In France, my country, Astérix is almost as famous as Spongebob. It’s a humoristic comic, so the amusement park is meant to not take itself seriously. That’s why Zeus has ducky panties (there was a vote to choose the patterns) and why you can see a funny talking trash can.
@Theme Park Review this park is a small but very interesting park . Not far from them they have Disney land parks . So they have to offer something different. Oziris / tonerre 2 Zeus / pégase express are fun coaster .goudurix is kinda old and not confortable . However toutatis coaster seem to be awesome ride . When I see what they did with velocicoaster and panthéon. I can just admire . Need to go back there . Hope you have a fun time . Welcome to France
Tonnerre 2 Zeus looks SO much better than Mt. Olympus's Zeus, holy crap! That tunnel was awesome too! was not expecting the lightning bolts! Awesome theming!
Welcome to France, Im glad you came to our country and hope you enjoyed your stay there. We are pretty proud of our Tonerre 2 Zeus because we do not have a lot of coasters in our country. Keep posting , i follow your work for many years !
This park is without hesitation one of my favorite. It has some very good coaster with Oziris or the new Tonnerre 2 Zeus. And with the new Toutatis in 2023, I can't wait to return back to see what this monster have in his stomach ! And also for the non-french, at 13:01 the guy behind just yelled " Awh my balls !!" xD
I've been there just a few weeks ago, here's my little review: 1. Tonnere 2 Zeus: I was really curious about it because of the retracking. Sadly I could not enjoy it, because the restraints were super painful for me. I'm quite slim, so they basically held me only by my hip bones. Would it not have been for that, it could be an amazing coaster. 2. OzIris: This was my 100th count and for me clearly the best coaster in the park. Custom inverted coaster, great layout, butter smooth. 3. Trace de Hourra: Fun not-bobsled bobsled coaster. It apparently tells the story of a caveman that discovered walking on 2 feet, and the coaster traces his descent to his friends to tell them about it, while shouting "Hooray". 4. Pégase Express: Very surprised by this one. Super fun and twisty layout, just what I love most in coasters. Had it just a touch more airtime I'd rank it even before Oziris. 5. Goudurix: I was a bit frightened of it because it's 30+ years old, 36m high and a Vekoma. Not a good combination. I'm used to getting beaten up by SLCs, but man, I thought I had lost my brain somewhere along the ride. At the station there's a little plaque congratulation someone for 30-ish consecutive rides on this. Biggest respect to that man, because I was defeated after just one round. 6. Vol D'Icare: It's alright. It seems like a demonstrator for new breakthroughs in brake technology, the way that one brake slows you. Also the French are not afraid of physical contact. Loads of dudes sitting happily in their buddy's lap. Unusual for me, but sure, why not? lol 7. SOS Numérobis: What a weird name. The coaster isn't anything special, just super loud wheels and it has a nice hop of airtime in the last row over the lift hill. 8. I'm really excited for Toutatis. What I saw there was looking amazing. In general I can really recommend this park, despite being a bit negative in this review. Theming is decent, flat rides are decent, water rides are good, food is superb. You can spend a great day here.
this park has some amazing coasters. The new zeus looks a lot more comfy. I hope they'll do the same to goudurix soon-ish because that one is quite rough. I also really like the length of these coasters, you really get your waiting time worth
Thanks for shooting video/vlog in this very underrated park. I don’t know if you mentioned it but the reason they didn’t want to build the top of it toutatis taller than the Astérix statue is actually because they can’t. The airport is nearby and it was forbidden by the law to build something taller than 60 meters. But Toutatis is gonna be hella awesome!
European coasters: If you want intense you got it, but don't worry we have plenty of chill ones if you aren't a roller coaster person. :) American coasters: I don't care, your plunging 350 feet whether you like it or not.
