NITRO was ranked as high as #3 for 6 straight years from 2007-2013 on the GTA list of top 50 steel coasters. It is a great ride and even better at night with a classic out and back layout by the lake! NITRO was built April 7, 2001. 20 years later NITRO is still elite and one of my favorite coasters.
I've always loved Nitro. That helix is intense, really took me by surprise the first time I rode it. Six Flags REALLY needs to give this ride some love though and repaint it along with refurbishing the trains.
One of the best. This was the very first REAL coaster my mother and father decided to have me experience when I was young too. Cant ever forget it. Its also just one of those very satisfying rides that makes itself well worth the wait, fastpass or not, because of how long it is.
What a gorgeous day it was for you guys. Still hoping for an Airtime filled Hyper on The West Coaster. With Goldstriker closing in the future, I guess Twisted Colossus and Ghostrider are all we'll have left.
I love Nitro! It's a fairly unique hyper and one that I love about the same in both the front and the back. Great video and I love your reactions as always! Keep 'em coming.
Visited Great Adventure last week. Nitro was the best time I had while there. It's not the highest or the fastest, but it was the most fun by a long shot.
One of my favorites. And also my home park in NJ. That helix can scramble your head if you're not prepared for it, ha. I'm waiting until Fright Fest to visit this year (2022). If nobody has ever been to it in October, don't miss it!
@Brittany Disney and South Park Fan Davis if you want to go on a roller coaster that's extremely smooth and not bone jarring, nitro is definitely the one to try. It's my favorite co-star now it's my ten-year-old daughter's favorite coaster as of last summer. She doesn't like things that flip her upside down
@Coasterdude02149 I guess it's depending on who's doing the calling. I went on them both a week apart with my 10-year-old daughter as we did some coaster hopping this summer and also did Hershey Park and therefore kandemonium which would be the equivalent there. I can only tell you nitro is well designed enough that despite its height and speed and angle of descent, it really doesn't yank you around at all, and I'm becoming more sensitive to that as I get older but this felt just as good to me as it did the last time I rode it which is 20 years ago. By comparison, I can't handle rides that spin you too much because I have nauseous for hours even if it's a simple Ride like the scrambler. The nitro? I could do that all day long and literally close my eyes and almost fall asleep.
Used to work at Great Adventure. Team lead at the runaway mine train and Rolling thunder. Unit supervisor at Dark Knight. Also worked at Batman, Kingda Ka, and El Toro. Great park and had a blast working there. Never worked Nitro but always wanted to!
I wish we just had one decent steel coaster in the UK. You guys are so lucky. I’ll be taking the family to Florida in 2024 so we will deffo be hitting Busch Gardens, sea world, and universal. Last time I was there was 2007. Can’t wait.
Hey guys, I'm a big fan of your videos. I got a little question. Have you ever been to theme parks in Belgium? If not, there is one I can recommand. Let me know.
Got to say I love your videos and always have you have to do one thing go to Six Flags New England and ride every coaster there and put it in one video that is my home park and I didn’t get to go this much this year at all and no one really post new videos about the park so if you could do that for me and make it feel like I was there this year I would love that lol
Nitro was built in 2001 right? Cause I remember it was the tallest roller coaster in the east coast until kingda ka was built i think. Nitro is also 230 feet with the speed of maybe 80 miles an hour?
@Theme Park Review Rob were you actually there 5 days ago, or was that just when KZclip said it was last uploaded because I feel like I've seen this video way further back than that? I was just at Great adventure 2 days ago so if you were there sorry we missed you because we're big fans. And I took my 10-year-old daughter on this ride which was an old favorite of mine from 20 years ago and we rode it five times since there were no lines and almost fell asleep it was so chill. We were just in Busch gardens one week ago and did Apollo's Chariot and Griffin, and we were also at Hershey Park a month ago and did candy monium, and this was by far the chillest of the b&m hypers. Didn't even scream on the first drop, can almost take a nap but I'm saying that in a good way. By contrast, my daughter wrote El Toro and both she and five other people two days ago said it was incredibly rough which seems contradictory to most reviews including yours so I'm not sure if it's changed for the worst but my seat had a bad sensor so I wasn't able to ride. Guess I dodge that bullet
@Theme Park Review great! Cant wait Till you Show your rewiew of my best Park. Did you know Tim Burton felt in Love with the Park because of the Details?
Can someone please tell me how to get over my fear of roller coasters, I'm petrified that I'm either going to puke my guts up, or heart attack and die, I live in the UK and they have some crazy coasters here and iv watched loads of POV videos but the fear is very much there....someone help me plz Steve
Dang it Rob! Now I'm hungry too! 🤣

