I highly recommend Dan Carlins “Wrath of Khan” podcast if you’d like to hear in-depth about the mongol rise to power. 5 episodes and between 3-5 hours each. Great storyteller
@mark fourtwenty Well first off would you even believe because I think there were people in the Bible who saw miracles but still doubted. Jesus doesn’t even have to do that. Would you believe if you saw that or would you think you had an hallucination?
@Connor Lancaster to proved everything he says is true, he has to proved that he rose from the dead first...It will only took tiny fraction of his time and power to show himself at the sky for 1 seconds and billions of non-believer will believe...I guess he's too busy to waste even 1 second of his time for his dearly beloved humans...
@mark fourtwenty 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 you got it wrong my friend. Jesus rose from the dead which Proved Everything he says is true. Even while Jesus was on the cross even the people said something similar to what you said but they were wrong. We have 25 thousand ancient manuscripts of Jesus more then any ancient man. So if Jesus was the most written up person in the ancient world and we don’t even have his bones. So how come the most popular the most radical world changing person but we don’t have his bones But we have the bones of Muhammad though. Not to mention we also have 500 eyewitness of the risen Christ and the apostles are a witnesses. Why would they die for something that is a lie?
The temptation to completely change world events would be too much let alone the other endless possibilities with time travel which would pretty much make you a god
From the show "Draining the oceans" they were able to discover that the fleet that tried to invade Japan had poorly built ships which couldn't stand the rough storms of the deep sea. They were mostly Chinese and Korean coastal fishing and merchant ships. If they had prepared proper war ships things might have taken a different turn.
Great summary, its really great knowing history in this peaceful time, but I feel pity to those people in the path of war, it took everything from them.
@Connor Lancaster It is impossible for a man to live a life without sin. He who says he has no sin is a liar (1 John 1:8). But Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit so we might become more like Christ each and every single day. It is not a license to sin. It is a means of growth.
@James Olson Did Jesus die so you can stay in sin or that you turn from sin? With the help of the Holy Spirit we can stop sinning. Jesus did say to the women caught in adultery to go and sin no more. So do you sin intentionally?
@Connor Lancaster I do my best, but my merit is not mine. Jesus died for me because I could not obey Him fully. He gave me His righteousness. So now I strive to live my life for Him out of thankfulness.
Meat-eating Mongols were probably a huge factor when Genghis Khan expanded his empire. Some historians discuss the fact that Mongol soldiers were superior to Chinese soldiers because the Mongols ate a diet with high-quality meat and fat, making them strong and healthy. The Chinese soldiers were fed mostly rice which made them weaker. Also, the Mongolian soldiers ate a lot of raw meat and did not have to prepare food during wartime, which also gave them an advantage on the battlefield.
@Connor Lancaster If jesus was God he wouldn't die. We don't believe in false desert cults. We Hindus simply believe Jesus to be a preacher . He was not God.

@426mak there was no unified Russia to conquer Russia or the Rus didn’t exist until after the mongols were long gone. The Russians actually conquered even Mongolia eventually so your example is wrong mongols couldn’t even protect their homelands for 500 years after Ghengis died very impressive when the last time a foreign power conquered England was a thousand years ago.

You wonder if the world might have been different without losing a hundred thousand warriors or even double that on the way to Japan. Who knows how powerful they would've become after conquering the entire Asian region and even slightly beyond that. As every area they conquered, that countries people were forced to join their army.
Genghis Khan is my favorite barbarian. He literally conquered Europe, from coast to coast, and he believed in whole measures. You were either with him or dead.
If the Vikings could mess up Europe, imagine a similar force that uses horses and can keep throwing bodies. Ofc the Vikings' conquest was a about a century ahead of the Mongols, but back then technology wouldn't have progressed much either. Also if Genghis Khan had pursued further, I'm sure many European kingdoms would have surrendered and paid tributes just like in the case of Atilla the Hun.
Gheghis Khan wasn't alive when the Mongols went into Russia, but Europe was lucky that the great khan was dead by then, they would have been conquered ,trust me. His grandsons were no gheghis khan.
