@Questlove 5 Exactly lol. Tom is funny af. And Dave is usually someone people name first. Andrew’s crowd work is also amazing. You’re right, that dudes comment is 100% irrelevant now lol.
It’s so funny that Bill is notoriously tricky to interview, but he’s always just being himself. He’s not even a difficult guy, he genuinely tries to converse and be funny. It’s not like he’s cranky or terse like Harrison Ford, or bad at communicating like DeNiro. Bill is consistently 100% his genuine self, and for some reason it just breaks people. The awkwardness is always on the part of the interviewer.
Bill is oversensitive, paranoid and defensive. It causes him to lash out and be a dick. Sure that's "real" for him but it's also what makes him unlikable to a lot of people. As a big fan of his, it seems a lot of his audience have unresolved anger issues that Bill normalizes for them. It's easy validation and why they think he's beyond reproach.
definitely working on the not snapping I noticed that too lol. she was also aware of how easily he could destroy her, toned it down real quick after that intro lol and everything he described was 100% LA: crap drivers (u dont have to slow down that much on a right; they cut the speed by 3/4), and arrogant jokers who hate their jobs
She definitely gives me manipulative psycho girlfriend vibes. I’ve had more than one of those in my younger days, and they are exactly like how she was acting
This is hilarious - and even when Bill salvages it, she dives right back into the awkwardness- which tbh, is totally Sarah's thing. I don't always get it, but at least she's consistent.
She is trying to be funny rather than being funny. If you are interacting with one of the greatest comedic minds on the planet this what you get awkwardness.
This has "we once had sex and I'm trying hard not to let the other person think I feel awkward about it" but ultimately making them feel awkward about it- energy
@Igor It's the exact vibe of "Heyy, why don't we talk anymore..?" from Sarah. Her hand rubbing his leg was painful. You notice some kind of tension (sexual), and his body language trying to create distance lol
@zbaker330 I actually agree. His shtick was the rambling joke where the audience are laughing, laughing, waiting, waiting for the punchline, elbowing their friend beside them 'oh this will be good, this will be gold!' then..splat.
@JG2 Norm is a genius lol. If people think he's not, the jokes just go too far over your head. Sarah has her moments but she's overrated. She was trying seem like she wasn't flustered in this interview.
I don't know. My theory here is they had a secret relationship and we're seeing some of that here. It's in the way Bill tries to casually play it off and she says I'll show you. Notice he doesn't clap back at that one. This is Bill Burr we're talking about. He always claps back lol I think they had a spat or it ended and Sarah's getting him back. Just my theory
The moment at 6:12 is the best moment from this entire bizarre interview. Bill Burr’s intelligence and sense of humour is finally withered away by her confounding and inane comments😂
I had a crush on her when I was like 11 because I thought she was just playing a character like gilbert gottfried. Now I realize she's actually just crazy.
@Obsolete Elite Nah dude... maybe not "behind the scenes from Silvergal anyway... but IMO Burr's not got another mode... Genuine all day every day....(Example.... Marie's Berries Sarah's a bit of a douche IMO cos of the obvious EARLY left BS steer etc... but she gained a bit of cred from me cos Bill knocked braincells with her, with manners. A fine line from nutty silerballs and proper real burrLAND.
This was actually painful to watch. I have a feeling Bill walked straight out the front door with the audience, got in his car. Collected himself then 5 blocks away he said "what the fuck was that"
@Marky Bill Burr is first and foremost a businessman. He's not nimble or quick-witted in the moment, and you can see, when he's uncomfortable, he reverts to set material. He's doing his act, not being a person.
He definitely dumped her at some point, literally acting like a crazy ex. Every five seconds “I love you”, “We love each other”. And poor Bill just being like 😕
@SpaceOwl It's how a lot of his fans are especially if there is a woman involved. Many of them are similarly foul in that podcast he does with his wife even though he'd be angry to read what they write in the comments about her. Because Silverman isn't his wife they probably feel even more emboldened to post their weird narratives.
