Paul and Ben, Fab Rat crew.....I thank you for helping old friend up on the mountain. This day and age there are not enough people helping the senior citizens.
All that I’ve got to say tonight is… Dang, your Dad would be so proud of what you’ve done with his truck, and who you and your family are… It truly is an inspiration..!
Paul and Ben, your fabrication creations are awesome! It doesn't matter how many times it takes to get there, you guys always figure it out. I love the 'figuring out' part. I love Michelle's made up names for parts better than the actual name. Heck, Paul does that all the time! (((LOL)))
@Fab Rats Jace and Hunter do kind of look alike a little bit I even sometimes get them confused Landon and the youngest boy look alike too but I'm sure Landon doesn't want to hear that lol but Hunter and Landon are the one's who are in the shop the most or atleast on camera the most so that is why I can't remember everyone's names except for Paul, Ben, Michelle, Hunter, Landon, and Granny atleast that's what I call her because I used to call my grandma Nana or Nanny the woman who raised me and my great grandma I called her Granny so that might be why I call her Granny 😆
@tom nielsen I also have to agree and as far as Hunter giving it back he seems to give back a little harassment to everyone except for Michelle! That especially includes grandma.
Here they come Chad! You guys did good getting all the lights put on and Ben did good making triangles. Oh Hunter is going to learn to weld too! Nice wire rack Hunter! Good job getting things put together!
I think Chad needs some kinda special award and I think the perfect time and place to present it to him is at the Tow Truck Olympics. He has wired up at least two of the rigs competing.
Chads Fab, FabRats and MORR could spoof a sketch where Chad has secretly wired remote control switches into each of their wreckers. A good natured comedy spoof sketch and a way to drop PROPS on ChadsFab. What say ye- me Pirates?????
And as others have commented Paul & Ben, and Hunter, way to go to help out your elderly neighbors. You know he looks out for you, so being neighborly is just the right thing to do. Really enjoy seeing that on your channel.
that light bar really ties the room together man. and that old dude is so damned cool, 88 years old and still cruising around the yard in the snow wrenching on stuff
I was not sure where you were going with that front end, however after seeing it put together. I do have to say that it is a butamus thing. Worthy of pushing the world's largest wrecker up hill. Very well played guys...
Love your videos. Wish I had worked in a shop as well equipped as yours is all these past 50 years. One TIP that might help: Instead of cardboard to make templates, try cereal boxes {empty of course :) }. I found over the years that they are easier to manipulate in tight areas, can be cut with a scissors and give more precise dimensions.
Love the work you’re doing! Helping people out, building tire smokers, and Michelle’s great descriptions help make this so much fun to watch. Happy to see the next generation helping out and learning too
Always entertaining videos. Thanks guys. Hunters camerawork is great … as usual. And always love those What’s That Part With Michelle. I assume Michelle is doing the editing of these videos … maybe Hunter? … anyway, it would be great to have a little segment showing that editing process … adding the special effects, clips from previous videos, etc.
Great job. The videos are awesome. I love Michele’s guess that part , very humerus. But I think it’s time for Michele to turn the table and have Paul guess things she uses in her daily life.
Great work guys! I love the build! Those big headlights on the front of the Rat Rod Wrecker look like giant rat eyes in serious mode! 🤣 They should sufficiently light up your world, but then a guy needs to be able to see what’s ahead of him!
I've noticed that although Michelle might not always know the name of the part, she generally knows what it does. And yes, you're getting better at naming them too so I'm going to say that you're gonna nail it.
I think I can speak for all of us that fab in the real world and say…. We appreciate how the mistakes don’t get edited out. There are way too many channels on here that don’t show people what really goes on in the shop. Keep up the good work guys!
Glad to see Michelle. Wondered where you'd been. Smart lady staying in the warmth. You guys are all great. Poor Ben getting flack for his triangle. Wrecker's looking good
Great episode as always guys, we always have days that just don’t flow and everything you touch turns to shit, but we always plod on and get things done, looked like Ben was having one of those days but he still turned out a great finished product as always. The front end looks great and the back looks great too, are you fitting work lights to the rear so you illuminate the back and work job too ???????? Love the look of the beanies, great to see Michelle back in the shop again but she’s always putting in her best every episode editing and making the best KZclip episodes by far. Keep up the fantastic work and stay safe.
Michelle, you are so creative with the videos! Love your humor. Paul & Ben are interesting to watch. They sure give Hunter a hard time. 🤣 You are a good helper to your Dad Landon. You guys are all awesome & Grandma too❤️
Love the KC lights across the cab! The headlights are awesome... Personally not a fan of the giant LEDs on the pre runner bar maybe it will come together but they just look out of place? Keep up the great work!
