Brother the day he decided to record the vid of a person who hang himself in .secluded suicide island .... And. Laugh his ass about it...I knew that hes a souless soul in living human body..
Chamillionaire is the perfect example of taking a chance with the opportunity you are given, he had a successful rap career, was able to invest, and now is set up for life. Alot of times many people become blind to the money they have and think it becomes an endless pit, but Chamillionaire saw an opportunity and knew that you can lose everything in a matter of seconds and dedicated himself to getting more money. That's a win-win situation for me
@King of Prosperity businessmen are typically smart and collected individuals who make valid investments and don't get caught up in other people's lies an entrepreneur is typically some bum who dropships gaming chairs and does motivational streams on instagram
true all net worths are low balled like akademiks said lilbabyhas made 100million but his networth is 10 million tho the website said the same years ago
If you followed chamillionaire, you know he wasn't just a one hit wonder & moved differently from the average rapper... he dropped plenty of classic mixtapes & was making good investments. He's also still collecting checks from his one hit song.. Very smart guy!
We used to go nuts for every mixtape, album, freestyle feature….basically anything Cham was on. Infinitely intelligent, sharp, added some much needed substance to The Houston Scene
It's more than just a one hit song, his business was setup correctly when he went commercial because he already did large numbers independently. The one major hit song didn't do it all by itself, there's plenty of those people and they weren't setup and situated like Chamillionaire was.
Dude didn't waste any opportunity that opens to him.. most of us slack and think there will be a next one then missed out on all of them. He really wanted it..and now definitely got it. Very inspirational if u ask me. This is the type of rapper that people should look up to.
@coffee It's a such a common concept in all major cities. Have you never heard of a new Yorker ? As a citizen of Houston it's thrown around all the time
I was fortunate enough to be friends with Cham (Hakeem) for a short while, when he first was breaking into the tech scene and moving away from Universal. He was the last artist to have a 50/50 deal, before labels switched to their 360 model. He told me several times that he didn’t consider himself a rapper, but a nerd/geek. My former company built his virtual currency rewards system for his website highlighted in this video. Cham is a good guy and deserves all his success.
So my mind is kind of blown. Ive always been a big Chamillionaire fan & still go back & listen to my favorite songs by him, but if you go back & listen to "Ultimate Victory", all the lyrics & things he says throughout the song tie right in with your video essay right here. Its honestly insane. He was saying all of these things right in front of our faces. Its beautiful!
@Traxtal That track is called "I'm on it".. Do it just like Master P, just get all your cash and leave, ya'll know where Imma be the next time you as for mee.. Hustle all night, hustle all day, Imma always be on time when my money call me. 🔥🔥🔥
@TheBajamin yea I seen it. That verse was sick! I was so happy to see that 1. Even though he left rap for a bit he can still hold his own. And 2 its possible he could come back.
@Traxtal He is the only rapper I still like. He has a GREAT verse in the song with Tobe NWigwe. He hasn't lost a single step. Came out a couple months ago.
I forget the song but he said "Ima do like master P. Just make all my cash then leave." Genuinly disappointed when he stopped rapping. Was my favourite rapper for a bit there.
Chamillionaire deserves major respect. Shining a light on the shady practices of record labels, refuses to undervalue your worth, and helping others follow the right path/not get done dirty by anyone. I hate comparing him to Ashton Kutcher but he’s the one who comes to mind when I think of “famous” individuals who diversify & use their royalties to fund startups, diversify, and not be left at the mercy of talent agencies.
@mika hu not specifically a label unless you are referring to Dr. Dre. Fake Studios in Muscle Shoals Alabama donates studio time to budding indie artists to record demos & more thanks to donations made by Dre & other big artists
@Figment Forever THIS IS AWESOME!! Can you tell me more about the label too? I have so much to learn about the music industry but that's so awesome they helped boost so many wonderful artists!
