Julian’s fathers words brought me to tears. We teach our children to stand up against injustice but then this is happening. How can we go on like that?!

Julians father didn’t teach his children anything he abandoned Julian as a baby and vanished for 25yrs if he stayed maybe Julian wouldn’t have lived in 40 diff houses and become a computer hacker, He wouldn’t be in this mess if he’s dad wasn’t a dead beat dad!

A big shout out to the protesters who give up their weekends and weekdays to stand outside Belmarsh prison and protest on Julian’s behalf, there always very friendly when I’m stopped at the traffic where they distribute their latest literature regarding Julian.

Because referring to him by his last name alone is dehumanising.
It’s why Governments would prefer it if people referred to Julian by his last name. So that we’re less likely to feel a connection to him and care about what’s happened to him.

*I keep hearing people say "Julian Assange damaged the reputation of the United States". This is not true; the United States of America clearly embarrassed itself by it's own actions; Julian Assange merely pointed public attention to those actions.*

There’s a campaign by Belmarsh prison where Julian Assange is detained, to show support by honking. Every time I drove past I honk. I hope Julian can hear it. Sending my support to him and his family ❤

@Faye_bulous Honestly, I'll bet it becomes tiresome after a while considering that car-horns are purposefully designed to be jarring and strident. The truth is, the horn thing is probably more for the public, desperate to feel important in the face of a situation that is so far outside their ability to actually do anything about it. It would probably be more useful to throw rocks at the windows, maybe Julian would be able to squeeze through the hole and get away.

@wayne myers that’s what Julian Assange support team have put in place, I believe Julian can hear it. I think it’s for him to know he’s not forgotten and people are not giving up on him. I’m sure hearing cars honking helps him to stay strong.

Honking? HONKING?? I don't think anyone could come up with a more useless and empty gesture.
I'm sure that as long as people react to Assange's imprisonment with honking the Government will have no reason to release him...

I know how long, how sad it is to watch and hear this podcast, but so needed. This needs to be shown in schools, elementary on up. I’m 73, and was able to see through the lies, past present. I’m crying buckets of tears. My heart and mind is so broken, watching the people who have been hurt through the years, because they speak truth. We need to fight for these people, who tell the truth, and are punished. No one should have power over another, like this. God please guide us through these times, protect those that speak the truth, please release them from the horror, they with stood, over the years.♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸please make this go viral🇺🇸🇺🇸

What an absolutely beautiful and empowering experience listening to all insightful and determined people talk with such an integrity and regard for true justice crowned by the touching and thoughtfully picked song performed by no lesser than Sir Waters and the awesome band. There is so much in this video that if there's anyone that cannot feel the warmth and join the cause after listening to all these addresses, I guess there's just nothing more one can do for them to help them to break out of their indoctrination and become a human being again...

I urge anyone living in the UK to write to their MP and have them clearly define their stance on Julian Assange's situation and their view of protection of whistle-blowers in general. Too many MP's have simply washed their hands of this and simply look away but it is their responsibility to address this and it is our responsibility to keep raising the issues until they do.

This is amazing !!!! Well done to everyone attending this event. All of you are amazing human beings fighting for justice and against the US government, which believes that they are superior and are abusing their position and power, and are hypocrats following double standards. Nobody should feel superior, and above the law, including the American government !!!!! It is terrible and appalling how people have to fight sooooooooooooo incredibly hard for justice in this world, while some human beings who are in powerful positions believe that they are superior and can punish those innocent. I love and admire everyone's bravery and beautiful speeches here. All of you are amazing, wonderful people who are standing up against injustice. Thank you for doing this. I love all of these speakers. They are highly articulate, and they have made great points.

That footage as with the crimes at Gitmo and on and on were horrifying at the time it was released and has haunted me ever since it was revealed. I still have mad admiration and respect for Chelsea Manning for risking her life to get it to someone who would be brave enough to release it. That makes both of them heroes. I understand a lot of people prefer to look away from the truth when it is wicked and ugly like this, but that’s when we have to look and speak up and speak out. My brain can’t even begin to fathom how many war crimes have been committed by the US alone over the 66 years I’ve been on this planet, which has never known a days peace.

And I asked my friends just WTH was wrong with them. That's the first time I've cried in a long time, I was physically sick.

Wherever you are now, stand up and say something…do something in the name of justice and for mankind.

Great meeting. Assange has done more real journalism and suffered for it than anyone else in the last twenty years. Glad DN seems to now recognize this but just six years ago DN was either supporting false narratives about assange, hosting anti assange propagandists on thier show with no push back or just ignoring him completely. Many have a negative understanding of him and his work to this day partially because of DN reporting and they should admit that.

      > Cinda Riley Wishing "a good life" to Julian Assange borders on offensive - my goodness, Cinda; the man passes his days living in prison for years now - and it's likely he will continue to reside there. That can hardly be considered a place that fosters a 'good life' - what were you thinking to say such a thing? As well, until the people on this panel turn their words into action to actually get Julian released from prison, what do you think they do for him? Talk is cheap. Action makes things happen.

It is continously absolutely appalling to see that former top US political leaders such as Henry Kissinger, Dick Cheney, George W Bush, and colleagues of them with truly dark legacies still strole around free and unprosecuted, as if none of their war crimes ever occured. A couple of them have even won the Nobel Peace Prize, and they are praised by what obviously must be a highly crooked and hypocritical part of the political community, while simultanously state leaders from opposing regimes are accused for similar crimes or denying free journalism. This is why Julian Assange will never receive the Nobel Peace Prize, if ever be set free.

The silence of Australia, since Julian's arrest & all the different governments that have been in power since 2007 AND all the media nobody has come to his defence: He's even not talked about in Australia. One of the most inhuman acts of cowardice in the face of humanity.
Shows how TRUTH is not wanted... the most precious God given gift for the survival of every man, woman and child.
We cannot live without Truth... we die!

As an American, I was grateful to see what Julian Assange revealed. He appeared to have no political agenda with his Wikileaks releases. He aimed to reveal the truth of things that would be beneficial to ALL human beings across the globe.
When the Biden administration can prove he had a nefarious agenda, then I will support his extradition. Until then, leave him alone and let him be free!
