@Extreme Chimpout Yea. Tried to go with my family when we were in vegas and the shop was totally different none of the main dudes were there. Obviously a set.
that warcraft sword...i'd never part with that. i'd likely use it to chop stuff up around the house like firewood or scare any bears away. definitely would have it on a mantle.
The way Mike Yamasaki explain things very thoroughly and politely just makes me thinks he's a great person. "When handing a sword, and if you trust the one you're handing it to. Make sure the blade is pointing towards you."
@Kyoto Ed I wasn't specific enough since I was referring to the US (since the whole show is based in it). As for the Europe being a crucible of all human culture, even though I am living in it, please, let this be the last time you're saying something like that. It's presenting you as an uneducated person. Long long time ago, while the Europe was a wild mess, India, Persia, Africa, China just to name a few were a thriving communities for thousands of years. (That's 1 with three zeroes). Many of our customs, religions, traditions, language, norms, laws and art is what it is today because of them.
@Brett DW Music I disagree. No one who doesn't deserve to go will be going with me. And if they just expect it for nothing they will be one of the ones not going with me 🤣🫣
@Razvan Adrian Solea depends on condition. And also if you clean the blade or not. Some antiques it doesn't matter as they already have a patina. Also depends on steel alloy. And can depend on if the blade is oiled or not. Properly it doesn't matter if you clean and reoil it. But some alloys like L6 for example rust very fast. And some ancient steel is kind of unknown.
yea, my stomach gets mushed every time I see the others putting their oily hands on the blades. I am totally not exaggerating when I say you can ruing any blade, not to mention the very old ones because of the acidic nature of the oily hands
An old friend of mine owned a pawn shop for a lot of years and I will always remember a card he had in front of a showcase: "Nothing is worth anything until someone wants it" Words to live by......
I love when Chumlee explains the history of the object like he actually knows what he's talking about and it wasn't just told to him 15 minutes before the shot.
@Steve Voltmann I mean it should be pretty obvious that it's scripted by how rinse and repeat it is, with the only difference between occurrences being the people and the item(s). It's always customer walks up, briefly describes the item, presents what they want, pawn shop calls an expert, expert gives opinions on item, seller wants what the expert values the item at, pawn shop offers less than 50% of the value mentioned by expert, a little bit of "haggling" and then a sale/walk away.
No, it's documented that the show is staged... just like any reality TV show. What I can't understand is how anybody can think it isn't scripted either by just watching the behavior or just the fact the anything going on broadcast is always scripted but it's so obvious it's hard to watch sometimes
@Clancy _hanrahan You really think they talk about every single item that comes in like the first paragraph of a Wiki off the cuff? They know about stuff sure but not that detailed.
@V. Duskren I just think that very valuable pieces are not treated properly! Those guys ain't even wearing gloves! The "experts".. Also the way they do bargains. OK I got that it's buisness, but feels more like gambling than trading artifacts..
@El Rodrigo You can get a new Frostmourne replica for less than 300 bucks nowadays. Unless you find somebody who's hot on the original box, 750 is a great deal for it.
the expert knew nothing about the game though, "if you were one of the top tier players, you had to have frostmourne" ...uh no one had frostmourne it was never in the game as an obtainable item.
if its worth 55 million, why go to a pawn shop? you should be going to sothebys auction house. people will go to pawnshops if they are really really desperate or its a fake.
You have to love when they start explaining background of the item to its owner even if 5 seconds before that had no clue what this item was. I know it has to be entertaining and probably creators of that show thought it would be the best way to explain something to the audience, but this instant change is so ridiculous :D
LMFAO I know, right? Forget the pawn shop and this show! Rick and Corey should take that genius test and see if they can get that genius grant for money. I mean, with all the knowledge they've gained through the show and through their shop, I bet they would know almost everything. Either that or get on Jeopardy and see if you can go on a run and win tons of money. Then the other one could go, one at a time, ya know?