Never get involved in a land war in Asia: Unless you are the Mongol Never invade Russia in winter: Unless you are the Mongol Never...Unless you are the Mongol
Even the Mongols couldn’t conquer Vietnam. Most historians believe it was because of the tropical diseases which the mongols and their horses were not used to

@Cheko Enkh at that time China was even more divided: Wester Liao, Western Xia, Jim Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Dali Kingdom, many people are impressed by the conquest of Mongol Empire in 13th century, building the biggest empire, but in my opinion, this kind of conquest doesn't last, the best for the Mongols is to do what Dzungur Mongol Empires does: unify Mongolia, Xinjiang and Tibet first, than spends several centries to consolidate and create a commun identity, based on Tibetan Buddhism, if the Mongols manage to do that, todya Mongolia will still be a powerhouse in Asia, just like Japan before WWII, if Japan has stopped when Japan has already Korea, Taiwan, Manchuria and Pacific islands, then spedn decades to absorb them, Japan will become number 1 in Asia, when China remained divided, ita coastlines dominated by Japan, Mongols and Japanese invaded a divided China, destroyed the different kingdoms and factions in China, but it is not a wise strategy, since they need to face a emerging unified Ming Dynasty and Communist China later, so the Anglo-Saxon's strategy of dividing Europe, but not conquering it, seems to be more realistic,
@Emile Chen At this time were Mongols too divided. There were many small parts of nomads and Mongols didn´t get help of anyone. Munkh Khan killed not by Song soldiers. His bruder Khubilai Khan killed him.
at that time, China was divided under Western Xia, Western Liao, Jurchen Jin, Dali kingdom and Song Dynasty, when Mongol fought Song Dynasty, also they also have the help of other Turks, Muslims or Northern Chinese, so it is not simply 1 millions against 50 millions, and the Great Khan Mongke was even killed by the Song soldiers during the siege of Diaoyu city,
I hope you start including Hindu gods and mythology and shine a light upon it coz many people don't know about it/are ignorant towards it, but it's actually a lot fascinating and complicated but in an interesting manner.
mangudai or manguud is a tribe name... also tenrism and shamanism is same thing there few types of shaman's, shaman's that call on ancestors that takes about 90% and it is common mostly they serve heavenly dieties in heavens, the next group shaman's that rely on spirits of mountains and rivers they take about 9,9% they are weaker at the start but once they achieve 99 river mountain blessing they get very strong also they can curse people with little or no consequences and the very few would achieve diety of the heavens shamanism i have only heard few stories about them never met one
I went to high school where teachers confused and wrongly lumped together the Mongols and the Huns. Today, their respective legacies can be seen in the national names of "Hungary" and "Mongolia". They are not close geographically or in terms of chronology. We need better education in the U.S.A.
My history teacher taught us that Henry Ford invented the automobile. And she’s furious if somebody is correcting her, like a flat earther would react if engaged in a logical discussion.
Yeah, the fact that Mongolia invaded Russia in the midst of winter while Germany couldn't do it with MUCH more soldiers and industrialization more than half a thousand years after is astonishing. But Mongols were more wild, and their climate is closer to Russia's than it's case with Germany.
Subutai is considered by historians to be one of the greatest generals of all time. He was the chief military strategist of both Genghis Khan and his son Ogedei. The Mongol Empire is documented as the largest land empire ever. Subutai had a lot to do with this but history generally fails to properly give him the credit.
First build ” Hunnu” Empire Moduni Shanyu at 205 year, efter manga year 1206 Chinges Khaan build ” Eh Mongol” Empire! Who is fist our Empire ( Moduni Shanyu before Chinges Khaan) ❤️
Kublai Khan was never the great Khan. In fact he was a fat lazy failure. But had a mind for technologies. He needed the help of Mongke Khan to defeat China. It was Mongke who was "great Khan". Plenty of other mistakes as well. But that was the most glaring. And it was an overall, a good accounting. Funny how the mighty Hulegu' and Batu Khans were barely mentioned. Both were the spearheads of most of their greatest expansions.
