@mattsrcking Lol You have been flying for about 30 years what Remote Control Airplane Lol now don't change it. You have been flying a toy and I have been flying a real Plane because I am a Private Pilot who flies a real Airplane and flies myself not with Remote Control with my own hands Lol. And I have FAA or TSA permission also.
Your a brave soul for allowing him to fly that beast. I guess you did not see what happen to the new jet he got and wrecked sort of in the first 5 minutes LOL! Anyway that Jet is seriously so bad ass!! What a unit.
@LION TAMER they actually aren’t terribly difficult to fly. Similar to an aerobatic plane but a little less responsive Plus simulators help prepare you for the way the plane flies
@LION TAMER At this level, you're using a simulator to learn things like that. They have them specifically for RC where you're using your actual controller and the whole lot. Saves a-lot of money.
Thanks for the memories, I was a B-52 Crew Chief in the Air Force and was around all kinds of jets. There is nothing like hearing one start, they all sound similar but it's something you never forget. 👍
I came here years ago for fast junk yard cars. From mini jet boats, RC cars and planes, tanks, jet boat track racing, and certain Fords, you guys literally love everything I do except BMX. Best channel on the youtubes, hands down. I haven't missed a vid in three years. Just keep living the American Dream and bringing freedom to all us loyal supporters! Scotty Cranmer now lives in FL. You should take him for a ride at the FF.
I'm convinced I'd watch this man do just about anything at this point. Track maintenance, grass growing, painting, rc cars and planes, drag racing, drifting, jet boats, it's all so entertaining and wholesome.
I use to be pretty big into RCs but never ventured into the flying or boating aspect of the hobby but dang if it isn't entertaining just to watch. Makes me miss my old brushless velineon powered Revos and rock crawlers that were $500-1000+ rigs at the time. 🤘
I really appreciate the diverse content on the channel. Drag racing is obviously the focus and most common thing but the mix of different stuff breaks it up nicely a bit.
The beautiful thing about RC is how it brings different ages together.. There is older guys that build jets that cost 4 times plus the jet in this video that have younger guys fly them.. Racing off-road RC I've seen a guy in his 70's with a 9 year old girl standing right next to him and they were racing.. I'm not exactly a spring chicken myself and my eyes and reflexes are not what they use to be but I have a ball.
I grew up flying all kinds of planes with my dad. This has to be the most realistic RC plane I've seen. I had an eerie chill watching this thing fly. I know he was somewhere digging it with me, too. WOW
Outstanding! Vectored thrust and canards look like a blast in RC! I wonder if you can buy scale RC Vulcan bomber kits these days..... been out of the loop for decades.
Again. These things are MOVING. This footage is SO good. I don't think people even remotely understand how hard it is to film these things. George is doing a literal, actual super human job filming this from what? 15 feet away? God damn.
man you guys should put an accelerometer in the cockpit to measure the g forces that would be felt in such maneuvers. This thing is crazy badass, that takeoff was incredible
I have the pleasure of living on the same exit as the freedom factory, it truly is the next driveway over from the freedom factory. Love these guys, I try and make it to every event because I know it’s a blessing to be this close to it all
we have one of those an EDF form with thrust vectoring, but you see that specific jet turbine with thrust vectoring is pretty cool you'd be surprised that jet right there can literally do a flat spin and come out 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That looked like a takeoff distance record to me (I'm not officiating just casually observing) And if that wasn't impressive enough the man on stick punches the pedal and (guessing the G-Force hits a 10) does a hard vertical climb into a momentary free fall stall. F I R E C R A C K E R FLYER! I'm not totally sure but he may have even achieved inverted flight at one point as it looked to me. And who doesn't love a nose up slow descent into a stationary position. In the words of Buster Poindexter: "Pilot at this this party was Flying Hot Hot Hot"
I would be interested in seeing some G meters on board that beast! I am really liking the aviation side of the channel it's awesome! The variety is great with everything y'all got going on. Hell ya brother!!
Maybe it's something that exists but I think I would want a camera on the front and use like a virtual reality head set so I could have more of an " in cockpit flight experience " I think I would have alot of trouble keeping up with something like that without something like that not sure how the guys do it!
Literally up there at the top pinnacle of what RC can do. I always imagined getting up to this level one day, but its certainly a bit rich for my blood
I saw someone comment about putting one of those turbines on a scale model of Mullet, and I have to say that is an amazing idea! Figure out an "afterburner"!
The last plane my late brother built was a 6ft long ducted fan jet that run 10s. He took it to an airshow and it was clocked through the speed trap at 380kph, he also backed the run to claim the southern hemishpere speed record for a ducted fan jet.
Tip for George when filming RC planes - try not to zoom in quite so much. Zoomed in is good because you can see the plane closer, but zoomed out gives a much better perspective and gives a better feel for air speed, altitude, acrobatics etc. Much love brother!
Being a helicopter guy I'm surprised Cleetus doesn't have an RC BlackHawk or something. I remember watchign a video a long time ago with a large scale turbine powered Hind D helicopter flying around, man that thing could have been used for movie shots, pilot and craft were super smooth. Also one time when I was in GA with my dad (who flies RC planes), he took me to a RC airshow and we got to see a massive RC helicopter that a Japanese man imported from Japan and hauled around in a box truck with a hydraulic lift. The helicopter could lift about 90 pounds and was meant for use as a crop duster in Japan. Design wise it looked like your typical RC helicopter but the fact that it was so big and he needed a lift and box truck to move it around because of size and weight. I think it was about 200lbs, I could be way off on that, it was around 20 years ago. But it was heavy enough that he didn't want to lift it himself and walking it up and down ramps into his last truck was annoying.
I would love to see your team and the trucks you gave them on an off road rc track. Likely some would laugh until they peed themselves, and others would race dirty to win ( all would race dirty, except maybe Sam!)
Man it's awesome that you're giving the rc community some love now we just need to get you on the right path with helicopters be cool if you came to ircha 2023
You should get 5 of those and fly them in formation over the FF before big events. Be even better if there were a way to make them able to use acrobatic smoke oil.