@Weather Station Lytovchenko Don't stress, friend. The average viewer wouldn't know that and that is who is watching the show. The expert knows his stuff but he's only got so much camera time for the segment and the history lesson can only get so involved. Tell people 'Germany was Germany' back then and that's a bird walk they don't have time for.
@Weather Station Lytovchenko uhm it's not that he believes Germany existed back then. It's simply how things are referred to. Solingen was one of the known German blade making centers. Do some research.
They do it more so for the show itself, most of it is staged. For instance when they just "walk in". They made an appointment etc. And for some reason the experts are always there in 10 minutes. That's because they are already there
I just love the Samurai dude.. he's just so respectful when handling the Samurais and It's like the swords have souls. And he acts and respects greatly the history and the might of the swords.
17:22, best Rick moment ever when his friend who owns another pawn shop wants to trade sword for something in the shop and Rick responds, "what are you going to trade for? You already have all of the tacky jewelry you need..." Hahah! Priceless. Thanks for making my night.
Seller: “I’m here to sell this lightsaber. I’m looking for $1,000,000.” Rick: “Okay, I’m going to call in a friend of mine, an expert on this. Just to see if it’s authentic.” Expert: “Wow first and foremost you don’t see these. Not only are they impossible to find, but... well they’re impossible to find. The hilt looks amazing. Now what we really wanna know is if the kyber crystal is intact and is stable. Okay it is. The actual date on when they were invented is hard to say. But they are the weaponry for the Jedi as well as the Sith. The outer design is up to the user, however the kyber crystals color will depend on the force with the user. Now Sith on the other hand will bleed the kyber crystals red. Very authentic.” Rick: “Okay awesome, so what we looking at in price range.” Expert: “Well they’re impossible to obtain and you’re looking at $40,000,000,000 minimum. I mean minimum.” Rick: “Wow okay well thank you for coming in.” Rick: “Okay so the best I can do for you is $1,250. Not a penny higher and I’m taking a big risk here.” Seller: “...yeah we can’t make a deal.” Rick: “Okay well I’ll be here if you change your mind .” Seller: “Okay.” Rick: “...$1,275”
@Johnny Carter Shazzamm Sgt. Carter..GahhhhhhhLee..Grand ma Pyre says to chew your food 23 times before swallowing it..Citizens Arrest.... Citizens Arrest
"Now Sith on the other hand will bleed the kyber crystals red" Still the absolute dumbest idea the Disney era of Star Wars had....Okay, maybe not THE dumbest...but its hard to choose from the mess of this Era of Star Wars....
@Boyster 39 You don't like their offer, then don't sell it. It's that simple. There are literally 100s of other places in Vegas where a seller can go. And Rick SHOULD get millions, because he puts his whole life into his business.
Dragoons regiments were part of the heavy cavalry like the cuirassiers. Dragoons had a cavalry muskets with long straight sword "latte". They were the major composent of the movement strategy of Napoléon. In a glance, from a cavalry regiment they became an "infantery" fire support with their rifles.
To everyone talking about the difference between the pro's pricing and the pawn shop's price, the difference between those 2 minus about 10% is the money they make. Also has to be taken into account if it will sit in the shop for a long time.
Speaking of swords, my gf tells me that its pretty well known and common knowledge that Rick has recently come out and revealed that in his personal life he enjoys swallowing swords and has been a very enthusiastic sword swallower for many years, ironically.. In this episode Rick is portrayed as being only somewhat knowledgeable on swords when in fact hes quite the expert in swordplay and the handling of a variety of different swords..
Tony Branco he gave the KZclip channel Barstool Sports a tour of his office at UFC headquarters and both the expensive swords he bought are right in the middle of his officer
Budd: I got this Hattori Hanzō sword... Rick: Best I can do is 250. Budd: Sold Bill: (screams internally) Yes, I know Budd didn't actually hock his sword, shut up, nerd.