TBH never knew they were that savage to takeover lands. I can’t imagine being the invaded, sleeping and suddenly a bunch of strong men claim the place I earned.
There was no Russia at the time buddy. It was Russ, it wasn't the size of Russia and it was a bunch of little kingdoms that hated each other. The Russ wouldn't lift a finger to help the other neighbors and one by one they felt, but even so their small little kingdoms gave the Mongols a run for their money. If Russ was united the Mongols would had probably failed.
Oh really? Then what do you make of the facts that Mongols had successfully annihilated and brought down highly civilised and military powerful Empires like Khwarazm and whole Chinese kingdoms. They weren’t just tiny little kingdoms like Rus and Ukrainian principles. Yet these countries fielded way more soldiers than entire Mongol population in that time and age.
So basically their empire became too large and spread out to govern leading to new developing factions further diluting the Mongolian empire into oblivion.
Ironically, the open minded approach of the Mongols was also their undoing. The Mongols separated by vast distances, eventually adopted the culture and religion of their respective area. The mongols in middle east became mulsim, Mongols in europe became christian and the Mongols in east asia became sinofied. This of course led to rival factions and infighting. Eventually the Mongol empire was succeeded by smaller regional powers that slowly became smaller as centuries passed. A lot of empires up until the 20th century claimed legitimacy through Chinggus khan's lineage. I find the later khanates surviving into world wars fascinating. Their increasing struggle for survival and eventual genocide is tragic.
How does Mongolia raise too many Mongol warriors during the time of Genghis Khan when the population of Mongols nowadays aren't that many. Did they migrate to other areas like Canada and reached America to become American Indians, or did they migrate to East Asia and became the people of the countries there by cross marriaging other tribes.
Great documentary! One minor point in grammar: 6:06 'if it were necessary to fight closer combat, the Mongolian warriors could...' This appears to be a mistaken usage of the subjunctive mood (hypothetical 'if'). A careful analysis shows that the sentence should be 'if it was necessary to fight in closer combat...', or even better, 'when it was necessary to fight in closer combat...' (this correcxt version is the first conditional ('factually speaking') sentence past tense, expressing a real possibility in the past, as opposed to the 2nd conditional present tense, which expresses an unreal or improbable possibility ('hypothetically speaking'), which uses a simple past tense verb, with the additional stipulation, in cases of the ' to be' verb of always using 'were' instead of 'was'. For example, 'if I were you...' means, hypothetically, 'if I were you (right now)'... Actually, the phrase in this documentary, ' 'if it were necessary to fight closer combat,' means, roughly, 'hypothetically speaking, if it were (right now) necessary for the Mongolians to fight closer combat...' (,which is certainly not the intended meaning here.) We can infer that the meaning in this documentary was intended to be an indication of a very real situation, or real possibility (not just 'hypothetically speaking') in the past, eg 'If it was raining at that time, ...', or in this case, 'If (or when) it was necessary for the Mongols to fight...' Sorry to be so picky, but I am of the opinion that a documentary of such a high caliber as this deserves to be expressed in grammatically correct English. , 'if it was necessary to fight in closer combat...' 'when it was necessary to fight in closer combat...',
You forgot to cover the part the Mongols tried to conquered Vietnam 3 times and failed all three, and the part they were preparing for the 3rd Japan invasion but changed their objective to Vietnam also the 3rd time after Vietnam refused to pay more tribute to the Yuan empire.
@ichka odko no, I referring to the Yuan army invading Vietnam 3 times, got whole massacred and kicked out. No, Vietnam never becomes a vassal state of the Yuan, Vietnam paid tribute to avoid getting another invasion from the Yuan but Vietnam was still independent on its own.
Yeah this guy's overview seemed very basic and it seems like he only covered bits that he liked. Though to be fair, there were so many wars happening at the time and many mongolians today don't even know we invaded places like vietnam, java or lithuania.
Tanguts are manchus. The jalair mongols (inhabited modern day buryatia and northern mongolia) are the ancestors of the khalkha mongols. Also genghis khan proclaimed the “eh mongol” empire not “eh turk” empire, why else do you think modern day mongolians are FAR more steppe nomadic traditional than any turkic people today.
