I remember working W5UN from Australia, by sked. He was -17 I seem to recall to my single 10el Yagi. I swear I could hear his tones in the speaker though.
And now someone with 2 or 4 yagi arrays thing there systems is good but that's doing all the work. How much forward gain does it have?
