@The Amphibinator Um, sort of. The Rockets are a component of it, to bring down extra force. However the gravity hammer is designed to manipulate gravity in a way. You can see this in halo three where it can be used to do a bit of a gravity jump or throw your teammates across the ring in griff ball.

I don't think any form of electronics in the ball could survive the hit, but perhaps a drone high enough in the sky with with a ball that's painted with something that glows in the dark, or failing that painted with something extremely reflective and give the drone a spotlight. Just have the drone fly up high enough and in the general direction the ball went and you'd be able to track it down pretty easily as long as it didn't land under a tree or something.
Simpler and much cheaper than a golf radar or speed tracker.

I’m not a teacher in the traditional sense but do individual and small group tutoring for science and math subjects from grade school through undergrad (in my retirement). I love using your projects to teach concepts and also to encourage females to go into math and science professions.

Great & fun experience! Liked it! Can you try cannon throw of a ball having GPS tracker/ RF transmitter like ELT inside so that we get its trajectory and final location without visual?

I was hoping for like a GPS traceable ball or something. Would've been amazing to see exactly how far it went.

You could at least have somebody stand 450 yards or so away and try to see it land.

I think it would have gone further with a stiffer shaft instead of using a reinforced sleeve. A XXXX stiff shaft would have allowed you to utilize the flex of the shaft for more power translation to the ball.

I think it fell behind all those trees, near the base of the mountain because I saw it momentarily in slow mo after you lost track. I'm not sure though, it was too small for me to tell if it was a ball or not.