There is exceptions though, like SeaWorld/Busch Gardens who often have a Sesame Street kiddie coaster, or Disney parks that always have at least one chill coaster(like Gadget's Go Coaster in California or Casey Jr. in Paris).
I've always loved the roar of a good B&M as it goes around the track, but that SOS Numérobis coaster at 13:26 makes an absolutely glorious noise as it goes around! I love it!
My top of the coasters, from favorite to leath favorite: 1)Tonerre2Zeus: Almost perfect. I love the backwards idea and there is no breaks. It's really 2 non-stop minutes, and I love the airtimes too. The only problem is the theming. 2)Oziris: It's fast, non-stop, and the theming is cool. 3)Pégase Express: I do like the Paris Subways parody and the backwards section. I found it blander than Oziris on Tonerre2Zeus thought. 4)La Trace du Hourra: I love bobsled coasters, and I like the prehistoric theming. 5)Goudurix: It would be ranked better if it wasn't uncomfortable. 6)Vol d'Icare: The theming is good but it doesn't worth more than 15 minutes waiting. 7)SOS Numérobis: This one is just boring and theming is limited. It's obvious when you see Oziris just near.
I definitely can feel a very nice vibe though that I even never been to this park but that the rides, rollercoasters, everything! Especially the people as well! Great video as always and that definitely looking for that ride that is being built that you should ride it when it’s finish and open!
Well Goudurix looks almost smooth here but trust me (this is my homepark and i ride it everytime cuz i'm stupid) this shit is really painfull :'( but yes the layout is interesting
i just started watching this channel, and i love how much energy this guy has. other roller coaster channels have barely any energy but this guy is full of it. keep it up!!!!!
Yes and no. While we were invited to the park to come and film, and we were allowed to film on some rides before the park opened and after the park closed, and the park also gave us the behind the scenes tour. We did also pay for our admission and the front of the line pass. We purchased the "Premium Ticket" which was €174 per person for our entire group.
@Theme Park Review Well to be honest I rode it a few times before it was retracked for a better experience and did it only once since. After that, I also did a few SLC and in my mind Goudurix was worst (except the SLC in Walibi Holland, worst coaster ever 😭). I should reride it next time I go to Asterix 😁
@Resident Evil France Goudurix has ONE really rough spot in that first inversion. The rest of it is not really "smooth" but not as rough as an average SLC, for example.
@Resident Evil France i went on 2 slcs one being at my home park and its the less rough in the world. I like vekomas because i can handle the shake but listening to goudurix comments it seems way way worse
@Theme Park Review I agree with you about it not being a roller coaster. But i wonder what you think of it as a flat ride ? Also did you tried the water rides ?
@Rakhnair Well, they are wrong in my opinion. Or they are just adding stupid rides that aren't coasters just so that people can artificially inflate their coaster count. Personally, I don't even count coasters anymore so they can count whatever they want, but I don't consider a Disk-o Coaster to be an actual "roller coaster."
@Kelly Lum I still don't have them all though! Like, we've never filmed on Face/Off, Stunt Coaster, Flight of Fear, and a few others. Maybe I can do a "top 5" and do things like Beast, Banshee, Diamondback, Orion, etc....
So, here's the thing... We have been many times and we love Kings Island, but their filming policy requires us to film before the park opens to the public, so that very much limits the amount of filming we can do there. Every time we go, we do film 2-3 rides each visit, but not enough to do an "every coaster at Kings Island" video.
@Theme Park Review 😂 Yes indeed! And to think that ride have actually been refurbished a few years ago, and it’s still not comfortable… Oh well. Glad you had a tour of Toutatis! And hope you enjoyed your trip in France!
No cuz why does Zeus have ducky panties??
@quentin Ramecourt oui aussi
@Lulu Berlu y a pas un partenariat avec Undiz aussi?
From what i know its a partnership with Undiz
@Kurtfan1991(FRENCH) 🇺🇦#SaveUkraine #SaveArtsakh c rien c la france

