I have been a Dear for a long time. IMHO, Dimash's most beautiful song is Ikanaide. It is him, by himself in a recording studio...singing his emotions right into your heart. People don't request it as much but you might really love him doing the song "Know" either the "New Wave 2019" version or the "Arnau Tour" (vocalise) version. both awesome and really watch both because they both are kind of a different experience. And if you want tears, my suggestion is "Autumn Strong" from the 2017 Singer Show in China, it still makes me cry, as well as a lot of the people in the audience there. As far as Ave Maria, just another day for Dimash, singing for the angels. And no you guys should stay together and react, contrasts are great, the discussions are great etc.

I highly recommend reacting to Sinful Passion as not only is it yet another Dimash masterpiece, but if you wait to the very end you will see Igor Krutoy in the front row giving Dimash a standing ovation, and you will see Dimash share credit with the band that played with him as it happens to be the group that originally composed and sang that song. The only way I can describe Dimash's singing is to say his music doesn't just move you, but he actually touches your soul with his voice. When he sings, I feel it throughout my whole body. Since Dimash debut of Ave Maria I have noted in other reactions that Igor being of Jewish faith composed this version, Dimash a Muslim, the song a Christian Catholic hymn and the vocalize without lyrics was done to encompass all religions and cultures in a heavenly endeavor to bring people closer to God. He reached into our soul portal and massaged our wounds and elevated our consciousness. The emotional feeling aka goosebumps was that transformation. The long high note at the end was to bring you back to terra firma (ground) and close the portal. I am comfortable with this explanation on a spiritual level because Dimash gives "grace" and let's you heal even in some small ways. Each listener is different in their response, but the feeling is the bond. Igor Krutoy was a proud poppa at the end of the song embracing Dimash. Good review with honest emotions.... many wished they could feel this way about their daily endeavors so enjoy the ride. Dimash is the GOAT.
If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!

Indeed, that`s Igor, composer, who worked with Lara Fabian, Andrea Bocelli etc. More precisely, h e was looking for inspiration for young singers, and he saw Dimash performing "Sinful Passion" as a guest at the "New Wave" festival in 2018. A few months later, they started working together. In 2019 Igor stated that he made Dimash a top priority in his work. In the beginning he rearranged a few older hits for Dimash ("Love is like a dream", "Love of tired swans", "Mademoiselle Hyde") then he composed songs specifically for Dimash ("Your Love", "Olimpico (Ogni Pietra)" , "I miss you", "Stranger", and re-imagined "Ave Maria" for Dimash). "Ave Maria" was premiered in 2021, after a gap in stage performances due to pandemic restrictions. It was performed "thinking of an angel", bringing celestial gentleness and a driving beat (drums) of encouragement to a world that had suffered immensely. Dimash is muslim, Igor`s father is jewish, and 'Ave Maria' is a catholic prayer. They came out with a re-worked version of it, and presented it as a vocalize, no lyrics, giving it a universal dimension. I highly recommend “Story of One Sky”. It’s his latest work which he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music. It’s the most expensive music video ever made and it’s an artistic masterpiece.

Love your reactions to Dimash! I have two favorite singers. Dimash and Avi Kaplan. Avi is a classically/operatically trained bass. He had just been hired by the L.A. Opera House to be their principle bassist when he received a call from a newly forming A Capella group needing a bass for the NBC A Capella singoff. The group was Pentatonix and they won the event. Avi was with the group for 6 years but being a tender, gentle soul, he had a breakdown and left the group to the shock of millions. Not being a strong social animal, he lives in a cabin deep in the forests of Tennessee where he is known for sitting on his porch or back deck surrounded by nature. Avi is a fabulous singer and songwriter and just completed a 2022 world tour before Christmas. He released his album Floating On A Dream, this past spring and Shooter Jennings, son of Waylon Jennings and Jessie Coulter heard his music and invited Avi to his studios to rethink a few of the songs on the Album. Love is Like A Dream but really want to be blown away do his MV, The Story of One Sky. You want to see a little rockish Dimash , do Kieli Meken from the 2021 concert. The MV is in English and he composed the music, the script and was the main actor. Every voice in the video is his and it sounds more like 5 people. Kieli Meken is in his native Kazakh and has zero falsetto. Just a rock style vibe. At some point you have to see the pop, rap Dimash, the instrumental Dimash, the dancing Dimash. There is no end . Love Is Like A Dream , he is with Igor who wrote the song and it is just utterly breath taking. You also get to hear some lower tones.

