Fun fact for y’all. The “removed herobrine” patch note WAS in every single major update change log… Up until 1.16, the nether update. There has been no mention of removing him since then.
@NoteNickel the last “removed Herobrine” was in the 1.16.2 changelog, which was released in 2020’s August, day 11. Mojang was purchased by Microsoft in 2014’s November, day 15, over a year before the release of 1.9.
i think the reason why herobrine and tons of other creepypastas are so scary is because usually when reading a creepypasta story you dont get a complete picture of what the antagonist of the story is. meaning that it becomes the most horrifying monster of all, the monster your mind makes for you.
You know, I would 100% download a mod that added the original style of herobrine into the game. One that wasn't malicious, but just... Odd. Sometimes at night when you got in a bed it told you another player needed to sleep, even in single player, always one more than the current amount, but only for 10 seconds before disappearing. Sometimes you would be out and about and a message of " is sleeping in a bed, all players need to be asleep in order for time to pass". No name, no nothing else weird. Sometimes structures that you have never visited before have already had their chests emptied and trapped deactivated. Sometimes you would come across trees without leaves, random dirt structures, odd things. But you wouldn't see Herobrine fully. Maybe you see what you think is a player in the distance, maybe you'll hear mining outside of your house and some nearby dirt is gone, but by the time you see it nothing is there. He never attacks you directly. Never hurts you in any way intentionally. He's just there, like another player in your game, but not.
I agree but I'd say you should have a rare chance at a sighting off in the distance from the corner of your eye but he can't last no more than 3 to 5 seconds
For years I've been day dreaming about features like this in games - things that step outside the pretext of the game, completely unpredictable layers of interactions that come out of nowhere. ...The only game I know of that came close to this is A Dark Room - in the way it expands far beyond what you think the game is when you begin, which, imo, provides a very rare and special pleasure to play through - but I'd love to see that elsewhere, basically one game warping into another, breaking its own 'laws of physics' ...luring the player into a sense of security so they think they know the parameters and limitations of the 'world' then exploding those boundaries. ...The difficulty would be keeping it secret so it kept surprising, which would be practically impossible.
I have a pretty unique story about the blank eyed demon. When I was younger on W10 edition, I looked up Herobrine summoning shrines. I found as many as I could, and built all of them in my creative world. Around 15 minutes later, Minecraft crashed entirely. When I loaded back up into Minecraft, the world said it had around 70 gigabytes of storage in it, despite it being significantly lower before. When I tried to enter the world, it crashed again and the world proceeded to delete itself. 10-11 year-old me became extremely skeptical about Herobrine actually existing after that one. I would come to find out that it was a bug that ironically happened on that world in particular. So that was fun.
I’ve always believed that Herobrine is as real as people allow him to be. Was that cave noise him? Yes it was. Was that weird chunk loading bug him? Yes it was. Was that HOAX him? YES. IT WAS. Because Herobrine was there, just not in the way that people think. For me, Herobrine is not a someone or a something. He’s an IDEA. A thought. If you consider something to be or be caused by Herobrine, the yes. It IS Herobrine. Because your thoughts make him more real than any patch notes. In the end… isn’t he real to someone? Herobrine is real, just not in the way people think - but also in the way people TNINK. Does that make sense? Maybe not.
I've only had a few strange things happen while playing single player. Something unique happened that I've never heard about before though ( just fyi I played on the Xbox 360 at the time). One world I created and joined was a custom super flat with diamond blocks at the top and lapis was the rest in pretty sure. When I found a village all the villagers were named "Notch" and all the mobs that spawned were automatically named "Notch" I have no proof though since mobs no longer spawn in that world and the only mobs left in that world are the ones I put on leads and/or were named "Notch". 👺
Been waiting for another video on this channel! Great topic choice, I remember the herobrine story blowing up and when they started “removing” him. Thank you for the extra insight :)
Btw the patch notes for 1.19 does not add “removed herobrine” will that confirm his existence. I don’t believe he is real but he definitely could be soon. Notches words not mine
Since 1.19 rolled in, the Warden took the cake for being the scariest mob in the game for me. Accidentally spawning one could really mean instant death, and you wouldn't be able to fight back either. The dude could wreck the wither even only by himself.
I saw a battle between the two on youtube and it ended up being a stalemate. the warden did kill the wither but the final blast it gave off killed the warden
I was terrified of mining in Minecraft for so long. Didn't help that my brother told me he would be in Mine Shafts and he was haunting. Every time I forced myself to mine to get resources and I would be super paranoid. It felt like I saw some things that were probably just some mob or fog. I am getting better, and better at handling the darkness. But soon there'll be another creature to hunt us down...
