He’s great but he’s a cherry picker of “wisdom.” He only focuses on one ecosystem of “wisdom” and ignores the others and pretends they’re untrue and don’t exist! These kinds of people are everywhere and it seems people are more likely to like him for that ignorance because they possess that same ignorance as well!!! Like attracts like.. People should care about truth in TOTALITY. Not in sections and ignore the rest!!!

Yes,. yes..indeed. Dr Peterson has helped me immensely to get organized and clean my room, too. Along with the compassion in his voice, he makes it clear by adding WHY we need to do whatever it is he is suggesting. For abetter life! I chuckle and Praise God for the gift of PBJordan's creation!! And his response to this call in his life! Thank You, Dr Jordan and may God continue to guide you! And now, Tammy, your wife is on line, too! She is an amazing woman in her own right!😊🔥🔥🔥💕👏 Rosemarie

I love how this past 50 years old man always busts out a tear or two when he's talking about the potential everyone has in themselves and that it's our duty to use this potential. He really shares in the suffering and is very concerned about the development that our society has made in the last decades.

@Stooli I don’t get it either!! It’s absurd. Jordan Peterson cries in interviews about his commitment to truth and the betterment of humanity and yet people are still so against him. I think it’s just willful ignorance. Those who operate unconsciously in this world cannot possibly understand his message.

    • Stooli

That's the essence of what he preaches, and still people are against him. I just cannot understand the logic in that. Could it just be that people are simply just so stupid that they don't understand what he says?

So I’ve watched several of Dr Peterson’s videos now... I am a father of 3 kids. I’ve been grappling with how and why to instill personal responsibility and help them find meaning in life. He puts into words what I have always thought but been unable to articulate. The further I dig I am in awe of his absolute depth of understanding and brilliant coalesce of society history biology psychology religion even economics. I’m sure he doesn’t read all the comments but I just wanted to say thank you for being the voice of reason in a world that has lost its way and encouraging men like me to be strong and a force for good.

Jordans advice worked for me. I worked hard and received a pay raise within 6 months of my new job. I did overtime and made sure I tried to do my best at what I was asked to do. These principles seem to be built into the very philosophy of how the world works. It will work for everyone, not all the time but consistently enough so that it will work for everyone most of the time. Thank you Jordan.

The really useful thing about a Peterson lecture is not just the content of them. He shows his audience his thought processes. How he gets from one position to another based on facts, deduction, logic, and his own personal experience. One might not always agree with all of his conclusions, but he demonstrates to his audience how to think both critically and for oneself as free as possible from political, scientific and religious dogma.
While doing so he gives the impression that his lectures are somehow spontaneous, when in fact they are very carefully thought out in every detail, indeed perfected scripted within his head.

It is horrendously stupid to talk about messy history, war and destruction but turn a blind eye on the present and ignore the plight of so many people in so many countries.
The ugliest hypocrisy of the liberals in the west is, to think and emphasis locally on the matters of their own nation states, in favouring a tacit state protectionism at the cost of merciless policies towards the other nations in colonising on their raw materials… if Uganda was utilised or exploited, Mr Jordan Peterson!?

Lean on Dr. Peterson. I do. He just emerged from the fire, health wise. He is unfairly criticized. We all have to endure a shit storm from time to time. My wife and I are presently struggling with the messes our 3 adult daughters are living. It’s very gut wrenching, expensive, heartbreaking, frustrating, exhausting and seemingly endless. But, quitting isn’t an option. Please be kind to yourself when you can. Hang in. Hang on. Seek help. Semper Fidelis. Dave Heitman.

Just remember guys, he's still super at risk. Don't be those guys who go begging for him to make appearances. Let him do what he needs to and he'll make time for us as he can. I don't think he'll ever fully get better and with that said, he definitely needs to be able to freely focus on his family as he desires without all of his fans crying out in agony. Not to insult anyone, just to say.

@Ra Sa Well I agree with you on the whole modern feminism and marxism is cancer and all, but you are missing the entire point of JP. He isn't trying to "cure feminism", he is trying to teach people the importance in adopting personal responsibility in life, finding the personal meaning to life that sustains you as an individual, and how to adopt the most responsibility possible while being as productive to yourself AND to the world around you as possible. To think JP is a political speaker is gross misunderstanding of his entire purpose. Yes JP is an outspoken critic of those things, but have you actually listened to his speeches? The guy is mostly a motivational speaker who appeals to individualism, NOT ideology, AND he teaches you how to not be drawn in by the most dangerous types of ideology, while also giving you the tools to be able to combat those who actively push cancerous ideologies in a way that can hopefully teach others... you know, the whole "knowledge is power" train of thought?