Back to the idea of mesh over the back window. Plain mesh would make it look like an old utility truck but if it were painted a bright color with a Fab Rats Logo painted over that would possibly be awesome!! You would still be able to see through it & bring that extra pop! By the way I get a Fab Rats cap if you use my idea!! lol 😊
You guys are awsome. I know Ben caught a lot of grief about his triangle but it'll be worth it if you have issues like I did. I love that you guys actually take the time to read your viewers emails. I had some issues with my winch running away and wrote an email suggesting that they install a E-stop. Thank you Ben for taking the time to do it! It could potentially save you from a pretty bad situation. Love the show keep it up!
Hunter’s impersonation of Paul was spot on. He needs to take advantage of all the tools and machinery in there and learn how to do it. Thanks for sharing!
@07:03 You'll get close there, but if you loosen up and put the rounded ends together, you can get an exact inside corner (in one go). (because of the roundness, the weld doesn't interfere)
Morning Fab RATS Family!! The wrecker is looking soooooo good!!! 👀 Y'all have built something Sherm is certainly proud of!! (I know he and David are there with you boys guiding your hands and grinning from ear to ear!!!) 4° here this morning (brrrrr!) Snowed again yesterday and last night... (I'm with you, Michelle, I DON'T LIKE BEING COLD!! but not a darn thing I can do about it and the critters still have to be fed & watered!! !LOL!) It's too bad more folks don't follow your lead and help out their neighbors (especially those with so many years of wisdom under their belt!!) Safe travels friends ❤️❤️ Stay FROSTY... If we could get everyone in the country to drop what they are doing to help their neighbors like the Fab Rats family does the world would be an awesome place. 😊
You need a couple of kc's and adjustable spot lights (police style) facing the back so that you can see when you are backing up and working on everything. I think you got the front covered pretty good with what you got.
I love all the banter . . . "Why do you doubt me all the time Hunter"? . . . "that worked better than I anticipated". Hunter has seen all the successes and the screw-ups so he's never going to doubt that either one could happen. LOL
Always love watching you guys work, makes my day seeing brothers working together! Hunter should do some more welding and little side projects!! Have a great day!
Another Great Video and Content Great Fab Work on all of your tow truck build, Hunter has been doing great 👍content, It's Great to see your Team helping neighbors when they are in need Have a Great Day 👍 God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
The FJ is coming along great front end looks awesome Paul & Ben are a great team no matter the hazing from Hunter & Landon, nice to see Michelle in the shop with her motor rever upper lol that term works for me, can't wait to see wreaker all lit up & everything working great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Ben has two more triangles to make, to properly triangulate/ gusset that stinger on the front bumper. I’m liking the way this is all coming together 👍🏻
Motor revver is awsome Michelle. You could tell Paul was having an off day. He called the hood latches, hinges about 3 times. Paul when you cut the fender use the laser. It will save you hair. Great video guy's.
I don’t think you’ll have to worry about Matt in the Wrecker Olympics. He is re-inventing the wheel and that can come with a lot of problems. I do think you have to worry about Rory. That dude not only has a tried and proven machine..he has been driving that machine long enough that he and mater are one. Lol
@Liam Terry you know nothing about me or my experience. I as well as others made a statement. You make it personal. I run a successful major business for over 40 years, with many employees and locations both foreign and domestic. I have dealt with civil wars, failing economies, had to evacuate my employees at a moments notice, as well all the other logistical problems. And I’m not using an iPhone.
@Ben Jurqunov Matt is from Matt's Off Road Recovery KZclip channel (MORR) in Hurricane, UT; Rory is Rory Irish from Trail Mater KZclip channel in Moab, UT.
@Alex Duke I’m kind of excited to See what Matt’s will do. That is a sweet machine. I’ve wondered if they will be fight wheelies setting that engine back as far as they did.
Hunters impression of Paul almost spot on! The front end looks like some Robot from lost in space that aliens built! Pretty cool looking I have to say! The Rat Rod Wrecker is really coming along, and I have no doubt it will do what you need it to do in your recoveries! I hope it does well in the Tow Truck Olympics and you come out with the win! Til next time take care and stay safe...
Paul, I have a nickname for your wrecker: Minion. Cool wrecker Paul, Ben, Hunter and and all the team working on it. Can not wait until March to see all wreckers together.
