I was at Staples Center when Lebron broke the all-time record against OKC and when they played this song right after, everyone broke out in unison and started singing along. It was beautiful 😭
People have no idea how iconic this song was, growing up when this came out it was like hearing something nobody had ever heard before, it was the start of a new sound and era of rap and all you knew when listening to it was who is this drake dude, he’s so damn hard. You knew he was going to be something but who would have ever guessed he would become as big as he is
That's crazy cause I had just got back from Mexico and I had a mp3 radio player I was mowing my uncles yard when I decided to tune in to the local rap station and heard drake for the first time I was like who is this guy? Then the rest is just history.
@BLOPP So is Eminem. Both of them havent been good for almost a decade now. Im not saying they havent had some random good songs. But definitely havent been at the top of their game in years
Oh they will we can only hope not they tekashi and others well some don’t know good music I know that for a fact. But again we can only hope they don’t. But who knows
4 rappers with completely different styles and personalities..this is what the music game is missing nowadays. Everyone has a preference, but i don't think they can be judged against each other in my eyes. My personal favourites are in this order 1:Em 2:Kanye 3:Wayne 4:drake
@Trapper Of the Year You're not supposed to say anything like everyone else. You're supposed to let other people say that about you. It's out of respect to everyone who came before and whom you never tried to compete against. It is a team accomplishment but it's the one thing everyone should aspire to have. Remember when lebron was all about getting his first ring? He wanted it so much that he left is previous team to be part of a big 3 somewhere to get it? It was the most important thing for him before. The narrative only changed when he realized that he couldn't measure up to kobe's or MJ's achievement in rings. Be honest, if lebron won more rings than jordan, you'd also hype the heck out of that fact and more people would agree with him being the goat.
@cookieness is he supposed to say he’s not when he is always the top person that people debate is the goat besides MJ? Winning rings is a team accomplishment a single player can not win a ring and on every team he been on he’s been that guy. He’s the best game 7 player in history. If he isn’t the goat then he’s two which isn’t too shabby undoubtedly.
@Trapper Of the Year The only reason why people kept shitting on him is because he keeps proclaiming himself as the goat and his blind sheep keep defending his BS. That claim requires proof. Also, there's a distinct difference between getting into the finals and winning it. Noone counts finals appearance. People only count rings. We gotta stop glorfying and hyping participation. Second placer is first loser.
@Starlight Noire yes and even playing 20 years he had to play at a certain level. Kobe played longer than Lebron and he surpassed Kobe in scoring in fewer years because he averages 27 points a game and he’s averaged 30 over the last two seasons.
All Time Leading Scorer and this song will never be forgotten 👑💛💜 Wayne go in soo hard on this right here, straight up BANGA! He aint like all them goofies and oppas who just be using that *HIPVIEWS dawwwt cawwwm* to get mad exposure on they socials, SMH seem like anyone can go HAM these days... SMH
I was 11 years old when this came out I'm 24 now! Crazy how you hear a song! And it instantly brings you back to them good old days where there was nothing to stress about unless it was homework 😂😅
LeBron didn't live up to the hype. If he had accomplished just half of what he accomplished, then it would be accurate to say he lived up to the hype.... He absolutely shattered it. He's incredible.
The day this video was released was the day my daughter was born. I’ll never forget it. Now we sing to it! This song and “Clover Cage - Thought You Should Know” are the two songs keeping me sane through these tough times. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️
I remember when this song came out and my siblings and I waited for it to come on, it was on a loop on a radio station, and we knew the loop by heart, and we heard this song come on and we would just listen in awe to the whole thing, this was such an important song then and even now, all these years later, obviously though we would lose our minds to Eminem’s part, we just thought the flow was the fastest ever. Music then was really incredible, sure, it wasnt Jimi Hendrix, but it was incredible on a whole other scale, Hip Hop was alive and well, new names with new sounds and ideas had break out hits, there was something truly special about this era of music, and I still hold it in high regard.
I didn’t realize how big of a song this was when I was younger I just know I loved the song. But looking back at it 4 of the best artist of all time are on the same song.
I remember being in the 6th grade watching this music video (and the chopped and screwed version they had lmao) and I still know everyones verse word for word 😂. Simpler times