My Name nah he's just trying to point out that when someone asks "do you mind" if they answer yes then that means they do mind and are practically saying no but if they don't mind then that means they said yes
Chum has made some good deals on swords. Maybe trust the guy a bit more; even pay him some japanese history course so he can become the expert he wants to be and actually make good apraisals on japanese relics, not only swords.
They also started with Chum saying he's not nerdy enough to know about Warcraft. Then two minutes later he says "Frostmourne hungers" - so he either lied, or was fed that line by a producer.
Just the way they talked about WoW was... bad. I'd explain it like this - do you know Dungeons and Dragons? think that, just in a videogame, and legally distinct from it. and it's massively multiplayer so you have 100s and 1000s of people playing on the same server, doing the same quests, some together and some not, etc. They made it sounds like WoW was.... well, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
I love when a legit expert on that specific item the seller has, values it at what it’s worth based on a ton information, and the seller is like “nah you’re stupid it’s worth much more based on my 3 day experience and Wikipedia research”
Right around the 1 hour mark.... Rick got himself an incredible deal on those knives! That collector should have done his research. Considering his Asking Price, clearly; he didn't.
I watch this for the story of the antique. I wish, oh how I wish I could go and look for these things. It is a passion so I'm glad there is a show. So I can pretend I found these things! I was an antique dealer in a past life I swear.
14:58 : Cameraman *Enjoying the view* -Rick, Rick, Rick! I have something for you! -Cameraman : _Heavily breathes while trying to move the camera as naturally as possible_
The one thing about Chumlee after a deal doesn't work, is he stays there and says have a good day, or something else to the customer. Corey just kinda walks away and doesn't say anything.
The teacher's hana katana was the most interesting story; her decision to spend the money on her classroom is why teachers are different than the rest of us.
True but not true he really didn't redo the sword at all he just sent it to Japan to have experts polish it, fixed the handle, and had a whole new sheath made but still had the older sheath. plus it had proof that it dated back to a family. most people just replace everything and have no proof where it came from.
16:40 that's not a katana, thats a tachi, the guy says its from the 1500s so around the sengoku era, whats really interesting is that people around this time preferred katanas over the tachi due to draw speed, so a person owning a tachi during that time is quire rare, its also a fairly short tachi for some reason, its way too curved to be a katana, katanas didnt curve all the way to the tang so its definitely a tachi but tachis were usually longer, anyways thanks for reading this random ramble, God bless!

I would watch it.
Good
Mike Yamasaki needs his own History Channel or Disney+ show all about Japanese swords and the history of the Samurai.
Ok CIA
@Kasa Grim naaaaahh!
Fax
I love when Chum gets something and everyone questions him and then it ends up being worth a lot more
@Extreme Chimpout Yea. Tried to go with my family when we were in vegas and the shop was totally different none of the main dudes were there. Obviously a set.
yeh thats why they do it they know its entertaining to the audience i enjoyed it to
It’s just Chum Luck
that warcraft sword...i'd never part with that. i'd likely use it to chop stuff up around the house like firewood or scare any bears away. definitely would have it on a mantle.
@Ludwig Van So Chumlee wants to look like a total DH, why?
The way Mike Yamasaki explain things very thoroughly and politely just makes me thinks he's a great person. "When handing a sword, and if you trust the one you're handing it to. Make sure the blade is pointing towards you."
@Luka Dragovic I know. I was just being provocative Sir.
@Myles Gonzales Compared to US, ohh they do mate.
Love how Rick walked out to talk to the customer that bought the sword, realized who it was, sold him another sword.
Was very obviously scripted, he couldn't even keep his usually decent acting skills under control pretending it wasn't :P Still funny though
In Mike we trust. Anytime I see him, I know it's an honest and professional assessment on an item.
Mike and Rebecca imo.
That pulwar was an incredible restoration. Who would have thought such a beautiful sword was under all that rust.
So a grandfather brought back a rare sword from japan during ww2 and his grandson sold it to take his family to a theme park..very very admirable.
He brought that back from WW2 and you hock it at the pawnshop to go see Mickey mouse!!! How admirable you are son
Grandad owed me money!!