I am late to the comment but i just wanna say that i was terrified too, i used to play on pacific all the time, i once wanted to be brave and enter a cave but i heard one of those creepy noises and i left the game i even was terrified of playing alone
Something that occurred to me in-game a lot when I was little, would be that when ever I left the home down in the mine directly under it, I would sometimes hear my door open and close, I would always go back up and find nothing. I always thought it's some sort of bug/glitch, although I always wondered what it actually was, a Chicken opening my door? Or a Enderman? Or a Bug? At some point I tried googling about it but didn't find anything.
@Wing Shan Cheng Nah, sometimes it would happen right as I went down the stairs, and I would rush back up in 2 sec and there would be no mobs. I'm still thinking it was some sort of easter egg.
In one of my singleplayer worlds back in 1.2 I had this weird thing happen to me. Every now and then random, single brick blocks would appear around my house and in other parts of my world. As far as I know there is no way brick spawns naturally and with my young age I didn't even know how to craft brick. Some time later I found a Iron Golem in the middle of a Forest miles away from my home, no village in sight. Never touched that world again after that.
What if herobrine was just the embodiment of bugs and glitches that made it Minecraft? It's not like that Herobrine is real as a player like entity but as the one who makes up the things that are weird and horrifyingly unique. This might be why Minecraft Updates are always saying removing Herobrine because they were removing thee bugs.
He was definitely in the game, back when I first got an Xbox I went to sleep in the tutorial world with the castle in the village portion right outside the tunnel and I was transported to a foggy sort of dimension and I saw him there. I have never saw him again even after playing for years so I still don't know what exactly happened.
great video, thank you for telling it like it is 100%, every other video I’ve seen breaking down herobrine often is misleading for the unseasoned minecrafters. although it is fun to be scared when you’re convinced he exists, gotta realize it just wasn’t a thing.
I was in a cave once and suddenly my torch broke right beside me (I'm playing only single players just to say, I have no friends who play Minecraft) and when I out a torch back, there was such a tunnel right beside me
This is a great in depth video and I like that you actually know what you're talking about with old minecraft because quite a bit of people get some of that information wrong when talking about old minecraft
Herobrine is pretty much something i belived in alot of time! As a weird version of Steve who would act as a villian but , now im glad i could find videos about him and know him more! specially your video! : D
You ever see him you'll be abliever for sure. He becomes more and more aggressive. First he'll just appear at weird places, but then you'll find his buildings etc. Eventually he'll start attacking you.
i have a little story about my experience with "herobrine" one day i was playing on singleplayer, my game froze and stopped registering any breaking blocks or updates to the world, however i was able to move and look around, i was in a cave, i looked back and then my pc unfroze and i saw my character which was default steve running towards me, and resync with my actual position than where i was when it froze, at the time i got scared thinking the creepy pasta may be real, i stopped playing the game for about 3 years until i was brave enough to play again, to this day im not sure how such bug can be obtainable in minecraft, knowing this only happens in some online games but i was on singleplayer
The Journey- A Story- Herobrine is known as Edward Brine in the far past. He came from England in the 17th century. He finds his way through the island before finding an amulet.
Since his first "appearance" Herobrine bacame always present in our worlds. By thinking of him is the only way to actually feel him. No mods, no texture pack, no codes, just our minds. Herobrine is our worst fear in Minecraft.
In a server I used to play on years ago, the mods trolled players by doing the things herobrine did in the stories, and then teleporting over in a herobrine skin with the name missing, and disappear as soon as you saw him, or even just caught him in the corner of the eye. Used to scare the shit outta me when I was younger.
I think Notch actually had an idea for adding Herobrine in Minecraft and he actually existed in-game, not as a patch or beta, version but as a WIP Java project, and for some reason they removed before launching this project as an update, probably because it was hard to program this kind of thing under a week (which was how often Minecraft would update) and it caused too much bugs just by existing in the files of the game, or because there wasn't too much point in adding it to the game at all or they didn't have too much plans for it. About the "Removed Herobrine" joke, I guess it was because of Notch getting annoyed by people asking about Herobrine, he started to use the "Removed Herobrine" in the newer updates so that people would leave him alone until it became more of a joke then a "There is what you wanted, you happy?" kind of thing
Ahh Herobrine, such a classic. When abandoned mineshafts were added to the game me and my friends would just call them the Herobrine mines for some flavour text for why there were random mineshafts around the place.