Absolutely love these rc vids cleet!! Definitely not the content we expected but its the content we didnt know we needed 🔥🔥. Keep it up man, you have been absolutely killin it lately💯🔥
You can tell Cleetus has a lot of practice because he's never even really been nervous even flying B2 through the tunnel. Or with a jet glued to the back of it.
i really want one of these. I have a BVM Ultra Bandit and it's crazy fast. Takes a long runway to take off and land. This will fly in much shorter fields.
Just did some quick math. That's about 5.5/1 ratio scale. Somewhere on your property a scale replica of an Aircraft carrier would make for a pretty cool personal runway. Just need a Tomcat and some Seaking helicopters to go with it
my uncle builds custom RC planes and he had a 1/4 scale Oracle Challenger bie plane, he also builds competition aerobatics RC planes and his planes have won the world championships a few times. i used to watch him and my dad at our local RC airfeild it was so much fun i want to get back into it but i want big and that cost $$ lol this was sick!!!!!!!!

I don't think Matt had the full recon on the RC performance on Mr. Cleetus MacFarland. While watching Cleetus doing a 20 circle death spiral I kept picturing a $10,000 write-off with Matt becoming a new boat owner, Just Like That!!! Shazam!!! When Cleetus did the 200 mph low fly past, the camera didn't capture it but I swear it did one of those death defying dips that spells Ranger Danger, with Jackstand Jimmy at the controls...anybody for a roll-over? Thanks for another entertaining video. I'm looking forward to the time that Cleetus gets a ride with the Blue Angels or Tom Cruise.
I know its short but this should be on your main channel man after all the hype over rc content this is exactly what ive been wanting to see but i didnt think it was possible so i never commented it
Honestly, if I had 10k to spend on something like that I totally would that is so sick but first I would need like a year class so I don't mess up my first flight 😂
I love how even the models sound like big boy jets!! Love watching this stuff Garrett, still want the main channel for Leroy and the rest of your 4-wheeled fleet (plus the tank), for my $.02 but I'll watch it wherever ya upload it, so long as it's quality content still ;)
Dude now this is what I'm talking about I can't believe the speed of those little ones !!! This is crazy, there a guy in my state selling one this size for $1,000. Complete rtr
Just got the email with FF 2023 schedule, "Tour of Destruction" This is what Ive been waiting for since the first tour of the track, HELL YA BROTHER!!! I'd also recommend a whip-around race, 5-10 laps but you turn around and race the other way each lap (best done with slower cars like stock, wore out 4bangers)
I'm loving the RC flying content! I flew RC a few years ago but lost access to my flying field thanks to greedy real estate developers. Something Cleetus is dealing with too unfortunately.
I used to understand your feelings…but now that I’m older and have developed a sense of empathy, whenever I hear someone get upset at losing an empty field I can’t help but hear: “Yeah how dare civilization continue developing within our civilization! THE NERVE of new jobs, homes, or critical infrastructure causing a space to become useful to more people than it was initially”
By the way I just notice that when Matt landed on the final pass and drifted off the tarmac, Cleetus had about ten blue 45 gallon garbage barrels strategically placed on either side of the tarmac ... has that boy learned nothing for the orange traffic cone fiasco.
Just like before, it was so much fun hanging out with you guys! Really enjoyed flying for you guys!!
Thanks again for inviting me!
That fly by was sick
Matt you should race one of Cletus’ cars
@mattsrcking Lol You have been flying for about 30 years what Remote Control Airplane Lol now don't change it. I really like that plane.
You should get a small fleet of these planes to do a flyby at your next event, it would be epic.
Definitely, flown at the right height they'd look like full size ones to the untrained eye.
Dude could probably get the actual blue angels if he wanted
Best idea yet!!!!
Seeing an RC plane pull off that Cobra maneuver is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen.
@LION TAMER they actually aren’t terribly difficult to fly. Similar to an aerobatic plane but a little less responsive
Plus simulators help prepare you for the way the plane flies
@LION TAMER At this level, you're using a simulator to learn things like that. They have them specifically for RC where you're using your actual controller and the whole lot. Saves a-lot of money.
Imagine "practicing" that without boning the plane into the ground lol
oh yeah these things are far more capable than any real jet because of how much thrust they have. I saw one of these in real life and man was it cool
Thanks for the memories, I was a B-52 Crew Chief in the Air Force and was around all kinds of jets. There is nothing like hearing one start, they all sound similar but it's something you never forget. 👍
That thing is too cool! Super neat to see you bringing RCs to the channels. We need this sweet action on the Cleetus channel!
Hi hillo