The hinged roof light bar looks awesome, but it will come out of alignment often. I can think of 2 easy ways to make them fixed: Drill holes in the end plates for different rotational settings (flat level, 5 deg down, 20 deg down) and then lock them in position with bolts. You could also (a foot from each end) weld a hinge to the bottom of the light bar, attach the threaded portion of a 2" long, 3/8" or 1/2" bolt to it, and then have the thread pass through a hinged plate attached to the lower hood crossbar. Double nut around the plate.
Paul and Ben, Fab Rat crew.....I thank you for helping old friend up on the mountain. This day and age there are not enough people helping the senior citizens.
Absolutely dissagree. Got it first hand.
Absolutely dissagree. Got it first hand.
@roncarguy72 88Mph you mean your old enough to travel anywhere you want! Sorry back to the future reference….
You know what happens when you hit 88? Now your gonna see some serious STUFF.
88 years young. Live well Good Sir! Praise Paul and Ben for helping a legend.
All that I’ve got to say tonight is… Dang, your Dad would be so proud of what you’ve done with his truck, and who you and your family are… It truly is an inspiration..!
Michelle is AWESOME at naming the parts! Love those segments, she's so fun!
@Steve Fair motor rev is acceptable
Motor rev
Ben and Hunter have been great additions to the channel.
Paul and Ben, your fabrication creations are awesome! It doesn't matter how many times it takes to get there, you guys always figure it out. I love the 'figuring out' part.
I love Michelle's made up names for parts better than the actual name. Heck, Paul does that all the time! (((LOL)))
I know where to go to get my next triangle, Ben does them in 2 sizes, the 1 you want and the 1 you don't want.
Hunter's eye roll after Paul's comment, "It a bit tougher than holding the flashlight". was classic!
That was actually, Jace, his son.😉
Hunters impersonation of Paul is 100% PERFECT. Had me laughing so hard I had to pause and get the stitch out of my side!!!
@tom nielsen I also have to agree and as far as Hunter giving it back he seems to give back a little harassment to everyone except for Michelle! That especially includes grandma.
I have to agree with that. Hunter is giving it back.
Ratrodwrecker is looking better all the time!!! You guys are doing a mighty fine job!!!
The crew at Fab Rat is amazing. It’s fun to watch the work. Their knowledge and skills are incredible. Thanks for all you do.
Always enjoy the name that part with Michelle! They are especially good when she astonishes everyone by knowing one of the more obscure part names.
Great job so glad you still help us older people
Here they come Chad! You guys did good getting all the lights put on and Ben did good making triangles. Oh Hunter is going to learn to weld too! Nice wire rack Hunter! Good job getting things put together!
2nd stamp on his Man Card earned.1st was being able to hold onto the camera while taking the wild rides.
I think Chad needs some kinda special award and I think the perfect time and place to present it to him is at the Tow Truck Olympics. He has wired up at least two of the rigs competing.
He definitely deserves recognition for him and his son's expert wiring
Chads Fab, FabRats and MORR could spoof a sketch where Chad has secretly wired remote control switches into each of their wreckers. A good natured comedy spoof sketch and a way to drop PROPS on ChadsFab. What say ye- me Pirates?????
Chad is in a league of his own. The ability to just know everything there is to know about automotive electrical and computers. Amazing guy.
Truth!!
What great human experience this is for the younger generation needs to learn. What a great neighbors you are
I was not sure where you were going with that front end, however after seeing it put together.
I just friggin love that Hunter is constantly giving the old guys the run for their money - he's holding up just fine in the shop... 😁😇🤟
And he looks like a young Paul he could pass as a Paul Jr.
He's getting the best education in the world. Learning how to be a he/him MAN!
It's a process. He was pretty quiet at first but Paul and everyone has made him feel like part of the family. :)
Michelle gets an A for effort. I also dig the old school KC lights.
Love the work you’re doing! Helping people out, building tire smokers, and Michelle’s great descriptions help make this so much fun to watch. Happy to see the next generation helping out and learning too
Paul and Ben are so talented, it's a pleasure to watch them work.
Love that you guys are taking care of your old neighbor.
Michelle and her cousin do all of the fabrats editing
I can say truly, helping out your nabors when you can is the best thing to see in this day and age. Good on you guys
You know its gonna be good when the cardboard aided drafting starts within the first minute. Loved Paul's "Doubting Thomas" reference as well.
I've noticed that although Michelle might not always know the name of the part, she generally knows what it does. And yes, you're getting better at naming them too so I'm going to say that you're gonna nail it.
Hunter really makes the videos fun! They all seem like they enjoy each others company.