i had a weird encounter i was playing with my brother and just casually farming wood but i saw a cave ive never seen it before so i decided to explore it we garbbed our gear and went mining but something was off there was no resources we wnt really deep we found lava but we gave up the next day we ogged on and our pets were just dead when we never really touched the other day but there were like creeper explosion holes and stuff so we decided to not play the world for a bit and when we logged on after 2to3 days our loot was missing not all of it but most of it so we just decided to delete the world and start a new one and thats the end of the story
the most reasonable thing i can think of without watching the video: the first ever image proof of herobrine could be real somehow, and maybe notch just wanted to add an entity in memory of his brother, acting exactly like a ghost. After that, there was a really small chance of actually meeting this entity, but seeing how popular and ridiculous this was going, the mojang team decided to remove it entirely. The only weird thing is the "removed herobrine" stuff, but maybe with some coding skills the problem could be solved. The herobrine user, that didnt have an account apparently, was probably one of his friend that deleted his profile soon after, and they just got away with it Now, im not accusing anybody of faking and this is just my opinion, but maybe there is a bigger secret, connected somehow to notch's brother; in a few years, i bet that the mistery is gonna be solved
Markus Pesserson never had a brother, the entire thing was a creepypasta. The first herobrine was the "Human" mob from the earliest versions of the game, which has since been removed since 1.8. Although the "Removed Herobrine" thing is a joke, it actually references how with every update bits of code from the EntityLiving classfile that constituted the Human mob was slowly being removed
I remember when the newer ambient noises were implemented. Scared the shit out of me as I hadn't read the patchnotes for that update. Once I began actually listening for a few minutes and the sound triggered again, it didn't take long to figure out there were new ambiences. My game was unmodded, so it didn't take much to narrow down what the source was.Even went and checked the patch notes to confirm and yup. Gave me a good scare though and I loved it! Even now the ambiences still startle me. lol
I've had this one really creepy encounter for me once, I was playing Minecraft PE around 6-7 years ago (I think, it was long ago to remember) and I was scrolling through my world page and I saw this empty named world. So I was curious and joined it, when I spawn in I'm facing this pyramid that looked identical to the one in this video (0:27) so I was still curious but a little questionable, I climb the pyramid and there's a hole at the top, I look down the hole and theres alot of space down the hole including water to drop down in from, so I drop down I think around 15 blocks down and I start exploring the bit mined out inside the pyramid, I think I found this chest and I open it and theres nothing inside but at the same time I hear something behind me (the water) and it sounds like splashing noises, at the moment I got a shiver down my spine. In-game I turn around and I see that the water is gone, I immediately freak out because I don't know what's going on (At the time I was around 7 or 8) and I calm down a bit and explore a bit more, and then I hear the water noise when you place it back down, I turn around and there it is again filling up the hole. I immediately left the world and stopped playing minecraft for that day. The next day I log back on and I am curious again so I look for the unnamed world, and I realize it's not there anymore on my world list, and I did not delete the world because I was too scared and in a hurry the day before to delete it. Let me know if anyone has had anything similar happen to them in Minecraft.
I actually thought I saw Herobrine once but it turned out to either be be some left over or corrupted code that caused the old human mob to show up in a version it wasn't supposed to be in I'm not sure how it happened but it was the early days of minecraft so a lot of things were happening that weren't intended
One of the reasons why I've had arguments with kids about the legitimacy of his existence in elementary school, I blame this creepypasta for ruining friendships, HECK I even blame myself for being stupid in the first place. Also, my hypothetical theory is, the screenshot could've been taken in a multiplayer world but with the "recipient" aka the player with the Herobrine skin using some sort of hack/cheat to disable their gamertag that is displayed above the player's head, to make him/her really seem like it was a mob within Minecraft itself to the OTHER player so that the shot could be taken and therefore with the gamertag disabled (or hey, even photoshopped out of the original image) makes it "legitimate" to the viewers.
I saw an 11 year old kid who was so terrified of herobrine, to the point where I had to tell him that he isn't real and it was just a hoax made up by someone. safe to say he was a little bit disappointed, but also relieved in a way.
