Looking at this now, you can kind of see the progression of music history with each character. Blue found the note block (crude music) and basic instrumentation with different blocks underneath the note block, red founded notes and stringing them into music, yellow created automation of the music (essentially like a technician), whilst green is the musical genius and is really like a writer/ composer in a real world sense.
Given that Alan works during the day, TSC having to help him animate, and the fact this all happens at 3 AM, it makes sense why he's the only one asleep. Now the question is how the HELL didn't this wake Alan up?!
What! 200 million views??? 🤯🤯🤯 Idk what to say. Other than thanks! Oh, and another note block animation coming VERY soon ;) Also, Alan Becker is da man!
Aaron man you need to work more with Alan, both of you are such an amazing duo and I honestly hope you make more music like this one becases we need to see more of this.
@MilkyYTOfficial I just think it’s crazy how good these videos are with just stick figures as the main characters and sound effects but no words. It just works so perfectly well.
I love the tiny details that can be found in these animations. The time displayed on the desktop is around 3:30AM, and you can see Orange trying to sleep and just being paranoid from all the noise.
I like the edition that none of them have sound effects when the audio is muted, no whooshing, no foot steps. And those effects are amplified when the audio is blasting
God i remember this. can’t believe it’s been 4 years now. feels like it hasn’t been that long and idk why but it’s good to see this again and I still like the music 👍
THIS IS ADORABLE! Every episode you keep delivering! It just keeps getting better and better! Probably my favorite Shorts episode so far. Thanks so much for coming back and doing what you do. I'm always looking forward to watching your animations!
If it weren't for red, the music we heard wouldn't have existed. He discovered that the note blocks had more than one pitch, he helped create this whole video. Kudos and my respect to red.
Right around 2:58 You see yellow pause when green adds two extra notes to that loop. I love that detail because it is the animator showing yellow didn't know where the whole thing was going right away.
I didn't notice that detail at all! Thanks for pointing it out! That's a perfect showcase of Alan's dedication to even the smallest parts of his videos.
After re watching the entire series a few times, i realized that each colour has their own special abilities. Blue is really good at farming and potions, red is really good with animals, green is really good with music and building, yellow is good with redstone and command blocks, and orange is like an all rounder who is decent at all of them. Did anyone else notice this?
It took me the longest time to realize the blocks under Red and Blue's noteblocks were supposed to depict instruments. Blue is playing a cello, but I can't quite figure out what Red is supposed to be playing
I LOVED this, it must’ve took a lot of editing and patience for it. I also like how the animation is very smooth and creative. Best music so far in the entire series of this. I am very happy now Alan Becker.
I like how you give each stick figure their own personality, including personal strengths in music. You got one bassist, one keyboarder, one DJ and composer, and one redstone specialist and drummer. And of course the grumpy sleepy guy.
I really appreciate how Green is the one with the ear for music, and he literally just gives an example of the beat he's looking for to the Redstone-literate friend, who instantly recreates it. Legendary.
I'm Japanese, but this wonderful video has no English sentences, so people from various countries can easily watch it, and I can feel the kindness of other countries.
I am back after 4 years because i deeply missed this vid and im really hoping for anoyher episode to come out! Thank you for being such a legend and being apart of mh beloved childhood dear Alan
I am watching you since I was a kid awesome content mate still makes me nostalgic for a reason cus your content makes me amazed and the work that you put into the animations. I really appreciate it 🥰.

... Why you make this animation this is so cool
And orange?
i go eat a quaso
@good wdym?
And after all these years, the logic for a noteblock with a lever still stands. Bonus points for consistency.
LMAO! Yes!
Someone needs to get this to Mojang so they can make into an in-game music disc. That`d be awesome.
@nguyen ta dude a stack? Nah its should be like 14 emeralds
EXACTLY
@nguyen ta oh hell to the fuckin no. A stack of normal diamond yea maybe?
@- SimplyAsh - didn’t you hear? The Nether DID freeze over
YES DEFINETILEY
I'm watching it again 4 years later and it's still beautiful and gorgeous
Me 2
Same
same
Agree
I’ll come back when it turns 5 years old
I like how Red doesn't realize the sound is turned off, banging his hands on the noteblocks thinking something broke
E
@Jorhuaka Why do I think I've seen that before
7yvu7t
Just noticed that and it's hilarious
Given that Alan works during the day, TSC having to help him animate, and the fact this all happens at 3 AM, it makes sense why he's the only one asleep.
Now the question is how the HELL didn't this wake Alan up?!
what if hes on a sleepover
@Fong Jasper *7 layers of heaven
@Dietchapstick He lives in Alan's Hard Drive.
i like how everyone is just now solving this out when it was obvious first time-
it happens while the computer is off
the one animation channel that didn't switch to cringe and overly-kid friendly content and its the best one I'll ever see
Exactly
Yes sir
you are right WiseGameplays
Yes sir
Yes sir
It took me literal years to realize Red and Blue's note blocks were on top of their respective instruments, just cut in half. Brilliant
Not gonna lie, I thought Red's thing looked like a hedgehog
Wow.
