Those stairs are really original! Especially the placement & integration into the home. It does stand out among all the diverse types of stairs in tiny houses. A lot of good ideas and unique aspects in this tiny house's design. Very cool!
I bought this tiny home a few months ago and I live in it off grid on a small farm my husband and I are reclaiming. I was thrilled to see this video and wanted to share what it's actually like. Yes, a beauty for sure! But also it's warm and comfortable. Everything has been thought out and ideas developed, implemented and integrated into the whole design. The water system is great, I like having a holding tank. The solar battery closet is perfect for connecting to solar panels set up outside and the kitchen is very efficient as well as beautiful. The stairs are originally what drew me to investigate this particular house. I always disliked the stairs in the middle and ladders (it's fine but not for me). The stairs being tucked away out over the tongue makes it feel even more cozy when you stretch out in bed after a long days work. And yes the sky lights are great for star gazing. Oh and that bathroom is jut lovely. It's an experience and a joy. I just love it.All the details in the the home are a really efficient and integrated balance of function and beauty. I can't speak to traveling around because I don't do that. What a blessing to live in a thoughtfully crafted house.
Exceptional design. I rarely feel like the 24ft ones are "liveable" after traveling for a bit in a 24ft RV. This changes everything. LOVE your design. When its my turn to finally own one, I will check you guys out. Plus you are where I'd like to live. Fabulous
Absolutely beautiful and adorable. ❤️ The old-fashioned vibe in this home. Beautiful kitchen and bath areas. Thank you for sharing. Your wee ones are so precious and blessed to have you home with them.
I love that the stairs are tucked away! Such a smart layout. Great use of space. It's lovely! What a wonderful blessed life y'all have made for your family. Your kids have a great advantage, having both parents at home. I love it! ❤
Beautiful and comfortable home, I could definitely live in it. Adding the spiral staircase by adding them to the outside part that is usually wasted space is absolutely brilliant!
That"s a really thoughtfully designed house in such a lovely area. Really worth the money because of the quality and vibe. Way to go. Good luck in all you do !!!
This was yet another delightful video highlighting a space with many deliberate choices to make the spaces both comfortable and welcoming. I think people are very wise to rent various spaces to get a feel for what it’s like to live in a TH. It also lets guests’ minds wander and evaluate what their must haves are. Having said all that, I absolutely would not want to live in such a space. To me they’re claustrophobic and I can’t imagine buying a space that requires heroic efforts to make a bed nicely, let alone change it. And I’m not a fan of toilets that don’t flush like “normal.” I come back often to several TH channels and I truly enjoy having my skeptical ideas tickled while also admiring “another way to think about that is…” This channel is always fun to visit. And I’m always endlessly grateful to have the opportunity to watch nifty videos that let me see all kinds of creative expressions that I’d never be willing to take part in in real life.
What a delightfully honest comment! Thank you for visiting our channel and your openness to explore different ways of doing/seeing things even if you wouldn’t want to live in a tiny home on wheels ☺️👊🍻
I really liked the epoxy on the butcher block counter tops. I had not thought of that before, but it is absolutely perfect! We had hardwood floors growing up and I have always missed that hard shine that mom kept on them. Reminiscent of those beloved floors.
I love this tiny house, ESPCIALLY the fridge. It's so stinkin cute and it's my fav color too. This unique tiny home looks and feels much bigger than it's smaller size among tiny homes, but it works perfectly. I love that there is sort of a "mud room" by having the laundry right as you come in. The one thing that wasn't mentioned or I failed to see was some other way to get out in case of emergency... (Another door and/or egress windows.)? I'm also wondering how it's kept from flipping over? I used to live by the Rockies and those winds off the mountains can be pretty strong from time to time. Another thing that wasn't mentioned or I failed to catch was just where do they actually LIVE, since it was mentioned they rent this out airBnb? I would love to see how a family of five accommodates the family of five and how they function in a tiny home. I think they are doing an awesome job and I love their thoughts of creating a tiny house community. I hope someone sees my comment because I saw from other comments I am not the only person with these questions.
Nifty spiral staircase! Well thought out plan, and placement of function + form. Alexis, I am hoping you get to become that Green Thumb Goddess 🙂😂.( Great ad as you both so well.)
An idyllic life! We were blessed to work from home and raise our five children, as well. Four girls, one boy and lots of love! ❤ Finding a way to finance working from home is such a dream come true!
Beautiful! It is so homey & cozy & I'd love to stay there! Love the kitchen & the fridge is awesome! Also, love the wood detail of at the top of the railing/ bedroom. : ) The only thing that I don't think fits entirely is the curtains.... small thing to notice, but they seem to take away from the space. Maybe they're a tad too long or too thick? Not sure, but breezy, light curtains would be so nice in the space or rolling blinds. Just a thought. Other than that, this tiny home is gorgeous! : )
I like that you rent it out and you have your own separate place where you live and also work from home. Kids grow up fast and they are way more important than striving to get the next promotion. There will be plenty of curve balls long the way!
Im from Colorado great video I hope someday I too can achieve this. It's SOOOO HARD to find somewhere to park a tiny near the Denver/Aurora(foxfield, tallyn's reach) area 😭😭
I love the staircase idea and beautiful outdoor area. However, I’d personally would ask for a bigger living room with wall space for TV; move the fridge and washer with counter across the kitchen (the cabinets/counter are needed in kitchen); have a closet near the door. Love the colorful shower tile but it looks too busy with the other small subway tile and busy floor patterns; and need much cleaner and symmetrical placement of things, shelves, fan, mirror, etc. in bathroom and kitchen. I’m sure these things will improve with more experience and your nice touches will be greatly appreciated!
@Tiny House Expedition I like most of the features. The only caution is that the hanging curtain is too close to the gas stove. Fires can start so easily. I would choose some sort of blind, or nothing, in that window.
You definitely could shift a few things around in this layout to create a larger living area, and can customize the colors & tile choices per your style preferences. They have been working on improving the design & recently released the Aspen 2.0!
How did they get the mattress up there? It’s all closed in and the staircase is pretty tiny. I’m genuinely confused on how you would get large items up there??
@Alyssa Korallus If 2 nights are booked it is $240 per night x 2 = $480 + $90 cleaning fee + $80 service fee = $650. Which part of that isn't true, Alyssa?