Hunter will have his own channel in a few years watching Paul and Ben
I think I can speak for all of us that fab in the real world and say…. We appreciate how the mistakes don’t get edited out. There are way too many channels on here that don’t show people what really goes on in the shop. Keep up the good work guys!
Glad to see Michelle. Wondered where you'd been. Smart lady staying in the warmth. You guys are all great. Poor Ben getting flack for his triangle. Wrecker's looking good

Love the look of the beanies, great to see Michelle back in the shop again but she’s always putting in her best every episode editing and making the best KZclip episodes by far. Keep up the fantastic work and stay safe.
Great to see Michelle and her silliness back on this video. Always makes the videos so great! Michelle is the best!!
Michelle, you are so creative with the videos! Love your humor. Paul & Ben are interesting to watch. They sure give Hunter a hard time. 🤣 You are a good helper to your Dad Landon. You guys are all awesome & Grandma too❤️
All the drivers should dress up like Matt. Rory did it and Matt was flabbergasted, so funny
@Marklar 75 Robby was the best Matt for sure!
@Gnodle Dale it would take me a year to even get close to Ben's or Matt's beard. Only in length, as mine never grows in full.
Matt helped a lot on that one, LoL.
Borrow Robby's fake beard 👽
Still time to stop shaving 😂
Love the KC lights across the cab! The headlights are awesome... Personally not a fan of the giant LEDs on the pre runner bar maybe it will come together but they just look out of place? Keep up the great work!
Looking beautiful, going to be tough. Has it got it's weight up to 8350lbs yet? Love all you guys do, great job with the channel. Y'all Rock.
Really excited about this build. You guys are so entertaining to watch.
I don't care if Michelle actually knows what that parts are and she is sand bagging us, but I love it
Great to see Michele, Love her "motor revy thing" . Hunter is really starting fit into his roll there with you guys.
I love how grandma lolly is always in the background taking care of her boys
it looks absolutely amazing! the fab rats crew has done it yet again! keep up the awesome content yall.
Have my tickets for the competition! Looking forward to watching these builds in action.
Dad's truck is looking GREAT! You made him proud! :) Thanks for taking me over the bumps.
Back to the idea of mesh over the back window. You would still be able to see through it & bring that extra pop! By the way I get a Fab Rats cap if you use my idea!! lol 😊
Matt may have the biggest wrecker but Paul has the coolest looking one hands down
@Jack man 100% agreed
Hmm, the upgraded Rat Rod Wrecker maybe has all the expensive new bling, but for me Trailmater is cryogenically cool.
@jeff m I cant wait to see this one. If it's a great success I'm sure it will happen again.
@The Blue Bike & Doyle LOL (Re: the horn)
@Mark W. I would love to see the wrecker games become an annual thing
You are doing a fantastic job building the wrecker. Can't wait to see it in operation.
paul and ben keep up the great work always enjoy watching
You guys are awsome. I know Ben caught a lot of grief about his triangle but it'll be worth it if you have issues like I did. I love that you guys actually take the time to read your viewers emails. I had some issues with my winch running away and wrote an email suggesting that they install a E-stop. Thank you Ben for taking the time to do it! It could potentially save you from a pretty bad situation. Love the show keep it up!
Some great progress. The front end looks fantastic.
The amount of skilled welding in this shop is astounding
Hunter’s impersonation of Paul was spot on. He needs to take advantage of all the tools and machinery in there and learn how to do it. Thanks for sharing!
The front end came out sweet guys !!! Great job 👏🏼 ps. Ben’s triangle 📐 came out nice also 😂
It's getting closer every time can't wait to see this 1 done it's gonna be awesome
@07:03 You'll get close there, but if you loosen up and put the rounded ends together, you can get an exact inside corner (in one go). (because of the roundness, the weld doesn't interfere)
love the "Motor Rever'' perfect! Love what you guys do, thanks for all of the great family-friendly content.
Every kid on the planet has experienced the “fun and joy” of holding the flashlight (or something) for their dad. Jase’s face said it all.
@Hvac Man Goodman Oh yeah.....heard that statement, or something very similar, many times. 😁🤣😂
@Garret Lewis hold the light where I can see not where you can see. L O L.😂😎🤙🤙
@RollinRat 😀😀😂😂. Yes, those of us who held the light know.
@Fleet of WJs 😀😀😀👍. BTW…..where are you holding that light? 🤪
Haha, my dad taught me lots of 'new words' while I was holding the light for him!
Paul & Ben your wrecker is really looking Awesome . I can't wait to you all get it on the road and put it to work. Great video Hunter.
front end is looking pretty darn sweet if i do say so. loving theselection of lights too. great job guys, thanks for sharing
Love the look on Ben's face as Paul says, "Ben bent some more Triangles" 28:50
Great job on the front end. Function, form and a little menacing looking tenacity.