I thought blue’s thing was a car
It all makes so much sense now
@rebel it becomes very obvious in ep 16 i think
I like how green just shows red how the rhythm goes and instead of needing to show him how to play it he just picks up the tempo and rhythm perfectly
I need a 10 hour version of this song in my life right now
@Jorhuaka can you translate it please I will really be so happy thanks
Yes
I tried to find it, but the only thing I could find was on KZclip. Try searching up
1hr of Jazzy Note Blocks

Aaron man you need to work more with Alan, both of you are such an amazing duo and I honestly hope you make more music like this one becases we need to see more of this.
3 weeks ago? I thought this comment would be older.
I think I’ve watched this now over 10 times, it is just too good.
@MilkyYTOfficial ❤️
@Never Settle omg yes
@MilkyYTOfficial I just think it’s crazy how good these videos are with just stick figures as the main characters and sound effects but no words. It just works so perfectly well.
@Never Settle heh, this is one of my favourites and the most nostalgic one
I love that this shows that green is basically the musician of the group. He knows how to form a good tune.
4 года прошло, а это по-прежнему моя любимая серия
Тоже самое, я могу вечно пересматривать это... Это такой кайф для ушей..
Remember when this was just some stickmans having fun with Minecraft objects? :)
I love the way this series evoluted into what it is at this day.
@КАТАН КОСТЯ gjccug
Do you mean evolved?
10000000000000.£
Yes
Petition for a full length version of this with the stickfigures playing their respective parts
It feels so nostalgic seeing the stickmen playing around with old blocks and textures
Ummm I wouldn't say it's adorable. Just awesome, amazing and cool
It is so beautiful and very nice
Du bist gut mach deine Videos weiter
If it weren't for red, the music we heard wouldn't have existed. He discovered that the note blocks had more than one pitch, he helped create this whole video. Kudos and my respect to red.
4 years later this legend is back to my memory
So its already been four years since this came out, i still remember the day i watched this for the first time. So nostalgic
I can feel the love and effort that was put in this.
I remember the good old days when i watched this for the music. Its too catchy and good.
I love how the second Yellow and Green show up, they flex their mechanism skills and passion for visual and/or musical arts respectively.
@ahmari Wilson r/ihadastroke
And then theres orange🤣
@ahmari Wilson
wow wow wubbzy?/?/?/??/?/????/
Ben Berat Özkan merhaba
Right around 2:58 You see yellow pause when green adds two extra notes to that loop. I love that detail because it is the animator showing yellow didn't know where the whole thing was going right away.
@SavannahSparrow I'll be honest I thought I posted way to late for anyone to see this. So it's nice someone else sees te detail now.
I didn't notice that detail at all! Thanks for pointing it out! That's a perfect showcase of Alan's dedication to even the smallest parts of his videos.
we need this on a music disc in the game
Oh God after i watched this after 4 years this is a masterpiece but better
Guxg
小さい頃よく見てたけど本当に上手くできてると思う。

I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. You can tell by the items the always grab. It's linked to their character.
i did
@Wander-Core yeah like YOU SHOULD'VE ALREADY NOTICE THAT IN THE FIRST FEW EPISODES
It seriously took you THAT many rewatches?
i love these animations! keep it up! this is probably my favourite one out of them all!!
It took me the longest time to realize the blocks under Red and Blue's noteblocks were supposed to depict instruments.
Blue is playing a cello, but I can't quite figure out what Red is supposed to be playing
@Realaxing sound of Nature No its batman
NO its ALAN BEKER
@TNT Yeeter yes it's guitar
maybe a piano
Given the sound,, maybe a guitar?
I LOVED this, it must’ve took a lot of editing and patience for it. I also like how the animation is very smooth and creative. Best music so far in the entire series of this. I am very happy now Alan Becker.
This guy has some muscles. He has the audacity to put a good vibe warning in the description
I love this, it's funny how they play minecraft on the desktop and brings me so much nostalgia
I like how you give each stick figure their own personality, including personal strengths in music. You got one bassist, one keyboarder, one DJ and composer, and one redstone specialist and drummer. And of course the grumpy sleepy guy.
Yellow is the redstoner, green is the musician then blue is the botanist with red as an animal lover then sc as a... Fighter?
Omei got
We all know THAT guy.
They are all great at fighting tho
me
This got 200M views in 4 years wow it really is so nostalgia if you check out some old vids of Alan the animations really evolved
3:54 this part is amazing!
You know this is one of the most creative things to be made on this platform.
This would be a awsome screen saver watching these guys always go into a new adventure
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the MUSIC? It's magnificent! Props to AaronGrooves.
I really appreciate how Green is the one with the ear for music, and he literally just gives an example of the beat he's looking for to the Redstone-literate friend, who instantly recreates it. Legendary.
BOt
Wait, yellow just helps with the beat and not interrupts green's beat? I didn't knew
😇
@Asian boy vjohicucgxgu
This man deserves more than 20 million subscribers for sure!
I remember how I used to rewatch this alot since it was amazing and it still is
I love how the beat their making is like a bed alarm and how people turn it off
You'll know when the animators took a lot of time animating if you understand what the gang are saying and doing.
