My friends parents were some of the trainers underwater and she got to be a stunt double for an underwater scene I believe for zoe zaldana. Her name is Kaila Krack she got to walk the red carpet.
First of all, this is the most visually stunning piece of work i've ever seen in my life and I don't think anything will ever come close. Not a single second boring and the effects were just mind blowing. But can we also appreciate Sigourney Weaver for a second? There's a woman over 70 who's determined to do all her stunts and all the things the rest of the younger cast do and she casually just learned how to hold her breath for 6.5 minutes. She's incredible and I love her to bits!
Wow, the amount of exercises in that breathing training and how much endurance you need, it's just so incredible how strong they became in their breathing. So strong.
Kiri face expressions under water were so joyful. I loved the scenes when they all smiled a lot, or when loak does his Stunts with the tulkun, this was so infectious!
I walked out of the theater after watching this movie in 3D completely entranced by this whole other world. I will forever long to visit Pandora because it just feels so real and so alive. It hurt being slapped with the reality that this world is make believe. James Cameron and everyone who took part in the making of this movie are true artists.
@Nether Gollum And honestly, I respect that. I definitely see that it is very similar in plot to the original story, and you know what, it may be a cash grab, but many people enjoyed the film (including me haha). But yeah, at the end of the day we all have our own opinions. I hope you have a nice day/night.
Both Avatars are masterpieces. The values and lessons that were promoted are what the world needs, especially in the West. Everyone had a role and a way to contribute, the family unit was valued. Themes of forgiveness, spirituality, culture, and care for the natural world were all beautiful focal points. I'll gladly wait another 13 years for the third installment.
Anyone watching this that hasn't yet seen it in theatres...DO IT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATRE! It's a great film & a great story but as a visual spectacle it is one of the most amazing theatre experiences of all time. Thank you & congratulations to all the cast & crew who worked on this epic. Off to see it a second time tomorrow.
@Monty Brewster Definitely worth the watch that many times! Wish Netflix would bring it on their platform now, I would definitely watch it again☺️☺️☺️🎊🎊
I went to see this in Theaters last night in 3D! Man it was such an emotional roller coaster and I enjoyed every moment of it! Sorry that Jake son had to die, but it was definitely a Masterpiece 💯💯🎉🎉🎉🎉
Its gorgeous how much passion the director has for his work. It was obvious watching the movie that there was so much fricking effort put into everything by everyone.
After watching this I really wished that this world is real👀 I just wanted to experience this 😩 After I watched this in 3d I just wanted to feel avatar 2 more and more😌😌
I find it almost impossible for somebody to not be even slightly amazed by this movie, all the work the cast, producers and just everyone involved put in to make it what it is today! It's just mind blowing. All these actors should win an award, idk if I've heard of any other actor working this hard for 13 years for a movie.
@Hannes nope, 3d it self is not a new thing, but that doesnt mean it can get better. Also I watched this movie like a month ago and the 3d look real good, story repetitive but visually good.
@Hannes so you just dont like 3d, that's fine. But calling it outdated in this movie just because it's not a new thing or you just dont like it...... Ok.
Best movie I’ve ever seen in my life. I didn’t want it to end I could of watched hours more of it!! I saw it in 3D and I literally felt like I was immersed in their world. Incredible!!
just walked out of the cinema with tears running down my cheeks. that movie was an EXPERIENCE. not only did it bring back a crap ton of my childhood memories, but it literally gave me tips to relieve anxiety (the breathing technique the clan uses) one of the best movies i have ever seen. avatar will always be my favorite
@Random Account I watched it in 4D just a few hours ago... That shit is so distracting, I didn't very like it, that's why I'll rewatch it today in normal version or 3D, I'm still not sure.
@katiluuux Yeah but making the villain come back for the second time... Having to fight him too times is more than enough, but a third one ? Not sure that I'll watch Avatar 3 or they better get some new story than Na'vi vs Humans because this is getting kind of old now.
This movie is a hell of a spectacle ❤️ to see the dedication that went into this film behind the scenes makes me have a newfound appreciation for the general production communities out there!
