Please do a video about pre off grid life and how you prepared to make the jump. It would be so helpful to understand a little more about finances required to get a set up like what you guys have now. Thank you for all the hard work you guys put into your videos!!
The amount of work these two do by themselves, while also filming, is impressive. I stumbled on one of their solar panel videos and have been sort of binge watching since. Great content.
Everything yall do have such a "finished" look. Riley, I am like you ...I love watching things being made. That was so much fun. I love how concise the technology was to mold the panels to size. Courtney, so sorry you are feeling poopy. Great job guys and so bright now. Hugs and stuff.
I've been a carpenter for around 25 years and I still love when a new phase of a project is done. Love the way the shop is turning out. It's a huge difference! Love seeing the progress!
The metal was such a great option for the shop interior. I love the industrial look and you can pressure wash it when it gets dirty. Holy crap, those ceiling light are blinding, but so necessary for fab work. You guys rock and Courtney i hope you are now feeling 100%. 😎💚
Amazing planning was required to do this job so well. Detailed planning, including the J & F channels, the 8ft and 18 ft panels. Glad the scissor lift made the finish work possible, especially since Courtney wasn't available 100%. Please get better soon and stay well both of you.
You guys did an awesome job. My compliments to Courtney at being such a great help and great worker. My wife helped me with three homes, and she put up with my unending grumpiness . What a hero!
What a great and amazing job on the inside of the shop. The lighting was really over the top. Get better soon Courtney. Love what you guys are doing!😊🎃
One thing that keeps coming up for me as I have watched you guys build this out is how effective you have been at choosing building styles that are most efficient from a labor-time perspective. Great Job!
Shop looks amazing and those lights are crazy bright with the white metal ... Courtney you are a real trooper working and feeling crappy. You guys are SO close to a completed work space, 🇺🇸
Sorry to hear you were under the weather, Courtney. Despite that setback, the shop interior looks amazing. What a great year of accomplishments for you two.
Glad to see you getting close to finishing the shop. Those walls look good. I hope Courtney is feeling better and that she didn't have Covid ... now, if she is pregnant, that's a different story 🙂 Looking forward to seeing how you set this shop up.
love the rusty look on the outside of your garage door, the rustier it gets the better it looks (my opinion only) also all the interior you two have done looks great n professional.
So amazing. In one year a dirt pad to finished exterior, with loft. A new road for the second delivery of concrete, finished floor and NOW beautiful white walls. Double, triple WOW!
Decades ago a friend and I drywalled a ceiling with 5/8" X 12 foot drywall using ladders and a scaffold ... which is one reason why I quit doing drywall.... The metal panels look soooooo much easier. Also, all sympathy to Courtney... it major sucks to work when you are that sick....
Great job on the shop. I love everything you've done. Those lights are amazing. I feel for you Courtney. It must have been hard to help when you're feeling like crap. Thank you very much for letting share in your projects.
I love the look of the sheet metal finish in your workshop. That Scissors Lift worked out brilliantly for you. I hope Courtney feels well soon. I love all the projects yee get up to on your property nothing seems to phase yee. Keep up the great work.😀👍👍
OK you wonderful two.....getting close to time to decide what the next project is. We need you to have other projects. You are one of the best sources of entertainment and instruction on the internet. Love you both!
seems to me that if you ever want to get rid of that mis-cut all you need to do is order one piece and install it over the entire section just in reverse and since the metal is so thin you wouldn't be able to see that it's an extra layer....orrr just don't look up. haha. looks great guys! thanks for sharing
The fact that you seem to love what you're doing makes it a joy to watch. Thank you. A positive and encouraging experience watching the two of you. I am so glad I found your channel.
You guys keep giving me and I assume many other people the inspiration to one day be able to build a barndominium. Thank you and keep up the good work!
That turned-out beautiful! So cool that you had a shop so close that could custom make it all. So sorry you were feeling bad, Courtney. 🤧 Hope you're better by now 🤗
The shop is coming together, very professional. Sorry that Courtney has been feeling ill. Your ingenuity is stellar, in hanging the metal. If you needed help, you should just call. God bless both of you.
Wow! That is an awesome job. The metal siding inside was way easier than sheetrock, taping & floating and painting. I know it was worth the effort, I hope it was worth whatever the added expense. Those lights blow me away. I know the white walls and ceiling add a lot of light, but wow....that came out really good. You guys rock! Hope Courtney gets better soon.
You folks have done a great job finishing up the interior walls and ceiling of your shop area 👌This is a very large area to finish, but you both have tackled this work like pros ! 👍👀Well done, quality work 😃
Impressed with finish, and lighting, really good idea on the trex toe kick. Looking forward to seeing what y’all have planned for the rest of the space. Noted in another comment reply about the plans for shelving… Used to visit a motorcycle shop that had a really cool metal “cat walk” around the perimeter over the show room that acted as storage/display for their collection … Really enjoy y’all’s content.
HIGHLY inspirational video guys. That shop is awesome and the two of you are living the best version of yourselves. Thanks so much for making your dreams come to fruition, and Godspeed each step of the way.
Great job, Riley and Courtney! And way to power through your illness, Courtney, and help get this done on time. Hopefully, you're feeling all better now.
By your spirit guys, you make this gigantic works looks like a piece of cake. I think, everybody too like me thinks that this work is heavy but you nailed it, so sophisticated, thanks for sharing we enjoyed it, thank you.
Hope Courtney is feeling better. WOW the shops looks great now. The metal panels made the job finishing so quick and easier then drywall. And the lights are so bright . Now you are getting close to finishing and be able to set up all your tools. How has the overhead door been working out? I like the idea the door acts like a awning. Im so impressed what you 2 have done building your place and the huge improvement to the road
The lite color sheet metal that you chose to put on the ceiling in the walls and after installing the lights really lit up the inside of your shop looks really great. And tell Courtney that I hope she gets feeling better tell her to eat some chicken soup is somehow that always makes you feel better. And as always looking forward to y'all's next video next Sunday.
Watching the two of you work is like watching an illusionist performance by a great magician😲. Each piece of the mosaic, which represents your workshop, seems to have a life of its own and fit perfectly where you planned🤝! I admire Courtney's stoicism, nothing can stop her💪! Amazing Riley's ability to correct the third window error, the patch is absolutely unnoticeable👌! 🥰🥰
You two have hight energy and enthusiasm even thought Courtney is not felling well. The white sheet metal finishes the interior with a light, bright surface and the lights are fantastic. Riley, it is interesting to watch the production of your sheet metal order being produced. Blessings to you neat folks.
Looks nice yall. If you do build another post frame building in the future look into commercial/bookshelf wall girts. They give you the framing on the inside off the bat, ultimately saves lumber and time. I'm building a 40x60x18 this spring, thanks for the inspiration.
Not sure what you have planned for the gyp wall, but I think a great look would be to mill some pine from your land and clad the wall in planks. Minimal cost, cool accent, ties in with the land. Just a thought. Keep up the great progress, guys!
Absolutely amazing! As usual the AS Team came through like champs. What was a little shocking to me was how (seemingly) perfectly square everything is - ceiling and all - that you didn’t have any slivers of material needing to get at a tiny angle to get everything to fit ‘n finish perfectly. You two are expert carpenters and a joy to watch. I’m super inspired by you two. Bless you for sharing your story, your engineering prowess, and how beautiful a marriage can work… any kids planned? You two would be incredible parents! 🎉❤🎃
Looks great. When you factor in the cost of keeping the scissor lift and paint the price gap isn't quite so big. It will make the shop area a little noisier as you found out. Great way to go. This is to late for you but might help someone else, when the batteries get low, you can run it plugged in. Was a little surprised you didn't get the drywall side painted while you had it?? Love the lights Get a leaf blower for "sweeping" out the shop.
Agreed, i feel like they could have put drywall and then liner panel on the apartment wall to have better sound separation but also match the look and skip a lot of drywall finishing and painting up high. Looks great all in all though.
Looks amazing! Is hyperlight going to be an Amazon affiliate? Should be because you show case their products so well. When all this is done i can't wait to see what you make from now on. We are excited for you guys. Get better Courtney!
Great Job it looks Amazing!!!!! Courtney your a trooper! Amazing the Teamwork you two display, makes me wanna buy IBEX and i don't have any walls to finish! lol
Looking great with the shop. It's shaping up very nicely with the paneling and lights in place. Riley those are some awesome bright lights to help you to see lol. You did a great job with the panel work. And Courtney please feel better soon your a trooper helping while feeling low. Till next time you two. ;)
Looks awesome. As for the echo… try using some perforated liner panels. They help out a LOT. Keep up the adventure. You two make my Sunday morning coffee break fun. 👍