I'd have to agree . His is the only channel I can watch any and all episodes front to back top to bottom and never have to fast forward or skip around
You forgot about the tank and being a scientist!
but until he owns a falcon or commadoore his not qualified to do burnouts in Australia yet
Haha we’ve all watched him clean bleachers. Kinda weird if you think about it
1000%
I use to be pretty big into RCs but never ventured into the flying or boating aspect of the hobby but dang if it isn't entertaining just to watch. Makes me miss my old brushless velineon powered Revos and rock crawlers that were $500-1000+ rigs at the time. 🤘
I really appreciate the diverse content on the channel. Drag racing is obviously the focus and most common thing but the mix of different stuff breaks it up nicely a bit.
Ok, I’m not an RC’er. But I have absolutely been entertained by all the RC content. Way way more than I should be at my age 😁🍻
The beautiful thing about RC is how it brings different ages together.. There is older guys that build jets that cost 4 times plus the jet in this video that have younger guys fly them.. The whole point of rc anything is that you revert to 5 years old OMG AWESOME the whole time you're doing it lol
I worked an R/C air show years ago in Indiana. They had some insane thing sup in the air, it was so crazy seeing what these things can do.
I grew up flying all kinds of planes with my dad. This has to be the most realistic RC plane I've seen. I had an eerie chill watching this thing fly. I know he was somewhere digging it with me, too. WOW
As Cleetus fan, and fellow Rc enthusiast, I cannot get enough your new addiction!
I appreciate you doing this extra filming for us.
I agree, but defo not new, cleetus first videos were of RC boats, before he worked for 1320 video!
Outstanding! Vectored thrust and canards look like a blast in RC!
I wonder if you can buy scale RC Vulcan bomber kits these days..... been out of the loop for decades.
Jets are always cool to watch. It's amazing to see the aerobatics you can do with some of them.
Again. These things are MOVING. This footage is SO good. I don't think people even remotely understand how hard it is to film these things. George is doing a literal, actual super human job filming this from what? 15 feet away? God damn.
@Chile2011 take that somewhere else.
I tried filming some planes and I can admit tracking them is absolutely impossible with a telephoto
@Chile2011 worry about yourself🤡
LOVE THE RC CONTENT!
love the timelapse stuff tye and the build team does. let them shine my friend. they are gems
man you guys should put an accelerometer in the cockpit to measure the g forces that would be felt in such maneuvers. This thing is crazy badass, that takeoff was incredible
Y’all’s entire setup is so nice. The fact your shop, the track, and your flying field are literally all within a mile or two of each other is amazing
@BEP BEP ouch! That boy needs to get himself an Rv and just go home on the weekends!
@Bounder Chris except George. He drives 2.5hrs from Gainesville everyday.
They used to be very far from their shop… hours a day in commute for all of them.. now they are all close
I have the pleasure of living on the same exit as the freedom factory, it truly is the next driveway over from the freedom factory. Love these guys, I try and make it to every event because I know it’s a blessing to be this close to it all
The flying field is next door to the shop.

George has stepped up his camera work. Kept it in frame like a pro.
Sending George to an elite film school would be such a hilarious McFarland movie 🎥
MY MUSIC SHALL GO UP THIS YEAR🦋💙
The subreddit r/praisethecameraman lol
Honestly probably easier since it's bigger even if it is going faster.
Edit: I agree though his skills have improved.
That thrust vectoring and front canards are game changers as far as flight envelope goes.
I couldnt do it. Thinking about the lawn dart potential would make me stick to slow fliers. Good video!
You’ve gotta love the Eurofighter/Typhoon shape I used to see it doing it’s test runs flying around the Northwest UK in 99-2000 , an amazing aircraft
don't stop the RC content! growing up RC cars, planes, helicopters and boats were my videos games I wasn't much of an indoor cat.
Literally up there at the top pinnacle of what RC can do. I always imagined getting up to this level one day, but its certainly a bit rich for my blood
Sweet honey barbecue
I feel like it's been a while since ive heard him say this
No, rc plane
hhhhh😂
honey barbecue sucks ngl lol
Sweet indeed!
Was at the airfield in West Delray yesterday and saw a guy take up an F-16 version of this. He had his set to roll coal at full throttle it was epic!

