So the way this works is this: You start a Campaign YOU CAN NOT EXIT THE MISSION. If you exit, that mission gets an X and if you exit when you were caught the next missions will be harder LOVE THIS You lose all your weapons in the mission if you quit. You lose all your weapons forever if you bring them in and die! This means no more learn a level then restart you have to stay the whole time to complete! I love this style and it means you will see more mistakes and random things no more always perfect stealth! A fresh change for the better!
@Nikolaj der Burner I'm on Xbox. I pause the game, hit the homebutton, select any other game and start that. It wil force quit Hitman. Than start Hitman again and I'm back in the safe house, no guns or Merces lost. I can also pause the game, go into settings and disable my internet connection. Game will go to main menu, without me losing stuff. 🙂
@Diligence Humility You do though? You can find it from suppliers again after you lose it lol Also, if you fail a mission, if it's alerted or a showdown you go back to the start of the campaign and lose your tools (but not your guns, weapons, or collector's edition tools), otherwise you just alert another territory, lose money and, if you lost by getting gunned down, lose anything you had on you at the time (you can exit the mission early to fail it but not lose your equipment, which is an important tactic to keep in mind)
I don't like the fact you can lose a weapon forever. I don't like when progress is being taken away and locked away. They should let us re-earn the lost weapon somewhere down the line, for an increasingly higher price maybe. Do you lose progression on previous missions, if you fail a mission? That I also wouldn't like. But other than that, great game mode, really cool.
When you do sound distractions (bullet lures and throwing items), guards will always take investigation priority if they heard it as well, unless the other npc is way closer. i.e. guard heard sound but is behind a wall and other npc is next to you. P.S. There are specific guards that have "bodyguard" ai, they will not follow any sound lures/distractions at all
Hey strain glad to see you back on making videos hope your recovery is going well hope your family's doing well and hope your daughter's appointment went well the other day glad to see you back man that that's awesome!
I totally agree I love the Hitman 2 silent Assassin game. When he was in the area where he could have stuck him in the cabinet I would have went into the restroom turn the faucet on made the guard go turn the faucet off then execute him and stick him in the cabinet.
@7even I like 47 but isn't he like a cartoon? I think Randyw1111 meant to say 47 is a fictional character. I think he thought why would the Op care a fictional character cared to have a house if he's not real and can't feel. I don't know how that indicates someone's age. How old do you think "that makes" Randy? People here don't have to get upset just cause Randy may have misunderstood people. You're kinda proving Randy right if you're getting too uptight over a character.
@wy guy gaming Players get to customize 47's house, which is fun gameplay. It's just cool to see houses. It also makes characters feel more real and personable. The house gives the player something to earn. It's tied to his base, which is cool that his base is under his house.
I'm not sure you could've knocked him out/chucked him out over the railing next to Yamazaki's room (if that's what you were planning on doing) There's a glass pane there, not an exposed railing. Glass shatters irl yes, but in this game, in that particular section, it's a solid object
That's like a dream, I love Stealth Games and I love Souls/Roguelike Games... and now it's the ultimate Combination! So glad, you enjoy this too! Thx for the upload!
This is full circle centerstrain, the faith has alligned, and i hope your health is improving, your little girl and wife are doing great..... i am happy to see oldschool strain.... stay awesome
@Hethien You can play the Hitman trilogy and not the Freelancer. In the trilogy, the ICA provides some weapons and tools for you, you only have one or two targets usually, it doesn't make you have to kill them a certain way, Diana helps you more, you don't lose weapons, you don't have to do detective work, and you can follow story lines to help you kill the targets.
It is stressful, Spend hours on a campaign and die you lose everything you had on you, lose the progress in the campaign, and lose have the money you have earned up to that point. Made me extremely disinterested in playing Hitman for awhile. Yes I uninstalled.
Target walks straight passed a bathroom, would have laid a trap at the 2 minute mark, I’m really enjoying freelancer test location knowledge and the need to improvise on the fly
Hahah dam this new mode is hard. and the challenges are killing me. I'm so use to stealth, shotting out camera, opening doors, and pacifying people. But alot of the challenges have not doing that. So super fun, just taking a bit of brain rewiring lol
New watcher here and commenting before watching... I have seen plenty Hitman videos without stealth or them getting caught... I really hope this doesn't disappoint me....
@Centerstrain01, I love the video, I have been looking forward to this mode since I love the idea of losing items but I just wish some of the items weren't so expensive. I spoke to a supplier and the weapon she had that I needed was 40,000 mercers.
@The ENColony It was day of release so it could have been a glitch but it could also be a code mess up since I just found a collector's weapon for 1 merces.
@Scaro BloodBlade I just pulled up the game and found a seller carrying the collector's sieker. That's the one that's 40,000, so that's what you saw, unless it was some very obscure and rare glitch
@The ENColony So one of the dart guns was a collectors edition which it never said when I saw it and shouldn't have been 40,000. I don't think they set it up right since I will have to spend hours upon hours just to get it for my inventory.
