@Vitor Fanucchi I'm 46, it's kind of late for that. I took Astronomy 101 and 102, which were sort of like survey courses. I'm sure if I'd pursued it, math would have become an obstacle. Which is why I was an English major.

ASMR is absolutely the best tool to learn / memorize things! Only relaxed mind is curious and absorbs facts easily! I've noticed how I learn new English words (it's not my native language) just by watching / listening ASMR videos. And that happens without any effort.
    Pure magic!

    • Tom Vet

You may want to fact check some of the facts on this before you start absorbing them. I like this guy's videos and he makes everything sound interesting but some of those facts are off. For instance, a million seconds is only a little over 11 days, not 20 to 30 years ago. A billion seconds is actually 31.71 years. I'm sure most of what he says is true but there are a few things he isn't quite correct on. But all of the facts don't have to be correct for it to make it good ASMR and he's definitely good at that.

I somehow ended up falling asleep with my headphones on and all of a sudden, this video starts playing. An hour into the video, I wake up and ask myself what is going on, who is speaking and what is he actually saying. I end up falling asleep again since I was exhausted. I wake up half an hour later and realise what I was listening to the whole time.
Love the effort you put in and thank you for relaxing me after an exhausting and stressful day.

I’ve been studying doing research in astrophysics for years now and this video was still beautiful to watch. The biggest thing in this field is that people may know all the math and complex physics, but being able to conceptualize and imagine what’s happening is a whole different game - and in later years is a concept that is completely lost by many. I can honestly say this helped how I visualize some basic concepts and I really liked how you were able to blow my mind still with the thought about how much kight is really emitted by a star by the fact a certain amount escapes and that’s what we see of other galaxies. So many videos just try to blow your mind with the same flashy concepts of physical scale, time, black holes (which are all impressive and still hold new surprises, but are just scratching the surface of the immensity of nature). So this was a really nice insight into some of the simple, but more subtle beauties of nature. Great job and I hope to see more astronomy astr vids like this!

    • Let's Find Out
Let's Find Out  Ай бұрын +1

thanks ethan that means alot. i always feel like mainstream shows don't give the audience enough credit to explain topics with more math and logic. they always spoon feed it and i aim to inspire viewers to look at these common topics with a deeper eye in the way Feynman does in his explanations. so thanks again. it's an honor to get feedback like that from a far more knowledgable person in the field than myself.

I'm a sophomore now. I've always been intrigued with space. The understanding of the universe especially. It just fascinates me on how much we know about space and time. We know more about this than we do of our own ocean. Just knowing on how fast technology is moving, my generation, if it doesn't lead to the earth's demise, will be the first colonizers of Mars. Now that to me is fascinating. This is the one topic I can truly pay attention to without getting bored. There's just so much to learn. I love your work and vids man.

It is irrefutable that you deserve more subscribers! Not only to you provide something that can never be taken away, you teach it in such a relaxing matter. Unfortunately Einstein was incorrect about everything in space. Hopefully once we understand ourselves, we will be capable of much more.

I just discovered your channel, I'm a law student who lives alone and away from my family. Sometimes it can be lonely, so thank you so much for being the smart voice that's going to be through this finals season with me! Hope I'll pass my Master degree with you in my background while I'm studying, you're amazing :)

You give me goosebumps. Never question your ability. You describe the vast, mathematical awe of the universe with passion bro. That’s better than any public school teacher I ever had.