@mika hu There are several: 1. Philip Taylor Kramer from Iron Butterfly - He later became a computer engineering executive and inventor. He disappeared in February 1995 and was found dead in May 1999. 2. P Diddy & Dr. Dre of course. Jay Z too. Established huge studios & labels after they hit it big. Dre specifically has really expanded his portfolio. My hometown has Fame Recording Studios where a lot of musicians have recorded & hit it big from Lynard Skynard, Aretha Franklin, etc. Dre gave them a huge donation years back through his Beats company to helped update the studio & give budding artists a start. 3. Jason Schwartzman of Phantom Planet. Jared Leto too. Went into acting & became big in each field. 4. Anthrax guitarist & co-founder David Spitz became a highly sought after watchmaker whose master crafted works sell for millions. 5. Danny Elfman - he’s now a major sought after composer 6. Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross - both a huge in the composing & soundtrack industry with them both making huge $$ outside of Nine Inch Nails. 7. Jimmy Buffett - diversified through restaurants, books, and more.
This is one of the most impressive people I’ve ever heard of in my entire life. I can’t stop saying “wow” and “oh my god” every five seconds. He is a genius, and he’s curious.
Right, I never knew. Such a smart man. He stuck to what he wanted to do and excelled. It’s amazing and also a shame that so many other men and women feel like they can’t do this because they are not opening there minds to see it
I heard years ago that he planned it this way but never heard the full story. I respect him for this. Ridiculously strategic. I also had no idea him and Paul Wall even knew each other lol
Listen to all his old xixtapes, you'll see how smart and ahead of the game he's always been. on his album he has a verse that goes "You run when they tell you to, but I move when I'm ready to, If you stop to take a breather, you'll see that I'm light years ahead of you".. He wasn't lying 🔥🔥
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz Why do you keep copying and pasting this. You obviously aren't black so there's alot of things you don't know about black culture. Music or otherwise 🤔
The moment I heard he had a JV with Universal where he didn't get screwed like many artists who signed with a music label, I knew he was gonna eat better than most. Problem with some of the rappers coming in young in that relationship is they don't realize how screwed they are. They don't even own their masters and the bigger the hits they make, the more the label just rakes in and the artists get the crumbs with what motivation they have to pump out yet another hit.
Big Up to this Brother for being a true Entrepreneur. Early days we looked up to Rappers and desired their lifestyles, but it in reality never taught us anything. Cham though leveraged his influence which set him on the path of success and a steady stream of revenue. Hats off to that. 🎩
Nicely said it takes a like minded person to see the qualities you pointed out.cool to see you posative attitude.wish there was more people right in the head like you 🐾 Charlotte ☘️
This guy knows how the real world works in the technology scene and money scene. He saves money and invests while rappers today spend money on useless things just for clout
@lukca43 First off, you think that Cham woke up one day, made Ridin and then made it? Cham has worked for a lot of years way before Ridin came out. He has a website that had a few million hits before he signed a major deal. And unlike most rappers who started off with drug money or pimping money, he truly started from nothing and made it from his own intelligence.
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz I have indeed heard about how easy it is for content creators to make money after rappers sell their shoe soles. Very respectful act from rappers giving soles to the sole-less. Makes the world a very comfortable place!
Great stuff man! Happy to see he’s doing well and I hope more kids that look up to rappers see this and see him as a true role model that he is. Keep ‘em coming 💪🏼
Man I can name at least 30 tracks off the top of my head. Even if I wasn't from Houston, I would have been hooked on his music had I heard Get Ya Mind Correct
I don’t consider Chamillionaire a one hit wonder. For my generation ~27-40 he is a rap legend. He used to do so many great features as well as his own projects that were actually pretty successful
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz Hey heres an idea; step off the crack, step off the coke, step off the ketamine and make a coherent sentence that I can read
My hats off to this gentleman!! Using his vision to look ahead as well as what was around him to define his future! I've always told my son to look at what is around you and what can give the most success with as little investment of self as possible to make yourself happy
Anyone who works hard enough to get a 50/50 joint venture with a major label deserves MAD respect. Some people just have that sense of what will be popular, and he's clearly one of them. Plus Ridin' is such a classic, that'll be played for years and years. Great video, glad to see him get the shine he deserves..
I'm so proud of him, helping to change the world in a positive way! I've always been a huge fan since the messiah days! I'll never forget I was closing around on Facebook to him on a post and he roasted me so hard that I laughed and felt embarrassed at the same time lmao I totally deserved it btw haha
Cham has and will always be my favorite artist. Dope music and he helped me understand business and looking towards the future. Sure I want one last album but the life lessons he taught me are probably worth more. LEGEND
Shout-out to Patrick for not only the constant bangers but also shining light on those (even less popular) celebs that turn fame into even more success by being smart with their riches 🙌 its not about all the fame and money but also sustaining a good life for you and yours, thanks for another great back story about an artist with a song from my childhood
This is an uplifting story. Good for him. He's not just smart but he's a visionary and works hard. I wonder when he was doing his early web page and his own social media with his fans, did he do that work / coding himself or did he hire programmers? A lot of people could learn from him. I really like that one song, I'm not aware of any of the rest of his music.