    • Ra Sa

What is sad about JP and his competence: he talks to a large audience of logical and decent people, mostly men, who like to hear logical explanation and understanding of the world. However, this logic, this simple view of the world must be put into heads of feminists which will never even listen.
There’s no way JP will succeed in putting some logic into the brains of feminists and other culture Marxists. You can’t fight cancer by talking nicely to it.
Feminism is a cancer. Amputation might help, but there is no surgeon to remove it. The only possible surgeons are women, fighting this cancer. But this is impossible- females never fight other females if this gives them no benefits. Only men do fighting in this civilization, but men can’t fight this (mostly) female cancer. So the West is doomed.

Psychonaut Yep, my decade working as a psychotherapist to children in the DCF system (I.e., severely traumatized) and adults with addiction disorders probably weren’t meaningful. And my two masters in psych don’t count toward relevant education. And leaving my career to take full time care of my dying mother was purely selfish. Thank you, brave and wise soul, for showing me the error of my heathen ways. I was lost, but now thanks to your many reminders to get some life experience, I’m healed. (I’ve done some shitty things along the way, too, and I own all of it...but who the fuck are you to tell others to gain life experience?)
Seriously, I hope and pray you never have to go through half of the shit I’ve survived- to be stripped of every illusion I’d falsely believed defined me so that I could find what really matters: my soul and God. You can run your mouth all you want, but you’ll never stop me from doing what I was put on Earth to do, to help people struggling and suffering in the darkness the way I had.
I’m equally blessed and cursed, but as this title of this video wisely reminds us: THE DEEPER THE ABYSS, THE BRIGHTER THE LIGHT. So I thank lost souls like yourself for inadvertently bringing me back to that light. My gratitude is great, but my patience is not. I’m not responsible for you, and no one will ever drag me down to the depths of hell again. I know every inch of that abyss, and I faced the monsters within. I WON. And there’s not a single thing you or anyone else can do to change that.
I’ll see you on the other side if you ever find your way there, and we’ll laugh about how silly all of this was.

"Sorry for my bad English, but I'm learning to listen to and understand this wise man. I love him. He is a source of motivation in many ways in my life. I wish I could find all of his videos with Spanish subtitles. Thank you, Dr. Peterson."
Perhaps you could request that someone translate his videos into Spanish for the subtitles. There are a lot of good amateur volunteer translators out there and maybe one of them would accept the challenge.

I had a genuine moment of realisation today it was amazing to me. 1 I actually think I understand what thinking ‘deep into the abyss’ actually means. It was more like a small cave in my case and Jordan would probably laugh because he means you need to think your way into the core of the centre of the earth! But i was quite happy with my little cave (I even cleaned it) I realised that it’s not all about thinking and been right about your questions or even your answers, at least not to begin with. I now feel I genuinely understand the importance of trying to understand some very fundamental concepts that I never felt I needed to Question or answer I now understand why it’s so important to arrive at your conclusions on your own. Thinking properly is a skill and Jordan is clearly very good at it it’s his bloody job. I could hear him kind of mocking my dumbass answers. But they’re genuine! I OWN them. Others might have got to a similar place in another little cave somewhere but it wasn’t with me! I’m gonna just skip to the end a bit here check this out…I went home, my girlfriend asks ‘do you love me?’ I get it…she likes hearing me say ‘of course I do that’s a silly question’ But today I said ‘NO’. Her face dropped so i quickly began to try and explain what I now know and it went something like this…I don’t really know what ‘Love’ means to me! It’s seems like such a lame word because I ‘love’ lots of things.I ‘love’ cooking. I ‘love’ going on holiday. I ‘love’ music. If I lost all that tomorrow I’d be ok by the end of next week, do you really want me to put you in that category? And Jordan would be proud of me here because I was very accurate with my words. I said (and this was really from the heart because I physically felt it) I care about you so deeply and that’s the best I can articulate it. I don’t think there’s actually a single word that really explains how I feel for you.(yes I know it sounds corny and I’m certainly not the only person that has said this but whatever) in her eyes I’ve been walking on water ever since!! I never thought I would do that by telling her that I DON’T love her!!! Thinking about stuff is brilliant!!! 👍😂😂😂👌
BTW…I think I know what GOD and the concept of religion is all about at least what it’s intended to be about to begin with and I feel it’s actually a lot deeper and more profound than what some people who are ‘religious’ actually think it is and I’m not even religious! But a lot the things I now feel I understand more now make sense of the stories and the admittedly very little I actually know but that’s irrelevant…girl friend thing was way better!!!!😉

He knows what I'm talking about and maybe he's still growing his reach, and someday will expose the lies? Until then I remain a skeptic.