@Brett DW Music I disagree. No one who doesn't deserve to go will be going with me. And if they just expect it for nothing they will be one of the ones not going with me 🤣🫣
@ToyTaanic L
So a grandfather brought back a rare sword from japan during ww2 and his grandson sold it to take his family to a theme park..very very admirable.
Kudos to Mike Yamasaki for holding every blade with care..
@Razvan Adrian Solea depends on condition. And also if you clean the blade or not.

Properly it doesn't matter if you clean and reoil it. But some alloys like L6 for example rust very fast. And some ancient steel is kind of unknown.
@Nate H Brother Roy huh ?
MIKE is very careless, just watching him makes my stomach turn
yea, my stomach gets mushed every time I see the others putting their oily hands on the blades. I am totally not exaggerating when I say you can ruing any blade, not to mention the very old ones because of the acidic nature of the oily hands
Mike Yamasaki is true master and how deep respect he has to those swords. He should broadcast his channel
really great expertise at that shop. many small pawn shops wont deal with high ticket items. 18k for a sword is quite steep.
14:58 The camera man is a man of culture
She definitely had something interesting there 😅
@Patrice Legault I actually though she was Blake Lively on my first look
@Patrice Legault no , why do you say that? Because she’s blonde ?
@DJ Waffles Kinda look like a knockoff Paris Hilton lol
An old friend of mine owned a pawn shop for a lot of years and I will always remember a card he had in front of a showcase:
"Nothing is worth anything until someone wants it"
Words to live by......
That sword expert is amazing. He's soooo intelligent and knows everything about his craft. Love him.
Yeah, David Baker is a really cool guy. Great to watch him when they let him show off a little on Forged in Fire.
I love when Chumlee explains the history of the object like he actually knows what he's talking about and it wasn't just told to him 15 minutes before the shot.
Chumlee is acting stupid for the show
@Steve Voltmann I mean it should be pretty obvious that it's scripted by how rinse and repeat it is, with the only difference between occurrences being the people and the item(s).

@Clancy _hanrahan They probably each know about their own niche stuff
@Clancy _hanrahan You really think they talk about every single item that comes in like the first paragraph of a Wiki off the cuff? They know about stuff sure but not that detailed.
Dude I honestly love this show but sometimes it just hurts watching some amazing items go for the same price as a new iPhone.
@Pawel you must be crazy if you think these precious items of history are Jess than a measly iPhone
@V. Duskren I just think that very valuable pieces are not treated properly! Those guys ain't even wearing gloves! The "experts"..
Also the way they do bargains. OK I got that it's buisness, but feels more like gambling than trading artifacts..
lol you cannot compare this history and priceless item with iphone dude thats a shame man
You need to be crazy to compare those priceless items to iPhone
The first owner is one the few owners I respected in this show!
He knows the value of his possession and refuses to underestimate it
Except it wasnt a Dragoons sword from the Imperial Guard, was a ceremonial award he would of been lucky to get what was offered
I love the brutal honesty on the guy with the wow sword. He said "its still in the original box I haven't played with it...Much."
@El Rodrigo You can get a new Frostmourne replica for less than 300 bucks nowadays. Unless you find somebody who's hot on the original box, 750 is a great deal for it.
@Binsto Yeah that dude pretty much scammed himself when he decided to take the sword to pawn stars
i feel like 750 is a steal for that sword
the expert knew nothing about the game though, "if you were one of the top tier players, you had to have frostmourne" ...uh no one had frostmourne it was never in the game as an obtainable item.
Great to see Dave Baker from 'Forged in Fire' on the show. Much respect for his knowledge and appraisals 🙌
They really do got good stuff that comes in, even if it is set up. Was fun to watch. Great video
“This sword is 3000 years old and goes for about 55 million”
“I’ll give ya 25 bucks.”
DONE
if its worth 55 million, why go to a pawn shop? you should be going to sothebys auction house. people will go to pawnshops if they are really really desperate or its a fake.