6:20 is exactly the thing. She's made her mind up about Bill. Because she thinks he's a simple puzzle to be worked out and he just needs to see her point of view about how he is because she's so completely right about everything.
She’s like the popular, funny chick that’s introducing the new funny guy to her own friends for the first time and being paranoid that her friends are gonna think he’s funnier and more interesting than her which he undoubtedly is.
This comment signifies that you know next to nothing about Burr and Silverman s very long friendship. JC Why can't you lot just enjoy his comedy or interviews without putting the other person down. This obviously is how both he and she interact a lot of the time. It doesn't mean she resents him or whatever bs you dreamt up.
I found this interview refreshing, funny, awkward but good awkward, and more interesting dialogue than the normal TV stuff. Not hard to watch, good to watch.
I can relate to the restaurant story. I started as a dishwasher. Moved up to cook. And even waited tables and cooked when the waitress called in before we opened. And I crushed it.
I was a lead cook/grill master for a burger joint for two years plus a night closer. Shit was crazy but killed it lol never had a complaint or return on the food I cooked.
Yes this was pretty awkward. Sarah's mistake was trying to make their friendship ( if it even exists - might be only a casual thing like with a co-worker) be more than it is. On top of that she was playing therapist and analyzing Bill hoping he would confirm her analysis. That backfired miserably.
I've seen quite a few Bill Burr interviews and he is noticeably annoyed at having to ALWAYS answer about his anger or emotional issues. He wants to have fun or promote shit he's working on, not be pyschoanalyzed every time he is interviewed. He clearly has worked on himself and doesn't want to talk about it anymore.
@M Rocha No I love Sarah Silverman. Due to a heart condition I faint when I laugh. Thanks to purchasing her comedy specials this is no longer a problem. If I’m doing something where fainting could be fatal I just listen to her stand up and know I will be safe.
Exactly. No one enjoys being sponaneously psycho analyzed. Not sure why people think thats cool to do to others, especially when they didn't ask for your opinion
It's what I love about Bill Burr he never backs down to the mob and if the mob has a figurehead as far as comedians go it is this person. You keep being you Bill.
As Bill did say at the end, its one of his favourite interviews. Sarah talks honestly from her perspective even if that doesn't match Bill's and it's off the cuff.
Wow he dropped a really good pearl of wisdom on her about giving it your all and her take away was basically "you're old and things change". The real reason guys like him are ACTUALLY comedians unlike Sarah or Amy is because they got knocked down SOOO many times when they started out yet instead of giving up or calling their haters "misogynists" they got back up and rolled with the punches. Guys like Bill are the MOST relatable and down to earth people while people like Sarah here try to project this image that screams "LIKE ME!!!!! I'M FUNNY!!!! WHY DON'T YOU LIKE ME!?!?!?!". I mean look how long this "show" lasted...
Bill lost his edge. He use to be able to call out bullshit, but now after Disney got to him he has to be responsible with his jokes. I miss the old Bill. He's gone.
I appreciate an interview that is not planned out with the guest knowing every question coming up. Sometimes it can get a little awkward like here but it´s still good.
love Bill Burr!! this woman was insanely cringe and made everyone uncomfortable but Bill managed to diffuse the awkwardness with comedy! he's the funniest person I know, hands down my favourite comedian
“How’d your date go” “She’s PC and hates my guts, it was awkward and for the last 10 minutes I trolled her until the check finally came.” *phone rings in the middle of the night* “Clarissa? Umm, hi.” “What are you doing right now?!” “About to go to bed, what’s up?” “Come over so I can do dirty things to you!” Me in my head (WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED).
Part of what it makes it awkward is that she doesn’t really laugh at all when he’s making jokes, just sits and stares at him with a weird smile on her face. As a result, it doesn’t feel like banter; it just feels really strange
Everybody is saying how irritated he was but honestly I think he liked this interview lol he meant it when he said this was the best interview. That's just his personality
The problem is she knew he was trying to anger manage, and she bought up his father... Because once a girl knows any weakness they will throw it at your face.
