Please.... Please don't forget that little short gate is there. We did a similar thing and so easily forgot about it the first few nights. We came close to breaking our necks. In the dark, middle of the night, half asleep going down the stairs this gate is a major trip hazard. I can not stress enough how bad this could be for you or the Mrs.
Dejte polyuretanovou izolaci na všechny trubky s teplou vodou. Budete mít teplou v kohoutku dřív. Nemásíte odpouště tolik vody, než začne téci teplá. Zdravím. Jste šikovný a odvážný. Branka proti psovi v posteli je dobrý nápad. Akorát si myslím, že když jdete ze schodů dolů, tak se otevírá nepohodlně.
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living Sure do, yellow lab named Snoopy, she turned 12 in Sept and is doing great. Super funny video today, keep up the good work!
TY for inviting us in. I must say it is always ...interesting to see how projects are done. :) All the gate needs is a doggy door. Fixing the "float regulator" can be a challenge at times. Having a spare that has been re-manned not a bad idear. Protein hunting in your wood pile, well, makes the vid interesting. Hope the baby shower went well, and best to all.
"snack" is a word that turns up the excitement in my dog as well. She was back in the bedroom and could not be bothered till she heard you saying it several times and she came to me expecting a treat. I am trained well also and got it for her.
Tux is Awesome! LOL Hey I really like watching the family episodes, (your children are really great!) but the ones with just you are so Fun! LOL I totally enjoyed this episode! Thumbs up buddy!
I've had 3 of the "Boston Terrier" dogs in my life and all 3 would "sneak" in to the bed at night and do just what you talked about. We really love that breed.
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living - I have a pug that is 15 1/2 years old now, but up til the last 5 years, give or take, his energy was just like that. Oh! In fact you can go to my "channel" ha ha not a channel yet and the very first video I loaded was because I wanted to show someone what he did every day when I got back from work. You can see his energy there for sure. Enjoy! Tux is just so much like him that it makes me nostalgic for those days with mine.
LOL Poor little Tux lost his bed. LOL I have a little Jack just like Tux and will kick the fire out of you in the middle of the night. I hope you all don't forget about the gate being there and get up in the middle of the night and fall over the gate. Such a guy with not reading directions. Thank you for the visit with you today! I enjoyed it.
If you trimmed the gate so it's flush with the frame the catch would've been fine. A bit sturdier too. Love your channel bud. Hope to do similar (though much simpler) here in Australia.
Could be the flapper that's leaking. The fill valve will only keep filling the tank if the water is leaking out. That would only be the flapper. You also can get a back syphen out of the tube to fill the bowl.
That’s awesome man! And hilarious. I’ve banished all our pets from the bedroom for the same reason. Buggers will keep ya awake! All the best wishes and hellos from our off grid stead in northern Minnesota!
I think you’re right. 🙂. She lived in Wisconsin, too. Y’all are an inspiration. Been following you for awhile and love seeing all the progress you’re making!
That was my suggestion as well...it seems I’m always watching these videos too late to be helpful. I was also talking to the screen telling him the latch was too far out. Lol 😁
I was laughing about the doggy gate since I knew you didn't check the closure and would have to move it. I am new to your page and I am going thru the post but thought I would reply to this one.
I always use my mouth to hold extra screws or bits ( sometimes I think I'm a mule anyway). Good thing it's just a dog you're blocking, a goat would get over or through the gate.;-D.
You seem to have that dreaded disease...dropsy with those latches LOLOL Laughing so hard here thank you for the entertainment on installing that latch. I don't think I will ever forget this. Oh my goodness. If all else fails read the directions lolol GREAT job on repairing toilet I have 2 out of 4 toilets that needs that replaced thank you for showing me. God bless you all. Loved the video.
Oh too funny I got that toilet fix still in it s box and need to change it and you showed me how Thanks Love the Boston, and LOL gate ,Wow your so relaxing to watch just down to earth
You may want a sign about the gate part way down the stairs till you get used to it. Tripping over that thing in the middle of the night might leave a mark. Best put a thunder mug upstairs.
The Grub is actually a wood chipper,, when he come outta the wood for good he'll have 2 long wings & 4 or so short wings,, they bite & take a chunk of meat outta ya.. They make good fishing bait,, if your starving eat em,, if you have mac & cheese eat the m//c it won't bite back like those wood chippers do..aloha
As you recommended, I just watched several Imagine Acre Wood videos some older and some newer. I don't want to be unkind, but, you could really help Dave make better videos...more in focus, better sound, definitely better lighting, better theme development, and better editing. Maybe he needs a little better camera like the G7X. The opening title and song is too long and tedious. A better video product would really help his viewership. I wish them well with the birth of their next child. You have years of experience making videos overseas...and I recommend that you might invite Dave to come over to observe your video production and process. You are so comfortable with your audience and genuinely humble, I really look forward to your videos. I don't understand how your can deal with the construction and weather while making videos. I live about 17 miles north from you and know well what weather you and your family have been dealing with day to day during your build. Congratulations on your ingenuity, drive and endurance. I don't know I'm sure that it isn't or hasn't been easy for your all. I'm off grid with a partially finished structure and have been full time dealing with my construction and winter preparation but most especially power and heat. My wife and I have been on site now for 6 months, our first Idaho winter. Even so, I've come close to coming down to your place to offer some help, but I didn't want to interfere with your privacy, or whatever. Merry Christmas to you, Julie and your fine children.
Don't throughout the fill valve for I take the top off, put a rag over it, turn on the water for a little bit & flush it out, put top back & 90% of the time, no more leake.
11:00 I love how this comes back to him. Keeps on bitching about safety sally and in the mean time completely forgets to focus on the project at hand and then messes up where he screws the plate on. Beautiful. Almost scripted. Oh wait .. it was.
Please get rid of that baby gate. I put up one between a room I was adding to my house and the kitchen. I forgot it was there, and it is the perfect height to get a really hard fall, like happened to me!
Highly unlikely about packaged screws they are all automated and packaged by machine no hands touch them only after they are already packed in boxes to be hung in a hardware store to be sold.
Please.... Please don't forget that little short gate is there. We did a similar thing and so easily forgot about it the first few nights. We came close to breaking our necks. It's gonna be so exciting to see the Spring/summer projects going forward. The raised garden bed idea is fab !!!!
I hope it produces well.