Absolutely! Putting them in the bump-out is brilliant. 😁😊

Wow; congratulations!! Thank you for sharing your experience of full time living in this beautifully designed home! ❤️
Thank you so much Kerrin!!!! We are so excited that you are loving it as much as we have ❤❤❤❤
Been a loooong time since I've seen a tiny house feature that I've never seen before. And those stairs are a fantastic idea.
Ditto! 😄☺️

That’s great to hear! It’s amazing what a difference good design details make for making a space feel more spacious & livable 😄
Love love how much thought went into this tiny place! Stair and the skylights… cute frig 😄
It's all about those details! 💕
Absolutely beautiful and adorable. ❤️ The old-fashioned vibe in this home. Beautiful kitchen and bath areas. Thank you for sharing. Your wee ones are so precious and blessed to have you home with them.
☺️💕
Cute! Gonna need to build a 2 bedroom for the kids next! Beautiful area they're in 😊
Their property is so dreamy! 😍
I love that the stairs are tucked away! Such a smart layout. Great use of space. It's lovely!
What a wonderful blessed life y'all have made for your family. Your kids have a great advantage, having both parents at home. I love it! ❤
There is beauty everywhere you look. The surrounding area, the tiny house, and the three red heads. You are blessed.
💕
This is just awesome! What a great video of your tiny home business, Alyssa and Danny. I especially love the refrigerator 😍. ❤❤
Love you!! Thank you ❤
I love everything about this house! Great job on the decor!
Such a well thought out charming space they created! 😍
Beautiful home. I love your idea on the staircase it really does save space. Good use of space also.
Thank you!

💯agree! ☺️
That"s a really thoughtfully designed house in such a lovely area. Really worth the money because of the quality and vibe. Way to go. Good luck in all you do !!!
Beautiful tiny home! I love the staircase 😍. The girls are going to need there own loft/bedroom to sleep in.
Thanks for watching! 😊 They sleep in another cabin on the property, and Alyssa & hubby have built larger more family-size tiny houses 😁

Love that 😊 the epoxy really makes the wood grain pop
Thanks TinyHouseExpedition super stars for bringing us another really terrific tiny home. Take care !!!
You are most welcome! ☺️

Hi this is Alyssa!! We have an egress window in the loft. We are NOAH certified so you can be assured that it is built to the highest standard !
Nifty spiral staircase! Well thought out plan, and placement of function + form. Alexis, I am hoping you get to become that Green Thumb Goddess 🙂😂.( Great ad as you both so well.)
Thanks Mary! Happy to report a little improvement 😅
Nice home, seems very roomy. Nice family!
An idyllic life! We were blessed to work from home and raise our five children, as well. Four girls, one boy and lots of love! ❤ Finding a way to finance working from home is such a dream come true!
It really is-more flexibility with your work schedule means more freedom! 😊
Beautiful! It is so homey & cozy & I'd love to stay there!

Such an inviting space they created! Thicker curtains up in the mountains helps with insulation, but not sure if that’s what they did 😁
I like that you rent it out and you have your own separate place where you live and also work from home. Kids grow up fast and they are way more important than striving to get the next promotion. There will be plenty of curve balls long the way!
That’s for sure! 😅❤️
Very nice. Good job. On design. Love the use of live edge wood. And making it a business..is fantastic . Many good wishes going forward.
Thanks for sharing love Nancy! ❤️
Im from Colorado great video I hope someday I too can achieve this. It's SOOOO HARD to find somewhere to park a tiny near the Denver/Aurora(foxfield, tallyn's reach) area 😭😭
Love it and so smart on the stairs
I think a net above the spiral stairs would be a good idea.
Really great. Thanks for the tour.
☺️✨

I like the stairs placement 👍.
Definitely Charming, would be nice to have a group stay !
JO JO IN VT 💞💨❄️☃️
A group stay on their enchanting property would be fun!

I love this!
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Could you build storage in the stairs?
Best staircase idea yet. Cool place, but not 100k cool. Ouch.
It very nice I like the stairs really cool
Very pretty
Truly ✨
This is Gonna b so Good THE🔥🔥🔥👍n Happy Friday😀….
Appreciate you Whitney! 😁
Wait, so it was 100k just for the solar and you've not had it long but you're selling it? I don't think I understand what is going on here
They build tiny homes on their little homestead and rent out this one. But they plan to sell it and build another rental (it already sold actually 😁)
Ok, those stairs look deadly for little kids. Too claustrophobic for me.
To each their own! We’d much prefer these stairs to a ladder any day 🙃
They are actually pretty safe ! Our kids have been going up and down them with no issues:)
Please keep ur closed caption up. Thanks
You got it!
Airbnb prices are so depressing anymore. 2 nights at this place will cost you $650.
@Alyssa Korallus If 2 nights are booked it is $240 per night x 2 = $480 + $90 cleaning fee + $80 service fee = $650. Which part of that isn't true, Alyssa?
That’s not true and sorry you feel that way.
😮
For sale?
This one has since sold but we’d be happy to build you one!
Where do the girls sleep
Alyssa and her family actually live in a bigger cabin on the property and rent out this tiny house 😊