Something that scared the hell out of me years ago on Windows 10 Edition was when I was building some shitty adventure map (as we all did back then), and I went into survival to test it. A few seconds later, I died randomly and when I respawned, the map I had built was gone. Looking back, the death was probably the annoying random death glitch, and the map being "gone" was probably just the chunks being slow to load in (I immediately left the world, so they probably just weren't loaded yet). One thing I can't explain though, is that after that happened to me, random worlds that I didn't make started popping up in my game. None of my family played Minecraft, so I don't know what it is. The worlds would have random structures like basic redstone machines and stuff. They were probably just old worlds I had forgotten about, since I probably had hundreds of worlds in that worlds folder, but it was still really creepy. Another weird thing that happened to me a few years after is that (I was now playing on Nintendo Switch) is when these two accounts would constantly send me invites to their world. I never joined it, but I still wondered what their purpose was. Weird
I ran into a Herobrine once, probably was just a hacker that stumbled across my server but idk. They were either very clever or using an A.I. because it seemed more like a program that had been added
0:38 I think I can see a small difference between the default player and Herobrine: two pixels are black on the default skin Steve but white on Herobrine's texture. In this part of the video, there is a normal player at first but then it transitions to Herobrine
*YOU KNOW WHAT'S HILARIOUS? NO ONE IN BEDROCK HAS EVER MADE A CUSTOM WORLD WITH ALL OF MINECRAFT'S HOAXES OR ENTITIES, YET THEY MADE A CLONE OF AETHER MOD*
well. i do have a weird things happening in my OLDEST server on minecraft when i was 8 years old. that time i play minecraft and live in a village, and then i quit the game and saw... a random giant square hole thingy, replaced the village house inside a cave. and then days and days. it also still happening like that. how?
Y’all remember when there was an actual skin of herobrine in one of the first skin packs that the creators added on console or maybe on pc? I remember seeing it on ps4 but you had to buy the skin or the pack at the time. I could be or could not be wrong bout this!
He is real. One time when I was a kid I was playing PE. I remeber in the chat log seeing “Herobrine has joined the game”. Then stuff around me got covered in lava and he flew around starting fires. Absolutely ruined my world, and I remeber it so clearly because I threw a tantrum after 😂. And no I was not on WiFi at the time so no one could have joined my game.
I was spooked for a week when I saw a forest without leaves but when I decided to go to my enderman farm I understood why I had so many trees without leaves I need them for the farm :D
The only memory I have of a herobrine esk experience is once I was building a house out of every wool block I finished it but when I got inside half the roof disappeared at the time I thought endermen had greifed it but now that I think about it, this event happened within 30 seconds I might have just quit without saving or something I cant remember just a strange time in a strange game.
I swear that Herborine existed. I must have been 8 or 9, building a pretty terrible excuse for a treehouse on top of one of those giant jungle trees in creative mode. It sounds so stupid, but he appeared, spawned hostile wolves and villagers with white eyes, and then killed me. I was freaked out, left the game, and ran to tell my dad, but when I came back to the game, there was no sign of any of that.
the first Herobrine Image posted on the Forums was real and i was able to recreate it using BetaCraft launcher. He is bound to a specific seed that spawns you in a masa biome in 1.16
You see; the reason nobody's ever been able to actually prove Herobrine's existence is because if you make a recording of him, he will NOT let you upload it.😨😰😱
If you made a super flat world delete it. Make a new word call it the same name. Delete world then remaking a super flat with the same name. Go back to where you started sometimes the game glitches and loads in the normal world chunks on a super flat. Had a really cool house on a mountain surrounded by a super flat mega village.
Once when I was a child playing minecraft on my Xbox 360, a cave sound appeared and I saw an default Steve arm. I thought it was herobrine but now that I am older, I believe I was seeing things because I was very scared of cave sounds back in the day. Another time, a cave sound appeared again and I turned super quick and saw a entity shadow. Again, I don’t think this was real because I was just a child and I really was afraid of cave sounds. (This testimony isn’t a lie, it’s what I saw or imagined I saw)
I couldn't play minecraft by myself for years because I was paranoid that he was watching me I was terrified of him and my issues with paranoia didn't help, occasionally I feel like I'm still being watched and as much as dont believe in him actually existing, I still get this nagging feeling he is and I end up having to take a break from the game Mining in caves is still difficult in single player
Alright this is very surprising for me, but this video is genuinely very amazing. I couldn't find a single inaccuracy, other than some of the video recreations obviously not being 100% correct obviously, but hey that's just a dumb nitpick. Very cool how you did proper research, it's often rare to see content creators making these sorts of "documentaries" get things this right, which is probably a large problem with the site itself. When I saw the video in my recommendations I thought it was just another clickbait false information video, but you positively surprised me! Thank you for making this.