Just amazing!!! Now that's acting, for real! 😅 Can't wait to buy the DVD... Love Avatar. ...we are all in avatar's, the human body. Worth thinking on ✨💛✨
I was worried I’d get bored as it’s a very long film, yet in 3D with non stop action and incredibly realistic water scenes you almost want to just watch it again straight away.
IKRR! When I got back from the cinemas I wanted to watch it again but it hasn’t been released on apps and websites yet :( but as soon as it does I’m watching it straight away!!!
@MyFantasticNails No, I, personally, think that it’s better than the original, too. Perhaps we’re both being affected by a bit of recency bias at the moment, though, too! Lol 😂
It's very clear how much everyone, from the cast to the crew, love this series. The lengths they go to in order to make it as good as it is make that love so evident.
All of this just blows my mind - everything single thing about this movie is _magical_ What a luxury to be able to watch it, and enjoy all of this talent, from everyone.
I was actually a part of this whole production. We were in the Bahamas for two weeks filming underwater with some inventions that my company came up with and I built call jetovators It was super interesting
Every bit of the movie is seemingly crafted with imagination & creativity. Can imagine how much effort has put in to make it. I appreciate the professionalism.
The way how James Cameron ilustrates the bonding between natives and their surrounding, water in this case, is touching to say the least. Im a nature lover and this movie delivers the message: we never should disrespect Mother Nature
This movie is an absolute spiritual experience. I am very grateful that we have space for such an amazing, talented, hardworking people, who treat us with such a highly profound masterpiece of art.
I definitely want to watch it in 3D now.. I originally watched the first one in 3D and it was by far the best movie I ever watched. 😅 the second was amazing but I just watched it in regular.. guess I’m going back to the movies 😂
@Adam Holohlavský would you say seeing in 3D is a must? I watched it in 2D yesturday and I kind of regret not seeing it in 3D the way cameron wanted it to be seen in
To work with Camaron demands such commitment! He himself is one of the, if not, the most commited director I have ever seen. We are so luck to have him. RESPECT
Seeing these behing-the-scenes clips makes me want to see the movie as it was shot, with the actors wearing their suits, touching random poles and holding fake guns. It would be hilarious.
I have never seen such an amazing movie in my life... I'm amazed that so many actors have given such a good performance.. I congratulate all the artists that all of you make a lot of progress in your life.. Great work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
@Evan Lovell bruh, the fuck do you mean, its the best cgi ive seen my entire life maybe besides the new unreal engine. most movies dont use real effects anymore too lol.
@Blaze Light Mine wasn't iMax it was 4d. Normal cinema screen but moving chairs, wind blows and lil bits of water while being 3d. It's very good idk if you have it in your place
This is clearly the definition of passion and not focusing on the funds it's gon bring back. This is mind blowing and I'm a fan right from when the first AVATAR was launched. Kudos to the team!
my god...all of this is just absolutely mind boggling and i can't believe that they were able to make it look so gorgeous in the end. truly a feat of amazing magnitude
The amount of effort and dedication they put into this movie is absolutely unbelievable like wtaf this is one of my new favorite movies I love it so much 3 hours of watching is so worth it in my opinion.
I cried tears of happiness and sadness. Hands down the greatest film. Watched it twice, once in DBox and other in IMAX. Might watch it in Screen X also. Definitely buying it.
This movie represents more than a movie. It represents the love of family. And all the sacrifices one is capable of making in order to protect the family. Without a doubt this movie is my favorite.
When i see comments saying that the movie doesn’t have a good history … it makes me think what else can be better than the family’s love ? For that , we don’t need too much , to reach the point. I saw the movie yesterday and i simply love it…only who has love in his hearth can really know the message.
@Daniel Whyatt crazy to think technology is advancing so quickly that a movie like avatar won't take as much time to film in the years to come.... looking forward to the future of film!