@Terry Gunnell No he doesn't dude. Watch any interview with Bill Burr when he's among friends. He sinks right into the chair like he's stoned - clearly comfortable. He was trying to GET AWAY in this interview. lol
Honestly, the audience reaction was a big part of what made things more awkward or tense than they should've been. Bill & Sarah were vibing off of what was emanating from the crowd.
I remember the first time I saw Sarah Silverman in something I thought she was hilarious and then I watched a second thing with her in it and realized I was wrong the first time
I think we're seeing the byproduct of a secret relationship bleed over into TV 😆 He says I never said that she's like I'll show you and he shuts the f*** up about it lol Maybe it ended and she didn't want it to and I don't know. I think there's something more here lol
I’ve never seen someone make bill burr that nervous before. He recovered nicely and ultimately took control of the entire building and even interrupted her to maintain further control. Then he relaxed settled in and became funny, but I noticed when he did the female avocado joke he didn’t do it in his female voice that could be considered derogatory to Silverman and her audience
Her gaslighting is a “micro aggression” Telling Bill he doesn’t like that she’s got him figured out based on daddy issues…super toxic. She’s got issue w/ non-submissive men.
Sarah Silverman is like every psychiatrist/psychologist ever. "You don't like being told what to do." Who enjoys that? Who likes being told what to do? I tolerate it. I don't get angry when my boss tells me what to do, but I am not generally pleased about it. And when I eat out, this is why I always tip. I know it's a bit enjoyable to be waited on, but also know that it deserves compensation.
@Hank Hill Nah never been on any meds like that, I was on high dosages of cortisone a few times however. Which is probably what propelled me to look into this more. High dosages somehow mess with your brain to a point where all learned emotional behavior flies out of the window. Things that I used to be afraid of didnt scare me anymore, I had a parttime job in a callcenter which bored the hell out of me, suddenly wasnt boring at all anymore. League of Legends didnt make me angry anymore lolol. I could still feel all sorts of joy, and other positive as well as negative emotions, just not the "learned" stuff(See kid gets bit by dog, scared of dogs for life). But the lower the dosage the more of it came back. Thats what made me realize a lot of emotional responses are learned shit, not genetic. Hence the dog example : ) I actually got bit by a small dog when I was 6
@Shinobi-No-Bueno Wow. This isn't two people having a private conversation or genuine interaction. It's two comedians on a set in front of an audience and cameras. Trying to apply psychoanalysis without context will always give invalid results.
Aren't people aware that every talk show is designed to showcase the comic's act to promote them, not to have a real conversation? ( 4k likes is crazy- Check youtube for proof this is standard)
If you have watched other Bill Burr interviews she actually played this smart because she made him feel awkward first otherwise he would have ripped her to shreds if she tried to act normal and level with him seriously
@Jorge Gonzalez Theo Von’s podcast interview with billburr is pretty painful lol. Also h3h3 podcast had him on and that was pretty awkward and funny too
I feel like she lives in her own world... she's literally talking to herself. It's so awkward Edit: it's like she kidnapped him into memories aswell as imaginary assaults, as if his comedy was designed to be an anti-love letter to her personally
Y’know it might be a bit awkward but I personally loved this, it was funny and a genuine conversation. Didn’t really sense anything but good vibes off this interview.
This is Sarah confirming if people like her or not...she needs that reassurance that people 'like' her so she can keep her 'career' going and feel better about herself
I hate to have to break this down for some of you in the chat, but a comedian was not the same thing back in ancient Athenian times as what the word means today. Billy burrrrrr just took that Netflix money and changed, that's about the size of it.
Socrates was actually a comedian; telling truths of the real world are funnier than fake world nonsense. This is why Sarah Silverman will never be funny…..
It’s funny how she turns after her closing remarks to have one silent final interaction with him on front of the crowds, to sort of smile off the awkwardness…and he’s gone LOL.
I feel like they are trying to poke each other in just the right way. Comedians interviewing each other is the best . They make it so the audience is as uncomfortable as possible but inside they are dying from how hilarious it is.
Bill is doing his best to keep things funny. Sarah is wanting to confront Bill about *something* and is trying to pass it off as comedy. What a trainwreck.
