Rushing in to help downed teammates is a bad habit I've developed over time, and unfortunately it became a problem because of how quickly people tend to dc when solo-queueing in pubs. I grew accustomed to the ticking clock of how long teammates were willing to wait to be rev'd, and the result was instinctively bolting to their position in hopes of getting to them before they rage-quit. Just another sore point of solo-queueing.
@Noah Richard I was saving ranked for when I felt like I knew how to play the game but I know the pressure you're talking about very well. Best of luck, especially w/ enjoying playing!
@stickyfox The ability to craft banners may as well not exist. People in pubs do not give a shit, lol. I don't think I've played a single game where a teammate got the chance to use it. I'm honest to God considering switching to ranked permanently just in the hopes of getting even moderately better teammates.
My problem seems to be people quitting the game when I turn around to craft their banner in safety. Even if I ping a nearby replicator and/or say "please don't dc while I'm respawning you"
@Brian Potter I see an issue happening when decent players are stuck watching horrible teammates leave the area, and the bodies/boxes, behind. Why should those people incur penalties for leaving a bad game instead of having to sit and wait to be timed out?
@RoomiestChalice lol I ran into a death box once where someone was carrying 32 shield cells. I think my trio took maybe 8 total between us to top off from the fight.
You forgot the best tip, " Use the charge rifle as many matches as possible". Also, knowing your mistakes isn't enough. I've watched my gameplay and know what I did wrong, but I don't usually remember to not repeat it.
Took me a month to get used to changing bats to cells vice versus and all the different ammo types. May I also say I called the devotion the devolution for the entirety of season 2! I also thought that just holding an ultimate accelerant in your bag would just speed up the ult cool down 😂 finding all this stuff out in season three made me feel like such a noob. 😂
Glad you mentioned DPI, it's definitely something people are still missing on, they ask other players about their sensitivity, but most don't mention what DPI they are on, wich is a huge factor even if its slightly different...
good tips, sadly number 3 tip past season and this one became most important to me, 95% of randoms cant break up from formations and going to loot same path as your when you jumpmaster, i got really tired of this and now i very rarely stay at jumpmaster. also with new ring changes i go for 4 medkits now, even if i dont need this much, most likely my teamates going to be need it randoms or premade doesnt matter
I think the biggest tip I would give is to turn on auto-sprint and then put slides to L3 or left joystick now you can do stuff like hipfire and crouch without bending your finger 360 degrees to press Circe or B (Fair warning this does change Zooming in to Circle/B)
Name area drops are good but what I discovered was sometimes the no-name low areas are a better option if you plan on actually raising ranks. Sure if you are confident in winning a 1-1 getting 5000+ damage and 16 kills, then sure, go for it but I’m assuming most people aren’t that. Yeah it might be boring but being safe and knowing when to bail and just sit back is the only way to actually raise your rank in a reasonable predictable way.
Another VERY important setting change is getting thrown out of loot boxes and crafter when getting damaged. You literally can't loot when you're in zone and it's still activated which could kill you
Great tips. Wish people listened and understood this is a team game and its about working as a team. Yeah its cool to drop big kill games and it feeds that ego but i cant tell you how many toxic not so smart people on ranked recently that are landing in ridiculous spots next to another team and not with their team only to get jumped on by a team and then immediately cut the mic on to yell some pathetic toxic stuff.... Im so tired of hearing these idiots yell stuff on the mic.... Grown men sounding like absolute pathetic complaining crybabies. Just wish people would understand they arnt the john wick of apex no matter how bad you want to believe it. Play with your team and stop thinking you can drop a 20 kill game.... Every. Single. Game its not realistic...... Aint nobody posting their failures so people see these games where streamers drop big kill games with high damage and dont show that it took 50 games of failure before they got that 1-2 good games.
all true . and also ppl forget that after 5 or 6 really bad matches , the game's matchmaking system puts you in bot lobbies and that's where generally those magical games happens .
Is there a chance you could make a hierarchy video on the legends that benefit the most from a gold helmet (from a teamwork aspect) so it’s easier to conceptualize who to give it to on the team?
I agree with the helment, but now it's better to give it to the better player of the group. One can give it to the blood hound but if he's not to skilled and gets killed it's a huge waste because now the enemies has the helment.
Thanks, watched this 3 months ago, and I would get 0 kills every game, my teammates would carry me. But now, I average 11, 12 kills a game. Thx for this❤
I have 6000 hours on apex and this is helpful for everyone starting out 👌 would have been great if I saw it before the 6000 hours I put in. Would have saved me time figuring out myself all these years 👌
11:16 ping opacity needs to be changed so when you ADS your pings dont fill your screen very helpful when teamates ping an enemy right in front of you while knocked, allowing you to see him not the ping.