@idk the golden horde of mamai was able to amass 150,000 at the battle of kulikovo. The 200,000 that invaded hungary included armies from satellite states. Go read more boy.
@Qalid Osman Abdi incorrect. Before the mongols came germany alone has an estimated 5k castles and fortified towns. Hungary destroyed a 200,000 mongol horde with just 50 western style castles and a few thousand heavy knights.

Full story?? There are big missing part when Mongol (Kublai Khan) experienced huge defeats against Majapahit Kingdom, Nusantara (Indonesian today) in 1293 AD. Also got defeated by Delhi Sultanate (Indian today) in 1306 AD.
@Jonathan Ghostnobody is proud of genocides. Bərkə Xan rebelled against the mongols after seeing how many Muslims were killed. He installed Islam in the Golden Horde. Allied with the Mamluk Turks against the Ilkhanate of Persia. Bərkə Xaan was a grandson of Çiñghis Xaan.

Alexander conquered more in person, khans empire was greatly due to his descendants and generals. Alexander died at age 32 and ghengis lived to 65, Alexander also fought in all his battles and lead from the front. He had many injuries on all of his campaigns, he also never lost a single battle. Imagine if he had lived as long as ghengis??? That’s why Alexander is the greatest military mind of all time.
@VntiHero still can't beat what genghis has achieved and also subedei was tought all his knowledge by his great khan genghis the most merciful king that ever lived in human history!
@Mohican Theluststar Miliatary academies still study Alexander, not ghengis. Subutai was the brains of the mongols, Alxamder is the best miltary mind in history, and most historians believe so as well.
@VntiHero and also only nations who fought whole united mongol army was Khawarizm(spelled it wrong) and china and was also defeated by mongols even though outnumbered mongols!european most elite united army was embarrassed by scouting troops of just 20k mongols ! Never had to face against 100k whole troops of mongols like khawarazimian shakh sultan! And china!
The Mongols lost a few but mainly their regional armies against Berbers and India and main army against Japan and probably Viet. Gengis Khan captured larger territories if I'd count everything from his tribe to unite the Mongols and expansion in Iran and China. Personally, Alexander captured more territories than Gengis but as the Mongols(from Khan to Kubalai) captured the largest land territories than Alexander overall.

"I am the scourge of tenger(sky, heaven), if you hadnt commit such sins god wouldnt have sent a punishment like me upon you" Sounds like Christian religion to me.
@Blank Blank maybe ha
@Michael Oliver gotta see a Disney villain say this
I am the punishment of god, if you didn’t create such great sins god wouldn’t of had sent a punishment like me upon you
at the time was Mongols under 1 Million. But China war very strong and over 50 Millions. But Chingis Khan had good IQ.
@Emile Chen wrong its even below 1million , they dont let the civilian fight lol ! the mongols always mobilized an army of 40,000 at his best lol.
@Cheko Enkh at that time China was even more divided:
Wester Liao, Western Xia, Jim Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Dali Kingdom,
many people are impressed by the conquest of Mongol Empire in 13th century, building the biggest empire,
but in my opinion, this kind of conquest doesn't last, the best for the Mongols is to do what Dzungur Mongol Empires does:
unify Mongolia, Xinjiang and Tibet first, than spends several centries to consolidate and create a commun identity, based on Tibetan Buddhism,
if the Mongols manage to do that, todya Mongolia will still be a powerhouse in Asia,
just like Japan before WWII, if Japan has stopped when Japan has already Korea, Taiwan, Manchuria and Pacific islands, then spedn decades to absorb them, Japan will become number 1 in Asia,
when China remained divided, ita coastlines dominated by Japan,
Mongols and Japanese invaded a divided China, destroyed the different kingdoms and factions in China, but it is not a wise strategy, since they need to face a emerging unified Ming Dynasty and Communist China later,
so the Anglo-Saxon's strategy of dividing Europe, but not conquering it, seems to be more realistic,
@Emile Chen At this time were Mongols too divided. There were many small parts of nomads and Mongols didn´t get help of anyone. Munkh Khan killed not by Song soldiers. His bruder Khubilai Khan killed him.