They are, with a retheme
I love this ride so much it’s pretty intense and that first drop had my stomach drop
One of the best. This was the very first REAL coaster my mother and father decided to have me experience when I was young too. Cant ever forget it. Its also just one of those very satisfying rides that makes itself well worth the wait, fastpass or not, because of how long it is.

This ride is a gem! Such an awesome and graceful hyper. I always make sure I get at least one ride on this when I go to SFGAdv
One of my all time favorite rides. NITRO ROCKS!!!! 🎢🎢🎢
It’s amazing how steady you can hold the camera
Wow, I was there friday and rode it in the front 4 times! It’s an awesome ride! :)
@Andres Santos Agreed!
It's a good ride, not better than El Toro I can guarantee you that
@Yeet I’m going saturday with some friends to ride it again too
I’m getting there this weekend and riding on Saturday and sunday
@ThatAmtrakFan9077 Nice man! :)
I love Nitro! It's a fairly unique hyper and one that I love about the same in both the front and the back.
Great video and I love your reactions as always! Keep 'em coming.
Absolutely love this coaster. I rode it in the front on the very end but I only got to it once when I went
You know it's awesome when Rob says weeeee!! Love it!🤣
It was my first hyper. I've always loved Nitro. A great ride
I’ve always wanted to go on this ride it looks sick
For years I would watch your ride videos from work !! And wished to take one of those tours!! Keep up the vlogs!!
This was my first 200+ foot ride and the best one Iv'e been on so far
I just rode this ride twice today. So much fun. How did you record it tho? I would have dropped my phone 🤭🥴
Visited Great Adventure last week. Nitro was the best time I had while there. It's not the highest or the fastest, but it was the most fun by a long shot.

I feel old knowing that nitro is old enough to drink this year
Really enjoyed your video! Looks like y'all have fun everytime.
love it how other coaster enthusiasts obviously take each others catch phrases 🙄
Fun Fact: Nitro is the first B&M roller coaster to use their magnetic braking system
This is the one I always go on first at the park when I go!
lots of air time, a helix, and it's fast (now I want a pbj 🥪, too!) 💜
This ride isn’t even intense, I like it for the fact that it’s just a chill ride through the forest
@Brittany Disney and South Park Fan Davis if you want to go on a roller coaster that's extremely smooth and not bone jarring, nitro is definitely the one to try. I think I would have to ride this to get over my fear of roller coasters. I’m not going on Kingda Ka, though. That is NOT on my bucket list.
@Fé de Cristo Rey yeah but that drop could make my lungs explode I have a sensitive stomach
The drop is the only intense part and it is not that intense so yeah, ur riht
@Coasterdude02149 I guess it's depending on who's doing the calling. Dude has the best reactions to rollercoasters
I wish we just had one decent steel coaster in the UK. You guys are so lucky.
I’ll be taking the family to Florida in 2024 so we will deffo be hitting Busch Gardens, sea world, and universal. Last time I was there was 2007. Can’t wait.
Honestly, I would skip Busch Gardens and hit Cedar Point instead. FAR better coasters.
Love Nitro also!!! I call that my adrenaline rush coaster
Hey guys, I'm a big fan of your videos. I got a little question. Have you ever been to theme parks in Belgium? If not, there is one I can recommand. Let me know.
Nitro is a very good hyper. I think its underrated.
this was the first big roller coaster i went on and let me tell you, it took away my fear of big roller coasters
@Sebastian Lopez how is the drop, is it scary?
me too!
I was just at this park the other day. This was my second favorite coaster there.
my favorite coaster, rode it 3 times in a single day
Still uploading after another 12 years. Nice job!
Love this Coaster. When I got to the Park I would get to Nitro first thing!!! What a way to Wake Up in the Morning!!!I have to eat Magic Spoon.
Nitro has gotta the smoothest ride in GA.
On the list of best jobs in the world... this has to be near the top
Oh, looks it so fun.. 😍😍😍
When i went for camp, they closed it for weeks, but ive been before, one of my favorites
Nice footage Robb and Aly, but you're a bolt-on filmer dude! Hand held is so general public! 🤣
Sometimes you just gotta do what the park will allow us to!
Got to say I love your videos and always have you have to do one thing go to Six Flags New England and ride every coaster there and put it in one video that is my home park and I didn’t get to go this much this year at all and no one really post new videos about the park so if you could do that for me and make it feel like I was there this year I would love that lol
Seems about right for a Snickers roller coaster. Also, cereal.
Awesome, Rob!
I’m so sad it was closed for my visit in July. I live on the west coast so it’s not very often I find myself in New Jersey 😞
I was there on August 17th. Saw a deer running near the tracks at the drop at 1:24.
Bro I watched so many videos on how to not have a belly drop on roller coasters before going on this ride XD
Seemed a bit relaxed for a so called legendary coaster to me
Is this the same track as Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain?
SO FUN LET'S RIDE NITRO ROLLER COASTER - AT SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE FRONT SEAT !!!!
It's a good coaster sure, but El Toro, El Toro is just top notch
i went on this i was crying when we were going up i was so scared untill the drop happend i was having fun
Nitro was built in 2001 right? Cause I remember it was the tallest roller coaster in the east coast until kingda ka was built i think. Nitro is also 230 feet with the speed of maybe 80 miles an hour?
Yes you got the info correct
I was at six flags last month. I rode this! I personally like kingda ka better.
How did you film this? I got kicked out for having a walkie talkie strapped to my chest lol. Another person got booted with me who had a go pro.