The one that always gets me is when a team mate name is directly behind the enemy. Suddenly I'm being shot by my team mate. Basically dead before I realise whats actually happening.
i love tip 5 because as a mirage player its easier to fool people who would know where someone would go rather then someone who just shoots any and all clones. less random chance
"shoot the one running in the most likely direction..." well you can use that against players as well. i ulted as mirage once and kept running into a wall next to 2 enemies which probably thought something like "this one is surely a fake" as they started firing at clones i turned around and got em both. fun moment ;)
Actually, heros do move at different speeds. Smaller legends need to move the same distance as bigger ones, so they have to be faster to keep up. You can see it in the walk cycles.
3:52 doesnt work if they use a white or blue skin. unsure if its a bug or intended. The higher grade skins make his arms visible during the animation. IF you were using a white/blue quality skin you would be completely invisible unless you take damage during the animation.
I’m not a mirage main, but whenever I use my Ultimate, I purposely don’t move to the most advantageous spot if I have enough leeway as to not make my real self obvious, and to directly counter the tip given at 3:45 it’s a great tip, but unless I’m in a desperate situation, you won’t find me 😎
You should always have at least 1 nade especially w blue backpack +, a time where enemies try to res will come and having a nade can make the difference
Really great tips. Any recommendations when playing it on a laptop screen. I have observed that my performance is much better on a monitor vs a laptop screen, I have an FOV of 110 on the monitor but have to keep it 90 on my Laptop otherwise it becomes very had to see anything on the small screen.
Just the way that I play but I prioritize teammates over most other things. I HATE when teammates ignore when I'm downed to loot or run away. Teams are your best chance at survival. Dropping on the other side of the map dooms both you and us
I can't understand the lack of careful backpack storage. Do ppl just pick up things and not check what they have? Carrying an incomplete set of ammo would just annoy me lol but this is sp key because u can easily run out off ammo or heals when u need it the most. Great tips 👌
I remember discovering the difference FOV makes in *every aspect of the game.* Then showing that to my friends. That was when we broke out of Platinum. Good times. I miss having internet capable of supporting multiplayer...
only thing about health if you’re a revenant main his hit box is chunky so i always carry a little extra shields and medkits and i usually just drop a grenade since revenant has the silence ability
Best tip, pick wraith, queue trios with fill, if you're not jump master ping a spot and launch there solo and when you die after a few seconds leave and abandon your team mates.
3:43 this is important when fighting against a mirage that is better than you, I ended up kicking the right mirage trying to hit me we were both one hit.
The one thing I hate more than anything is when a teammate gets downed in a hot zone. Like enemies all around or they are out in the open in a bad spot. And they start ping spamming To Revive them. I am assessing the situation on how to Best get to u and revive you with Enemies in the area. Or im in a fight of my own. But they keep spamming. You think after a few times they would stop. Because 9 time out of 10, if you just say screw it and Revive their selfish asses you end up getting killed. almost every time I got annoyed and just wanted the dude to stop I would cave and Do exactly what he wants. Then we die. So many times. Now what bro? Now if they start doing that I leave em. Nothing wrong with pinging info. But 30 pings back to back. Nope
Thanks man I been playing the game with my homie for about 4 months we both on silver now and like dude we trying to get better but finding a 3rd is nerve breaking and he plays on pc while me on his Xbox and tbh bro is unfair for me but I wanna know what kind of controller sensitivity should I mess with I believe I have everything on medium and six when people go around me I am a monster with pistols but not with anything else I suck at aiming . 😅help
when a teammate goes down i feel so much pressure because they keep pinging the enemy and are like "He's one shot" like okay so am I lol. I cant even heal in peace
I wish I’d known that no matter how much I try to fix it, the distributed nature of the game (and perhaps the servers I default on) means about half my bullets don’t register when I hit an enemy. Can’t count the times I get the drop on someone only to find the death report saying they hit me first. I’m addicted to the game and it’s great, but the system doesn’t allow me to play at the level I’m capable of. As a result I no longer practice because the benefit of doing so is only small for the amount of work invested. Apex should post a map showing pins where all the predators live, because I’m wondering if such a map would reveal there are areas where the internet/servers are great and areas where it sucks.
Rev, Ash, Path, and Octane have basically the same base sound to their footsteps, octanes are quicker step, path has the longest pause between steps do to his stride, revs are the quietest, ash footsteps sound “sharper?” Somehow 🤷🏾♂️
Is it worth practicing on controller? I’ve been torn, I play casual and place high diamond as a casual on mouse and key or controller. I feel mediocre on controller but the one clips are unreal. dead slides + latency ... how this game handles latency in all aspects I need a video on, it's so bogus how the game can bug out with a small ping spike
The movement tip I wish more ppl would listen to smh. Got back into apex recently after a year or so off and oh god the amount of ppl I come across that just spam crouch the moment they get in a fight wether behind cover or not lol I guess we got a bunch of COD and Fortnite players cause maybe that works in those games but apex is dif it has sick movement and character abilities to use when you get in fights. But hey if you wanna just stand in one spot crouch spamming while I light you up in your chest while sliding or using my abilities so you keep ducking into head shots or I can just hipfire is fine by me lol its actually comical how often ive been seeing that lately hahaha
imabsolutely nasty with the sentinel, so i always run no syringes, 4medkits, 6 batteries and 16 cells with like 112 sniper shots. Someone please try this out, Sentinel and wingman only.