at that time, China was divided under Western Xia, Western Liao, Jurchen Jin, Dali kingdom and Song Dynasty,
when Mongol fought Song Dynasty, also they also have the help of other Turks, Muslims or Northern Chinese, so it is not simply 1 millions against 50 millions,
and the Great Khan Mongke was even killed by the Song soldiers during the siege of Diaoyu city,
I wish i could see this historic event like peabody and sherman
This channel taught me more than my history teacher ❤
Plz make a video on the ottomans :))))
Mongolian history always fascinated me. And I could watch this another time and not be bored. Watch Marco Polo 2014. Very entertaining. I recommend.
The TV play is full of mistakes
Too bad it got cancelled , the 2 seasons they have are great though
@retlavius I definitely will. Thank you. 😊
U should read Conn Igguldens novel book series on the mongol history. very intresting and entertaining
I recommend that show all the time
I hope you start including Hindu gods and mythology and shine a light upon it coz many people don't know about it/are ignorant towards it, but it's actually a lot fascinating and complicated but in an interesting manner.
Kinda like Kama ?
mangudai or manguud is a tribe name... also tenrism and shamanism is same thing there few types of shaman's, shaman's that call on ancestors that takes about 90% and it is common mostly they serve heavenly dieties in heavens, the next group shaman's that rely on spirits of mountains and rivers they take about 9,9% they are weaker at the start but once they achieve 99 river mountain blessing they get very strong also they can curse people with little or no consequences and the very few would achieve diety of the heavens shamanism i have only heard few stories about them never met one
This is some great work
That artwork is insane!!!
fascinating history. mesmerizing artwork.
The Nirun Mongols included the following tribes: Adarkin, Artakan, Arulat, Baarin, Barlas, Borjigin, Bugunut, Budaat, Belgunut, Besut, Geniges, Jadaran, Joureid, Dzhurkin, Duglat, Durben, Kilingut (incl. Great job 👍 the artwork is 👌🔥
Western history: You cant invade Russia during winter.
Mongols: Hold my bear!
You mean hold my aaryg (fermented horse milk(
Yeah, the fact that Mongolia invaded Russia in the midst of winter while Germany couldn't do it with MUCH more soldiers and industrialization more than half a thousand years after is astonishing. But Mongols were more wild, and their climate is closer to Russia's than it's case with Germany.
Great video: Thanks for the upload!
Subutai is considered by historians to be one of the greatest generals of all time. He was the chief military strategist of both Genghis Khan and his son Ogedei. The Mongol Empire is documented as the largest land empire ever. Subutai had a lot to do with this but history generally fails to properly give him the credit.
I finally watch the movie Mongol year 2007 how Genghis Khan lead his armies against his enemies
Excellent presentation 👏👏👏👏
Please make a video about tengri and this is a very informative video about the mongols
The mongol reign fascinates me. Thank you for the video.
First build ” Hunnu” Empire Moduni Shanyu at 205 year, efter manga year 1206 Chinges Khaan build ” Eh Mongol” Empire! Who is fist our Empire ( Moduni Shanyu before Chinges Khaan) ❤️
and Attila the Hun between them both
Again another great video!
I suddenly want to play aoe2 again. This is where my fascination with the mongols began.
the map at 16:40 is a little off for north vietnam or dai viet, it wasn't conquered. It resisted all 3 mongol invasions
Wow, I can see this was the inspiration for the Dothraki in Game of Thrones
Northern India wasn't under Mongols.. that's a wrong map shown in this video
Oh god it's actually like listening to a child who makes things up as he goes.
The Mongol nomadic way of life is almost identical to the Lakota plains tribes. Except we hunted buffalo and lived in hide tipi’s.
Amazing artwork !
where can i download this great Art work ?
wow, great empire
TBH never knew they were that savage to takeover lands. I can’t imagine being the invaded, sleeping and suddenly a bunch of strong men claim the place I earned.