We work with the PR and safety departments at the park and have special filming permission.
いつも楽しみにしてます(^-^)👍
I love seeing coasters I actually know
It would be great if you could go to moive world in australia agian! As you could update the videos form 11 ir 12 years ago!
Crossing fingers for next year!
Nitro is very fun!
Yeah?
Taling about being hungry. I watch this rigt before dinner and my timmy is grumbling. Mussels with french fries here I come.
Hey look it’s the best B&M hyper (at least that’s what Sarah from Coaster studios thinks of it)
Nitro was built on November 7th 2001 by the way i love your channel
Ace Rollercoaster!
Is it me or is it the exact or at least similar roller coaster than the Silver Star in Europa Park?
I’m making a list of all of my favorite/the biggest coaster KZcliprs current credit counts, so can you let me know what yours is?
How about a peanut butter sandwich with Count Chocula cereal sprinkled into it. 😋😋😋😋😋
What's the fastest ride at this park.
Take me to six flags uncle TPR 🥺
Frabjous Video.
Love from India.
This was shot around 2021!

@Theme Park Review great! Cant wait Till you Show your rewiew of my best Park. Did you know Tim Burton felt in Love with the Park because of the Details?
We were there last month!
I have a question for you. how many coasters have you ridden?
I mean you theme park review.
@Theme Park Review oh okay, haha
I don't actually count coasters! I'm here for the fun, not the math! 😂
L4keless Shorts haha
Peanut butter with some chocolate spread!
“Bunny hills 😁 bunny hills 😆 bunny hills 😘”
Why not have both. Peanut butter sandwich and cereal.
Put breakfast cereal on your peanut butter sandwich.
Can someone please tell me how to get over my fear of roller coasters, I'm petrified that I'm either going to puke my guts up, or heart attack and die, I live in the UK and they have some crazy coasters here and iv watched loads of POV videos but the fear is very much there....someone help me plz
Steve
Just get on it, I had a fear of them before I went on nitro, it was scary in the first part but it became fun.
Honestly Rob Count Chocula cereal
I swear if they retheme it to golaith there be scorched earth
Peanut butter sandwich!
Can you go to cedar point in your next video?
@Theme Park Review oh ok
Cedar Point does not allow Onride filming, so no. Sorry. We do have some past videos on our channel from Cedar Point though if you search for them.

Why comprise?? Peanutbutter, infused with Count Chocula!!
First every hyper I've rode
:O
Peanut butter sandwich
Mee too bro
What are you saying the ride is too loud
I love roller coaster ride videos, but can't stand when they talk through the whole thing and make dumb noises. Takes you completely out of it.