You're being proper patient haha. I noticed when you threw the hammer, the game audio is out of sync because I heard the effect of it being thrown before you did it.
High-risk high-reward that's what I like about the Hitman franchise is high everything like assassination in the real world one slip-up and it's game over
Maaan!!! I LOVE your videos!! I watched the whole Splinter Cell Conviction series in your channel. I’m starting Hitman Freelancer too…and oohh boyy…this mode is not for noobs xD
Freelancer feels to me like what Hitman should always have been. Before I played a mission once or twice, now there's a really addictive loop to go in again and again. I really hope the devs get this feedback and expand a whole lot more. Maps and missions specifically made for this mode, more sandbox elements, more mechanics specifically designed for this mode. This feels _a lot_ like what Hitman always should have been.
I like how the trilogy is too, and with it's own stories. Why not have both? I feel Freelancer doesn't fit with the ICA storywise cause 47 has to buy his own weapons and tools while the ICA provided it. Back then Diana would tell 47 "let me know what you need and I'll get it for you". 47 also has his own base in Freelancer, which I don't think he would have if he had the ICA. I think Freelancer also follows the trilogy story where 47 whistleblew on the ICA and ruined them, so he's not working with them anymore. Hence, he's a freelancer, and in the beginning of Freelancer, Diana said he was on his own.
Few things... you start with 1120 M and you could have taken out a courier for more M and then maybe buy a fibre wire or coin or something from the supplier.
This game mode is difficult, but I like that. They're not holding your hands in this one. I don't recommend this mode especially if you haven't played any of these game's in the past.
@Victor Fox how you have the loadout in safe and can collect weapons and keep them from previous missions no if they added the mode where you can add the drums better hit power for weapons lasers they have new clothes and skins coming but it could just be me but I like it I literally played all day back at it 8:15 am 😂😂😂
So basically, it's all levels from the trilogy with 0 changes and a random NPC(s) chosen as a target with random additional complications. I wish they made some changes to the maps tbh.
They said they're not making more Hitman and that the main story ended. They're working on another game. This is the most they can do. Like the elusive targets. They added a house and base for 47. They did make one more map of Ambrose island.
I only have one tiny issue with Hitman, going forward. It's a really tiny one. I can't take Diana Burnwood seriously anymore. As to why, well, whenever she speaks, I only ever hear Rogue Amendiares or Selene Vassos, but with a posh accent plastered onto them. It doesn't help that Rogue basically has Diana's job, just in a slightly more rough-and-tumble manner.
I like that Diana's voice is gentle and classy at least. I wonder why they didn't get a British actress. Why do you mean by rogue has Diana's job? Diana is still talking to 47 in Freelancer sometimes. I'm glad Diana is still around and helping 47. It's cool that even with the ICA gone, Diana still helps 47.
Do you need to start hitman 3 to start freelancer?I downloaded the game few days ago just finished part 2 went to freelancer after finishing part 2 went straight to freelancer and nothing i can’t Stat it not sure how that works
I want Hitman 3 Deluxe I'm always interested in the video games which offer more in them also enjoy Angry Game Nerd too . 🎮 🎮 🖥 hello agents let's go kick some bad guys tail bottom .
@Real Hitman is not just waiting. There's different ways to kill targets. Like with poison, electricity, dropping things on people, explosions, etc. In the trilogy, there's story lines you can follow. Targets don't have to be alone. They can be killed in front of people if it's set up like a accident. You can also shoot people in front on people stealthily.
@AJ wut? I don't say that. Obviously victims are alone sometimes, and than you kill them. Much fun I say, really. Have a good time with this, waiting for the right time. Waiting simulator.
@a But you aren't though!! You are clearly being shown who to run straight up 2. Some people do like that, I don't because it defeats the entire purpose of identifying targets. They should add more for players that don't rely on HUD. I always play my games with Limited - Zero HUD. You get more immersion, and I love that.
@Motormouthbonez You are still identifying the target. Which some players got wrong sometimes. I don't see what's wrong with a little help. It's like elusive targets. Without help, it'd be too difficult. Especially with all the npcs moving around and some of them looking alike. You don't have to use instinct if you don't want to. I don't see why others can't if they want to.
@Seiferblade my point is that they sold it as a new mode where you have to find these people for YOURSELF. It is impossible to find them for yourself without using Instinct. The showdowns have it kind of right but still shows you the potential suspects...... That GLOW or have icons above their head. Too easy and a pointless mode
It only highlights the potential suspects. You still have to identify the true Syndicate member using the intel provided, and there can be as many as 6 suspects on a map sometimes
I don't see what's wrong with this mode if some people like it. Even tho I don't really like this mode where you lose a lot myself. Then there's some people saying this is how Hitman should be. You can still play the trilogy. What's wrong with the lootboxes?
So the way this works is this:
You start a Campaign YOU CAN NOT EXIT THE MISSION. If you exit, that mission gets an X and if you exit when you were caught the next missions will be harder LOVE THIS

