@sammyslam1 I am too and its frustrating to see everyone getting equal shares of the blame, even firing Lombardi, while 90% of the blame is on Staley's non-existent leadership. I'm not saying Lawrence didn't recover well either, just that his elevation to genius super hero elite is wrong.

@Tempest ....i tend to see this in a similar fashion.
I won't go so far as to say Trevor doesn't possess elite passing skills but i think that game was more "bad Chargers" than "good Jaguars"
You simply do not lose a 27-0 lead, no matter how early in the game it is.....and especially so when you have a stud at the qb position like The Chargers have...
On defense you have Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa, Derwin James, and other good players......
I'm shocked Brandon Staley has survived that loss!

I'm from a city about an hour outside of KC, and have lived in KC for the last 7 years, and I'll say this - possibly due to lack of natural elements of entertainment (mountains, beaches, etc.) KC is known for its food, and sports fandom. What Trevor said isn't disrespectful, but it will ABSOLUTLEY make that crowd be as loud as possible. I guarantee there is a good chance they will break that "loudness" record.

@Keith Miller Brady was credited for doing more with less when he was 10+ years younger. He’s 45. Tampa Bay’s offensive pieces might’ve been there but the O-Line was non-existent. No QB can overcome a lack of protection. Put Dak in his shoes and you probably would’ve seen the same, if not worse result.

    • Keith Miller
      Keith Miller Ай бұрын

@Help Em’ "she'll of a team"? So Brady needs an all-star team in order to win? Brady had all of his offensive weapons. Trevor Lawrence came from behind after trailing 28-0 while throwing 4 INT's. Brady was ALWAYS giving credit for doing so much with less. NOW he needs an all-star team😂😂😂😂.

To be fair it was actually Trevor’s dad who said (on draft night no less) “football isn’t the most important thing in the world. Trevor could quit tomorrow and still be successful in life” which at the time I hated… that’s bad PR for someone who’s about to give you millions. But to Shannon’s point I agree I think he matured and cares about winning now because he lost like 4 games in 7 years and then his rookie season came around and all they did was lose. I think he thought he was going to step on the scene and be Brady or manning. And after the urban meyer debacle I’m happy to see him focused

should be a decent game if KC dont come out flat which happens in the regular season more than the playoffs should be close but chiefs just win by 7-10 pts. outside of each team's fandom everyone knows who should win but we will see if that holds. (in case you are like but who is supposed to win just ask yourself what would the bigger story be? Thats who shouldnt win. I love that each division winner is still alive which makes it a true playoff everyone in is supposed to be in.

As a Broncos fan I can honestly say Trevor doesn’t realize what impact his words will have. Shannon is right, Arrowhead is loud and will disrupt your offense. Yeah Mile High is magical but you give credit where credit is due and Arrowhead should scare you. Don’t expect to get any audibles called and expect to use the silent count with plenty of penalties. I was hoping KC would overlook the Jags but that’s not gonna happen now. Trevor better bring his A game and yes I hope he does but seriously, he made it personal and Chief fans aren’t exactly model citizens in how they will respond, so yeah he better expect a fight. Maybe that Waffle House he visited will teach him some tricks and epic fighting moves lol (see the Waffle House video) but I know the Jags will probably get 50+ points hung on them and now probably get shutout as well. Thanks for nothing Trevor.

skip can't bring himself to watch mahomes anymore, so he hasn't noticed that mahomes is more lean and agile this year than any prior season. and he's been outrunning defenders and beating them to the edge all year, including jordyn brooks (who ran a 4.54 40) on that TD dive against the seahawks.

No surprise from Trevor. Trevor seems like the type of person in where he’s secured. However, playing at Arrowhead is a huge, crazy atmosphere and Trevor doesn’t understand the magnitude of playing at that field enough.

Sportspsp:. Trevor had been playing on the big stage since his freshman year of high school. The crowds at a high school is nowhere close to a college or pro stadium but the expectations are just as big. The stage there at Arrowhead won't be too big for him. All the time I have watched him over 8 years he has never come across as being overwhelmed. That guy is on an even keel. Skip and Shannon thought that he didn't care but he does very much but it just doesn't show all the time. When he converted that two point conversion that's the most excited I have ever seen him. That meant a whole lot to him.

Trevor played in some of the biggest games when he was at Clemson. Now there is certainly a colossal difference between college and here at arrowhead but I think he'll manage it well enough to make some plays.

Football is my favorite sport and I think the NFL is uniquely interesting because of the draft and the cost cap etc...but I always have to chuckle a little bit when they talk about how loud the crowds are. Just because Im used to german soccer crowds and those are just a different kind of beast. But the fan culture in general is different. In america it feels more like a family thing to go to a game. Over here its often closer to a riot than anything.

As a college football fan, it's hilarious to hear this idea that Arrowhead is the loudest stadium ever. Maybe it's the loudest in the NFL, with their cute little stadiums. College stadiums get much, much louder on the regular.

I like how yall automatically think chiefs is gonna lose It can happen only if they let it. Just because they made a comeback an beat the chargers don't mean it'll be the same against the chiefs. Look how many INTS he threw to the chargers. And yall expect them to come out on top or pull off an upset. We gone see. My chiefs aren't losing I'm quite sure we gone have some INTS from him as well. . .