The amount of work these two do by themselves, while also filming, is impressive. I stumbled on one of their solar panel videos and have been sort of binge watching since. Great content.
Awesome. Courtney is a trooper. She even manages to smile when feeling down.
Everything yall do have such a "finished" look. Riley, I am like you ...I love watching things being made. That was so much fun. I love how concise the technology was to mold the panels to size. Courtney, so sorry you are feeling poopy. Great job guys and so bright now. Hugs and stuff.
Watching the panels be made gave us an even great appreciation for how cool of a product it is!
I've been a carpenter for around 25 years and I still love when a new phase of a project is done. Love the way the shop is turning out. It's a huge difference! Love seeing the progress!

You folks have done so much work. Good work.
This is so cool, I've been binge-watching your project and I'm impressed at how much you've accomplished. Keep it up.
Sometimes it feels like an uphill battle, and other times we turn around and it's starting to look like a finished building!
The interior looks fantastic guys, nice work!
It's all really taking shape now. It's satisfying to see and clearly better for you both.
That turned-out beautiful! So cool that you had a shop so close that could custom make it all. So sorry you were feeling bad, Courtney. 🤧 Hope you're better by now 🤗

Looking good! I was looking for the window frame repair, and it looks like you did a fantastic job of hiding it!
Nice going guys like the finish getting to look like a workshop😊
That one step to get the interior looking so good!
Wow! That is an awesome job. The metal siding inside was way easier than sheetrock, taping & floating and painting. I know it was worth the effort, I hope it was worth whatever the added expense. Great job guys!!!! You are so inspiring!!!
The metal paneling for a shop area is a pretty sweet setup. Should make cleaning up an accidental 'mess' a simple task.
Pretty cool how you used that Trex as a baseboard and kick board. I'll bet Trex would like to see how you are using their product.
Very cool project. As a fellow Mfg Engineer of over 30 years I wish I had done what you did.
Wishing Courtney improved health ASAP!!! The shop looks GREAT!
Love the metal wall and ceiling. It looks neat, bright and appealing to the eyes. Keep up the great work guys!
Looks awesome! So fun to watch. I hope you are feeling better!

I think that the inclination is not as good with bookshelf wall girts