@Soufiane kadari they were tho
Rico Her thank u for admitting u did not know that the hungarians destroyed the mongols during the 2nd invasion. Lols
Great video but you shoud've included the siege of Baghdad
You're missing a very important piece of history. They tried to conquer Vietnam 3 times and lost all three.
The world needs a purge like this again.
You didn't mention mangoles are stopped by Mamaalik in Egypt, a famous battle called Aynu-Jalut.🤔🤔🤔that was a turning point of TATAR.
He focused on their wins & not on their Demise 🤔.
In 1260 Egypt strong Mamluks defeated and destroyed the Mongols army in Palestine.
I warmly recommend Conn Iggulden's Conqueror series
This here deals only with their victories n brutality...they also suffered defeats..in Africa for example. All this should also be mentioned.
It’s just wild how similar nomadic mongolians were to native Americans
Same root in Siberia. Huns had close relations with native americans(Dené-Eniseian)
That's their ancestors.
I now see where trails of cold steel took inspiration for the Nord Highlanders
When he uses bannerlord graphics 😍😂
No surprise they're the worst faction to fight against
As ,the Hu’ fan this is interesting. I have also watched ,Marco Polo’ series on Netflix about Mongolian empire.
I watched Marco Polo when I working in the Gobi. Its a very strange feeling watching historical drama when you are sitting in a yurt 😂
Most of the main cast are Chinese haha. Also that show was only mainly about the Great Khanate/ Yuan Dynasty.
Does anyone know who the picture at 04:41 is from? Looks amazing
Probably in Mongolia
Epic Documentary. The mongols were, evidently, fierce nomads. Some say The Great Wall of China was built to ward them off
@Hosea Rono Great Wall was not build by China, if you look at the wall, all santinels faces China. Arrows spaces faces China, and so on.
@Arcade I didn't know that. Thanks 🙏
@Joshua Emmanuel Mendoza Then that’s prove my point even more innit
@Toroonoo1 the Rus and Ukrainian principalities, in fact, when united, are much stronger than other civilizations.
The Mongols were nomadic barbarians , great achievements what they they did against more accomplished countries.
This was a great video, to bad that show Marco Polo on Netflix is cancelled!😳😠
Legend has it that the typhoon that wiped out the mongols the first time was actually a rogue samurai referred to as "the ghost"
”Honor died on the beach” -Jin Sakai
Very interesting
Thank for this history
I need to thank you im a mongolian you guys make the best history videos
Who is the Fantastic illustrator that did all the drawings?
Why is it that I am mostly concerned about their fall?
How does Mongolia raise too many Mongol warriors during the time of Genghis Khan when the population of Mongols nowadays aren't that many. Did they migrate to other areas like Canada and reached America to become American Indians, or did they migrate to East Asia and became the people of the countries there by cross marriaging other tribes.
They kept the pheasants and made them a part of his own army, all race, and all religions welcomed. A real leader
They just wanted to survive and thrive
Great documentary! One minor point in grammar:
6:06 'if it were necessary to fight closer combat, the Mongolian warriors could...'
This appears to be a mistaken usage of the subjunctive mood (hypothetical 'if').
Actually, the phrase in this documentary, ' 'if it were necessary to fight closer combat,' means, roughly, 'hypothetically speaking, if it were (right now) necessary for the Mongolians to fight closer combat...' (,which is certainly not the intended meaning here.)
We can infer that the meaning in this documentary was intended to be an indication of a very real situation, or real possibility (not just 'hypothetically speaking') in the past, eg 'If it was raining at that time, ...', or in this case, 'If (or when) it was necessary for the Mongols to fight...'
Sorry to be so picky, but I am of the opinion that a documentary of such a high caliber as this deserves to be expressed in grammatically correct English.
, 'if it was necessary to fight in closer combat...' 'when it was necessary to fight in closer combat...',
He is gramatically correct no matter how you justify your comment.
Nobody cares about your grammar correction. “IF” everyone understands what he is saying, that is all that matters.