Man this is such a masterpiece it is tradition to watch it every now and then also this brings back so many memories.
Orange: Leader
Green: Musician
Blue: Farmer
Yellow: Redstone engineer
Red : Animal breeder
Red: Animal Lover
Yellow: Redstone Expert
Blue: Best at Plants and Potions
Green: Best at music
Orange: A mix of everything
NO BLUE IS VIETNAMESE
orange is second coming
Purple must be the spell crafter
@GachaWolfRylanJ Santos blue
GREEN IS A BULDER TO
I'd like to imagine that at the end Alan just woke up startled when his computer randomly started playing very loud music for about 10 seconds.
It’s been 4 years and I still can’t get this song out of my head lol
This feels more long ago than it actually is, I thought it was like 7 years old.
4 years later it's still all stuck in my head.
I was walking around Costco the other day and this song was playing in my head on repeat.
We need a full version on spotify and youtube.
I think it was on band camp or something
Heck yeah we do! I would probably listen to it on loop for like an hour
@Sco4pion jazzy note blocks
@WordBomb what is the song called? before orange turned down the volume
How true
200 MILLION Views... That's how good that tune is and the build up is just... 👌
green single-handedly made a whole band by teaching them simple things
to think they're all doing this without sheet music
@Miraflor Zars fr
🥲🥲🥲😚😚😚😚😚😝😍😃😃🥰🥲😍🥲🤩🥲😋😋
何回見ても飽きない! かれこれ100回ぐらい見てるんじゃないかな...まあ、結論としてはAlan Beckerさんは素晴らしいアニメーターですということが言いたい。
わかる
even after it's over it's all so beautiful as beautiful as looking at it for the first time
I wanna see a Noteblock 2 on this, so we can see The Second Coming's Musical Talent...
I cant even put the redstone repeater on the glass no matter what i tried waaaaaaaah
Hahahahahah
Explodes noteblock
I think that would be awesome!
note block 2 to have red yellow green blue orange
This was such an amazing animation I can’t stop rewinding it
I’ve watched this so many times, I absolutely love it!
Chicos, esto si es musica
このep5とep16は大好きでずっと見てたから頭の中で全部再生出来るようになっちゃった
If music blocks worked with levers like at 4:05 there would be so much more potential with noteblocks
The full song needs to be uploaded individually.
HarryIsTheGamingGeek, you're absolutely right! Music now available online at aarongrooves.bandcamp.com/track/jazzy-note-blocks
HarryIsTheGamingGeek especially thr end
This is ABSOLUTELY the BEST video ever made! The note block song is AMAZING and I’ve got it stuck in my head! 🤩
i still love all the three noteblock music challenges especially the last one but still the first two episodes of it is the best ones too
I'm Japanese, but this wonderful video has no English sentences, so people from various countries can easily watch it, and I can feel the kindness of other countries.
This channel never fails to make me smile
anyone else listening to this on full blast?
When you realize that stick figures are better musicians than you
IM WORKING ON A REMIX OF THE SONG
practice makes (almost) perfect.
they always be
It’s true, too :(
@Dreadnautilus still do its ez to play those on the piano
This is better than any music video I’ve ever seen
They always have a musical talent when it comes to Minecraft
I’ve listened to this song about 20 times a day now!
I like how they all flow with each other in this episode and like their ideas and aren't just like "AYE BITCH STOP WHATCHU DOIN"
I am back after 4 years because i deeply missed this vid and im really hoping for anoyher episode to come out! Thank you for being such a legend and being apart of mh beloved childhood dear Alan
I don't know Why people Dislike this content. Isn't this what youtube needs
@Nuno Santiago He is just that powerful, accept it
They dislike because yellow stopped the 2 bottom rows of redstone drums with his mind
Dislike with a capital D
Oh 666 likes 😑😑😑
Xegy i was 666th like
I love the animation and how everyone knows the notes instantly! I take weeks to learn new notes.
I demand you put this on Spotify immediately Siri
Watching this in 2023 and it's still a bop
I like how they managed to make Rock techno music.
今でも見てしまうくらいなんか癖になる動画
170M views, totally deserved yet still underrated
I wonder how much money he made with 195 million views now

@THEcoolGAMER60 Yes
Right now he's got 183 million views
@sewdyer they're joking lol
This is a real certified classic.
This video (+song) is rewatchable beyond compare and it is amazing
This series of stick figures with Minecraft stuff on a windows background is incredible
they learned more note blocks in five minutes than I did in five years lol
still amazing after 3 years
@Tsukki I have seen all of them long time ago
you should see note block universe
This video reached 1 million likes...
OK, YOU DESERVE IT, Alan. >:3
And they probably have to because they probably used a computer 🖥 or laptop 💻
>:3=I’m really proud of that!
I hope minecraft adds a feature where you can actually control the sound with a lever
I am watching you since I was a kid awesome content mate still makes me nostalgic for a reason cus your content makes me amazed and the work that you put into the animations. I really appreciate it 🥰.
Just noticed but the fact he recorded it at 3 am shows how much effort he does to he's videos or might be an effect
Now this...
Is what I call *Music*
