I as a German person can say that it really takes some courage as a German to do things like that in public because most of us care a lot about what other people think of us. Because of that I really appreciate this video and yes I love the music
@WackyWildPotato In Berlin you can do what you want. It's the most open city concerning outfits or dancing in public. I don't know what Christine means with "we German". If she means herself, ok. But it's bullshit to generalize about us all.
Was a 180kg when I first started watching these videos. Started losing weight because I wanted to dance like this. 3 years later and I can finally get a shuffle going.

@Newo_J05 It IS a beautiful thing to see and remember those days. You can even see it when the camera pans around...everyone standing there, watching each person...being in the moment. SO wonderful!
I love that even the Jumping videos coming out nowadays still use good old oldschool hardstyle, just like this one did 11 years ago (when it wasn't considered oldschool yet). Goes to show that this was the prime time of hardstyle!
And some of my friends' kids, who are teens now, ask me how we stayed in such a good shape back then. When you combine breakdance before noon and jumpstyle afternoon it's impossible to be out of shape. I dearly miss the times when we gathered at some park orsome city square and just danced and vibed to the music we loved. No overcrowded clubs with shitty music most of the time. Damn... why people stop doing this stuff when they grow up?
What's so nice about this, is that this is such wholesome fun. Just a bunch of people dancing and having a good time, listening to their favorite music. Good times all around!
Damn I’m 13 right now I’m 2020 and I wish I was part of this Generation it looks SO Damn fun especially to not have to worry about anyone criticizing you for what you just accomplished it makes it 1000% better
This generation is way better, you have a lot more access to the types of games, media, and technology you want. You aren't missing much, you're actually getting a bigger piece of the pie than we did back then. I don't enjoy playing old kirby games any less than I did back then and theres probably still a lot of people still playing those games because they're so good. And the same can be said for a lot of other things back then.
@Helix Maren we've mainly moved to online communities now like Reddit, Discord etc.. I'm trying to organise a meetup in my county at some point once I've un rusted myself and become good again 😂
I noticed every single person stood out as a Different style dancer other than the pairs who danced in sequence with eachother , even though the music was the same Everybody was awesome as individuals dancing ,and I loved how parents with children attended ,you can see they loved it watching you guys and girls dancing , ,,as a rooky rave dancer once when I was younger I'm 54 now ,I could feel the electric going through me Absolutely fantastic to see this on you tube Awesome.
Never paid techno dancing much attention, been a dnb guy since the dawn of it. On new years eve I went to a club with new friends I made, who are almost half my age, but we got techno, hard style and dnb, so I got to enjoy all of the music in one night and saw some amazing folks rocking the floor. I danced until my feet had blisters, not been that exhausted in a long time. Anyway, love the performance and felt like this was the right place to share some good vibes and memories.
@Scrubby search: - LAUTH JUMPER - PHANTOM JUMPER - WALLE JUMPER - SOSHO - KADA JUMPER - BATMAN JUMPER They are some jumpers with higher level nowadays.
To me, there's a clear difference between when you do something "good", and where you feel good when you do it. 0:42, 1:27, 2:16, 2:25, 2:34. I am not a good dancer, but more than one people told me that they enjoyed watching me dancing. That's just about because I was feeling what I did, and that can be "transferred" to the people that sees you.