You forgot to cover the part the Mongols tried to conquered Vietnam 3 times and failed all three, and the part they were preparing for the 3rd Japan invasion but changed their objective to Vietnam also the 3rd time after Vietnam refused to pay more tribute to the Yuan empire.
@Chí Thiện Nguyễn
-Not a vassal state
-Paid Tribute
Hmm ....
@ichka odko no, I referring to the Yuan army invading Vietnam 3 times, got whole massacred and kicked out. No, Vietnam never becomes a vassal state of the Yuan, Vietnam paid tribute to avoid getting another invasion from the Yuan but Vietnam was still independent on its own.
are you referring to that vietnam who paid tribute and became vassal state of Yuan dynasty?
I am sorry who?😂🤣😂
Yeah this guy's overview seemed very basic and it seems like he only covered bits that he liked. Though to be fair, there were so many wars happening at the time and many mongolians today don't even know we invaded places like vietnam, java or lithuania.
Good video 😊
And this is why you never do gavelkind succession
Imagine some went back in time and equipped the chinese villagers with guns. 😂
The Song Dynasty had gunpowder
Thank u Jesus amen
The tangut people are mangur and kalha mangul people but gingishan is turkesh and his trips also
Tanguts are manchus.
Thank you lord Jesus
How is there no mention of the invasion of Iraq, and the battle of Ain Jalut!!
The US military doctrine today is ‘we do deserts, we don’t do mountains’ but the Mongols still conquered Persia/Iran
Once europe figured castles and heavy cavalry rekts the mongol tumans, it was gg for the mongol empire.
@idk the golden horde of mamai was able to amass 150,000 at the battle of kulikovo. The 200,000 that invaded hungary included armies from satellite states. Go read more boy.
@I bash Communists a mongol 200.000 horde? in 1300? u think there´s a country capable of having a 200,000 army in medieval times lil man?
Lol you talk to much
@Qalid Osman Abdi try researching 2nd mongol invasion of hungary. The mongol horde got utterly destroyed with just 50 western style hungarian castles.
@Qalid Osman Abdi incorrect. Before the mongols came germany alone has an estimated 5k castles and fortified towns. Hungary destroyed a 200,000 mongol horde with just 50 western style castles and a few thousand heavy knights.
Make a video of the Mughals please

Great replies!
Full story?? There are big missing part when Mongol (Kublai Khan) experienced huge defeats against Majapahit Kingdom, Nusantara (Indonesian today) in 1293 AD. Also got defeated by Delhi Sultanate (Indian today) in 1306 AD.
As a mongolian this content made me proud of my ancestors. Thanks man
Mas Goy!!!😊
@Қазақ_Қыят卐قازاق_قيات russia/china 2021
If you guys want to change gingishant to halha mangol man you can call gingis hontaish and change all his sun's and herous name to halha mangol name also trips so you have to make a new history
Largesse1000 how could uncivilised people defeat civilised people and build empire?
Alexander conquered more in person, khans empire was greatly due to his descendants and generals. Alexander died at age 32 and ghengis lived to 65, Alexander also fought in all his battles and lead from the front. He had many injuries on all of his campaigns, he also never lost a single battle. Imagine if he had lived as long as ghengis??? That’s why Alexander is the greatest military mind of all time.
Japan: hold my sake!!!
@VntiHero oh yeah one more thing did u just mention japan ? Lol japan was saved by tornado otherwise they didn't have any chance against Mongols!
And china!
@See U in History How did you combine Kyiv and russia??? Kyiv Rus and moskovia are not the same, just in case you didn't know
The Mongols lost a few but mainly their regional armies against Berbers and India and main army against Japan and probably Viet.
Gengis Khan captured larger territories if I'd count everything from his tribe to unite the Mongols and expansion in Iran and China. Personally, Alexander captured more territories than Gengis but as the Mongols(from Khan to Kubalai) captured the largest land territories than Alexander overall.
alex who?
Lol buttburt much even chingis khan conquered more land than alexander...
My ancestors. Today I'm a 4 veil shaman
Genghis Khan never attacked any country unless initiated or intimidated first...that was one reason why he never attacked India.
