What I love most about Trevor is his diversity and objectivity. His experiences have taught him humanity in ways that most of us are yet to discover.

I truly enjoyed this interview. Trevor is a great story teller while also being quite frank about the realities of being raised in South Africa. And, most of all, his Mother seems like a phenomenal person with a great sense of humor.

I really understand and feel what Trevor went through. As a so called coloured, with an abusive father and brother, I survived. I Have two wondeful kids and a job that I love, because I can help the poor and the young. Yet, like Trevor, I do not feel disadvantage. Because of my mother Grace who never alowed me to give up. I love you Trevor

How wonderful to have a mom like that, my mom was a professor and she didn’t teach me anything, in fact she treated me like I was inferior and undeserving, didn’t even buy me clothes or combed my hair before school. Didn’t protect me from abuse from my siblings, I am darker than my siblings and also the youngest. Thank goodness my best friends mom taught me everything In my early years and ironed my uniform and braided my hair with ribbons. The second best influence was my piano teacher who since age five, taught me confidence and accomplishment. My angels. I became a loving and more compassionate person which made me a better parent, after I sorted out the damage I am very happy and amazing grandma!

It''s so obvious that Trevor Noah was raised well. He's an exceptionally talented, insightful, intelligent man, with a compassion that was forged by his experiences under apartheid, and tempered by the lessons he learned from his parents and grandparents. I've been a big fan of his from Day One, and he's just goten better with time.

I constantly consider my upbringing as unpriviledged, technically bcoz I grew up from a poor background, consistently lacking in most basic things like food and clothes and worst part loosing my mom at the young age and growing up without a father, however Trevor just made me realize that I had other privileges to acknowledge beyond being poor like being able to live under a shelter and an opportunity to attend school, so basically at often times we focuse more on dark sides than brighter side in life, we have our own way to interpret or label standards in life.

Trevor Noah had the opportunity of a privileged education in elite European milieu South African boarding schools. The bedrock of his sophistication. Unfortunately virtually all South Africans of color never had this opportunity. His refined articulation is the emulation of ubiquitous associations amongst White wealthy influential refined South Africans. Not from tedious practice.

This was the most enjoyable 1hr 31mins. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the most simple daily routine in life, that of a bowel evacuation (I won't use the sh.. word) in its stages from first and second movement to the satisfaction we all have when the final push greets us with complete satisfaction.

This is pretty incredible. I can feel the strength in his voice. Side note I have only met one other person with that type of acne the pustules. I can relate to every word of that, no pictures and it being the only thing you care about. Wearing makeup all of it. Feeling like you look like a gremlin. So much he talked about that is relatable, he's a real person.

as an African I love Trevor Noah for being who he is out there, I feel that now people in the western world can see that Africans are smart and nuanced in their lives than the world chooses to portray us. Trevor is a good specimen of a big tribe of intelligent good people in Africa.

Don’t imagine that those not in the trumplestiltskin head group, imagine Africans are not smart or have anything to offer!
That was where we all came from!
      Only ignorant people, think otherwise!
Keep your head and heart up!
Don’t let anyone affect your life, by their stinking thinking!
      You are amazing!!

Trevor is an amazing storyteller. He is funny, wise, honest, empathetic, real in every way. His life experience is his strong suit and has created a deep, caring soul who is the epitome of living an examined life. Thank you for your integrity, Trevor.