I'm proud of this young man where he saw another avenue and became an entrepreneur in something else like the tech world. Now for him to start teaching and showing a younger generation that being a rapper isn't everything. There's other ways to be who you are set out to be. Yes, he started out rapping, but his true calling was something much greater than that. Blessings to you him now he can bless someone with the knowledge he has
Chamillionaire is truly a millionaire in disguise and a low key extremely talented lyricist. He has some of the best punchlines in the game. The Mixtape Messiah series was actually phenomenal.
This dude was an entrepreneur! I had no idea, this was very insightful and interesting. Thank you for making it. He's so impressive trying to teach the next gen to better themselves! It's tragic it will fell on deaf ears and we still see the next generations doing the same stupid sh_t.
Wow, he seriously had the stuff creators would dream of doing now. A vault (what we’d call) app where everyone can do games and actions to earn points on the fan leaderboard. Forums, had his hand in multiple ventures. He was way ahead of the game, paved a lot and nobody really realized it
As a Houstonian, can’t say how much I appreciate this video. Chamillionaire was all I listened to in high school and it was cool to see someone from my city and high school make it out of his environment and live a better life.
Yea one hit wonder on a global scale but man I loved Chamillionaire when I was growing up in Texas. All I jammed in high school. Get ya mind correct, mixtape messiah 1-7, controversy sells, even the swish’s house tapes he was on like blue light special and Homer Pimpson
Thank you so much for this. I saw his video the other day about the $600,000 and how he said he was gonna let other rappers know if the label ain't drop him. I knew he had investments but 50 mil? I didn't know. He invested like that. Always been a fan regardless. He made college days fun. Big ups to camilitary he's one of top intelligent rapper inverters out there. Htown baby
Patrick, your channel in underrated. I don't know of any channel which could have brought this to light in the manner that you did. And i love the ending, emphasizing how much of a visionary this man is. He is the man to hang around with in life. A friend every upcoming human being in any venture of life needs. He will help you grow.
this was really well done and detailed. cham has always been inspiring. some of the details were slightly off. chams forum and website were up before 2002 because he members and my forum members has minor internet beef and that was before dj screw died. he had one of the best websites and interaction with fans.
I’m halfway thru this vid and never knew the amount of hustle he had. Truly the definition of “making moves in silence”. I truly believe that saying cannot be said by yourself but by someone watching.
He got the bag from ridin dirty and dipped from the industry. Dude was already hella smart and he used that money and invested that money smartly and became super rich. Good on him
i bet he had the bag way before riding dirty. his underground music where its at!! i didn't even listen to those albums really at all. n he one of my favorite rappers of all
He had hip hop police too, his second album had no profanity at all on it. Even Wayne’s verse was censored lol. Dude kept the mixtapes going. Didn’t like the major label shit
Informative video. I never knew how ahead of the game he was back in the day. So few rappers play it smart, and as you called it, "the long game." It just proves that you either have it or you don't. Now-a-days being a rapper in 2022 is a very dangerous career choice. It's sad when rappers have to set up a Go Fund Me for funeral expenses because they are shooting each other in the streets. Or get locked up forever for RICO charges. People should be able to create good music without the "bad guy" image, but unfortunately that's not what sells anymore.
Been a fan of his since 2002 when N Luv With my Money came out. His biggest strength is him looking to the future and not letting others define him. He is so ahead of others
Chamillionaire knew that music wouldn't always grant you miracles and when he got that number one hit he knew that he wouldn't always have a one hit wonder everytime he dropped, and other rappers would have been looking at the money and be hypnotized by it but he invested in things and knew he could make money off of it.Many others wouldn't do that because they would be hypnotized by a bad label deal and continue being controlled to make more music and try to make another hit single or album, Chamillionaire was going in the right direction he was just tryna bring his fans with him by trying to inspire them.