@Home O Essential all he had to do is not play dumb and derail the interview into pointless quibbling of shit in a petty way. I like plenty of Bill's stuff but this is totally just how he is with interviewers. Just a general lack of respect or sense of obligation to anyone to nake a good show. He's almost begrudgingly participating most of the time.
I have never seen a more disconnected interview. The more it progresses, the more it feels like someone made a compiled video where they put together questions and answers from two different interviews...
No matter what Sarah Silverman says or does, I will always love her for Vanellope von Schweetz. Best voice acting I've ever heard this side of Mel Blanc.
This video is literally Sarah being weird and Bill desperately trying to make everything normal again
So spot on about poor service. In UK at times it's appalling!
Looks like they used to date
.....you know something is wrong with you when even Bill thunks you're being crazy.
Dude, Bill is so effortlessly hilarious it’s almost unfair to other comedians.
lmao
Only other guy I know that has it to this extent is Rm Brown on KZclip
She is jealous of him having actual emotions, where she, on the other hand, is dead inside
@Questlove 5
Exactly lol. Tom is funny af.
And Dave is usually someone people name first.
Andrew’s crowd work is also amazing.
You’re right, that dudes comment is 100% irrelevant now lol.
It’s so funny that Bill is notoriously tricky to interview, but he’s always just being himself.

@Boss Nass sara Silverman, good morning texas, and Ethan klien
@DEAD MEAT JB Name three
@Boss Nass ys definitely
@DEAD MEAT JB any examples of this?
You just got a sense of how well-behaved he was… just holding back from treating her like a heckler at a show.
definitely working on the not snapping I noticed that too lol. she was also aware of how easily he could destroy her, toned it down real quick after that intro lol
and everything he described was 100% LA: crap drivers (u dont have to slow down that much on a right; they cut the speed by 3/4), and arrogant jokers who hate their jobs
My thoughts the same, he seemed to really restrain himself
i think if she wasnt a fellow comedian he would have embarrassed her but he really held back yeah
She definitely gives me manipulative psycho girlfriend vibes. I’ve had more than one of those in my younger days, and they are exactly like how she was acting
and i think that is her genius going back to the characters she did on Crank Yankers.
@Michael Rivelio In her own vast head space, yes she is
@Khatharr Malkavian that doesnt make it funnier
@Careful Icarus and you never fly to close to the sun either
@chilliecheesecake and objectively speaking as a person with eyes and ears, hes not wrong
This is hilarious - and even when Bill salvages it, she dives right back into the awkwardness- which tbh, is totally Sarah's thing. I don't always get it, but at least she's consistent.
She's uh... "not from around here". This is what their humor is like. Awkward and cringe, when it's not outright potty humor.
Thought the same. His wife is watching.
@ThreeWellsProven She started off by saying "he makes her fucking ctazy!" I knew immediately!
😂😂😂
If anyone can turn casual conversation into careening mischaracterization, it's Sarah Silverman.
@Elyria I hope to god you aren’t actually comparing Silverman to Norm Macdonald
I don't know. My theory here is they had a secret relationship and we're seeing some of that here. It's in the way Bill tries to casually play it off and she says I'll show you. Notice he doesn't clap back at that one. This is Bill Burr we're talking about. He always claps back lol I think they had a spat or it ended and Sarah's getting him back. Just my theory
Bill's stories are amazing.. simple, relatable and hilarious.
@GoreTorn do u know her?
@L You don't even know the beginning of it.
@GoreTorn lol well damn.. Ok buddy. Idk she seems more neurotic than anything. But go off
The moment at 6:12 is the best moment from this entire bizarre interview. Bill Burr’s intelligence and sense of humour is finally withered away by her confounding and inane comments😂
@RealityCode oh absolutely she’s mega cringe, but at least there’s a hint of self-awareness about it
She's envious of his notoriety and reeks of insecurity here.