I saw Herobrine once in a singleplayer world on Minecraft pocket edition when I was really young.. I have no idea how, but thanks to this video it must've been my brother installing mods lol
Imo, herobrine may be a thing - kind of. The most reasonable explanation is the human mob and a lot of bugs with world generator in alpha/beta version of minecraft (especially when they change world saving in beta 1.3 if i remember correctly) - on polish youtube we have at least one legit video where we can see some really weird things with world and one really weird mob which maybe call a "herobrine" things (i may put link to this video if is someone interested in) but it was just a really weird bug with world. We also has second video with probably "herobrine" like a mob but as i know to this day author didn't say it was a "real" thing, or just he want to troll people (i also can put link to this video if someone is interesed in). As i remember, i probably seen herobrine in alpha 1.2.6, but yea - i was something around 10-12yo, was scared af when i seen him and i just download this version of mc to just try to find him, so yea... my brain can just create a fake mob on screen, or i just mistake him with something else v: So yea, herobrine as a someone that want to kill you and destroy your world probably never exists, but like a bugs in world generator or some weird bug that spawn human mob may be a real thing
I can't remember what version it was, but i was looking through the textures. I wanted to make something funny. And suddenly, i found a folder, that only contained two files. 2 png's. The first one was Steve. Nothing unusal about that. Then i opened the other one, and it was the texture of Herobrine. It wasn't something i had added to the files. It was a fresh installation of this version, because i wanted to make some funny textures, from scratch. I don't know why it was there, but i found it. I didn't know about Herobrine back then, so i thought it was a mob i hadn't encountered yet. But no matter how much i played, i never saw it. I didn't know anything about code back then, so i didn't look there for answers. I've tried to find it again, but no luck. I know it's impossible to proof anything without evidence, so if you don't believe me, i don't blame you. But i know what i saw. I don't know if Mojang have removed it afterwards. After all, you download the versions from their servers, so you never know. I don't think that Herobrine was a mob in the game, but maybe that someone put the texture there, to make it look like it was. I don't know, but it could be. Sometimes people add things, without their boss knowing. That has been seen before. So maybe they did it as a joke or something. And even if i had evidence, people could just say it's fake. Back then, the only evidence i could save, was the files. But yeah, mods exist and so on. So, as i said, if you don't believe me, i don't blame you
I remember I joined a PE server in the early days and made my name Herobrine, had lots of kids there convinced since they didn’t look too closely at my Steve skin lol
around 2012 i made a server with a friend of mine that was basically just survival minecraft with herobrine secretly in the world and i rly wish i never gave up on that
I've started watching minecraft vids again recently and I barely ever see mention of herobrine anymore. But, when I do I laugh and say something sarcastic. Only sometimes, the better sounding ones disappear when I try to reply. Not all of them, but some of them. Enough to make me wonder if he's still being covered up.
I'm not lying when I say that Herobrine is real. He was legit in my world. My friend mainly was the one who encountered him but I was walking towards my house and heard lightning even though it wasn't a storm. It was clear weather. Also, each time I logged on to that world my tree farm would have several half broken trees and it wasn't a server. No one could be on the world unless I was. My friend also found a dispenser full of diamonds and a sign that said "thank you" in Swedish where he had dropped one diamond before he got kicked off by Herobrine. He was very reluctant to get back on that world after the incident.
@Wing Shan Cheng The trees had to be real because it wasn't a server or realm which means that my friend couldn't be on the world unless I was on. Also once there were some oak planks leading up to the tops of the trees. I do agree that what he said he saw could've been a prank to make fun of the fact that I believed in Herobrine. I don't think the others were bugs though because we were kind of joking about Herobrine which could've made him a little upset.
Did you know that pressing the Subscribe button can also help keep Herobrine away?
Bruh
herobrine was just a fired mojang employee who is now getting revenge... but he actually is chasing down players who are bad to the game. Still trying to figure out if thats true 🤔🤔
I Dreamed From Herobrine In End And Removed Minecraft
It does not
You can tell with the look of notch

@Arise im guessing you know who is voldemort?
or herobrine
@Benny but the problem is he never attended to harm he just watch and build random stuff on ur world as I remember
Everybody gangsta until "-Added Herobrine"
@PhvntomDragon all of those could be debated about him. But in general mojang is way too squishy
i think the reason why herobrine and tons of other creepypastas are so scary is because usually when reading a creepypasta story you dont get a complete picture of what the antagonist of the story is. meaning that it becomes the most horrifying monster of all, the monster your mind makes for you.

Yo trippin
@Megatrons_feet its real I have proof
I completely understand that

Yes... this is R E A L HEROBRINE!
Best interpretation
I agree but I'd say you should have a rare chance at a sighting off in the distance from the corner of your eye but he can't last no more than 3 to 5 seconds
@Jesse P. Watson Yes true but eventually there will be a mod for that for now this is the best we've got

70 GB?!
That's why java will always be the best
@Tim Wooten the seed doesn't matter
This could happen in an old 1.17 version in any world played for a long time. Now they say it is fixed.
What is the seed?
Maybe not.
I also think he is real
@pan stan (offical) Whether he is real in the game is purely up to you, my friend. Not the matter of fact. Only the matter of you.