The sound of revenge was one of the best albums of that time. The whole album was hit after hit. “Ridin” was just the radio hit. Not to mention every single hit he was a feature on.
It looks like Cham was just ahead of everyone else his business moves were methodical, planned out and he grinded. He didn’t slack and was hard working and it really paid off for him.
When riding dirty came out;the hype behind this chap was insane, putting Krazy Bone on this song also was a smart move but I went and bought the album when it was released and have to say it wasn't worth the hype,I'll never forget listening to it for the first time and thinking rap is long gone
He wasn’t a 1 hit wonder! Chamillionaire was the underground mixtape king and reined around the time Wayne and all the others were dropping constantly. Forever a legend from the H 🤘🏾 ⭐️ and we’re proud of ya fam!
I worked with him in the studio about 17 years ago on Mixtape Messiah 2. Total pro, good guy, no entourage, no clouds of blunt smoke or lean. Great story btw, excellent work putting this together
Bruh! You earned a subscriber with that one!🔥👊I would have never guessed... What a crazy impressive, motivational, educational, inspirational, sensational story every artist in the business should know about! I'm about to go down a Cha 🐇 🕳️
He's gotta be worth way more than $50M if he invested in all those companies before they blew up in value. Good on him for finding other ways of making money.
@Mr JRH Building Wealth Yeah that's it. The average yearly returns should be around 40% (very roughly because it's extremely volatile) and not the 700% you see on specific companies because you don't want to bet it all on one investment
Chamillionaire is my favorite rapper from the great state of Texas. I grew up with Swishahouse and Paul Wall during these days when Chamillitary first started. This man is prime example of what's possible in the rap game if you pay attention study and meet the right ppl. Much respect from H-Town Texas
I’m so proud of him, that’s how you do it! Nas said “the rap game is like the crack game”. Why anybody would want to stay a musician with these terrible deals and people is beyond me.
I mean there's a lot of people who just truly have a real passion for creating art through music. That said if you're really wanting to make big money expanding into other businesses is the move to make. You don't have to quit making music in order to do that though if you've still got that spark in you to keep making it.
I appreciate you respecting this legendary Houston Rapper who is amazingly intelligent! I'm from Houston, Texas and I Loved Chamillionaire! I loved him and Paul Wall's Album and jammed it all the time in high school and his hit is still a reference and classic here in the H and I'm so happy to see his story! ❤
Thank you so much for the research that goes into these videos as someone who dives down the rabbit hole of information. It’s nice to watch one of these that continues to provide detailed and accurate info! Thank you
can’t believe we don’t hear about him more. i am in college for business and we always talk about big investors like buffet, but it’d be so nice to talk about people who are innovators in the modern era
I urge young people to further look at the people you study in your respective fields. Buffet's investing acumen may be well respected but realize the era he came from and his father being a politician helped him create 'smarter' investments where it was ideal to buy low/sell high. Chamillionaire's situation is one where the deck was stacked against him but used his business sense to not get screwed in typical arrangement that artists have with the record label industry. Not just that but also tap into businesses that he was already utilizing (social media, platform business models).
appreci8 yall creating & sharing Chamillionaire's journey. always gr8 to see someone from the hometown make it independently of course Chamilitary took it to genius level
I remember the CCC and the Swishahouse mixtapes when I was in my very early 20s. Cham was always ahead of his time. Him and Paul Wall were promoting websites when people thought the internet wasn't cool. Nice to see that he didn't let the Ridin' Dirty single define him.
Why isn't THIS man's story being shouted from the rooftops? Thank you Patrick, so happy to have found your channel. You really put people on to some cool ish. More power to you.
I can't believe I forgot to remind y'all to drink water..
That explains why I feel so dehydrated
I got so dehydrated watching this video. Please dont forget next time!
I'm so glad I found you. This channel is simple and amazing and interesting. I love history and music so it's like a combo. 💜
Brother the day he decided to record the vid of a person who hang himself in .secluded suicide island .... And. Laugh his ass about it...I knew that hes a souless soul in living human body..

That's a win-win situation for me
He had faith it was His chance to move in full faith, and he chose wisely.
I don’t think so. This reminds me of the Jordan peele movie Get Out! His soul was hijacked. Rapper turned tech guy business lol yeah right.
...And then comes eternity, so yeah he better have his fun now.