I'm pretty sure they dated. She wants him to be this type of guy he's not blah blah blah. Sounds like dating doesn't it? Lol
I love his response to her trying to sum things up in her own narrative and Bill is just like “….okay 🤷♂️”
Most awkward Bill Burr interview, he saves the moment by telling his avocado toast story. Bill Burr on Conan is always awesome
That’s because Conan knows what he’s doing.
Bill saved this interview by acknowledging how awkward it was and then circled it back to comedy.
@GRIM Squad Dude she is easy funnier than Bill. She through him softballs this entire interview, she purposely set him up for jokes.
He couldn't save Sarah unfortunately. I would have quickly interrupted her before she embarrassed herself but Bill is no hero lol he's only human.
@JelloFluoride you serious or sarcastic
I had a crush on her when I was like 11 because I thought she was just playing a character like gilbert gottfried. Now I realize she's actually just crazy.
Only here for Bill Burr, she's annoying as usual. How is not being funny a job in comedy?
This is a classic case of two comedians. One is professional, incredibly funny, an expert of the craft . . . and then there's Sarah.
@ms yusuf I haven't seen much of Sarah but judging from just this video this comment is accurate
Oh shut up. They're both good and professional comedians. JFC.
This might seem uncomfortable, but I feel like this is a genuine and honest conversation that these two would have behind the scenes as well
@Obsolete Elite Nah dude... maybe not "behind the scenes from Silvergal anyway... but IMO Burr's not got another mode... Genuine all day every day....(Example.... Marie's Berries
Sarah's a bit of a douche IMO cos of the obvious EARLY left BS steer etc... but she gained a bit of cred from me cos Bill knocked braincells with her, with manners. A fine line from nutty silerballs and proper real burrLAND.
You tripping dude
Genuine? You’re out of your mind.
Bill burr is a real old-school comedian and I love it 🤣
“I fucking hate people who hate their jobs, especially a shit job” Bill Burr is my spirit animal.
"Get something out of that" is such a beautiful checkmate to do to a talk show host who needs to keep the audience entertained haha
@Mark Hemmingsen dammit you stole my reply! 😂😂😂
I bet the “Board” is spelled b-o-r-e-d. I know its the opposite of what you said but it was classic line.
This was actually painful to watch. I have a feeling Bill walked straight out the front door with the audience, got in his car. Collected himself then 5 blocks away he said "what the fuck was that"
@stoneykye Amen.
How was this painful to watch grow up
That is 💯 what happened.
True. I also think he got a lot of material out of it. His, "are you serious?" comedy is gold.
And poor Bill just being like 😕
@Jeepers McGee Just so long as you admit you know nothing. How are they a "ditz" for seeing things slightly different?
@SpaceOwl It's how a lot of his fans are especially if there is a woman involved. Many of them are similarly foul in that podcast he does with his wife even though he'd be angry to read what they write in the comments about her. Because Silverman isn't his wife they probably feel even more emboldened to post their weird narratives.
They use to date Mann Sarah is hot though!
@SpaceOwl Amy Schumer is also unfunny on purpose for the same reason, I guess
@SpaceOwl you might be a ditz
They're a great comedic duo. If the awkward tension was planned, then they're genius
@treis531 That's the joke....
No it wasn't dummy
6:20 is exactly the thing. She's made her mind up about Bill. Because she thinks he's a simple puzzle to be worked out and he just needs to see her point of view about how he is because she's so completely right about everything.
She’s like the popular, funny chick that’s introducing the new funny guy to her own friends for the first time and being paranoid that her friends are gonna think he’s funnier and more interesting than her which he undoubtedly is.
This was definitely awkward. But also great. I laughed a good couple times.
Imagine how weird you have to be to make bill burr uncomfortable in an interview
@J R McPherson no he isn’t?
he is always uncomfortable
She was awesome in Way of the Gun 😂
@AC ok snowflake
@GRIM Squad XD
A Bill Burr Masterclass on how to deal with co-workers who pretend to like you, but deep down resent how unapologetically authentic you are! LOL
I laughed way harder the second time I watched this. This interview is gold
I found this interview refreshing, funny, awkward but good awkward, and more interesting dialogue than the normal TV stuff. Not hard to watch, good to watch.
sarah stop making alt accounts; it was painful
I can relate to the restaurant story. I started as a dishwasher. Moved up to cook. And even waited tables and cooked when the waitress called in before we opened. And I crushed it.