Lmao, that have always been my approach to the game.
@Centerstrain01 oh. Yeah. It doesnt matter. Guide him in a room...

This Is That Old Skool Hitman 2 Silent Assassin Type Vibe
@TOW TRUCK Genius...... ABSOLUTE GENIUS
I totally agree I love the Hitman 2 silent Assassin game. When he was in the area where he could have stuck him in the cabinet I would have went into the restroom turn the faucet on made the guard go turn the faucet off then execute him and stick him in the cabinet.
I am happy that 47 has his own house
@wy guy gaming Same here. I am not very good at freelancer either but I enjoy it a lot.
Thank you. I was just teasing. I am 38 FYI. I enjoy playing hitman as well as everyone here. I am not very good though.
@wy guy gaming the fact you think he's a cartoon, tell us how old you are without you saying a word, don't be crying "Groomer" kiddo
I'm not sure you could've knocked him out/chucked him out over the railing next to Yamazaki's room (if that's what you were planning on doing) There's a glass pane there, not an exposed railing. Glass shatters irl yes, but in this game, in that particular section, it's a solid object
I think Im going to enjoy watching you play these more than your "perfect" runs (which I also really like).
This is too stress-full for me and I hate rogue-like elements in games but I’ll admit it’s a cool and in-depth new mode they added to the game.
@Hethien That’s the premise of a roguelike. They can be unforgiving so it’s certainly not for everyone. Fortunately, it’s not the only mode
It is stressful, Spend hours on a campaign and die you lose everything you had on you, lose the progress in the campaign, and lose have the money you have earned up to that point. Made me extremely disinterested in playing Hitman for awhile. Yes I uninstalled.
Bringing home guns that you picked, just like the old Hitman games
I'm hoping IO bring this a similar mode to their upcoming James Bond title, because they would be awesome!!
LOVE this mode. difficulty spike. realism spike. 3 thumbs up
Target walks straight passed a bathroom, would have laid a trap at the 2 minute mark, I’m really enjoying freelancer test location knowledge and the need to improvise on the fly

Well......
When he thought he lost the hammer but he just threw it a bit to far 😂😂
Can't wait to see my favorite stealth KZclipr play this mode, I'm so stoked!
Oh stuff happens Strain, still nice job gg! Looking forward to seeing more Hitman freelancer
I know these series of videos are going to be great
This is such a refreshing mode
Actually was pretty excited to play the freelancer game mode on Hitman 3 world of assassination just letting you know that
@Centerstrain01, I love the video, I have been looking forward to this mode since I love the idea of losing items but I just wish some of the items weren't so expensive. I spoke to a supplier and the weapon she had that I needed was 40,000 mercers.

@The ENColony I saw the Sieker and it was 40,000.
@Scaro BloodBlade the non-collectors sieker/kalmer tranqs are 4500 if I remember correctly
I didn’t know you lost equipped weapons ! Ooo I love the fear of losing things. Gonna be great
High-risk high-reward that's what I like about the Hitman franchise is high everything like assassination in the real world one slip-up and it's game over
Maaan!!! I LOVE your videos!! I watched the whole Splinter Cell Conviction series in your channel. I’m starting Hitman Freelancer too…and oohh boyy…this mode is not for noobs xD

@a Hmm, interesting. The story always clashed with the actual gameplay loop for me. I wonder if there's a better way to resolve this conflict.