I am always frustrated about #8 and how many people have no sense for space and strategy at all and usually they are the most arrogant ones, yelling like brats, trying to "lead" teammates in the middle of a fight of 2-3 other squads, like between them. Hey, I am a female (you know that sex supposedly not so good at orienting in space) but you know what, when they follow me, we win in 75% of matches.
My tip is don't take a "break" after season 2 only to return in season 12
That’s what I did
Same man same.
My man
This is directly aimed at me lol
Hahaha. I'm making it back after that break season 16.
Rushing in to help downed teammates is a bad habit I've developed over time, and unfortunately it became a problem because of how quickly people tend to dc when solo-queueing in pubs. @Brian Potter I see an issue happening when decent players are stuck watching horrible teammates leave the area, and the bodies/boxes, behind. Why should those people incur penalties for leaving a bad game instead of having to sit and wait to be timed out?
“Don’t carry too many med items”
Mande, casually rocking 6 med kits and 16 syringes: *Holds my beer*
@PeanutButter did they have a gold shield
@RoomiestChalice lol I ran into a death box once where someone was carrying 32 shield cells. I think my trio took maybe 8 total between us to top off from the fight.
Ever had 24 bats?
You forgot the best tip, " Use the charge rifle as many matches as possible". Also, knowing your mistakes isn't enough. I've watched my gameplay and know what I did wrong, but I don't usually remember to not repeat it.
@Alastor Deimos that’s because a Triple take is also a peacekeeper 😂
Can you please coach me
Pls tell me that first part is a joke. The charge rifle is such a skill lack weapon. But it seems some people here say otherwise
@Goblin You're certainly right.
maybe with your mistakes, try focusing on one thing at a time?
Took me a month to get used to changing bats to cells vice versus and all the different ammo types. May I also say I called the devotion the devolution for the entirety of season 2! I have 6000 hours on apex and this is helpful for everyone starting out 👌 would have been great if I saw it before the 6000 hours I put in. Would have saved me time figuring out myself all these years 👌
Yes it did 😅 but I have a feeling all those sweats you run in to would be playing regardless if covid happened or not 🥴
@chasz cole dont forget covid happened so everyone had time to do something.
Sorry I correct my self, just playing Alex 😅
You’ve played for 250days. You’re almost to a year of your life just playing video games 😅

Mango: "How to know which is the real mirage"

They all have audio
@Nash Noche sed reaccs only
But I’m deaf 😢

I once looted a death box and it had 32 shield cells 🤣
probably to keep enemies nearby from healing themselves
@Jed Litwiller We're they being a mad lad and running double shotgun ?
@Jed Litwiller with a pk?
I once looted a box and they had 72 shotgun shells
lmao
The first couple times i played apex i almost exclusively picked up phoenix kits bc purple=good. Died a lot
Something interesting is that free roam open world games is helpful to practice learning a map through experience
Just the way that I play but I prioritize teammates over most other things. I HATE when teammates ignore when I'm downed to loot or run away. Teams are your best chance at survival. Dropping on the other side of the map dooms both you and us

@WisdomThumbs rip
@InfiniteStrafes Line quality was terrible due to outdated infrastructure. Then I moved deep into the mountains.
What happened to ur internet?
what helped me improve a lot was lowering my sensitivity and fixing my posture.
Having toggles is pretty helpful also knowing that their anti cheat is one of the worst out there
only thing about health if you’re a revenant main his hit box is chunky so i always carry a little extra shields and medkits and i usually just drop a grenade since revenant has the silence ability
the anxiety when he left purple shields
Best tip, pick wraith, queue trios with fill, if you're not jump master ping a spot and launch there solo and when you die after a few seconds leave and abandon your team mates.
#7 can also be used for real-world scenarios for your safety.
I love the new backpack update three bats in each slot is so good so u can carry like 6-9 bats cells mekit and a few syringes
i believe you should of said FOV is different for everyone. 110 can work great for ppl but some ppl 70 works the equivalent
Mango I honestly gotta say you and TimProVision should be the in-game tutorial, the skill level would raise dramatically.