@Killermcknight crying is good for you!! Actually Dimash 1st sings this on The Singer competition. If you ever watch the extended version (I believe you can find on Gloria Wu’s channel), he was sick & completely lost his voice. The day of competition he actually went to doctor & got multiple injections directly in his throat😬. It still was not realistic that it would “fix him”.. but the story goes, he’s a man of faith & that his voice came to him & mostly left immediately afterward. There’s even more clips somewhere where other competitors were sweetly giving him special Chinese remedies trying to help. It’s a performance where if you didn’t know he was sick & wasn’t used to his singing you probably wouldn’t even know… but then when you see his next level performance at his own concert, you can truly see the difference. So Bastau concert is the technically better version, & so epic, but it’s impossible to say you should see one over the other.. you should see both. You know his stuff is worthy of a second watch, so that goes for multiple versions when he performs the same song. I wouldn’t be mad if you ever wanted to do a longer back to back of the 2 versions & don’t think anyone else would either 😉 In my opinion it’s too much energy to try not to cry, & it lessens your true experience anyway. Plus- you prob got a lot of it out now! It’s in Chinese so there’s just the lyrics. But honestly I didn’t need the lyrics to be moved just as much. That’s what Dimash is for… if I were you I’d just embrace it 🤗 some things are just that special. He is a living legend.

You're right about Igor Krutoy, and he wrote this new "Ave Maria" at Dimash's request. He loves not having to worry about silly restraints like "can the singer hit this note?" It's holding his mouth wide open the whole time that most amazes me. My mouth would be too dry to produce any notes.

I highly recommend reacting to Sinful Passion as not only is it yet another Dimash masterpiece, but if you wait to the very end you will see Igor Krutoy in the front row giving Dimash a standing ovation, and you will see Dimash share credit with the band that played with him as it happens to be the group that originally composed and sang that song. Since Dimash debut of Ave Maria I have noted in other reactions that Igor being of Jewish faith composed this version, Dimash a Muslim, the song a Christian Catholic hymn and the vocalize without lyrics was done to encompass all religions and cultures in a heavenly endeavor to bring people closer to God. He reached into our soul portal and massaged our wounds and elevated our consciousness. The emotional feeling aka goosebumps was that transformation. The long high note at the end was to bring you back to terra firma (ground) and close the portal. I am comfortable with this explanation on a spiritual level because Dimash gives "grace" and let's you heal even in some small ways. Each listener is different in their response, but the feeling is the bond. Igor Krutoy was a proud poppa at the end of the song embracing Dimash. Good review with honest emotions.... many wished they could feel this way about their daily endeavors so enjoy the ride. Dimash is the GOAT.

If I'm not mistaken, this “Ave Maria” by composer and conductor Igor Krutoy is a work in vocalize format, completely unpublished, although it seems to be a variation of the initial theme (not the introduction but the singing part) of the melody by Schubert adapted to Dimash's voice in order to explore just as three initial notes and changing the fourth note to a higher note (From B4, A4 D#4 C#4 and B4 to G#4, G4, G4, D#5): Like a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (from dark to light)! It also seems to refer to the Russian V. Vavilov's version of "Ave Maria" (wrongly credited to Caccine) and work by JS Bach - Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, with arrangements by Gounod, which Maetro Igor Krutoy has a predilection for!
For those who like a more "rock" Dimash I advise the songs "War And Peace" and "Durdaraz"

One thing you will discover with Dimash is that even if he sings a song many times, each version is unique.
Indeed, that`s Igor, composer, who worked with Lara Fabian, Andrea Bocelli etc. More precisely, h e was looking for inspiration for young singers, and he saw Dimash performing "Sinful Passion" as a guest at the "New Wave" festival in 2018. A few months later, they started working together. In 2019 Igor stated that he made Dimash a top priority in his work. In the beginning he rearranged a few older hits for Dimash ("Love is like a dream", "Love of tired swans", "Mademoiselle Hyde") then he composed songs specifically for Dimash ("Your Love", "Olimpico (Ogni Pietra)" , "I miss you", "Stranger", and re-imagined "Ave Maria" for Dimash). "Ave Maria" was premiered in 2021, after a gap in stage performances due to pandemic restrictions. It was performed "thinking of an angel", bringing celestial gentleness and a driving beat (drums) of encouragement to a world that had suffered immensely.
Dimash is muslim, Igor`s father is jewish, and 'Ave Maria' is a catholic prayer. They came out with a re-worked version of it, and presented it as a vocalize, no lyrics, giving it a universal dimension.