@Curly Flow Actually 2024, so two years from now. It is unfortunate, but for this level of work they have to do, it only makes sense and we should 100% not rush them. We waited well over a decade to see where the story would go. What’s two more years.😊
I couldn’t agree more. I just saw it yesterday in IMAX 3-D for my birthday here in the UK. Saw it on a curved screen so that definitely added to the experience as well. I was so immersed I think I felt all the joy I had from when I saw the first film, all those years ago, all over again. James Cameron, all of the cast, all the artist, camera crew in technicians, have done it again and gone beyond. Can’t wait for 2024. my mind is bristling with ideas of where the story will go.
Saw it in 3d and it was great. This movie is really good and is visually unreal. Even individual water drpos were clear. And don't forget the score it was perfect. Unlike the usual loud over drmatic music in most action movies this was amazing it added to the dramatic need of each scene perfectly All and it was worth every penny to go see this movie because you can really see the high production cost on the screen. You have to see this movie in the theater especially 3d and Imax
I enjoyed every bit of the movie. Im so glad I didn’t have to go to the washroom during that 3 hrs+. Watched it on IMAX 4D because like 10 + years ago, I enjoyed the 1st movie so much that I had to do it right for the 2nd movie. It’s been about 2 weeks since Ive watched it and I’m still happy and glad it’s back, and being so beautiful
In this movie l mostly like the character 'kiri' in her avatar form .... because she is very calm and having overwhelming heart 💖 this makes her special..✨
7 minutes, 15 seconds.... Even the toughest men in the Navy Seals can do about half that time. Super impressive stuff! If that's not dedicating to an art, I don't know what is!
@Alistair Gill-Gray Because it’s what they do in Hollywood, exaggerate to create buzz around their movies. Relatively harmless lie, but does create talking points about a movie prior to or just after it’s release. Did you hear about so and so breaking Tom Cruise’s (name dropping the biggest star in Hollywood) underwater record? Please. There is absolutely no way an actor with no prior training can learn to hold his/her breath underwater for 7 minutes. That takes years of training for someone with unique abilities. We all tried this when we were young and I recall being able to hold my breath for a minute and a half at best and was darn near passing out at that point. You expect that she could go a full five and a half minutes beyond that? Please. It did not happen.
The best film ever made. Absolute work of art. Hope to see avatar 3 earlier this time. This film brings memories and teaches lessons. Imagine all tghe hard work and all this horus that were put into making this film. Absolutley amazing
I recently seen thus movie waited the 13 yrs for it I absolutely loved it.. alot the scenes of the beauty of pandora brought me to tears its breathtaking I can't wait for the sequels
Avatar 1 was made the year I was born so I feel like I have some sort of connection to it so I was literally ecstatic when I heard avatar 2 was coming out. It was the best movie I have ever seen in my life there is so much emotion and I love how much connection there is with the ocean I can happily say I cried 5 times during this movie.🥲 I love this movie so so much and I know I will rewatch it for many years to come.
I was waiting 13 years to watch this movie. My kid was 5 when we have seen Avatar 1. 3 days ago, when we watched Avatar 2 together, she was 18 😊 Both Avatar movies are the best movies I‘ve ever seen in my entire life! Thank you James Cameron for your incredible work that you have done.👌
Besides this movie is a true peace of art, Cameron managed to connect us to his world in a new way. The next morning my husband and I woke up after watching Avatar 2 we looked at each other and said ‘I wonder how they are doing there at Pandora today and what they had for breakfast!’ And it was not a joke!
I remember being on set for avatar 2 and I was amazed at the production level. The rest of the 10 years on set acting was extremely demanding but also so rewarding
james cameron is a genius, this movie is a masterpiece, the story is beautiful, the actors and crew are talented, the public is in love and this whole movie was totally worth my money. i went to the cinema with my family to watch this movie and i cried the whole movie literally.
This is truly remarkable, not only is the movie incredible, but everything that happened behind the scenes is truly breathtaking. Holding your breath for that long? Absolutely magnificent, bravo 👏👏👏
I don’t see this movie as a movie, i see it as art
Same
@damn daman yeah because you're somehow the authority on what is valuable at all
@SPidEy yeah I could
@Dan David lets be honest you couldnt make better.