I always find myself watching this, the music the dancers lift my spirits no end 😁. Next time I am in Berlin I hope they are around I'd love to join in even at my age I can still BOUNCE 😉
the mind and the body are connected... I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer but i can tell for sure because just watching this, lying on my bed , doing nothing; l am sweating.remembering all those fun hours practicing in my college dorm room watching youtube tutorials 10 years ago
I miss this era with hardstyle. it died long ago But youtube apparently recommending this to everyone NOW Good job youtube. EDIT: Ok so apparently its alive in some places but sadly im in Croatia where only 1% of the population even knows what Hardstyle IS .-. thanks for the info. Not really true , I’m from Belgium and grew up in the 90’s . We first had the gabber ( hardcore scène ) with the Netherlands and than the era of jump/hardstyle came and intull today you will still find hardcore and jump/hardstyle events across Belgium and the Netherlands . It’s verry much alive in Belgium and the Netherlands but that’s probably because both our countries are the founders of that styles . Most festivals and events you would come across in Belgium or The Netherlands would be hardstyle or hardcore and jumpstyle and tekstyle based and even the era before those styles like retro house and retro trance classics . I guess it’s in both countries their blood to go hard or go home
Mein Papa hat es immer lautstark mitgesungen.. Egal wo das Lied lief.. Daher haben wir es dann 2012 auf seiner Beerdigung gespielt. Immer wenn ich das Lied höre, denke ich an ihn
The reason there were no phones everywhere is because back then people still had phones with buttons like Nokia, Sony, Samsung,... and they had bad cameras. However touchscreen phones like iPhone did exist but they were expensive back then. Around 2012. smartphones began to be better due to technology advancing which cameras on those phones were getting better every year and thus the phone revolution began when Samsung started with advancing their S series that will change the face of phones
Best way to learn is to watch them! Though jumpstyle is much harder than it looks. There are tutorials on youtube! Coming as someone who learned to shuffle to hardstyle and is currently trying to learn jumpstyle, i can say that jumpstyle is something you need someone to teach you as well as a lot of studying to get good at, at least in my personal experience. Best of luck learning!
what memories! I was in second grade and left school on the last day, the sun, the heat and I saw those in middle school with a speaker, a video camera (at that time there were no smartphones) and the dance-style jump was something that today's children cannot understand. (sorry my poor language)
It would be interesting, seeing this people now. I mean in ten years so much can change and maybe some of them still can dance like this. A 're-match' would be so fantastic. I'd be the first person who would jump into the train to Berlin. I'm from Bavaria but I'd take this time and join them. Maybe there will be a new match? Who knows but it would be great!
to everyone who says hardstyle is dead, just dont know how big the scene become in the past 10 years. Just take a look to the netherlands and their Hardfestivals.
I watch this video a lot and always wonder what they're doing with their life almost 10 years later. Do they still dance? Do they think back on this event as "the good old days"? Either way I hope they're doing well.
I've always come back to this video and back to jumpstyle over the years, I get into it then forget about it but I always SOMEHOW come back to this one video, now I wouldn't dare try learning jumpstyle because I'd break my ankles faster than trip running down the stairs but it's inspired me to learn German so I can at least know what the guy at the start is saying. 3 years into learning the language and I still have no clue what the hell he said ;-;
He didn't say the stuff in the square brackets, but with it you can understand the rest correctly. In englisch it means: "There is this super cool american Dude named Gideon. He wants to see you dancing! We'll show the Americans what it means to put culture on this place, to dance[...].
I as a German person can say that it really takes some courage as a German to do things like that in public because most of us care a lot about what other people think of us. Because of that I really appreciate this video and yes I love the music
i feel like thats more on todays society than 13 years ago
@WackyWildPotato In Berlin you can do what you want. It's the most open city concerning outfits or dancing in public. I don't know what Christine means with "we German". If she means herself, ok. But it's bullshit to generalize about us all.
That's bullshit. In Berlin you can do everything you want. No-one would feel ashamed dancing in public. And these dancers are really good.
Die meisten werden nur denken, wow ist dad toll.
I am terrified of dancing and people seeing me dance. I sort of want to do this.
Was a 180kg when I first started watching these videos. Started losing weight because I wanted to dance like this. 3 years later and I can finally get a shuffle going.
Best wishes to you

Ya see, Only 1 camera was needed to record this masterpiece. Not a crowd who holds their blackberries and cameras...
Just living the moment. Beautiful
@Hummens Lol not true m8 and kameras did well even for really cheap like Canon entry level cams.
12 years ago was already the end of black berrys

I just recently found this dance style.
Wow it's amazing.
This video never gets old. Its still amazes me everytime I see it.
