My best explanation for the whole Type-Type/Emerald Multi-Attack thing is that type interactions are stored as 4-bit values, ie. 0-15. Having a x16 interaction loops the value back in on itself to x0, BUT since it isn't considered a type immunity and the minimum amount of damage dealt needs to be 1, it just deals 1 damage.
I think the highest base game would be an inverted x8 from Thick Fat (specifically Ice against Walrein), since it counts towards the same multiplier as types. If it stopped at 4, it would've been a 3-bit value (0-7)
@Czar Khasm i was about to say something about type effectiveness only needing 2 bits, really, but then i thought about it and no thats incorrect because 000 - immune, 001 - 1/4, 010 - 1/2, 011 - 1, 100 - 2, 101 - 4, that leaves 110 for 8 and 111 for 1/8. TLDR i was wrong your math checks out.

The more likely explanation is that at some point in the calculation it underflows since they weren't expecting a multiplier that large in the base game, but I would have to see the edited damage calc function to confirm this.
I love that they found a way to make baby pokemon a viable alternative to their relatives & they used one of my favorite pokemon to do it. I also like that they gave it a babality.
I don't know what type I'd add, but I would add the move "too many types" a type type move that sets a room/terrain that makes all types neutrally effective to each other for 5 turns.
Imagine a combination between this and Infinite Fusion, where Fusions get new types. Imagine the _chaos_ that'd result in! Edit: I'm disappointed that the battlefield getting groovy doesn't result in Miror B's theme playing. Like, really?

Does anyone happen to have an entire list of the types added? I’m tempted to personally make an eeveelution for each one. Also, I would totally add a food or snack type, with it being added to Pokémon that functionally are just living food (see; Alcremie, Vanillite, Sinistea), or Pokémon that are canonically eaten in some way (see; Slowpoke, Appleton, Cherubi). Maybe it reacts to conditions (like Burned or Frozen), or has a special way of interacting with its secondary typing (for example, the burned condition would be great at dealing with a Food/Ice type, or something.)

Chill type, for the pokemon that you just wanna hang with. As a reflection of Sharp, there's Blunt type, which could refer either to blunt weapons like rocks and fists, or weed. First type, given only to the first pokemon of each region's dex. Nice type, given to pokemon with 69 in their dex entry.
A type I’d love to see if they added Pokémon from way later games like B/W is ‘object’ because a lot of the Pokémon are just items or objects, so chandelure being under object makes the most sense
Finally got to watch the video after it taking me 6 attempts to beat the game because Flannery and Wattson stomped me over n over! Since it wasn't shown I also wanna mention, not only is grass effective against Gamer, Gamer moves can't hit grass type. Love that interaction.

I love the amount of thought put into the types. Like, the fact that Azurill and Marill are gender type references the fact that up until gen 6, 1/3 female Azurill would become male Marill upon evolving due to their gender ratios being different. I love the thoroughness of it all.
This was awesome! Must taken forever to make. Congrats! Idea: ??? Type: all moves targeting them have a 25% to do the opposite of what they’re intended to do. Healing moves hurt, stat lowering moves increase stats, etc.
I think there should be a Cute type which is the opposite of the Ugly type. Also perhaps an Interesting type to parallel Boring (it could apply to pokemon like Eevee and others who require Evolution stones, maybe?)
I’d add the “Real” type. It resists all the new types, but is weak to the original 18. It’s super effective against the new types and is weak to the original 18 types as well.

The types I would add would be the Two type, for Dodrio, and the Many type for Exeggcute, assuming it's not already Guys. Now, just to wait until Game Freak makes a pokemon that can simultaneously fit into the Two and Many types.
@Helter Skelter Not quite. Silvally had two types, the Emerald Type, and the Type type. Type doubles the damage interactions of every type in the game, while the Emerald Type was super effective against all three of Delphox's types. So it's 8x damage because of the Emerald type's calculations, and then that 8x gets doubled again because of the Type type's interaction. Except it would have dealt so much damage to Delphox that the game couldn't calculate it, and it underflowed , making it deal less than 0 damage. Because the minimum damage that can be dealt to a Pokemon is 1 damage, that's how much damage the game gave Delphox. tl;dr, Delphox got pounded so hard the game gave the damage a negative value which ended up getting rounded up to 1
What new types would I add? Well, I may have some ideas since I've been working on my own expanded type system. Y'know, just a small set of over 100 types and still counting.