Rick is cut throat 🤣
I gotta have it framed
You made me laugh dude 😂
I really like the aspect of sharing the background and historical events of the items brought in.
History Channel baby 😎
You have to love when they start explaining background of the item to its owner even if 5 seconds before that had no clue what this item was. I know it has to be entertaining and probably creators of that show thought it would be the best way to explain something to the audience, but this instant change is so ridiculous :D
@TheAngryDanishViking True, the modern audience doesn't really need that much of a boost to buy into pretty much anything. Unfortunately.
Then the other one could go, one at a time, ya know?
yeah, if anything just added 'well looked it up and-' and that's all you need for a good way to let the rest blast past.
Him : "What's a dragoon?"
Also him : "The imperial guard is one of the most famous forces in Europe "
@Владимир I was kinda upset that he called them artillery. They were literally just cavalry basically, but with a fun name
Scripted
Dragoons are definetly not "mounted artillery" . They were mounted infantry in battle they will dismound and fight on foot.
Owner: I'm not afraid of experts, i'm some sort of expert myself.
''A fricking judge from forged in fire comes in''
Forged in fire is terrible.
@Francisco Ruiz Sosa All the alien conspiracy theories are pretty darn fake tho.
History channelverse is real
@Weather Station Lytovchenko Don't stress, friend. The average viewer wouldn't know that and that is who is watching the show. The expert knows his stuff but he's only got so much camera time for the segment and the history lesson can only get so involved. Tell people 'Germany was Germany' back then and that's a bird walk they don't have time for.
@Weather Station Lytovchenko uhm it's not that he believes Germany existed back then. It's simply how things are referred to. Solingen was one of the known German blade making centers. Do some research.
THE NON STOP BALL BREAKING BETWEEN THESE GUYS IS PRICELESS!!!!
Seller: 40000$
Expert: 4500$
Chumlee: 60$
Ah yes, the dealer.
$50 I take all the risk
@A stack of Boomer tree fiddy
I'll give you my Ivy Cap, that's the best I can do
*The trickster*
He clearly read art of the deal
Chumlee the king of failing upwards ... it’s definitely a skill only few possess
My names Jeff andrew what are you doing in here
Just about every politician has that skill
Chumlee said no to a good deal. Very good. I did not believe him to be able to drive that straight of a line. Again, very good Chumlee
I'd love to have a spear like that. Kris blades are so cool
8:13 love how he bows to the sword as respect
I didn’t even notice that
Yes. Hos and Rick pulls the swords out like they are toys
I love chum explaining the imperial guard to a dude who’s clearly well versed after being befuddled by the word dragoon
OMG the Samurai swords speak for themselves even till today...even in a layman's eyes
Just realized Chum has more charisma with customers than others on the shop lol
I loved when Chum said that he was going to take the sword with him
I love it when Chum starts slinging knowledge. Everyone is confused
I could watch Mike appraise samurai swords all day.
The dude who brought in the world of Warcraft sword felt so hurt when chum said what do i look like a nerd
Chumlee is the reason I keep watching this show. Well that and the cool historical stuff.
He’s 😂 hilarious 😂
Seller: “I’m here to sell this lightsaber. I’m looking for $1,000,000.”
Rick: “Okay, I’m going to call in a friend of mine, an expert on this. Just to see if it’s authentic.”

Expert: “Well they’re impossible to obtain and you’re looking at $40,000,000,000 minimum. I mean minimum.”
Rick: “Wow okay well thank you for coming in.”
Rick: “Okay so the best I can do for you is $1,250. Not a penny higher and I’m taking a big risk here.”

"Now Sith on the other hand will bleed the kyber crystals red" Still the absolute dumbest idea the Disney era of Star Wars had....Okay, maybe not THE dumbest...but its hard to choose from the mess of this Era of Star Wars....