Movies are art in a way
I loved every second of it. Every person that helped create this masterpiece deserves an award.
My friends parents were some of the trainers underwater and she got to be a stunt double for an underwater scene I believe for zoe zaldana. Her name is Kaila Krack she got to walk the red carpet.
Hiii
For me variable frame rate in HFR version was the most disgusting thing ever
Agreed
First of all, this is the most visually stunning piece of work i've ever seen in my life and I don't think anything will ever come close. Not a single second boring and the effects were just mind blowing.

I agree with all but one thing you said. AVATAR 3, 4, 5 will continue to reset the bar higher and higher, successively.
@mi ja what you saing? It’s russian?
Yeshua is coming back. Have faith in Him alone to be saved.
She was born to be an astronaut she’s fenomenal. Been watching her movies since Aliens
7 and a half actually! 😆
Wow, the amount of exercises in that breathing training and how much endurance you need, it's just so incredible how strong they became in their breathing. So strong.
@Angelo Ramen hm?
We’d be able to do the same but we under light code lockdown we got deactivated
i love the SZA profile picture dude
True.
Kiri face expressions under water were so joyful. I loved the scenes when they all smiled a lot, or when loak does his Stunts with the tulkun, this was so infectious!
@apple-sauce says you
@apple-sauce
Pfff
Ikr those were the best moments. ☺
@apple-sauce you're cringe
Was kinda cringe
I walked out of the theater after watching this movie in 3D completely entranced by this whole other world. I will forever long to visit Pandora because it just feels so real and so alive. It hurt being slapped with the reality that this world is make believe. James Cameron and everyone who took part in the making of this movie are true artists.
"Completely entraced?" Really? Okay then.
It exists in Orlando, Florida.
If Pandora really exists somewhere in the universe - I do wish humans never, ever find it.
@empty me if I was delusional
This is the entire reason as to why it took 13 years, absolutely Incredible
@Mara_ Q yep! and they plan to release it next year.
@Mara_ Q Yeah, James Cameron already did.
@PSYCHO ...............why is the spelling of things something that your having issue with?
@Nether Gollum Should've or should have.
NOT should of.
@Nether Gollum And honestly, I respect that. I definitely see that it is very similar in plot to the original story, and you know what, it may be a cash grab, but many people enjoyed the film (including me haha). Amen
you can’t say this movie wasn’t an emotional cinematic masterpiece
Anyone watching this that hasn't yet seen it in theatres...DO IT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATRE! It's a great film & a great story but as a visual spectacle it is one of the most amazing theatre experiences of all time. Thank you & congratulations to all the cast & crew who worked on this epic. Off to see it a second time tomorrow.
@Monty Brewster Definitely worth the watch that many times! Wish Netflix would bring it on their platform now, I would definitely watch it again☺️☺️☺️🎊🎊
@Aphrodite Bella🌹😊 I adgree, i wasn't ready to lose nataum this early on either. Glad you enjoyed it, i've seen it 4 times now.. Ha haa, i loved it.
I went to see this in Theaters last night in 3D! Man it was such an emotional roller coaster and I enjoyed every moment of it! Sorry that Jake son had to die, but it was definitely a Masterpiece 💯💯🎉🎉🎉🎉
71 and still kicking butt! Yes Sigourney Weaver! And what an absolutely breathtaking movie to do it in.❤
Yes what a legend she is.
Its gorgeous how much passion the director has for his work. It was obvious watching the movie that there was so much fricking effort put into everything by everyone.
This is not film it's another world ❤
@GrandMaster Yoda your life is sad then
Avatar is not a movie. It's the Grace from the God. And the God's name is James Cameron.
🥰🥰🥰🥰much feelings and such a amazing world with amazing characters 🌏🤯👌😇❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
After watching this I really wished that this world is real👀 I just wanted to experience this 😩
After I watched this in 3d I just wanted to feel avatar 2 more and more😌😌
This is insane how much work especially from each person went into this.. Impressive. Avatar is a Masterpiece
This movie has changed me in ways I cannot imagine. This changed my heart. This was pure beauty and raw art.