here's a suggestion: Happy type, where in if your Pokedex number is a happy number, you have the happy type. Happy numbers are numbers such that when you take the sum of the squares of each digit in the number you get 1. and you keep doing sum of squares for each number you get until either you get 1, or you get the infinite pattern 20, 4, 16, 37, 58, 89, 145, 42, 20... The first four happy numbers are 1, 7, 10, 13, ...
I was wondering why Sudowoodo was Furry type and then I remembered that Jacob defines furbait Pokemon as any Pokemon that can properly wear a hoodie and Sudowoodo applies to that. This mod is amazing
You should add a Uno wild card type. It makes the Pokémon Water, Fire, Grass, and Electric all at once while giving the Pokémon up to 8 capacity for moves. Two wild card type moves are +4. It skips the opposing Pokémon’s next turn, and boosts their atk up. And another type being choose. The choice A would be (you pick) and choice B would be take 2500 dmg.
This is actually the experience game freak intended. You read all the garbage about matchups that seem obvious, but then quickly see there's combinations going on that you hadn't accounted for. After battling once though, it throws you the 'super effective/effective/not very effective' subtext so you dont have to remember every single pokemon

The fact that Delphox was so vulnerable the damage calculation overflows and did just 1 hp *just* because that's the minimal amount is hilarious

@Helter Skelter Not quite. Silvally had two types, the Emerald Type, and the Type type. Type doubles the damage interactions of every type in the game, while the Emerald Type was super effective against all three of Delphox's types. So it's 8x damage because of the Emerald type's calculations, and then that 8x gets doubled again because of the Type type's interaction. Except it would have dealt so much damage to Delphox that the game couldn't calculate it, and it underflowed , making it deal less than 0 damage. Because the minimum damage that can be dealt to a Pokemon is 1 damage, that's how much damage the game gave Delphox.
tl;dr, Delphox got pounded so hard the game gave the damage a negative value which ended up getting rounded up to 1
What new types would I add? Well, I may have some ideas since I've been working on my own expanded type system. Y'know, just a small set of over 100 types and still counting.

This was amazing, I love the thought processes at work. Personal note; I am cursed with seeing crabs everywhere I go, almost every day. So while I accept I see them when watching a cooking show or a program about the ocean where it's bound to happen, I am now cursed with this; Crab Type. So, thanks for that I guess. (Who knew Machamp was a crab?)
here's a suggestion: Happy type, where in if your Pokedex number is a happy number, you have the happy type. Happy numbers are numbers such that when you take the sum of the squares of each digit in the number you get 1. and you keep doing sum of squares for each number you get until either you get 1, or you get the infinite pattern 20, 4, 16, 37, 58, 89, 145, 42, 20...
The first four happy numbers are 1, 7, 10, 13, ...
I was wondering why Sudowoodo was Furry type and then I remembered that Jacob defines furbait Pokemon as any Pokemon that can properly wear a hoodie and Sudowoodo applies to that. This mod is amazing
sudowoodo has "owo" in it's name and is pronounced sood-uwu-doh
It's also a rock that pretends to be a tree, so in a world of rocks it is kind of what a furry is to us.

These mod creators did their homework and that's great
You should add a Uno wild card type. It makes the Pokémon Water, Fire, Grass, and Electric all at once while giving the Pokémon up to 8 capacity for moves. Two wild card type moves are +4. It skips the opposing Pokémon’s next turn, and boosts their atk up. And another type being choose. The choice A would be (you pick) and choice B would be take 2500 dmg.

This is actually the experience game freak intended. You read all the garbage about matchups that seem obvious, but then quickly see there's combinations going on that you hadn't accounted for. After battling once though, it throws you the 'super effective/effective/not very effective' subtext so you dont have to remember every single pokemon