"Safety for my sleep" that's awesome! You and Tuck make a great team, he's a wild man at treat time.
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living Sure do, yellow lab named Snoopy, she turned 12 in Sept and is doing great. Super funny video today, keep up the good work!
He sure is! Do you have a dog if so what kind?

My husband and I just started watching you guy's. Watching from the beginning... Ya'll are awesome
I've had 3 of the "Boston Terrier" dogs in my life and all 3 would "sneak" in to the bed at night and do just what you talked about. We really love that breed.
I love when pups are young and full of entertaining energy! But, you do have to deal with the training stages too.
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living - I have a pug that is 15 1/2 years old now, but up til the last 5 years, give or take, his energy was just like that. Oh! What kind of dog do you have?
Just a thought... label the water manifold, as you would the breaker box. : )
You can buy repair kits for the fluidmaster fill valve . Don't throw the old one out , in case it's a Sunday or your to far from the hardware store .
Thank you for that tip.
Tuxs is a flyer all he needs is a cape👌 Happy Holidays GuysT🎄⛄
LOL Poor little Tux lost his bed. LOL I have a little Jack just like Tux and will kick the fire out of you in the middle of the night. A SOLUTION: Put bathroom on one side of gate. :)
I'm worried about you guys coming down stairs in the middle of the night - might be a bit of a hazard! Keep up the great videos!
We will try to be careful. Do you have any recommendations?
When it comes to particle board, I always put a drop of wood glue on the screw.
Good tip.
You made me laugh this evening about the Baby Gate. I can always use a good laugh.
Good. I was hoping you would like it.
If you trimmed the gate so it's flush with the frame the catch would've been fine. A bit sturdier too.
Love your channel bud. Hope to do similar (though much simpler) here in Australia.
That compliment at the end should be aimed at your whole fam but this vid was just you so that's how my comment was framed. ;)
Soon as I seen the dog I'm hooked. For a moment I forgot it's a new house build. Hahaha
Keep up the gd work enjoying your craic 😜

Not the flapper.