3:43 this is important when fighting against a mirage that is better than you, I ended up kicking the right mirage trying to hit me

You should update the heals to the new good bag
I can relate kind of. Half of my games with friends have had them do things like run ,loot slow get down as the reser
As an Octane main i carry no health items, never had a problem with it
Playing legends that have underwhelm ability like mirage and crypto that really need a good angle make me realize how important is map awarness
ye they have the same max. basemovement speed, however their accerleration is based on character size
when a teammate goes down i feel so much pressure because they keep pinging the enemy and are like "He's one shot" like okay so am I lol. I cant even heal in peace
I feel that
I wish I’d known that no matter how much I try to fix it, the distributed nature of the game (and perhaps the servers I default on) means about half my bullets don’t register when I hit an enemy. My guy thinks the only reason he isn't pred is his internet
If only i didn't "take a break" from season 2 to 15 like the other guy💀
Lifeline players PLEASE use ur drone to heal ur teammates, idkw why but everyone forgot that for strange reason lol.
You only need 1 slot for white meds. 2 med kits preferably.
Also you can jump in and off a zip line in under a second and you can do it 3 times but you have to stay on the zip line after the 3rd time
Man i wish i can forget apex so i can re learn it all again cause to me that was the most fun part playing
Great tips 👌 thanks a bunch
The reason i always rush in reviving my teammates is because if they die, they disconnect and then it's me vs 60 people...
Rev, Ash, Path, and Octane have basically the same base sound to their footsteps, octanes are quicker step, path has the longest pause between steps do to his stride, revs are the quietest, ash footsteps sound “sharper?” Somehow 🤷🏾♂️
How did you extend the invisibility time of mirages ult like that in 0:45
That mirage wall jump in the octane place was absolutely chefs kiss dude was lost af
I wish I knew what that I should’ve gotten a different heirloom (I got Octane’s)
Octanes heirloom is clean though.
@Jesus Christ no just a little Fortnite here and there because my friends play it
Do you play a diffrent legend now?
Is it worth practicing on controller?
I’ve been torn, I play casual and place high diamond as a casual on mouse and key or controller. I feel mediocre on controller but the one clips are unreal. I feel much better on mouse and key but feel like it would be easier to be better on controller. I just need to get more comfortable on it.
Mines is I wish I knew about this channel when I first started 🤣
I'm a top player with pathfinder. Can't wait to start playing again!
I remember when this did had 10k subs 1 year ago🎉
Well done!
You don't need to spend 10 mins healing to 100% when your team is desperate for help
Best tip for me would be to get a new controller cuz I’ve been rockin’ the same knockoff ps4 controller with bare to no ability of slight input. I gotta like rock the deadzone so high but it’s still so finicky
What would 4:4 sensitivity on mnk be for controller?
So just to clarify, your 15th tip is to change your sensitivity but you play on default settings?
So in any game that you can slide in, i always consistently slide because of WarFrame
Shhhhhh don’t tell them about Mirage
Don’t worry about him he’s no danger 😊
That wall bounce spinnaroonie in the intro was nice
That's what I do for the heals, I like it
dead slides + latency ... how this game handles latency in all aspects I need a video on, it's so bogus how the game can bug out with a small ping spike
Disagree with the heals mate, I always abuse a replicator to keep 8-12 shield bats and 2 medkits. The ability to outheal anyone is extremely powerful
I always carry 4 syringes and 4 shield cells 2 cell batteries and 2 medkits
A thing I wish my teammates knew: stop peaking the Kraber
imabsolutely nasty with the sentinel, so i always run no syringes, 4medkits, 6 batteries and 16 cells with like 112 sniper shots.
Me who carries 6 of both big heals
The one thing I wish is for that market mirage skin to return it came and left before I started playing the game 😔
All legends do not move the same speed , Maggie runs faster with a shotgun as for example wich is almost as fast as octanes passive.
I miss the patch were we can carry all that stuff
"All 22 legends have 3 abilities"
Pathfinder and Crypto:
*are you sure about that?*
My very first game I didnt Know You had to collect ammo 😑I swaped guns every 5 mins 😭
funny how i always can get someone banner and run past a whole team without them seeing me
3:24 pathfinder has 2 abilities
Pov: me being masters 2 times not knowing some of this kinda hurts my pride
I don’t know where to go for coaching I am at a point where I’m not sure what mistakes I am making, but my aim and movement are good.
Just KZclip it
mistakes
I play on controller and don’t overdo movement
Good advice bro 🤙
My friend Is a octane main and I always tell him what a gold helmet does he never listens (I’m a bloodhound main btw)
Me, watching with almost 100 wins:
“Interesting”
I always have 2 med kits 4 shield cells and 2-4 shield batteries
a coach and he telling us about mirage decoy awareness....if only mirage was meta
i give the gold helmet to Lifeline to cheese her ult.
Only carry 2 med kits 6 batteries and 4 cells just to top off my shield if I only get hit for like 10 damage or something
Mango Gang! Let's get him 100k!