How? Can you explain how did the movie actually change you?
I find it almost impossible for somebody to not be even slightly amazed by this movie, all the work the cast, producers and just everyone involved put in to make it what it is today! It's just mind blowing. All these actors should win an award, idk if I've heard of any other actor working this hard for 13 years for a movie.
I was so blown away when I saw this movie and I’m SO GLAD I saw it in 3D. Those under water scenes were absolutely stunning!
Wow! I have never seen anything like this before. For everyone involved in making this movie.... Well done 👏 It was truly a remarkable movie🥰
This is not just a movie. It's an experience.
@Hannes nope, 3d it self is not a new thing, but that doesnt mean it can get better. Also I watched this movie like a month ago and the 3d look real good, story repetitive but visually good.
Isn't outdated and old pretty much the same thing? I would recommend you not to watch this movie sir:)
@Hannes so you just dont like 3d, that's fine. But calling it outdated in this movie just because it's not a new thing or you just dont like it...... Ok.
@罗念 there is none
@Hannes 3d outdated.... Ok give a good example of good 3d.
I knew filming underwater would be insane, but I didn’t know it was this insane. Props to everyone that made this an unforgettable experience. 🌊💙
This movie was so beautiful I sobbed throughout the entire thing. Beginning to end, truly a masterpiece. Highly recommend watching it in theatres.
This is not movie, this is masterpiece
This movie in 3d was one of the most insane cinematic experiences I've had in a while.
Best movie I’ve ever seen in my life. I didn’t want it to end I could of watched hours more of it!! I saw it in 3D and I literally felt like I was immersed in their world. Incredible!!

@Jina M.G.
Some people in my movie theater stayed during the credits like they were expecting some post credit scene like in the Marvel movies. LOL
@Random Account
I watched it in 4D just a few hours ago... That shit is so distracting, I didn't very like it, that's why I'll rewatch it today in normal version or 3D, I'm still not sure.

Worth thinking on ✨💛✨
This is it. This is HOW MOVIES, ART ARE SUPPOSED TO BE.
FREAKING INCREDIBLE

I watched Avatar 1 when my daughter was just some months old. Now I can take her to Avatar 2 with me. What a masterpiece!
The beauty in this movie was just out of this world. I found myself crying sometimes out of the gorgeousness
@empty 🥺🥺
Our Earth is much prettier than Pandora sadly it has humans on it.
Really good. They made this movie from the bottom of their hearts and not just only for business.
Avatar is not a movie. It's the Grace from the God. And the God's name is James Cameron.
Then why couldn't they write a good story?
YES! I AGREE
@Matthew Lawson bruh chill out the guy said lol cus its true, bro pulls out a whole dictionary.

Great work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
The underwater scenes on Imax is so amazing. Never seen it on other movies who are overly fake CGI effects.
Avatar is not a movie. It's the Grace from the God. And the God's name is James Cameron.

It's not just a movie It's a feeling 😌 ✨
The acting is one thing but the CGI Department in my opinion is so underappreciated. I simply cannot believe how they pulled this off.
This is just pure talent and ART, not just another movie
You can tell they worked very hard
Pure brilliance, beautiful heartfelt movie
This is clearly the definition of passion and not focusing on the funds it's gon bring back.
This is mind blowing and I'm a fan right from when the first AVATAR was launched.
Kudos to the team!
Agree 💯
Brilliant! Stunning! The most spectacular visual movie of all times! ❤❤❤❤❤
I don’t see this movie as a movie, i see it as art. This is the entire reason as to why it took 13 years, absolutely Incredible😍😘
I can't express how much of hardwork they have put in to make this beautiful masterpiece movie
my god...all of this is just absolutely mind boggling and i can't believe that they were able to make it look so gorgeous in the end. truly a feat of amazing magnitude
The amount of effort and dedication they put into this movie is absolutely unbelievable like wtaf this is one of my new favorite movies I love it so much 3 hours of watching is so worth it in my opinion.