He’s a real life example of the difference between a businessman and an entrepreneur
this one of those comments that sound cool but if u asked him to explain what he mean it really doesnt mean anything
@le4che henrythat might be your definition of both but that isn’t true at all
@King of Prosperity businessmen are typically smart and collected individuals who make valid investments and don't get caught up in other people's lies
an entrepreneur is typically some bum who dropships gaming chairs and does motivational streams on instagram
not true at all yall say anything
@King of Prosperity Spelling.
He has to be worth way more than 50M by now. I'm proud to see him do all that he has done so far.
true all net worths are low balled like akademiks said lilbabyhas made 100million but his networth is 10 million tho the website said the same years ago
He is way richer than that. Dude invested in big tech before they blew up. I wouldn’t be surprised if he probably is close to a billion net.
@Albert Villeneuve Nguyen He make a smart move
At the same time, it's none of our business.
He might be paying them so we don’t know is a billionaire
If you followed chamillionaire, you know he wasn't just a one hit wonder & moved differently from the average rapper... he dropped plenty of classic mixtapes & was making good investments. He's also still collecting checks from his one hit song.. Very smart guy!
@Rom Tur Chamilitary mane!
Facts! Chamilitary mane!
I never even thought of him as a one hit wonder ! He had soooo many good tracks lmao
He's a lyrical monster
Mixtape Messiah 2 was FIRE
We used to go nuts for every mixtape, album, freestyle feature….basically anything Cham was on. Infinitely intelligent, sharp, added some much needed substance to The Houston Scene
He may have not had much commercial success but his mixtapes were fire. He was pure in his rhymes and stayed true to himself.
People like Cham are those who should be more out there. Because his story is really inspiring. His vision is something else and was ahead of his time
I recently heard about how much Chamillionaire really has and I was shocked. It really shows how much of an opportunity only one hit song truly is.
@OneDeep Radio stop it 💀
It's more than just a one hit song, his business was setup correctly when he went commercial because he already did large numbers independently. The one major hit song didn't do it all by itself, there's plenty of those people and they weren't setup and situated like Chamillionaire was.

As a Houstonian, this literally moved me. I love seeing my people win and play smart. Dude is a legend in this city just like Slim and Paul.

Chamillionaire is the definition of a business man. You know someone is rich when you never hear about them
@Blocka Blockflam Nah see you're asking for validation so we know you ain't rich
What about me’ you never heard of me
Does that make me a millionaire
Where they do that at
Trump was a billionaire and a media personality at the same time.
@Anthony Herring Yeah he's still a billionaire and bankruptcy isn't illegal, what's your point?
What about Trump before presidency. Wasn't he a billionaire businessman. But didn't he declare bankruptcy twice, lmao!?
I grew up listening to this guy I had no idea that he was on this type of level until now
Chamillionaire deserves major respect. and is still one of my favorite rapper's 🔥🔥🔥 he needs to drop his Album
Ay for real tho the reason he probably ain't dropped nothin new yet is because of like you said,"the shady record labels ". he shined light on

Aww they didn't tell you last time yous caught up??haha bummer
Paul and Cham Get Yo Mind Correct is an amazing album
They was in an group together wow
This is a crazy comment
Glad you shining light on this.. a lot of people (including me) did not know about this part of Chamillionaire's story..
@OneDeep Radio Mann take that tinfoil hat off your head 🤣🤣. Y'all make me laugh with these excuses.

Yatchy
Me too.
Which is so ironic that his rap name is Chamillionaire
Facts
Nothing but respect for this dude. Rear to see smart guy to stay smart and not getting blindsided by cheap fame.
I'm so glad to see someone make something for themselves despite all the obstacles and the naysayers. God bless him and his family!!
This guy knows how the real world works in the technology scene and money scene. He saves money and invests while rappers today spend money on useless things just for clout
He honestly seems like a super nice guy. Smart too! He deserves all the success and happiness.
I have mad respect for the man. I hope others can learn from him
Dude is a genius some people just don't know when to stop but,he did.

Great stuff man! Happy to see he’s doing well and I hope more kids that look up to rappers see this and see him as a true role model that he is. Keep ‘em coming 💪🏼
Chamillionaire is by no means a one-hit wonder. His catalogue is 🔥🔥
Facts. Mixtape Messiah series and SOR and Ultimate Victory are too fire
Legendary body of work

I don’t consider Chamillionaire a one hit wonder. For my generation ~27-40 he is a rap legend. He used to do so many great features as well as his own projects that were actually pretty successful
Exactly.
