Me and Jay connect on a level like no other, he’s truly one of the most inspiring, wise and kind people I’ve ever met and I think that really comes across in this episode. If you could do me a favour and hit like and subscribe, it helps me bring you conversations like this every Monday, thank you 🙏🏽
Oh my God , what an incredible interview. Two men without egos , and actually listening to each other without the need to dominate the conversation. 🙏🙏🙏
My 2 favourite people in the world in the same place, Steven Bartlett and Jay Shetty, I wish I was there in that room to have witnessed this amazing conversation, keep up the amazing work Steven!
Omg I talk to myself in my car sooooo much it’s the only place i can express myself and it’s how I’ve healed most my childhood traumas. So glad I’m not alone in that 😂 Great interview!
The spookiest thing happened. LITERALLY yesterday, I was thinking about two of my favourite podcasters who should collaborate & exchange ideas in conversation. And look what happened the next day! The stars truly aligned in this brilliant interview & I’m already excited about the convivial arrangement when Steven goes to LA to see Jay 💫
Quotes and notes of the podcast: "If you want something from someone else, first give it to yourself" "Can't wait to go through the podcast so I can share them"
well done & best wishes. Amazing the community on the internet, our Young Angry,Disenfranchised and unproductive young some of them could do with inspiration and passion well done again🤗🤗keep going you will make it
This is hands down one of the best Jay Shetty interviews I've ever heard, very deep, extremely inspiring and it was a joy to see the connection and respect you both have for each other. Thank You to you both for your genuine efforts and this wonderful contribution 🙏
Literally cannot express how valuable this particular chat has been to me. Jay always always just imparts SO much wisdom every time I’ve listened to him. Steven, you as always have the most intelligent and authentic questions and insights to add to the conversations you host. Also, did a double take hearing Jay say he talks to himself in his car. That’s literally been my self-therapy for the last 3 years - going for a long drive to talk to myself, recording a voice memo to myself talking out loud and going for long walks just to talk myself through a good or bad day. Gave me hope to hear him say that he does the very same because it tells me I’ve been on a good path in working on myself. Thanks so much for this fantastic conversation. 🙏🏼
This is my favorite episode to date, Steve. So many deep end surprising Takeaways. Man… If the two of you partnered on something together… The world will never be the same. :-) Keep co-creating please! ❤️
This message has helped me hugely its unbelievable the way i felt when I started listening to this powerful message I was very depressed and sad almost every day of my life for 3 years specially since lockdown about my son who is autistic and trying my best to help my son, just before I watch this podcast i was in totally darkness trying to find ways how to come out of this illness (depression) This message changed me completely now i look life in different way first thing i did this morning was to change my negative thoughts to positive, i went to the park and started jogging 🏃♀️ and exercising i came back home full of energy and vitality with fresh ideas and new expectations, I dont feel depressed anymore, thank you so much for sharing. ⭐️ Jay and Steven ❤ ⭐️
I love Jay! i listen to his daily 7 minute meditation/daily wisdoms of the day on the Calm app and he's had such a positive impact on my mental health and overall productivity/clarity. I haven't even watched this episode yet but I have 'saved' for later tonight :)
Can’t believe how GOOD this episode suits my current life situation!!! I’m at minute 35 but have to say: thank you two for this!!!!! Greetings from Berlin, Germany 💜
I've always loved Jay since I started reading his book, my life was really miserable having a deep phase of depression. Slowly he helped me realize my purpose and I'm still on the journey to self awareness, but the difference is impactful
You've got no idea how powerful this has impacted me as a fan of Jay and fan of yours now recently I truly admire and have a great respect for you both In learning, loving, creating and launching something new this year and the thought of that, brings the butterflies 🦋 into my stomach Loved it and I'm relistening to this in order for me to go deeper and deeper into every principle, philosophy and details presented in this episode ❤️
Overall, Shetty argues that these three habits - gratitude, growth, and giving - can help us live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Thanks for the video!
Thank you both of you for putting this episode together. Like Jay mentioned that sometimes you need to hear things in different ways and one day I hope to share ideas that you both have shared with the people around me. So thank you for that 🙏🏼
I have always loved the ways Jay and Stephen so charismatically articulate their selves, so to have them both in the same space is perfect. Great teachers great podcast. Thank you
"The truth is somewhere in the middle" that was very profound for me. I think the reason why we think in labels is because its more comfortable. Another great episode Steven! and can't wait to see your show next Wednesday in London
*"We're a conversation in the Universe."* ~ Jay Shetty (What a unique way to see human existence and all that we are, love it!) I love how Jay questioned if he had married the right person, even after all the years they'd been together. It's reassuring to know he feels those same human emotions, doubts as we all do and that's what unites us all. That we're not alone in having those doubtful moments, and that it's okay. That it's simply a matter of investigating where those doubts really come from. Sometime we just need to get out of our own heads, and see the green grass that is already present in our lives. I found this channel randomly, and so glad I did. I'm a huge fan of Jay as it is, and finding another podcast with gems of wisdom is always welcomed
Great conversation btwn two ppl I highly respect.I have been isolated in a rut for more than 15years.I was abused bullied & when I reach out after so many years to ppl who call themselves professional reality have hitted me harder..,my naturally open & abundant heart have closedup & since that I remain in my rut,I need to know from Shetty or yourself how to make my heart open up again despite the tough realities of life,I would be grateful for an honest opinion
I had read Jay's book last year, and I loved the insights from this episode. Inspiration comes in many forms and this one was a great start to the week. Thank you for sharing.
I am really learned a lot from this episode , Its the best life changing session I have ever watched , Thank you Jay for being my Idol and Thank you Steven for amazing Podcast .
Epic, one of the best podcast ever listened to-Was really nice to hear him say the things he did about you Steven at the end. Both such a humbled touching soul. Read both your books & truly amazing written.
I feel like listening to this on repeat and I know I'll learn something new everytime!! 2 of my fave people online.. thanks so much for doing this. Can't wait to hear you on Jay's podcast!
I absolutely loved this episode. So inspiring and amazing talk. I listened to this when I was getting ready for work and it made me feel so good that I had a skip in my step and felt like I knew something about life that nobody did and that I wanted to share with everyone. I think I sent this episode to everyone I know in my phone just to invite them in to the same feeling that I got. Thank you Steven and Jay for an amazing inspirational talk.
I'm only 12m 17s in and I'm already taking a lot away from this interview. I really connected with his quote about making a sacrifice vs a transaction and how you need to give yourself appraisal before you can truly take it from others. I'm anxiously looking forward to finishing this!
Two of my favourite people,Jay and Steven. This is one of my all time favourite interviews you have done Steven.Jay Shetty is such a wise, humble and real human being.Loved it.
This is beautiful! Seeing two young men expressing themselves as they do makes me re-believe in love! Future husband, I hope you are listening to them ❤️
Hello Jay and Steven I so thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast. Most interesting to hear both you guys talk on life’s challenges. But most of all the joy you project. Blessings to you both and success in every aspect of living.
The bromance between you both is just 🤗. Although Jay is a household name of many years, I've not consumed his content as I 'wrongly' assumed it would be too 'woo woo'. As a weekly listener of DOAC I tuned in and I'm glad I did. It was good to hear him share his words in a way which I could connect with and also which were a bit of theory a bit of practical (not woo woo at all)... I'm now a fan. Thanks Jay for sharing your knowledge and thanks Steven for another great ep.
Being realistic in this moment , I haven’t had time every day to listen to both you and Jay, and that was a bit frustrating as you both are so informative. Today I found this podcast with you both in it, and I feel full inside from the wisdom shared. Ive relearned after a few tough days, that my concerns about business and inefficiency in a moment are both ok to feel as it’s just a short term feeling. When I visit the realities of how amazing things really are I keep growing 🎉
Genuinely one of the best podcast episodes I have listened too. The topics and the depth of conversation was awesome. You are both amazing people and listening to your journeys are a pleasure 👍
He speaks with such fluidity and it resonates so deeply..you can't help but know that he is tapped into a universal truth. Thank you for allowing this wisdom to be accessed
This episode is phenomenal 🙏🏻 huge Jay fan and him sitting down with you and hearing both of you was one of the most inspiring and motivational things in a long time…. Found a new podcast to enjoy and chance to extend and follow your content -first heard about you from Three Sixty with Krissy Cela and this podcast is amazing.Thank you and keep on doing this 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This was a fantastic podcast. I have taken alot from this conversation. Pivotal moment for me was Jay saying where you are in life right now if looked upon in the right way can teach you everything about your purpose. Light bulb moment! 💡😵💥