Watched it in cinema yesterday and have to say it’s the best movie I’ve ever seen. So much attention to detail.
Spoiler:
you’re gonna cry.
I cried tears of happiness and sadness. Hands down the greatest film. Watched it twice, once in DBox and other in IMAX. Might watch it in Screen X also. Definitely buying it.
@Peacefullman with a bounty on their head, personally i havent seen this kinda spin on the story so it is good.
I cried twice
@Charger literally
@Charger watched it a second time. And legit cried as it made more sense with all the little details
it was the most beautiful film i’ve ever seen
Indeed this is not just a film it's a art it's a next level mind created master pace idea its open lots of doors for directors
This is such an astonishing movie! Can’t get over it! This movie deserves the hype! Definitely will watch part 3!
I've seen it twice in two days. It is a breathtaking, very emotional experience. Really a magnificent creation!!!
James Cameroon is a legend. Period. what a masterpiece. very well done by all the actors.
This movie represents more than a movie. It represents the love of family. And all the sacrifices one is capable of making in order to protect the family. Without a doubt this movie is my favorite.
The use of family was so good and that the family actually feels like a real one and feels so human makes it so much better
When i see comments saying that the movie doesn’t have a good history … it makes me think what else can be better than the family’s love ? For that , we don’t need too much , to reach the point. I saw the movie yesterday and i simply love it…only who has love in his hearth can really know the message.
13 years of waiting!! Definitely worth it. What a masterpiece🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️
The effort is just mind blowing 🙌🏾
The art and imagination is incredible. My 8 year old animal lover cried. I cried as a mom.
The work put into these movies though👏👏🔥
I saw it in 3D and it was absolutely incredible! I loved all the glowing underwater plants and other effects. A truly stunning masterpiece.
What an amazing movie at IMAX 3D. On the edge of your seat throughout the whole movie. Looking forward to the next 2 sequels Dec 20, 2024
@novenzef lol true
wow! just wow!! my goodness! this is the best movie I have ever seen! Congratulations to all the casts and to the talented director.
This should be added at the end of the movie! Its mind bowling that everyone should watch
Watched it under Dolby effect and no words can describe how good the experience was. Will def watch it again with IMAX
@Thomas S
More muscles = more oxygen requirement, no?
They have far more muscle mass, that's why.
AND she's still a smoker!!! Like Kate Winslet, are you human!!? Haha
This movie deserves it all!! I LOVED IT! My mom and I are still crying lol
The best film ever made. Absolute work of art. Hope to see avatar 3 earlier this time. This film brings memories and teaches lessons. Imagine all tghe hard work and all this horus that were put into making this film. Absolutley amazing

A legendary movie indeed. We owe James & all the cast for this amazing movie experienced. ❤
@Prettiest Baddie Looking forward for Alita 2 also❤️
It’s so pretty 😍
James Cameron is insanely awesome! The best director I've known!
This movie is such a work of art
Literally best movie I’ve ever seen
Avatar 1 was made the year I was born so I feel like I have some sort of connection to it so I was literally ecstatic when I heard avatar 2 was coming out. It was the best movie I have ever seen in my life there is so much emotion and I love how much connection there is with the ocean I can happily say I cried 5 times during this movie.🥲 I love this movie so so much and I know I will rewatch it for many years to come.
To the Cast and Crew.... thank you for your service 🫡💗
This movie is example for nothing is impossible 💙
The fact that made me feel everything, I cried my soul out 💗 what an amazing art
@Fingorious Didn't you see the period at the end of the sentence?😜
She aged by 15 years in 3 days? Damn, evolution
Avatar is not a movie. It's the Grace from the God. And the God's name is James Cameron.
@serene same! And I'm actually majoring in animation now so I can learn to make movies like this 😊
I was 1 lol
Besides this movie is a true peace of art, Cameron managed to connect us to his world in a new way. The next morning my husband and I woke up after watching Avatar 2 we looked at each other and said ‘I wonder how they are doing there at Pandora today and what they had for breakfast!’ And it was not a joke!