We need a GO pro strapped to one of these for a POV of a flight!
FPV all things!!!!
We absolutely need that.
Would be sick but might have too much drag
110% !!!!!
Damn you, I didn't need another rabbit hole to go down....lol

Nice to see yall keeping the RC alive out there. Excellent jet performances.
I love how less than 60 seconds into flying it Matt's already showing off. Well played sir, well played.
Yeah no kiddin right. I was like, ok this guy knows what he's doing. Lol
Thank you!!
I kind of want to see how fast the rc planes would go in a 1/4 mile.
every time i see these things all i can think is how cool it would be to be flying them from VR goggles with a camera in the cockpit.
I would love to see your team and the trucks you gave them on an off road rc track. Likely some would laugh until they peed themselves, and others would race dirty to win ( all would race dirty, except maybe Sam!)

That vertical take off was sick
Short roll take off into a vertical climb.
@Skeptic Fucker It was sick yes but Bob is correct. A VTOL does a vertical take-off and landing. This was not a vertical take-off.
@Bob Crow I thought it was sick, no clue what your problem is.....
What are you on about it was not a vertical take off it was a steep climb.
You should get 5 of those and fly them in formation over the FF before big events. Be even better if there were a way to make them able to use acrobatic smoke oil.

Dude! I turned into a little kid when he made that fast pass. I could feel that in my house. Wow!!! Thanks for posting!
Cleetus needs to take McFarland aviation to the next level and talk to people that have the RC Commercial Boeing models. Those things are huge :)
That was one amazing plane. Owner is a very skilled stick man. Cleetus ain't too bad either. A blast to watch.
Garrett you need to meet up again with Ryan and Beau, get them to show you what a turbine in a Jetboat can do 😜
This man is 2 kids away from a model train set 🤣🤣 so much variety your a content machine Cleet years into it still developing and improving
@User "So I bought this $10,000 O gauge live steamer."
Yess I can see cleet with a dope ass full basment setup with realitsic steam and err thing
I think trains is where we all end up after we cant fly no more. Lol
200 mph scale rc bullet train coming through!
*Bubbles enters chat*
"I'll race's with the fu**in Swayzie Express boys"
Some off season fun and hope everything is going well for the factory! Hoping to watch an event there this summer! 🤙
I’d love to see you run this parallel with mullet and see how they compare.
That invert after take off and hovering was amazing.
That vertical take off in to a hammer head was wild!
Great demonstration of thrust vectoring. Don't get to see it too often.
Absolutely love these rc vids cleet!! Definitely not the content we expected but its the content we didnt know we needed 🔥🔥. Keep it up man, you have been absolutely killin it lately💯🔥
Yeah Im trying to figure out how to buy a traxxas now without the wife knowing how much I spent on it

George, Jackstand and Cleetus have such funny banter. Its comedic gold. Many years ago I came for the fast cars and stayed for the laughs.
A brave man considering what happened to the last two planes you flew.
It’s impressive how this guy can crash so many planes
I'll admit I was sweating...

What’s the range of the remote on these things and is there some sort of indicator when you’re about to hit its limit?
The thrust to weight ratio on that has to be insane.

Cleetus puts out so much good content it's hard to keep up, but I've seen all the new RC vids, so cool
Damn!! That guy can really fly that rig! I can’t wait to see Cleetus’ next aviation purchase. Great video!!
I'm telling ya boss giant scale is the way to go, even a cessna is fun at that size!
To be honest, I became interested in your channel because of the RC Flying. I'll stay tuned for more!😎👍🛩
i think you need a squad of them to do fly overs at all the events at the freedom factory!!
Can't wait for Cleetus to get a real plane and modify it, great progress team keep it up
George got the skills catching the flybys, gotta be some crossover from filming mullet on those 6 second runs lol
Somehow I keep envisioning that jet to slam into one of those expensive RVs like a green lawn dart.
By the way I just notice that when Matt landed on the final pass and drifted off the tarmac, Cleetus had about ten blue 45 gallon garbage barrels strategically placed on either side of the tarmac ... has that boy learned nothing for the orange traffic cone fiasco.
Great job by the "pilot" on this one. Some really brave stuff by a pro!
