes and agreed
@ApexMotion it's white bruh
Great work! I’d probably last about as long as the effect of the shrooms lasts.
Love your work man! That's badass! Probably wouldn't last too long but long enough lol.
As someone who played the last of us and Mario bros, this is a work of art
Awesome work, and as always love the content! I would like to think I'd last a good while, but in reality, I would probably do something stupid and give away my position in the first 24 hours.
god seeing how well he's improved on sculpting people over the years is really impressive
I would probably die in a few weeks. I have little faith I’d be able to fight them off 😅
Thats just what happens when your career turns into making creepy hyper realistic clay figurines I guess
This such a good idea! Absolutly love it! I'd last not much longer than 3 days... just about as long as my Duolingo strak.
This is so skilled it literally looks like AI art.
MR NORTH I IMPLORE YOU I HAVE SPENT LITERALLY 1000s OF HOURS OF MY LIFE SPEEDRUNNING SUPER MARIO 64 I WOULD BE DELIGHTED TO BE THE PROUD CARETAKER OF THIS INCREDIBLE DIORAMA LOVE YOUR WORK KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO

I'm not sure why the editing in this video was different but I'm loving it lol. Every video I love what you make, and that's why I started making. Thanks for being an inspiration dude
ALSO! I think you should make the Subnautica Sea Dragon. I think it'd look pretty neat in your style. Anywho, see ya next video.