I don’t know why, but I feel like this park doesn’t get enough credit for how many good coasters it has
Dont sorry, Park fans love it
problem is its near to kiddy land aka disneyland
@Theme Park Review i bet you wanna try it out!!!
It's very popular in France, like the Astérix comics.

Love the content, keep on posting these roller coaster videos!
That bobsled was majestic!
Tonnerre 2 Zeus looks SO much better than Mt. Olympus's Zeus, holy crap! That tunnel was awesome too! was not expecting the lightning bolts! Awesome theming!
@Anikan Stern Yepper! Born and Bred Cheesehead :D!
U from Wisconsin?
Welcome to France, Im glad you came to our country and hope you enjoyed your stay there.
We are pretty proud of our Tonerre 2 Zeus because we do not have a lot of coasters in our country.

I would love to be on a roller coaster with this guy

@Thomas 69 😂
Ah mes coucouniette 😲😂
I devoured the Asterix books growing up. Asterix + Coasters = definitively on my bucket list to visit someday. :D
This park will be top tier after they get toutatis
Gravity Group did a great job with Tonnerre 2 Zeus!
I wonder how their precut track compares to intamins prefab
That's cool that they let you get the behind the scenes on the new coaster. Can't wait for the video next year
This park is so unique, I would love to visit one day. Every coaster has some kind of wild element in the design. Great video!!

omfg the Zeus coaster looked so fast!
It's fast for a wooden coaster but not to fast, it's super intense though.
Well done for going backwards and it’s more than insane
Oml what an excellent video! This was a thriller. I was only in Disneyland Paris last Wednesday! The flight force Was Freaky though!!
This park has less attention from the public than supposed to. Great lineup of coasters.
I love how you can always tell how boring or exciting a ride is just by the tone of his voice.
Thanks for shooting video/vlog in this very underrated park.

As someone who absolutely loves mythology, I would KILL to go to this park
I've always loved the roar of a good B&M as it goes around the track, but that SOS Numérobis coaster at 13:26 makes an absolutely glorious noise as it goes around! I love it!

You guys are hilarious. I am Zeus.... that cracked me up
Is this your number one park in France.
I would ride these coasters. hope to visit there and Disneyland Paris!
This park feels so underrated

I found the front seat to be much rougher than the back. I rode the front row of the back car and it actually was MUCH better in that seat!
I love how this guy has so much fun on every ride! 🤩
Looks great! I will miss the helix on Zeus, though. ☹️
i just started watching this channel, and i love how much energy this guy has. other roller coaster channels have barely any energy but this guy is full of it. keep it up!!!!!
やっぱり一番好きなのは木製コースター!p(^-^)q
Have you been invited to the park ? Did you have a VIP experience by not doing the queue line on every ride ? Thanks.
Yes and no. While we were invited to the park to come and film, and we were allowed to film on some rides before the park opened and after the park closed, and the park also gave us the behind the scenes tour. We did also pay for our admission and the front of the line pass. We purchased the "Premium Ticket" which was

These are very cool rides 👌🔥💨
Feel like this channel is gonna be over when TPR manages to ride all the roller coasters in the world
Theme rides are excellent 👌
Zeus's looks awesome
when i first heard about gouderix i thought that was the whole park and no good coasters, but then i heard about oziris or toutatis
Can you please do the rides at Dollywood in Tennessee?
U guys are so brave to talk on these coasters instead of just screaming the whole time🤪🤪🤪
Seven loops is always good
Great video thanks Great job
I always handled vekomas, for a reference is goudurix more rough than a slc??
@Theme Park Review There is that one turn at the end that is also pretty brutal (might depend of the day).
@Theme Park Review Well to be honest I rode it a few times before it was retracked for a better experience and did it only once since. I'd say yes.
Love you guys your so funny I love roller coasters and you guys keep up the good work
Any coaster that goes backwards is dope cuz u can't see
New sub here from the Uk love your channel
Parc Astérix translated to English is Asterix Park
You forget "Discobelix" in the video, it is a great Disk'o Coaster.
@Theme Park Review Say this to Coaster Count.
I didn't "forget" it... that's not a roller coaster... That's a flat ride.
One thing about wooden rollercoaster are fast 💨 this is so cool 🔥👌
You should ride every roller coaster at kings island
@Kelly Lum I still don't have them all though! Like, we've never filmed on Face/Off, Stunt Coaster, Flight of Fear, and a few others. Maybe I can do a "top 5" and do things like Beast, Banshee, Diamondback, Orion, etc....
@Theme Park Review you know you could combine all of the videos you have made of kings island roller coasters and put them all in one video
Welcome in France 🇨🇵

And to think that ride have actually been refurbished a few years ago, and it’s still not comfortable… Oh well.
Glad you had a tour of Toutatis! And hope you enjoyed your trip in France!
To be fair, it was a "tooth chipper" moment which could easily translate into a "Ball Crusher" as well! 😂