Dayum!!! Watching the Dad & Lad working side by side leads one to wonder if any of Momma's DNA got through at all!😉😉😉.
Paul & Ben such great guys helping out the 88 yrs old friend with his truck. You guys rock. Hunter super camera work.
That guy said it all, "Sit down and it's all over"
You know what they say, Paul-imitation is the most sincere form of flattery! He is paying attention!🤣🤣🤣
Hunter, you nailed it!🤣🤣🤣
congrats on the 500k subs, you fully deserve all your success
Morning Fab RATS Family!!
The wrecker is looking soooooo good!!! 👀
Y'all have built something Sherm is certainly proud of!!
(I know he and David are there with you boys guiding your hands and grinning from ear to ear!!!)
4° here this morning (brrrrr!) Snowed again yesterday and last night...
(I'm with you, Michelle, I DON'T LIKE BEING COLD!! but not a darn thing I can do about it and the critters still have to be fed & watered!! !LOL!)
Love seeing how the entire family takes time to help in the shop❣️❣️
(the kids are growing like weeds!!)
It's too bad more folks don't follow your lead and help out their neighbors (especially those with so many years of wisdom under their belt!!)
Safe travels friends ❤️❤️

If we could get everyone in the country to drop what they are doing to help their neighbors like the Fab Rats family does the world would be an awesome place. 😊
You need a couple of kc's and adjustable spot lights (police style) facing the back so that you can see when you are backing up and working on everything. I think you got the front covered pretty good with what you got.
I love all the banter . . . "Why do you doubt me all the time Hunter"? . . . "that worked better than I anticipated". Hunter has seen all the successes and the screw-ups so he's never going to doubt that either one could happen. LOL
Your fabs are truly impressive!
We cant wait to see the build on Michelle's Jeepster .....tow-truck looks sweet Paul and Ben...simply outstanding
Glad to see Michelle back. Wrecker is coming together nicely.
Ben is an amazing guy, but I do miss Randell and Michelle, I hope all is well for them both.
Starting to look pretty good, and it was nice to see Michelle come out of the house
Always love watching you guys work, makes my day seeing brothers working together! Hunter should do some more welding and little side projects!! Have a great day!
The front of the wrecker looks sweet, it all tide in together perfectly.
Love the front end look. Good job!
Another Great Video and Content
Great Fab Work on all of your tow truck build, Hunter has been doing great 👍content,
It's Great to see your Team helping neighbors when they are in need
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
The FJ is coming along great front end looks awesome Paul & Ben are a great team no matter the hazing from Hunter & Landon, nice to see Michelle in the shop with her motor rever upper lol that term works for me, can't wait to see wreaker all lit up & everything working great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Crap I just realised I mentioned FJ when it's the rat rod wreaker lol 😆
Had been missing Michelle, glad to see her back. Nice to see another episode of " What's that part with Michelle".
Let’s get these wreckers done!!!! So excited to see this monster on a trail.
Ben has two more triangles to make, to properly triangulate/ gusset that stinger on the front bumper. I’m liking the way this is all coming together 👍🏻
your truck looks freaking amazing!
Did you forget to put side and rear facing lights? Gonna be pretty dark back there. Love how it’s looking. One of a kind!
Motor revver is awsome Michelle. You could tell Paul was having an off day. He called the hood latches, hinges about 3 times. Paul when you cut the fender use the laser. It will save you hair. Great video guy's.
Approaching the 500 K subscribers! Thanks for the great channel appropriate for the whole family to watch.
Lol

@Alex Duke I’m kind of excited to See what Matt’s will do. That is a sweet machine. I’ve wondered if they will be fight wheelies setting that engine back as far as they did.
@Dan Russell yet he always gets the job done.
Looking forward to seeing it in action... love the square body
Ben don't forget to make 2 of those triangles to match (Bracket for dead switch) lol Love the KC on the front :)
that "motor-revver" drove the tears in my eyes because i had to laugh so hard.. keep up the good stuff
Don't forget the "Rock Lights" before Chad gets it. Might want some load lights to work by also.
The front grille area is looking great, love that you kept the double square head lights. It's got a unique look with the boat tail 👍
Michelle was SO close on the throttle body! You should tell her it's the fuel hoondigger.
Nice of you two to take care of the gentleman's pickup. Nice to see Michelle and the name that part segment.
That thing is gonna be so awesome when it's done! I hardly can't wait lol I love lights the more the better imo lol