The fact that the guy with the dragoon sword didnt hate chum after that was awsome
“The item is worth $2,000,000”
*”I’ll give you $350 for it”*
@Boyster 39 You don't like their offer, then don't sell it. It's that simple. There are literally 100s of other places in Vegas where a seller can go. And Rick SHOULD get millions, because he puts his whole life into his business.
*and I'm taking a big risk here*
@Derek Cantwell I mean Rick never did that people are just haters and butthurt
And I’m taking all the risk. This thing is gonna sit forever and I’ll have to find the one person who wants it’s that able to buy it.
30:54 Middle Eastern swords during the medieval period were actually very similar to European swords, though usually a bit narrower in width.
I like how they directly showed Dana White after Rick said not to sell the special samurai sword from Mike 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The fact he let go of the frost for 750 is criminal.....
Get Davis and Craig their own Documentary series! It’d be well funny!
I like how honest Rick is: "you know I dont usually do this"+"its a fair price"
I really enjoyed this. I hope to see more collections like this.
I swear to God, Rick is the only one keeping the company in business.
Rick equating “I made more money off him than I lost” to friendship
Ah, the pork sword.
Dana White's collection of swords is impressive, would love to see the room he's storing them in.
Tony Branco he gave the KZclip channel Barstool Sports a tour of his office at UFC headquarters and both the expensive swords he bought are right in the middle of his officer
That sword deal . Dude comes in for 1 sword leaves with 10,000 years of history
Seeing David Baker put a smile on my face
Budd: I got this Hattori Hanzō sword...
Rick: Best I can do is 250.
Budd: Sold
Bill: (screams internally)
Yes, I know Budd didn't actually hock his sword, shut up, nerd.
The last episode of pawn stars I watched was 2 years ago and at that time chum was a newbie..but now he has grown into sort of an expert.
Chumlee is the face of respect
“This is the oldest most exquisite Samari sword I have ever come across”
“So what you wanna do”
“YoU sTilL GoT THat DuNE BUgGy?!?”
Omg im dying lmao
@camarenashizue copied
“This sword is 3000 years old and goes for about 55 million”
“I’ll give ya 25 bucks.”
"Samari"! Because no one reads anymore, xD
Lol ikr? 😂😂
I loved the episode where Rick buys the Frostmourne sword and becomes the Pawn Lich King.
I would love...LOVE a 500 year or older samurai sword. The oldest I owned at one time was about 150 years old.
"This end knob was created to prevent the blade from sliding out of your hand" That expert realized that at that moment.
Wish I could have as many friends as Rick 😔
It’s not about the quantity, it’s about quality. Hard to find real friends, especially in the US
@jkpondmaster friends are underrated actually, good friends are underrated. Maybe you will find 1-2 in your life. I’m so glad I found them
Friends are overrated
Letting chumlee make decisions on high value items is like getting advice on how to work out and get fit from chumlee
Chum: "Mind if I have a look at it?"
Guy: "Yes."
*Chum picks it up and looks at it*
some people just don't know the right answer to that question, unfortunately.
Guy: "Yes." Look just don't touch!
r/antimeme
My Name nah he's just trying to point out that when someone asks "do you mind" if they answer yes then that means they do mind and are practically saying no but if they don't mind then that means they said yes
Komedy
I love watching these for the history of the items alone.
@Pawn Stars lmfaoo
Hi! Thanks for being a #PawnStars fan!
Chum has made some good deals on swords. Maybe trust the guy a bit more; even pay him some japanese history course so he can become the expert he wants to be and actually make good apraisals on japanese relics, not only swords.
I can't believe they really thought they could get $1200 out of that Ryumon sword...
"You had to have this sword if you were a top tier player"
You couldn't even get frostmourne tho
They also started with Chum saying he's not nerdy enough to know about Warcraft. Then two minutes later he says "Frostmourne hungers" - so he either lied, or was fed that line by a producer.
ok nerd
Yeah whoever did the research for that part of the show dropped the ball.
