I'm so happy they gave the figure so much attention in the update. Whether it be the new(and way less janky) animations, the improved ai, the revamped ending and the music that accompanies it,they did arguably the weakest part of this floor so much justice. This half of the update has just blown me away
Part of me misses the charm of the old animations, even though they were janky they felt.. idk, elegant? But these new ones are definitely a lot more dynamic! Also is it just me or does Figure seem shorter? Or maybe it’s because he’s more crouched now
I really like the new animation for the ending. The protagonist plopping down, covering their face, clearly showing signs of PTSD. And then, figure jumps down as a surprised, traumatized human being jumps to their feet in a fight or flight response. The animation for everything in this update is already amazing, but when the protagonist showed emotion and humanity in the new ending it really stuck with me. It brings to light how unbelievably horrifying this would be to a regular human. Many (good) survival horror games do this already, but seeing this in Roblox was such a big, fresh breath of air. I really cannot wait for what chapter 2 will bring.
The thing I love these new cutscenes for the Figure as it shows you how clumsy it is. When running around frantically on fire it bumps into the wall and in the elevator it literally falls off after pulling the wire into the mines.
I too, simultaneously combust into flames as I mindlessly run around hitting pipes in the corridor and crashing out of the window at the end when I turn on warmer water
I love how it has more emotion than the previous animation, it makes the Main Character feel much more human. EDIT: There, I changed the 'MC' to 'Main Character'
@Kiryu If roblox was a lego game, everybody would have the same body parts. Yknow, the claw hands and the other stuff (I forgot the name of the bundle) but there’s other body types you can choose.
I think the new ending animation looks better because when the elevator is falling the character looks scared while in the old one the character looks chill
This is so much harder than the older version, but I like it a lot more. I wish they would let you revive though if you get to Door 100, it sucks to die and then have to start all over.

@Tawkerr it’s way harder, the open space and the flickering lights make you not know where figure is, the batteries scattered are hard to find without guiding light
@Giovanni R Busacca was it even really a glitch? I mean I guess it’s true that the figure went to check the hiding spots regardless, but like I always felt it was more of a choice. If you were brave enough to run past the figure, then you’d be safe. If you were scared and ran back, you’d have to play the heartbeat mini game and risk dying.
i like that theres a little bit of logic to why you dont get attacked at all while powering the elevator and the new animations look a lot cooler and ik that falling out of window then reappearing a minute later seems unreal but its 100 rooms not 100 floors so realistically it could have been only a few floors and figure seems to have came out of a door that leads to stairs
Can't you just turn on that are said to be turned on? Can't see the logic behind this strat, other than putting extra effort. It's the same thing. (also if you say that there's more on than off, this game is based on RNG)

dude me and my friends were playing doors and beated doors right when it was getting updated so we were confused with all these updates but im glad it got more difficult on door 100 because it was easy
I think we should start with like half of our life bar And then if you had the herbis thingy you would regenerate the health faster while the ppl that doesn't have it would regenerate lil health per door
The fire made me think:”although for one of you. The darkest pits of hell has opened to shallow you whole. So don’t keep the devil waiting old friend.”
The end cutscene explained : so the player cries cuz he was so stressed out (because he passed 100 doors) but then figure comes up to strait up destroy the elevator the end
The ending is different now he comes to the door of the elevator and tries to come in and later he will jump out of no where in the roof of the elevator.
I really hope Figure running around on fire then falling out the window becomes a meme 😂

When I got to room 100 and found out I needed to find 10 different switches, I was ready to just pass out