He is real. Just in multiple ways, like you said in our mind. But also still real in the game..
@Daryan TSNS Sounds like one.
I always considered him an old miner’s tale.
I've only had a few strange things happen while playing single player. Something unique happened that I've never heard about before though ( just fyi I played on the Xbox 360 at the time). @Adrijan Asani yup
@SoggyMuffinZ 🐸 Cringe to be honest.
@Gaming Penguins thank you thank you… I deserve an award for that 😢
Just like your acting skills 🎁
@SoggyMuffinZ 🐸that's creative tho 👏
@SoggyMuffinZ 🐸 believe me or not ig
I remember how I used to be obsessed with the sighting videos of him due to how creepy yet adrenalizing they were
Been waiting for another video on this channel!
Lol now they are making monster school WHO THE HECK GOT THAT F****** IDEA?!??!
@Nello herobrine kept going from 2017 bcz of monster school
👍
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it :D
@Shamim Mia operater?
I am late to the comment but i just wanna say that i was terrified too, i used to play on pacific all the time, i once wanted to be brave and enter a cave but i heard one of those creepy noises and i left the game i even was terrified of playing alone
@Sparkle3221 So if we see him, we all know it might just be a relefection on this comment...
SAME. FINALLY SOMEOME UNDERSTAND MY FEAR
I can relate to this
i felt a chill down my spine when they stopped "removing herobrine"
Do you know why they stopped? I would like to know a real story about entities that actually were added in "accidentally"
@Sebi RoAF there might be mobs in you house
@YourAverageBedwarsSweat I'm pretty sure villagers weren't in the game yet, I'm talking about waay back, in versions like 1.0.8 and before.
@Sebi RoAF It could be possible that it was a villager (if you were playing in an update with villagers)
@Cheese Fries I never had Pressure Pates outside, I always put them inside the house. Just so mobs couldn't casually open my door.
Never touched that world again after that.
enderman are so smart but not smart that they made iron golem
The fact that I still get a rush of primal fear whenever I see herobrine 😭
What if herobrine was just the embodiment of bugs and glitches that made it Minecraft? It's not like that Herobrine is real as a player like entity but as the one who makes up the things that are weird and horrifyingly unique. This might be why Minecraft Updates are always saying removing Herobrine because they were removing thee bugs.
I love this theory
Removed herobrine is a joke, that's confirmed
He was definitely in the game, back when I first got an Xbox I went to sleep in the tutorial world with the castle in the village portion right outside the tunnel and I was transported to a foggy sort of dimension and I saw him there. I have never saw him again even after playing for years so I still don't know what exactly happened.
@frank grimes It did tho?
great video, thank you for telling it like it is 100%, every other video I’ve seen breaking down herobrine often is misleading for the unseasoned minecrafters. although it is fun to be scared when you’re convinced he exists, gotta realize it just wasn’t a thing.
Glad I could help!
I've actually found one of "herobrine's" tunnels. But it was probably just a generation glitch.
Another way that the rumor kept itself alive is the fact that someone made a song parody about him
Also, Minecraft Animations.
I'm actually very curious about the human thing in Minecraft. I wonder if there is anyone who has activated it in the code to see what it looks like
Rest in peace technoblade, may he rest in peace, dead but not forgotten
@The Brilliant Joseph nah Man, thats just, bad
I agree but why are you saying this on a video about herobrine?
Its not about technoblade its about herobrine explain video
Who?
@The Brilliant Joseph he acutally died
Herobrine is pretty much something i belived in alot of time! As a weird version of Steve who would act as a villian but , now im glad i could find videos about him and know him more! specially your video! : D
You ever see him you'll be abliever for sure. He becomes more and more aggressive. First he'll just appear at weird places, but then you'll find his buildings etc. Eventually he'll start attacking you.
👍
i have a little story about my experience with "herobrine" one day i was playing on singleplayer, my game froze and stopped registering any breaking blocks or updates to the world, however i was able to move and look around, i was in a cave, i looked back and then my pc unfroze and i saw my character which was default steve running towards me, and resync with my actual position than where i was when it froze, at the time i got scared thinking the creepy pasta may be real, i stopped playing the game for about 3 years until i was brave enough to play again, to this day im not sure how such bug can be obtainable in minecraft, knowing this only happens in some online games but i was on singleplayer
sounds like you were rubberbanding due to lag
Singleplayer uses your computer as a server, meaning that it can lag like a server too. This is probably the cause, but I'm not entirely sure.
3:30
It wasn't "photoshoped".
It was a door textured modded in.
And the door texture pack was photoshopped to make it 😮
The Journey- A Story- Herobrine is known as Edward Brine in the far past.