Como mrd el Hardstyle no esta dominando el mundo. Porfavor! 🤘🇵🇪🤘
They represent our jumpstyle skills. I am from Berlin too and the only thing I can say: das ist sehr gut 👍
It's 11 years since this was uploaded... Hope everyone in the video is doing well now 😇
hope so too
Now that Jumpstyle and Shuffle are no longer mainstream we can finally enjoy it properly.
@MMB Mashup Corpos are leeches, in their hunger for profits they suck the fun out of every indie culture.
now they are pushing it to be mainstream again
WOW Love it! Where do I learn to do this?
You guys are the bomb. Respect to you all.
I always come back to this style of dance and it just resonates.
The hype will live forever... good, genuine people having fun for not much reasons.

You have nothing to apologize for. Your English is very good. Probably even better 2 years later!
It’s been 10 years since this video was uploaded. I can imagine these type of people doing this during these difficult times.
I've watched this probably 30 times since I found it a couple months ago. I can't get enough of it.
Watched this so many times and never get sick of it. Life was so much more awesome back in the 90s
That's true!
love how this video represents my youth, growing up and hitting puberty in the european 2000s
Elle est belle la relève ! Bravo les gars 👏🏻
I'm a 50 year old geezer and I love watching these young folks dancing. I'd hurt myself trying this LOL Carry on! :)
Mann hopefully one day I'll be half as good at Jumpstyle as these guys!🤞🏼
We made a new Jumpstyle video. Hope you like it. :-) kzclip.org/video/EPpdFX9ix1c/бейне.html
damn I miss jumpstyle and hardstyle shuffling, you don't see this anymore
Estos vídeos los veo desde el 2011 😿 que recuerdos
It would be interesting, seeing this people now. I mean in ten years so much can change and maybe some of them still can dance like this. A 're-match' would be so fantastic. I'd be the first person who would jump into the train to Berlin. I'm from Bavaria but I'd take this time and join them. Maybe there will be a new match? Who knows but it would be great!
That guy at :45 is insane. Truly great dancing talent there.
Yeah probably the Best hardjumper I've ever seen
I have watched this 73 times in a row and I still love it.
to everyone who says hardstyle is dead, just dont know how big the scene become in the past 10 years. Just take a look to the netherlands and their Hardfestivals.
klaplongen is cringe stomping imo
@Roy Batty we love the haters
@Bass Addict it was fun when jumping was a thing
@Roy Batty 90.000 people think different.
Definitely my favorite dance style I just can't get enough of it even though I can't do it for s*** 😂
All these years later and green hair dude still killing it
This is that really short era where hardstyle and jumpstyle where figuring themselves out and whether or not they could coexist.
Ça sort d où ça.....c énorme les 2 premières minutes sont exceptionnelles et ça danse comme des dieux, des déesses.
I watch this video a lot and always wonder what they're doing with their life almost 10 years later. Do they still dance? Do they think back on this event as "the good old days"? Either way I hope they're doing well.
Probably got back knee and hip pain! 😲
Often I remember the good old days 😅 I am one of these people (green phattie) greets :)
@Lue Sasole You and me both. Also fuck, time flies
Can we find their names?Im really curious to see how they are 10 years later
me too
I've always come back to this video and back to jumpstyle over the years, I get into it then forget about it but I always SOMEHOW come back to this one video, now I wouldn't dare try learning jumpstyle because I'd break my ankles faster than trip running down the stairs but it's inspired me to learn German so I can at least know what the guy at the start is saying.
3 years into learning the language and I still have no clue what the hell he said ;-;
He didn't say the stuff in the square brackets, but with it you can understand the rest correctly. In englisch it means: "There is this super cool american Dude named Gideon. He wants to see you dancing! We'll show the Americans what it means to put culture on this place, to dance[...].
Great exercise. I couldn't really nail it myself back in the day but man was it fun to hang out.
Reminiscing the days of mixing this dance to kazotsky dance back in Senior High and competing
Que buenos tiempos 😢 😢
