@mattsrcking Lol You have been flying for about 30 years what Remote Control Airplane Lol now don't change it. You have been flying a toy and I have been flying a real Plane because I am a Private Pilot who flies a real Airplane and flies myself not with Remote Control with my own hands Lol. And I have FAA or TSA permission also.

@LION TAMER they actually aren’t terribly difficult to fly. Similar to an aerobatic plane but a little less responsive
Plus simulators help prepare you for the way the plane flies

    • JT
      JT Ай бұрын +7

@LION TAMER At this level, you're using a simulator to learn things like that. They have them specifically for RC where you're using your actual controller and the whole lot. Saves a-lot of money.

The beautiful thing about RC is how it brings different ages together.. There is older guys that build jets that cost 4 times plus the jet in this video that have younger guys fly them.. Racing off-road RC I've seen a guy in his 70's with a 9 year old girl standing right next to him and they were racing..

That looked like a takeoff distance record to me (I'm not officiating just casually observing) And if that wasn't impressive enough the man on stick punches the pedal and (guessing the G-Force hits a 10) does a hard vertical climb into a momentary free fall stall. F I R E C R A C K E R FLYER! I'm not totally sure but he may have even achieved inverted flight at one point as it looked to me. And who doesn't love a nose up slow descent into a stationary position. In the words of Buster Poindexter: "Pilot at this this party was Flying Hot Hot Hot"

Tip for George when filming RC planes - try not to zoom in quite so much. Zoomed in is good because you can see the plane closer, but zoomed out gives a much better perspective and gives a better feel for air speed, altitude, acrobatics etc. Much love brother!

Being a helicopter guy I'm surprised Cleetus doesn't have an RC BlackHawk or something. I remember watchign a video a long time ago with a large scale turbine powered Hind D helicopter flying around, man that thing could have been used for movie shots, pilot and craft were super smooth. Also one time when I was in GA with my dad (who flies RC planes), he took me to a RC airshow and we got to see a massive RC helicopter that a Japanese man imported from Japan and hauled around in a box truck with a hydraulic lift. The helicopter could lift about 90 pounds and was meant for use as a crop duster in Japan. Design wise it looked like your typical RC helicopter but the fact that it was so big and he needed a lift and box truck to move it around because of size and weight. I think it was about 200lbs, I could be way off on that, it was around 20 years ago. But it was heavy enough that he didn't want to lift it himself and walking it up and down ramps into his last truck was annoying.

While watching Cleetus doing a 20 circle death spiral I kept picturing a $10,000 write-off with Matt becoming a new boat owner, Just Like That!!! Shazam!!! When Cleetus did the 200 mph low fly past, the camera didn't capture it but I swear it did one of those death defying dips that spells Ranger Danger, with Jackstand Jimmy at the controls...anybody for a roll-over? Thanks for another entertaining video. I'm looking forward to the time that Cleetus gets a ride with the Blue Angels or Tom Cruise.

I love how even the models sound like big boy jets!!
Love watching this stuff Garrett, still want the main channel for Leroy and the rest of your 4-wheeled fleet (plus the tank), for my $.02 but I'll watch it wherever ya upload it, so long as it's quality content still ;)

Just got the email with FF 2023 schedule, "Tour of Destruction" This is what Ive been waiting for since the first tour of the track, HELL YA BROTHER!!! I'd also recommend a whip-around race, 5-10 laps but you turn around and race the other way each lap (best done with slower cars like stock, wore out 4bangers)

I'm loving the RC flying content! I flew RC a few years ago but lost access to my flying field thanks to greedy real estate developers. Something Cleetus is dealing with too unfortunately.

I used to understand your feelings…but now that I’m older and have developed a sense of empathy, whenever I hear someone get upset at losing an empty field I can’t help but hear:
“Yeah how dare civilization continue developing within our civilization! THE NERVE of new jobs, homes, or critical infrastructure causing a space to become useful to more people than it was initially”

After seeing George lay next to the rc jet I think we need to put some turbines and Mt. Dew bottles on George. His new name would be Turbine George.

Somehow I keep envisioning that jet to slam into one of those expensive RVs like a green lawn dart.

By the way I just notice that when Matt landed on the final pass and drifted off the tarmac, Cleetus had about ten blue 45 gallon garbage barrels strategically placed on either side of the tarmac ... has that boy learned nothing for the orange traffic cone fiasco.