I suck at Minecraft my worst fear is facing the damn warden
In a server I used to play on years ago, the mods trolled players by doing the things herobrine did in the stories, and then teleporting over in a herobrine skin with the name missing, and disappear as soon as you saw him, or even just caught him in the corner of the eye. Used to scare the shit outta me when I was younger.
I remember watching a youtube video like that once but its so old i dont think you can find it anymore
It means Herobrine is Canon, Mojang tried to remove him but Herobrine always comes back.
You're really a cool narrator! Best wishes;)
Thank you!
the most reasonable thing i can think of without watching the video:
the first ever image proof of herobrine could be real somehow, and maybe notch just wanted to add an entity in memory of his brother, acting exactly like a ghost.
After that, there was a really small chance of actually meeting this entity, but seeing how popular and ridiculous this was going, the mojang team decided to remove it entirely. The only weird thing is the "removed herobrine" stuff, but maybe with some coding skills the problem could be solved.
The herobrine user, that didnt have an account apparently, was probably one of his friend that deleted his profile soon after, and they just got away with it
Now, im not accusing anybody of faking and this is just my opinion, but maybe there is a bigger secret, connected somehow to notch's brother; in a few years, i bet that the mistery is gonna be solved
@FREEDOM how can i call them, "so many"
It was 10 years since then already, what kind of few years can you talking about lol.
@BOBAWESOME BOB I know
cool fake story to scare little kids like me at the campsire but i was reading this in the middle of the day so you failed.
@Cash Weird, alright
@WilburfiedYT I concur o7 respect to techno for being a legend
@BOBAWESOME BOB that was random
But RIP Technoblade 😔
o7
I actually thought I saw Herobrine once but it turned out to either be be some left over or corrupted code that caused the old human mob to show up in a version it wasn't supposed to be in
I'm not sure how it happened but it was the early days of minecraft so a lot of things were happening that weren't intended
I recently found your channel, and it’s amazing, keep it up man
Thank you so much!
I'm in my 30s and still absolutely love the legend.
It's been 10-11 years
I think this myth will never die
Nostalgic times, i loved the lore of herobrine, i loved mods with herobrine.
I usually reinstall Minecraft only for nostalgic reasons
I saw an 11 year old kid who was so terrified of herobrine, to the point where I had to tell him that he isn't real and it was just a hoax made up by someone. safe to say he was a little bit disappointed, but also relieved in a way.
The legend of herobrine will forever be cemented in minecrafts culture
Hero brine is such a unique horror villain/creature and I love it
I love how you used the original herobrine seed for this.
Weird
I never knew about that! Super interesting video, I can't believe you only have 18.4k subs. You are so underated!
@Eric Szylkowski yes
19.1k more subs after just a day
👍
Thank you so much!! :D
the fact that you really have to explain what/who herobrine is really says a lot
I ran into a Herobrine once, probably was just a hacker that stumbled across my server but idk. They were either very clever or using an A.I. because it seemed more like a program that had been added
@The Scarlet Slayer had a similar experience and was so confused 💀
@KodiVR they said it was prolly a hacker
@bruh ye
On singleplayer?
0:38 I think I can see a small difference between the default player and Herobrine: two pixels are black on the default skin Steve but white on Herobrine's texture. In this part of the video, there is a normal player at first but then it transitions to Herobrine
Steve 🔁 Herobrine
*YOU KNOW WHAT'S HILARIOUS? NO ONE IN BEDROCK HAS EVER MADE A CUSTOM WORLD WITH ALL OF MINECRAFT'S HOAXES OR ENTITIES, YET THEY MADE A CLONE OF AETHER MOD*
@AFewOfMyCommentsAreCringy. . . it is a fake clone
not a clone, but an ungratefull attempt to recreate it.
Really underrated video man, Awsome content! Super well made and interesting!
It's weird to me how few videos about Herobrine mention his once being included in a skin pack.
well. i do have a weird things happening in my OLDEST server on minecraft when i was 8 years old. that time i play minecraft and live in a village, and then i quit the game and saw... a random giant square hole thingy, replaced the village house inside a cave. and then days and days. it also still happening like that. how?
Cut walls are normal. I see them all the time.
Y’all remember when there was an actual skin of herobrine in one of the first skin packs that the creators added on console or maybe on pc? I remember seeing it on ps4 but you had to buy the skin or the pack at the time. I could be or could not be wrong bout this!
I remember seeing it on PS3 version before it was removed. Can't remember which pack though.
Minecraft should've been making a live show at minecon as a tribute to Technoblade 😭
Nice tutorial, I'll test it right now!
herobrine keeps adding himself back in. that's why they have to constantly remove him.