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz Hey heres an idea; step off the crack, step off the coke, step off the ketamine and make a coherent sentence that I can read
@Kwanelletary Walker facts
Facts bro!
My hats off to this gentleman!! Using his vision to look ahead as well as what was around him to define his future! I've always told my son to look at what is around you and what can give the most success with as little investment of self as possible to make yourself happy
Dude hustled and took control of his life and finances, nothing but respect
Hustler of the year!
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz possibly true, but many try to do youtube and fail, some are just meant for that lifestyle and hustle while others are not
This man is different
He's one of the few people that see steps ahead and create his path, specifically in his era
Respect 🔥 Great video 🔥🔥
ʀᴇᴀᴄʜ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴡʜᴀᴛsᴀᴘᴘ ғᴏʀ ᴘʀᴏғɪᴛᴀʙʟᴇ ᴛɪᴘs ☝️☝️✅..
He definitely did his thing!! He's actually one of the best lyricist and freestyler from his Era and area!!!
Cham has and will always be my favorite artist. Dope music and he helped me understand business and looking towards the future. Sure I want one last album but the life lessons he taught me are probably worth more. LEGEND
ʀᴇᴀᴄʜ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴡʜᴀᴛsᴀᴘᴘ ғᴏʀ ᴘʀᴏғɪᴛᴀʙʟᴇ ᴛɪᴘs ☝️☝️✅..
Yep. It's about being wise and sagacious with the money you earn.
He does a very good job of humanizing the subjects of his videos helping you to relate to these people you otherwise might not
This is an uplifting story.
One million times smarter than the average rapper
@Bob Grayson huh
But those Rappers are One Million times Smarter than YOU !
What an absolute legend. So much respect for him. Thanks Pat for brining us this story!
This is so freaking awesome. I am so happy and proud of Chamillionaire. Keep up the great success.
A great person for young people in music to look towards
ʀᴇᴀᴄʜ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴡʜᴀᴛsᴀᴘᴘ ғᴏʀ ᴘʀᴏғɪᴛᴀʙʟᴇ ᴛɪᴘs ☝️☝️✅..
So. Much. Respect for this dude.
Major respect to you Chamillionaire.
@Demarcus Credit Exactly, he was not a one hit wonder. Just because someone is not popular don’t not mean they are new to the game.
@BBOFWOLFGANG 👍
N u don't have nothing to say about him being called a one hit wonder? You not no houstonian that shit egregious
Fr
never judge a book by its cover, good for him honestly. truly inspirational.
As a kid I used to listen to him all the time now I understand why his last album was him talking about doing your own thing and being successful
What a great example to the youth and to others in the music business.
Htown baby
This man defines the phrase “a means to an end” beautifully. Everything is a tool that requires capable hands.
I love how extensive your research is and how well you present it. Wishing you 10 million subs and the ability to hire more homies
Chamillionaires music other than ridin dirty doesn't get nearly enough love. Turn it up was 100% a major hit.
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz So you're saying free R Kelly?
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz stop copy pasting bruh
All 7....@Pure Water
Mixtape messiah's wrecked!!
Turn it up with Lil flip was great. But all his songs and mixtapes are great
The world needs more people like mark but coming more from the culture regardless
Good on him
i bet he had the bag way before riding dirty. his underground music where its at!! i didn't even listen to those albums really at all. n he one of my favorite rappers of all
Dripped from the Industry **
He had hip hop police too, his second album had no profanity at all on it. Even Wayne’s verse was censored lol. Dude kept the mixtapes going. Didn’t like the major label shit
You make awesome content. You put these mini documentaries together well, Patrick. You seem like a cool ass dude
I'm still listening to Ultimate Victory and the Mixtape Messiah series. Dude dropped timeless motivational musical codes for us. #Legend
I'm so proud of Chamillionaire. Keep up the good work
Been a fan of his since 2002 when N Luv With my Money came out. His biggest strength is him looking to the future and not letting others define him. He is so ahead of others
This just goes to show that though you may still be considered a one hit wonder, you never know when an opportunity comes knocking on your door
what an inspring and relatable quote
🤦
u just saying anything bru 💀
Chamillionaire knew that music wouldn't always grant you miracles and when he got that number one hit he knew that he wouldn't always have a one hit wonder everytime he dropped, and other rappers would have been looking at the money and be hypnotized by it but he invested in things and knew he could make money off of it.Many others wouldn't do that because they would be hypnotized by a bad label deal and continue being controlled to make more music and try to make another hit single or album, Chamillionaire was going in the right direction he was just tryna bring his fans with him by trying to inspire them.