That would be an awkward fight with Arthas. He just standing there like an unarmed fool taking a beating of the millennium
Could you imagine going to a pawn shop to buy a sword and you casually spend 70k on katanas.
I love when a legit expert on that specific item the seller has, values it at what it’s worth based on a ton information, and the seller is like “nah you’re stupid it’s worth much more based on my 3 day experience and Wikipedia research”
The "expert" gets paid by the shop. So you cant really trust them
The "expert" gets paid by the shop. So you cant really trust them
The ultimate would be a duel between 2 experts. One for the seller and one for the shop. Dueling experts is the penultimate negotiation.
Right around the 1 hour mark.... Rick got himself an incredible deal on those knives! That collector should have done his research. Considering his Asking Price, clearly; he didn't.
Chum: How much of a nerd do you think I am?
Also Chum: Frostmourne hungers!
Chumlee: “Mind if I look at it?”
Guy: “Yess”
Chumlee: looks at it anyway
Wow that was a nice surprise seeing Dave Baker show up ! Love Forged in Fire
Really like that the fellow kept his sword, not to let these crooks steal it .
I really like this expert! He is brilliant in knowledge and very humble.
I watch this for the story of the antique. I wish, oh how I wish I could go and look for these things. It is a passion so I'm glad there is a show. So I can pretend I found these things! I was an antique dealer in a past life I swear.
Nice to see the Colonel himself came down to verify the Napoleonic Decorative sword.
I love how they just show the blonde bomb shell browsing at an item as davey walks in in the background
I feel bad for the WOW sword guy. His expression during the whole ordeal was like 😕😞
Imagine being worth 500,000,000 dollars, and haggling a 40,000 dollar sword.
You’ve made it when you can walk in and buy 70,000 worth of swords
Chum Lee is comic relief in the show.🤣🤣🤣
Rick looked pretty cool holding frost born lol
14:58 : Cameraman *Enjoying the view*
-Rick, Rick, Rick! I have something for you!
-Cameraman : _Heavily breathes while trying to move the camera as naturally as possible_
Until the camera panned to the guy talking, I thought he was trying to sell the blonde.
cant blame him, shes really beautiful
lmao! that girl was beautiful
I was thinking the same thing.
lmao hahah
The one thing about Chumlee after a deal doesn't work, is he stays there and says have a good day, or something else to the customer. Corey just kinda walks away and doesn't say anything.
Imagine rick finding that sword for 15 bucks, very nice sale for 300 as well
33:40 Love this sword, the style and the heritage.
The teacher's hana katana was the most interesting story; her decision to spend the money on her classroom is why teachers are different than the rest of us.
Rick: you had your sword redone. That really brings down the value.
Also Rick: i just had this sword redone now its worth 4x as much.
True but not true he really didn't redo the sword at all he just sent it to Japan to have experts polish it, fixed the handle, and had a whole new sheath made but still had the older sheath. plus it had proof that it dated back to a family. most people just replace everything and have no proof where it came from.
A crossover of two shows from the same network that both ended because of controversial events involving the favorite people
16:40 that's not a katana, thats a tachi, the guy says its from the 1500s so around the sengoku era, whats really interesting is that people around this time preferred katanas over the tachi due to draw speed, so a person owning a tachi during that time is quire rare, its also a fairly short tachi for some reason, its way too curved to be a katana, katanas didnt curve all the way to the tang so its definitely a tachi but tachis were usually longer, anyways thanks for reading this random ramble, God bless!
A tachi for a teen maybe??
Dam the more you know
Brooo that dude that had the two handed sword and mace was a LEGEND. He had a 200 IQ and knew the pawn star owner was con with his “buddy” lol
I love when Chums trying desperately to remember his script...like this dude knows anything about the Napoleonic army!! Lol.
Yeah, it's downright ridiculous. But American people don't mind because they don't care about authenticity, they just want entertainment.
Mace guy: Gimmie $3500
Expert: No, $2500
Mace guy: "And I took that personally"
Never underestimate Chum
The sword pistol seems like a good home secretary item