I highly recommend “Story of One Sky”. It’s his latest work which he wrote the screenplay for and spent 3 years composing the music. It’s the most expensive music video ever made and it’s an artistic masterpiece.

I have two favorite singers. Dimash and Avi Kaplan.
Avi is a classically/operatically trained bass.
He had just been hired by the L.A. Opera House to be their principle bassist when he received a call from a newly forming A Capella group needing a bass for the NBC A Capella singoff. The group was Pentatonix and they won the event.
Avi was with the group for 6 years but being a tender, gentle soul, he had a breakdown and left the group to the shock of millions.
Not being a strong social animal, he lives in a cabin deep in the forests of Tennessee where he is known for sitting on his porch or back deck surrounded by nature.
Avi is a fabulous singer and songwriter and just completed a 2022 world tour before Christmas.
He released his album Floating On A Dream, this past spring and Shooter Jennings, son of Waylon Jennings and Jessie Coulter heard his music and invited Avi to his studios to rethink a few of the songs on the Album.

Love is Like A Dream but really want to be blown away do his MV, The Story of One Sky. You want to see a little rockish Dimash , do Kieli Meken from the 2021 concert. The MV is in English and he composed the music, the script and was the main actor. Every voice in the video is his and it sounds more like 5 people. Kieli Meken is in his native Kazakh and has zero falsetto. Just a rock style vibe. At some point you have to see the pop, rap Dimash, the instrumental Dimash, the dancing Dimash. There is no end . Love Is Like A Dream , he is with Igor who wrote the song and it is just utterly breath taking. You also get to hear some lower tones.

In 1999, there was an accident with a cable car, in which 14 people lost their lives. Among them are a young family who managed to hand their two-year-old child to the rescuers in the last seconds, but they perished. The singer and songwriter Han Hong composed this song in memory of the parents of the saved child, whom she later adopted. The song was written through the eyes of the child. @Killermcknight crying is good for you!! Actually Dimash 1st sings this on The Singer competition. If you ever watch the extended version (I believe you can find on Gloria Wu’s channel), he was sick & completely lost his voice. The day of competition he actually went to doctor & got multiple injections directly in his throat😬. It still was not realistic that it would “fix him”.. but the story goes, he’s a man of faith & that his voice came to him & mostly left immediately afterward. There’s even more clips somewhere where other competitors were sweetly giving him special Chinese remedies trying to help. It’s a performance where if you didn’t know he was sick & wasn’t used to his singing you probably wouldn’t even know… but then when you see his next level performance at his own concert, you can truly see the difference. So Bastau concert is the technically better version, & so epic, but it’s impossible to say you should see one over the other.. you should see both. You know his stuff is worthy of a second watch, so that goes for multiple versions when he performs the same song. I wouldn’t be mad if you ever wanted to do a longer back to back of the 2 versions & don’t think anyone else would either 😉 In my opinion it’s too much energy to try not to cry, & it lessens your true experience anyway. Plus- you prob got a lot of it out now! It’s in Chinese so there’s just the lyrics. But honestly I didn’t need the lyrics to be moved just as much. That’s what Dimash is for… if I were you I’d just embrace it 🤗 some things are just that special. He is a living legend.

They are very good friends, and that a wonderful team they make. Now Dimash has several of his friends and colleagues that work with him on his performances and what magic they make together.

You're right about Igor Krutoy, and he wrote this new "Ave Maria" at Dimash's request. He loves not having to worry about silly restraints like "can the singer hit this note?" It's holding his mouth wide open the whole time that most amazes me. My mouth would be too dry to produce any notes.