This was such a fantastic podcast with some really applicable tools inc the breathwork/meditation tips. Feel like I could be boys with Jay 😂 loved this episode guys big ups!

Another EXCELLENT interview/dialog between two inciteful and encouraging men who help so many. Lots of note taking here. 🖋 Thank you for being real, authentic, and open. We are human after all. ❤️
Beautiful conversation between these two guys. I think Jay Shetty gets better and better. He’s so articulate and so down to earth and open with explaining how he is also flawed and how what he teaches also applies to him. This keeps him relatable

This episode is phenomenal 🙏🏻 huge Jay fan and him sitting down with you and hearing both of you was one of the most inspiring and motivational things in a long time…. Crazy to see these two people in the same room since they do similar things and interview the same people. Amazing human beings ❤
Monday morning starting right.
- "You can't give someone a discount and then expect them to pay full price." So true. Sacrifice is so undervalued and relegated to spiritual spheres only, but it's actually a virtue we are meant to gift to one another.
- Your expectations from others inform you of your needs. How can you give it to yourself?
- Solitude and self-talking are highly overlooked. As a nanny, I sometimes struggle with parents always hovering over their kids. Letting them be with themselves and self-talking is one of the most undermined developmental behaviour.
- "No one fulfils the divine search". We are spiritual beings. Bible says that we are born with eternity( divinity ) in our hearts. Misidentifying religion and spirituality is one of the biggest invisible agents of personal dissatisfaction and relationships breakers.
- " What looks like a business on the outside is purpose inside", or when passions meet values.
- Being spiritual is not being poor, the difference is how much value we place in people vs things.
- I agree with Jay. In search of like-minded people or tribes, we miss precious experiences life can only give us through unlikely people, places, and events.
- "Meditation is an opportunity to build a relationship with yourself". Calm and the Waking up app are the best ones I've used so far in meditation. Highly recommend.
One of my top episodes so far.
Thank you, Steven and Jay.
This was such a fantastic podcast with some really applicable tools inc the breathwork/meditation tips. Feel like I could be boys with Jay 😂 loved this episode guys big ups!

Absolutely amazing, filled gems in every moment of this conversation.
Loving the diverse range of people you have on the podcast, with different views and experiences.
I cannot agree more!
I love everything y’all are doing!! My thing is if you are in situation you love/enjoy. But the fear of pursuing it because of past thoughts or failure/disappointment. How do we analyze and evaluate that?
It’s refreshing to see and hear two men being vulnerable. I’m a woman and I’ve never seen or heard two men having such a conversation. Well done to you both for being such inspiration to both men and women
"we're a conversation with the universe' I LOVE that 🙏🏻