I fuckin nailed it as a bartender and door to door salesman
It's not rocket science. Just have to care and try.
I was a lead cook/grill master for a burger joint for two years plus a night closer. Shit was crazy but killed it lol never had a complaint or return on the food I cooked.
Probably best interview ever, just to see Bill so uncomfortable 😂 He managed it like boss 👍
Yes this was pretty awkward. Sarah's mistake was trying to make their friendship ( if it even exists - might be only a casual thing like with a co-worker) be more than it is. On top of that she was playing therapist and analyzing Bill hoping he would confirm her analysis. That backfired miserably.

He wants to have fun or promote shit he's working on, not be pyschoanalyzed every time he is interviewed. He clearly has worked on himself and doesn't want to talk about it anymore.
Basicly gave him the mom talk which is the one thing bill hates the most I think
It was a underhanded pitch she knows damn well he never texted her it’s material
Good for tele tho
Wow Bill saved this interview. Sarah's whole schtick is simply making interactions "awkward" and "uncomfortable" and there in lies the "funny".
Nice to know Sarah Silverman is as talented as an interviewer as she is as a comedian
@M Rocha you're so bright
Well if that's true, this show is as good as canceled.
I see what you did there...haha
@M Rocha No I love Sarah Silverman. Due to a heart condition I faint when I laugh. Thanks to purchasing her comedy specials this is no longer a problem. If I’m doing something where fainting could be fatal I just listen to her stand up and know I will be safe.
Is this sarcasm?
She was trying to “big sister” Bill Burr. Don’t try that… Don’t do that… Bill doesn’t need life coaching.
Exactly. No one enjoys being sponaneously psycho analyzed. Not sure why people think thats cool to do to others, especially when they didn't ask for your opinion
He gets enough of that at home
It’s like you run into a girl at a party that you slept with one time, and you find out she tells everybody y’all were engaged at one point
Bill Burr is an epic human being. He's a unique blend of everything that is right with the world.
Burr tells hilarious story that finally gets the audience into it. Silverman ignores it entirely and goes back to being really awkward.
The story was lame af
He's an old-school liberal. The contemporary lib has become a bit different.
Yea but thats her schtick, though... I love Silverman.
Bill is a liberal, maybe. But Silverman's a regressive.
It's what I love about Bill Burr he never backs down to the mob and if the mob has a figurehead as far as comedians go it is this person. You keep being you Bill.
He was holding back.
This is what happens when you confront real talent to someone like Sarah S. She deserved that. Good job Billy 👏
As Bill did say at the end, its one of his favourite interviews. Sarah talks honestly from her perspective even if that doesn't match Bill's and it's off the cuff.
I actually love this interview. It’s so, so dry and real
When Bill Burr pauses... you know he was holding back... that is scary.
Fuck that Avocado Toast!!! 🤣
Bill lost his edge. He use to be able to call out bullshit, but now after Disney got to him he has to be responsible with his jokes. I miss the old Bill. He's gone.
"scary"
That avocado and salmon toast story was absolutely incredible 🤣🤣
This was fantastic. This is one of the most insightful interactions i've seen. Not scripted, honest. I know both of these people more now.
@Luxaley not at all lol u serious?
dawg you missed the whole point. she’s also a comedian. it was intentionally uncomfortable
I love these two they’re very clearly trolling each other 😂
This is like a horrifying first date
Wow amazing take
“How’d your date go”
“She’s PC and hates my guts, it was awkward and for the last 10 minutes I trolled her until the check finally came.”
*phone rings in the middle of the night*
“Clarissa? Umm, hi.”
“What are you doing right now?!”
“About to go to bed, what’s up?”
“Come over so I can do dirty things to you!”
Me in my head (WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED).
So is everything involving sarah silverman.. luckily bill burr is here to make the audience laugh
Lol this is just a moderately bad date.
!