Man I remember how scared I was of herobrine that i refused to mine and took a break from minecraft a few years
Finally someone knows herobrine isn't real.
thats why i love creepypasta like this
when the things feel real
it gives beautifull meaning to it and a nice story
One time i saw herobrine in one of my worlds
I had a mod, but i didnt know, they secretly added it
The no leave trees was actually a glitch where trees spawned upside down.
I was spooked for a week when I saw a forest without leaves but when I decided to go to my enderman farm I understood why I had so many trees without leaves I need them for the farm :D
I like how people are still trying to figure out herobrine after all these years
The only memory I have of a herobrine esk experience is once I was building a house out of every wool block I finished it but when I got inside half the roof disappeared at the time I thought endermen had greifed it but now that I think about it, this event happened within 30 seconds I might have just quit without saving or something I cant remember just a strange time in a strange game.
So from what I heard, 1.18 & 1.19 he wasn’t removed from these version’s, so he could be hunted.
I only found your channel today and I have already subbed. Amazing content and I hope you reach a lot more subs in the future!
Same
Thank you so much!!
the first Herobrine Image posted on the Forums was real and i was able to recreate it using BetaCraft launcher. He is bound to a specific seed that spawns you in a masa biome in 1.16
You see; the reason nobody's ever been able to actually prove Herobrine's existence is because if you make a recording of him, he will NOT let you upload it.😨😰😱
@AFewOfMyCommentsAreCringy. . . made it up my 15 year old self
nice reason to be scared of a fictional character, also from what source did you hear it, fellow child?
💀
Did you know these spooky cave sounds appear now whenever they want to scare you
I couldn't play minecraft by myself for years because I was paranoid that he was watching me
I was terrified of him and my issues with paranoia didn't help, occasionally I feel like I'm still being watched and as much as dont believe in him actually existing, I still get this nagging feeling he is and I end up having to take a break from the game
Mining in caves is still difficult in single player
Herobrine might be notch's long lost brother or dead brother...
Can we just take a moment and appreciate the fact someone named this fella “herobrine”
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that :D
I saw Herobrine once in a singleplayer world on Minecraft pocket edition when I was really young.. I have no idea how, but thanks to this video it must've been my brother installing mods lol
So it was never real but still getting goosebumps playing alone
Herobrine just wanted his hamster back 😂
I still don't wanna fully give up on thinking at he is real. I will continue to think so till my Demise.
Herobrine is essentially Minecraft's Santa Claus. Not real, but it's fun to imagine he is.
So, as i said, if you don't believe me, i don't blame you
I remember I joined a PE server in the early days and made my name Herobrine, had lots of kids there convinced since they didn’t look too closely at my Steve skin lol
around 2012 i made a server with a friend of mine that was basically just survival minecraft with herobrine secretly in the world and i rly wish i never gave up on that
11:27 caught me so off guard LOL
yo why you using my pfp
@Yelow LIVE bro copied me
@realyelow
I had to save the best for last hahah!
Love your video's. Interesting topics and very well done..
I'm gonna convince my kids he is real
I normally hate the sit down in front of the camera format, but I didn't this time lol, good job dude
Thank you! :D
They should officially add him into Minecraft as an April fools joke
Yes an April fools joke snapshot
I'm not lying when I say that Herobrine is real. He was legit in my world. My friend mainly was the one who encountered him but I was walking towards my house and heard lightning even though it wasn't a storm. It was clear weather. Also, each time I logged on to that world my tree farm would have several half broken trees and it wasn't a server. No one could be on the world unless I was. My friend also found a dispenser full of diamonds and a sign that said "thank you" in Swedish where he had dropped one diamond before he got kicked off by Herobrine. He was very reluctant to get back on that world after the incident.
@ツLeoWasXDツ Roblox profile pic = ignore
@Wing Shan Cheng The trees had to be real because it wasn't a server or realm which means that my friend couldn't be on the world unless I was on. Also once there were some oak planks leading up to the tops of the trees. I do agree that what he said he saw could've been a prank to make fun of the fact that I believed in Herobrine. I don't think the others were bugs though because we were kind of joking about Herobrine which could've made him a little upset.
@Asa Pyle maybe you friend was pranking you
And lightning is a bug half broken tree might be your friend of bug
@ツLeoWasXDツ not fake. I don't lie about those things.
fake and your happy😁 is also cringe
Mojang should add an update close to Halloween that adds a burnt forest biome along with the sand pyramids shown in the video in the desert.
Great video! Thanks for making it, it answered alot of my questions about Herobrine!
That's what he does, appears off in the distance and disappears, at first.