Northern Minnesota! Didn’t Laura Ingalls live in Minnesota? I could be confused.
Just finished watching Red Poppy Ranch, great channel! Their in Idaho too! He also built his home himself
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living I've been watching rom the beginning.
Hi subscribe to him also. He is in southern Idaho. Probably about 10 or 12 hours away from us.
A magnetic catch may be a better solution, easy opening when you run downstairs in a hurry.
True that would be awesome.
That was my suggestion as well...it seems I’m always watching these videos too late to be helpful. I was also talking to the screen telling him the latch was too far out. Lol 😁
Cool video (although Safety Sally wouldn't approve) , it may have been her outside looking in is why Tux wanted out loll :)
Love this vlog so much.. haha its different with other vlog before... Good job.. Semangat pak Martin...👍👍
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living you arw always welcome...
Thank you for your kind words and the encouragement!
I was laughing about the doggy gate since I knew you didn't check the closure and would have to move it. I am new to your page and I am going thru the post but thought I would reply to this one.
That latch should be such that a person could push the gate open in case of an emergency, like the lock that used to be used on cabinet doors.
If there’s an emergency will just go down the chimney like a fire pole.
Yo wild bill! Relax pal, the partical board will snap with minimal pressure.
Thanks so much for the shout out guys! Love you all!
@Martin Johnson - Off Grid Living We are! It took youtube about 48 hours to approve us after we hit our watch hours. Thanks Brother!
You’re monetize now right?
I tried to make home grown macaroni, but the macaroni I planted must have been bad, it never grew into a macaroni plant.
I think you guys better grown a money tree.
I had the same problem with my cheese tree.
I always use my mouth to hold extra screws or bits ( sometimes I think I'm a mule anyway). Good thing it's just a dog you're blocking, a goat would get over or through the gate.;-D.

Awwww I love Tux 😍
Oh too funny I got that toilet fix still in it s box and need to change it and you showed me how Thanks Love the Boston, and LOL gate ,Wow your so relaxing to watch just down to earth
If you lived in Canada we have Robertson screws....greatest screws ever made....Love the shows
"Pushin', claws on my back, crowding the bed" sounds like my wife. Are you sure that isn't Julie? LOL
Sure. She is a sweetheart.
Tux is trying to get more air time so he can get his snacks monetized.
Just wondering who is going to be the 1st one to forget about that gate being there.
Samangat Pak Martin :)
Great video!
I doubt Tux could pull open that gate if you just use a magnet closure. That will save you having to bend down to open/close a lock.
Good idea.
26:11 wow that is one light bright down there
Cracked me up idk why haha
LOL I saw that coming. 11:04 I do that kind of stuff all the time.
blessed by god mr martin GBU family
You should have used magnets for the door gate.
Lots of people have said that. That’s a great idea.
Safety Sally found a competitor: Safety Marty.
Hehehehe
👍for pak Martin .. from 🇮🇩🇮🇩
You may want a sign about the gate part way down the stairs till you get used to it. Tripping over that thing in the middle of the night might leave a mark. Best put a thunder mug upstairs.
What are thunder mugs?

How on earth are you going to open it on your way down! lol be careful

Totally spontaneous. No script here.
Martin you need a dad day in town. I think you are a few degrees off. LOL
That could be true. Ha ha ha
Real men worship God Almighty.
👍👍👍👌👍☺️
We have a aluminum porch gate at the top of our open stairwell to the basement.
Putting it at the top of our stairs would be a good place but there is no where to mount it.
What is the magnetic attachment called if was to order one?
It’s all done automatically, untouched by human hands
dave is great nice plug for them
Please get rid of that baby gate. I put up one between a room I was adding to my house and the kitchen. I forgot it was there, and it is the perfect height to get a really hard fall, like happened to me!
Baby gate🐕🦺💯❤
I hope you don't have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and forget that is there that would be my luck
Me too.
Enjoy watching your video
thats what i was thinking about fogetting its their and tripping over it
But Nervous Nellie said something can go wrong if you don't. =0)
hope you don't have to come down the stairs at night in a hurry
Dang It Marty 😆
From one knuckle head to another. Been there, done that. Lol.
Imagine Acre Wood I believe is now getting monetized!
That is so great! Thanks to everybody that helped them out.
Hey Marty that won’t work lol. Blessings Buddy
11:04, thats why why im keep whatching😂
Sometime is good to be along feel fredom enjoy Martin .
Nothing is better than Velveeta shells and cheese ..lol
Told ya that's not gonna work @11:00 😄
Rindu bahasa Indonesia pak martin
Hey Martin you gonna eat that grub? LOL! Never knew those things were noisy!👍👍👍🐸🐸🐸🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛
Yewwww! You'll find it when you're not looking for it! What ever it was! Be careful..hope it was nothing poisonous!🦂🕷️🕸️🐜🐛🐛
I’m not 100% sure that it was the grab making the noise but I couldn’t find anything else.
Where you put the gate and how short it is looks dangerous
"marty home alone" 😄
😂
Great video. Love the sarcasm.
merry Christmas Mr. Martin...
That what I was doing when you posted watching their old videos

Oh good. I’m safe then.