I love his story and I'm super impressed by what he's done.. this is how u do it.
The sound of revenge was one of the best albums of that time. The whole album was hit after hit. “Ridin” was just the radio hit. Not to mention every single hit he was a feature on.
My respect is through the roof for bro.
This dude was a legend in the underground music scene
It looks like Cham was just ahead of everyone else his business moves were methodical, planned out and he grinded. He didn’t slack and was hard working and it really paid off for him.
Lil wayne should be doing this after all they claim he is the best rapper of all time 😄 🤣 😂 😆
Hi Garou
This man is such an inspiration
Good on him for finding other ways of making money.
just know he been pass 50 million
real rich people dont tell exactly how much they net worth is
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz you went way off topic.... start your millionaire journey
PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz maybe you should follow their lead 🤔 you'd be a KZclip millionaire
Never ever heard of this guy but much respect for his discernment to not fall for the BS in the music industry. They are demonic.
I'm so glad you made a vid cause this is something I've always loved and wad never talked about. He was smart and played everything perfectly
This is how you do it! I’m so proud of him!
Cham is the perfect example of getting in at the right time and getting out at the right time
I’m so proud of him, that’s how you do it! Nas said “the rap game is like the crack game”. Why anybody would want to stay a musician with these terrible deals and people is beyond me.
And who you think control’s the crack game?
You just made me realize that's where asap rocky got that from
Idk look at nba youngboy
And look at Nas now. Worth 70 million (according to Google), and made lots of investments.
I mean there's a lot of people who just truly have a real passion for creating art through music. That said if you're really wanting to make big money expanding into other businesses is the move to make. You don't have to quit making music in order to do that though if you've still got that spark in you to keep making it.
Cham was talking about his tech interests early on once he blew up; dope to see him see it through successfully 👍🏾
I honestly did not know this about him and to learn so much through your video, this is some inspirational stuff!!
I appreciate you respecting this legendary Houston Rapper who is amazingly intelligent!
I'm from Houston, Texas and I Loved Chamillionaire! I loved him and Paul Wall's Album and jammed it all the time in high school
and his hit is still a reference and classic here in the H and I'm so happy to see his story! ❤
Thank you so much for the research that goes into these videos as someone who dives down the rabbit hole of information. It’s nice to watch one of these that continues to provide detailed and accurate info!
Thank you
He was ahead of his time and I happy for his success.
can’t believe we don’t hear about him more. i am in college for business and we always talk about big investors like buffet, but it’d be so nice to talk about people who are innovators in the modern era
chamillionaire and akon 101
Buffet is ....fucking....... Boring...... so yeah... Schools need to get up to speed on true innovators and big thinkers.
Great Man, Great Lyricist, Great Mind, Great Heart, Great Human Being.
#ChamilitaryMaaaaaan 💯💪🏿🖤
appreci8 yall creating & sharing
Chamillionaire's journey.
always gr8 to see
someone from the hometown make it independently
of course Chamilitary took it to genius level
I remember the CCC and the Swishahouse mixtapes when I was in my very early 20s. Cham was always ahead of his time. Him and Paul Wall were promoting websites when people thought the internet wasn't cool. Nice to see that he didn't let the Ridin' Dirty single define him.
Probably one of the nicest guy ive ever met. Dude is very down to earth.
nothing but the massive respect to Cham
hes like the time traveler in the meme
ʀᴇᴀᴄʜ ᴏᴜᴛ ᴏɴ ᴡʜᴀᴛsᴀᴘᴘ ғᴏʀ ᴘʀᴏғɪᴛᴀʙʟᴇ ᴛɪᴘs ☝️☝️✅..
Why isn't THIS man's story being shouted from the rooftops? Thank you Patrick, so happy to have found your channel. You really put people on to some cool ish. More power to you.
He may have just one mainstream hit, but he is a underground legend!!!
An exemplary businessman he is.