She’s as good at humour as she is at interviewing. Make of that what you want.
Bill burr is such a legend 😂, he’s so funny he doesn’t even need to say much
Part of what it makes it awkward is that she doesn’t really laugh at all when he’s making jokes, just sits and stares at him with a weird smile on her face.
I love how Bill is constantly trying to be physically away from her without leaving that chair
@Telcontar86 "Nia would body the hell out of Silverman imo"
I agree. Combine that with "you're after my man" rage and Sarah would be in trouble.
@SighNaps Nia would body the hell out of Silverman imo
@Terry Gunnell No he doesn't dude. Watch any interview with Bill Burr when he's among friends. He sinks right into the chair like he's stoned - clearly comfortable. He was trying to GET AWAY in this interview. lol
@Elephant you can tell your friends you love them???
Honestly, the audience reaction was a big part of what made things more awkward or tense than they should've been. Bill & Sarah were vibing off of what was emanating from the crowd.
Nah, Bill's on another level, Sarah's just not likeable.
Nah, Sarah just giving Bill a crappy intro was low and she didn't expect Bill to make her look weird.
true
The only thing awkward about this is Sarah trying desperately to show a kind of relationship they obviously don't have.
Love Bill, brave, honest and hilariously funny.
Bill managed to take her awkward text comment about death funny. I’m not the biggest Burr fan but the guys a genius
I remember the first time I saw Sarah Silverman in something I thought she was hilarious and then I watched a second thing with her in it and realized I was wrong the first time
Should change the title to "The very last favor Bill Burr ever did for Sarah Silverman"
@Greg Smith Just imagine if they saw the Sarah Silverman program on comedy central 🤣
Sarah can really trigger the angry right wing incel crowd
@First Lastshe needed to do the research. It’s her damn show.
I think we're seeing the byproduct of a secret relationship bleed over into TV 😆 He says I never said that she's like I'll show you and he shuts the f*** up about it lol Maybe it ended and she didn't want it to and I don't know. I think there's something more here lol
This feels like visiting that weird relative you hardly see, and quickly realizing why you don't.
She’s staring at him during the avocado toast story, thinking, “Damn, I wish I was half as funny as he is without even trying."
when she said "I think that's how you hear a lot of things".... look at the face bill makes. Priceless
Her gaslighting is a “micro aggression”
Telling Bill he doesn’t like that she’s got him figured out based on daddy issues…super toxic. She’s got issue w/ non-submissive men.
@Jason Scroggin daaaaaaaamn, how long have you been a firefighter to know that fire is hot??
I don’t see how keen observation is a sign of inceldom
daaaaaamn, how long you been a psychologist??
Even Bill Burr couldn't even hide obvious fact that he couldn't wait till this interview ended... He is a legend.. lol
What do you mean “Even Bill Burr...”? He would be the one person who wouldn’t hide his discomfort.
Lol. “Well I feel like this was a good interview”
Awkward when your guest calls when the interview ends 😂😂
And years later Bill is absolutely killing the Game and Sarah is well who know's.
I'm only reminded Sarah Silverman exists when other comedians decide to make fun of her. Which happens a lot now that I think about it.
@Kirito2016 you're probably very street smart.
Kinda feel like you're telling on yourself here if that's what all the psychiatrists you know tell you.
Hence the dog example : ) I actually got bit by a small dog when I was 6
@Ayata Hiragi I hope you’re not saying this while on SSRI’s or something.
Tbh I think she just likes trying to make Bill uncomfortable 😂 It really wasn't that awkward. I feel like I've seen way worse interviews.
Harmony Corine's multiple Letterman interviews are the best XD
I bet Bill left this interview with the EXACT same feeling he had with the salmon avocado toast and an over ripe banana in his hands.
"My instinct is fuck this, walk out"- Bill's feeling about this interview.
Bill just stops caring mid way and starts doing standup to save it
@Daniel Lilly haha top shelf comment
@Shinobi-No-Bueno Wow. This isn't two people having a private conversation or genuine interaction. It's two comedians on a set in front of an audience and cameras. Trying to apply psychoanalysis without context will always give invalid results.