You're the OG Hitman. Great seeing you still playing this game.
Loving it!
Few things... you start with 1120 M and you could have taken out a courier for more M and then maybe buy a fibre wire or coin or something from the supplier.
3:11 - Rouge type game mode. I'm blushing.
But this is a very clever mode. Can't wait to see speedruns of it.
This game needs more hand to hand combat
it should have been like this from the beginning its a mix of silent assassin and hitman blood money i like that.
The safe house downstairs has the contracts training area vibes and upstairs dianas home in absolution
Let's go, Freelancer with the Master of stealth
So if you miss one of the objective bonuses can you replay the mission later on?
Does anyone know if the vault unlock allows you to do as anything or store some money
This game mode is difficult, but I like that. They're not holding your hands in this one. I don't recommend this mode especially if you haven't played any of these game's in the past.
This is HUGE W i love rogue like implemented elements
Yo W pfp & chanel banner🔥
Cra,y how I found you all these years later, much love
17:12 You didn't open the Supply Box... You get one Freelancer Tool everytime you get back to the Safehouse.
Bruh you making me wanna re-download this game fr
The isle of seagal sounds like a reality show where people try to demonstrate the most effective fake martial arts moves.
It is wonderful game mode.
This is so fucking Legit!!!!! Unreal DLC! 👍
I do love this game.
Blind guard and blind target are done with a flash grenade
Lol I keep dying on my 3rd mission 🙃 😭
The sound was a few seconds ahead... at least for me but otherwise great video
Be playing since noon😂😂😂 10:28pm it has that blood money feature but better it’s challenging 😂😂 but I like it so far
What kind of blood money feature?
So basically, it's all levels from the trilogy with 0 changes and a random NPC(s) chosen as a target with random additional complications. I wish they made some changes to the maps tbh.

I'm glad you make this...
Because I don't have so much nice pc
Thanks for making it
was this the beta? because i can assure you that 5 mercers for the explosives is not correct. It's more like 500.
HITMAN AND DEADSPACE!!! YES!!!!!
is the freelancer mode playable in offline mode ?
No
I only have one tiny issue with Hitman, going forward.

I think I detect the accent of a fellow countryman! 👌🏻🇩🇰
more hitman lets go!
We need "Hitman: Work From Home"
I download this last night cant wait to go home tonight
Do you need to start hitman 3 to start freelancer?I downloaded the game few days ago just finished part 2 went to freelancer after finishing part 2 went straight to freelancer and nothing i can’t Stat it not sure how that works
For my mission I put a c4 in a trash can and waited for him to walk past and then blew him up
Thanks for videos strain
Are these maps from the older game modes?
How about a shout out to IO for giving us FREE content. Not seeing anyone giving props for that
I'm so lost this is hard. How do i find and eliminate the QUACK???? who is the quack??
Is it just me or does the audio not match up with the video?
How do you turn off the top UI data, it breaks the immersion of the play.
Bro there was so many spots before where u could kill him
Me yelling at my Tv @ 29:40 like a 5yr old watching Dora the Explorer "It's right there!!!" 🤣🤣🤦🏻♂️
4:13 it's not much but it's honest work 😔
I want Hitman 3 Deluxe
I'm always interested in the video games which offer more in them also enjoy Angry Game Nerd too .
🎮 🎮 🖥
hello agents let's go kick some bad guys tail bottom .
superb upload
isnt that diana’s line?
"follow the victim until he's alone, than kill it". much fun.
Yeah cause targets NEVER isolate themselves right? Like they ask the guards to stand in the bathroom stall WITH them and make them stare.
@Centerstrain01 is this mode available offline???
The audio and video for this episode are a little out of sync.
🔥🔥
Audio is not synchronized, its a sec off.
So this dude just running around in a building while everyone disregards it
I am happy with io , which is rare these days when devs suck
Shoutout center! 🙌
Got destroyed my first time out…
I blew up myself by accident because i drop the wrong thing
At 15:31 1,120 M was in his account before he played
Thank you
It is random so making specific videos is not working. Sorry love the vids in general. Keep it up.
I don’t think walking behind the target the whole time is a good plan like actually try wtf like do the poison dart challenge shoot him from far
Thanks
Thanks for the donation, buddy.
audio and video are not in sync
There’s something seriously wrong with your audio sync.
Is this à New mission or what ?
Know what I understand you wanna figure out his patter
This mode is way too easy. You have to find the agents for yourself or just press R1 and it shows you their exact location 😂😂😂😂 WTF!
That was a long tutorial lol
No saving? Really
I got my showdown in colorado😭😭😭😭
F
Why didn't you buy anything from the dealer?
The dealers just mostly sell guns. You can kill in plenty of ways with the environment. Which I see most players do.
I never bother, personally. Though I am a veteran of Hitman games lol.
It’s expensive
When you spawn in Hokkaido in morgue, it's bad, VERY FUCKIN BAD
When i died they put me in a hospital recovery room type in my safe
@Centerstrain01 when I failed in Hokkaido with alert two suspects enter in room where I hiding
Same for Isle of Sgail if you have no items hahaha
Try Colorado and heavy alert. Couldn’t even get off the water tower.
I don’t think you listened to the tutorial
This is not how the next hitman game should be no, rogue like doesn't fit it outside an optional game mode, and sure as hell no lootboxes
I don't see what's wrong with this mode if some people like it. Even tho I don't really like this mode where you lose a lot myself. Then there's some people saying this is how Hitman should be. You can still play the trilogy. What's wrong with the lootboxes?