The fact that people will listen to this song and hate eminems verse is just immediate proof as to how ignorant people can be. All the verses were great, but Em did crush it, and if you disagree, you wrong
The piano when Wayne verse came on was legendary 🎹 🔥 and Em had they whole gang with him lol stop playing with that man. Good middle school memories I will never forget 🙌🏾
Lebron, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye, man this song was one-of a kind. Something like this will never happen again. Lets all appreciate this masterpiece!
Everyone sleeping on Wayne’s verse - they all had good verses but Wayne’s is the best imo. His flow and punchlines were so fire (as usual back then, this was prime Wayne)
@Anas Munshi how can you not say Kendrick and J Cole or Big Sean. Actual Lyrical Rappers Still Rapping: 1. Eminem 2. Kendrick Lamar 3. J Cole 4. Big Sean 5. Lil Wayne 6. Ice Cube 7. Snoop Dogg 8. E 40 9. Tech N9ne 10. Polo G
The fact that Kanye was humble enough to say he heard Eminem verse, tore his stuff up and redid his verse tells you how great Em is
@gangadharan J A naw it actually true ask wanye da crazy thing is wanye don’t right his songs
It shows how great Kanye and Wayne was true artist
Cap
The fact that when he re wrote his verse and it was still the only bad verse is crazy

4 rappers with completely different styles and personalities..this is what the music game is missing nowadays. Everyone has a preference, but i don't think they can be judged against each other in my eyes. My personal favourites are in this order

@cookieness 4
What a moment for the all time leading scorer, all hail the king 👑
Ha yeah right
I think I like drake's verse better than Kanye's and waynes. Obv not Eminem tho that flow is absolutely iconic
I’d go Eminem

Facts
He’s now the NBA’s all-time leading scorer🤴👑🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥
@Starlight Noire yes and even playing 20 years he had to play at a certain level. Kobe played longer than Lebron and he surpassed Kobe in scoring in fewer years because he averages 27 points a game and he’s averaged 30 over the last two seasons.
@Cringe Central Remind me of winning percentage of LeBeijing and Jordan, pls.
@Tomáš Sadil you’re just in the wrong universe if you think LeBron is a ball bigger and MJ wasn’t
@Starlight Noire 20 years averaging more than 20 ppg when most nba stars his age are retired
Because he's been playing for like 20 years lmao
All Time Leading Scorer and this song will never be forgotten 👑💛💜
Wayne go in soo hard on this right here, straight up BANGA! He aint like all them goofies and oppas who just be using that *HIPVIEWS dawwwt cawwwm* to get mad exposure on they socials, SMH seem like anyone can go HAM these days... SMH

True, brother
I keep rewinding Eminem's part. It's ridiculous how good it is.
The God-MC
4 different rappers, 4 different distinct styles. Pure gold! Still a banger in 2022
@Umar bro said rubbish hes bri'ish
@Umar "but he wasn't talkin bout coke and birds, it was more like spoken word"
@winged hussar kanye's part is far from bad, you need to clean your ears buddy.
Drake belongs with these rap god's. Verse? No I do the auto tune hook n chorus. Plus my connections funded this commercial advertisement.
This is one of those songs that started a new era. Iconic.
@Caleb Drake sacrificed XXXTentacion!
I was 11 years old when this came out I'm 24 now! Crazy how you hear a song! And it instantly brings you back to them good old days where there was nothing to stress about unless it was homework 😂😅
Sometimes I just gotta come back and watch this masterpiece again before I can continue going about my day.
What a blessing. This is so many greats from almost one era. They all got along enough to put a song out. That may never happen again.
Eminem 🙌 the last man standing 🙏
We won’t ever see a lineup like this again. We need a Forever Part II.
Part 2 When Bron retires

Yessssirrrrre
Ems verse gives me goosebumps every time
This dude literally lived up to all the hype
@Bobaluga Yeah because every team that’s good has only 1 star that takes them to the finals… Literally every dynasty is built by multiple stars.
lol, super teams. coward
@Brian Duru had me in 1 half
LeBron didn't live up to the hype.
If he had accomplished just half of what he accomplished, then it would be accurate to say he lived up to the hype....
He absolutely shattered it. He's incredible.
This song most definitely slaps harder than Will Smith Chris Rock would agree
Drake- Warms it up
Kanye-Keeps it going
Lil Wayne- Murders it
Eminem brings it back to life and pulverizes it out of existence
lol Wayne’s verse was easily the weakest
@ohmadamnexactly
YE best verse by far not even debatable.
Nice one 😂😂
The day this video was released was the day my daughter was born. I’ll never forget it. Now we sing to it! This song and “Clover Cage - Thought You Should Know” are the two songs keeping me sane through these tough times. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️
The Fact that they played this at the end of his speech just made it legendary!!
I actually can’t understand how there’s even a conversation over who’s the rap goat. In terms of both skill and longevity Em is a god

@WESLEY it might can happen again, maybe your right it won't happen. At least we got this banger track forever, with top artists.
Everyone sleeping on Wayne’s verse - they all had good verses but Wayne’s is the best imo. His flow and punchlines were so fire (as usual back then, this was prime Wayne)
His voice sounds annoying ngl