Aren't people aware that every talk show is designed to showcase the comic's act to promote them, not to have a real conversation? ( 4k likes is crazy- Check youtube for proof this is standard)
Exactly
Bill is just like a pit bull, he reads your energy.
If you have watched other Bill Burr interviews she actually played this smart because she made him feel awkward first otherwise he would have ripped her to shreds if she tried to act normal and level with him seriously
When an interview turns into a psychotherapy session. Bill was a really good sport during this debacle.
This is my favourite interview ever….it’s so cringe that at one point Bill literally has to cringe away from her touch….awesomeness
I live for awkward bill burr interviews. This is gold!
@Jorge Gonzalez Theo Von’s podcast interview with billburr is pretty painful lol. Also h3h3 podcast had him on and that was pretty awkward and funny too
What are some other ones? I too want more of this hahaha
When Bill points out his own body language to her I died laughing
Fucking brilliant
@Ry Line hahahaahaaa👀Dark
@Some Guy mom and dad missed you.
At least you own a dog house now
Back from the grave bitches! I died laughing and was resuscitated by my dog
I feel like she lives in her own world... she's literally talking to herself. It's so awkward
Edit: it's like she kidnapped him into memories aswell as imaginary assaults, as if his comedy was designed to be an anti-love letter to her personally
Chill
Bill is Bill and he’s just pure honest and funny all the times
I relate with Bill Burr on so many levels. Also, why doesn't Sarah Silverman age?
Y’know it might be a bit awkward but I personally loved this, it was funny and a genuine conversation. Didn’t really sense anything but good vibes off this interview.
This is Sarah confirming if people like her or not...she needs that reassurance that people 'like' her so she can keep her 'career' going and feel better about herself
I think Bill Burr is actually a philosopher disguised as a comedian
I hate to have to break this down for some of you in the chat, but a comedian was not the same thing back in ancient Athenian times as what the word means today. Billy burrrrrr just took that Netflix money and changed, that's about the size of it.
Socrates was actually a comedian; telling truths of the real world are funnier than fake world nonsense.
This is why Sarah Silverman will never be funny…..
@NOBODY LMAO
Like most comedians
He is just Bill, trying to be Bill.
It’s funny how she turns after her closing remarks to have one silent final interaction with him on front of the crowds, to sort of smile off the awkwardness…and he’s gone LOL.
This is the first time I’ve seen Bill Burr be cool and gracious in a weird situation.
This were the hardest 7 minutes and 30 seconds I lived through
Sarah knew exactly what she was doing. Making Bill Burr uncomfortable is hilarious.
Payback
Sarah Silverman: we love each other
Bill: bruh wtf I'm married
"Nobody's funnier than Sarah Silverman, except dudes."
~Norm Macdonald
Coming for this
RIP to a Legend
I too have anger issues, from years of pent up rage, so I completely understand and laugh extra hard at nearly everything he says
Damn he carried that interview like a true champ. I would have walked out
I feel like they are trying to poke each other in just the right way. Comedians interviewing each other is the best . They make it so the audience is as uncomfortable as possible but inside they are dying from how hilarious it is.
It’s hilarious to me that not a single person in these comments disagrees about how uncomfortable this interview is lol
I think he enjoyed it more than commenters are realizing. They are both comedians.
Bill is doing his best to keep things funny. Sarah is wanting to confront Bill about *something* and is trying to pass it off as comedy. What a trainwreck.
@Gross Little Goblin guess she forgot about the part where comedy means you’re supposed to be funny…
@Matt Wix spoken like a true b3ta
@Matt Wix lmfao, the entire intro is bizarrely forced and awkward simply because she tries to force it so badly, all she had to do is stop
I have never seen a more disconnected interview. The more it progresses, the more it feels like someone made a compiled video where they put together questions and answers from two different interviews...
She is the only modern female comedian I like I’m not sure why that’s the case but I like her comedy
No matter what Sarah Silverman says or does, I will always love her for Vanellope von Schweetz. Best voice acting I've ever heard this side of Mel Blanc.
