Besides the fact just wanted to thank you for saving my mentality as a young man. I’m an ex felon at 22 who now goes to church and has a family with communication beyond words. Our newborns life is better off for it. Not only did you save me as a young man but my daughters future. I should be dead and repeating an unstable gang like mentality…but Jordan Peterson teaches about overcoming trauma on KZclip lol. Love you and thank you wise guy.

Please keep up your work Jordan.
You inspired me to work harder on my goals. 3 years ago i was an jobless loser. Now i'm a mechatronics-engineer soon. I'm also going to build an house at the end of the year and getting married in September. I'm so thankful to you. I never thought i would be able to study a pretty complex field, work 3 days a week beside that, working out in the gym 3 to 4 times a week and keeping an healthy relationship. You are one of my heroes.

@Deb Hughes this is the problem, that common sense is hidden from everyone, and swindlers of various calibers are in plain sight, there is such a thing as Pharisees, are you familiar with it? Pharisees today and Pharisees 2000 years ago, if not, then it is necessary to fill this gap

Hello, thank you for all your podcasts. I like to say something about Iran, Iran has been made from different parts, Arab, kourd, baluch and etc. Although, all of them are United under one name, and they are proud of it. There is a book called "Shahnameh." This book is old and has many great stories. This book saved Persian language, and it is a reason that when Arab attacked Iran around 6B.C. and governed Iran for 200 years, we still talk Persian. This book isn't a religious book, but people still practice it.

Good point. Iran is an ancient and experienced country. It will survive US bullying and strive. Unfortunately, Prof Peterson is ill informed and his guest is just spewing prejudices, not a balanced analysis. The US is innocent, Iran is evil - and "they need an enemy", Peterson chips in, rather unhelpfully... He really needs to read up on the topic.

Dr Peterson, I'm a 43year old post op trans woman and I truly appreciate how you're advice has helped me to conceptualise gender "rights" and the importance of me taking personal responsibility. You have been instrumental in me realising how futile it is aligning myself to victimhood. I have become a mentally stronger, more self reliant person. Thankyou😘

I'm not an LGBTQ+ person, so I cannot identify with the daily personal struggles such folks face.
However, as a survivor of psychological and some physical abuse from a toxic family (father, mother, mother's sister and my sibling) either through direct, proxy or indirect involvement, who were each other's flying monkeys backing up their tag team abuse. I can understand some of the difficulties of your own personal life's journey, and wanted to share that one truth my abusive family always kept me from realizing (before I finally broke free from their collective toxic influence) is that we are in control of our own lives, and there's nothing really stopping us from consciously deciding to give ourselves permission in making the choices enabling each one of us, in living the rest of our lives as happy as we can make them.
I try not to let the expectations of others or the fear my toxic family inculcated into my mind since I was a child, to interfere with becoming the person I instinctively feel I was always meant to be.
We are born with the potential to be many kinds of people, but we eventually die as one person; I try each day to be the best honorable, honest, compassionate, positive and smartest person I can humanly be. I never intend to stop learning about living a good life and my STEMA interests, and do my best to keep an open mind.
When I die I hope my epitaph may read something like:
"I made sure no one else got hurt, and I still had a great time doing that final test!" or
"That last idea that I had fun working out in my head, seemed really great at the time." or
"Yeah I know it was dangerous, but I thought I had worked out all the kinks and at least I had a blast!" or
"Science made me do it. And in my defense, I did enjoy it to the last!" or
"Even though it was unwise to put myself in harm's way, I really hope I managed to capture that money shot footage on my camera. I hope I got a cool Cinematic look; did I remember to push the REC button?"

That's Awesome! I love coming down here and reading these success stories. Speaking for myself, the transition from victimhood to responsibility feels like freedom. I'm halfway through my life as well, and I think we switched course at the very last second possible.
I've noticed that people who have reached the age of 50 tend to solidify in their habits. they're less elastic in their ability to learn grow and change.
We imagine that we'll be this sharp and clever forever, but it rarely works out that way.
Best to get some of this taken care of before it becomes too complicated and tiring, knwo what i mean?
I just have one question...Is Nivea a good choice for skin care in the Florida sun when combined with a 70spf?
After i began working last year, the sun began attempting to age me. I have lines now. wrinkles.
What can i place on my face that doesn't immediately melt off with sweat?
They all claim to stay on, but they all sweat off within 30 minutes.
It's not immediately apparent that weatherproof sweat-proof sunblock actually exists!

@Nicholas Newman I disagree. On Iran, Russia, Putin, he is not investigating but going along with Mead's America-good-all-other-countries-bad bias. He agrees and reinforces Mead's imputation of evil motives to Putin, to the Iranians. Peterson is really quite green in these geopolitical matters, and had better begin by learning - and not just from blindly pro-US policy people.

Jordan, you are not alone in your battle against the Ontario College of Psychologists. Your supporters are with you. You also have truth and justice on your side. These are powerful allies. While your opponents are tyrants, remain calm and humble. List and subpoena your opponents as adverse witnesses. As you cross examine your opponents, ask your questions. They are good questions that need to be asked. It’s time to put this woke agenda on trial.

Mr Walter Russell Mead is amazing, very likable and his thought process and what insights he gave me in this interview literally gave me goosebumps. That we can't fight with our "facts" cause it gets us nowhere and wars and God of battles will decide who's "right" and who gets to live and what facts get to survive. We should try to find common grounds so all could find a home and some place to belong to, that's tough though but something to consider whenever we think we're right.

@Ivan K Marawi siege happened a long time ago. Where many civilian people were being hostage and some got killed. If my memory serves it correctly. There were rebels which associated themselves as ISIS and they siege a specific place as it was being reported on TV news. It takes a long period of time before it was settled by army and other some powerful groups of the country. According to the news (not quite sure if it was true though) The mastermind was a member of ISIS from a different country. I think after the war they settled a peace to talk to resolve the issue. Of course casualties can't be avoided on this matter. Many civilians lost their houses, livelihood, a place to stay and loved ones. This was one of the most terible event that happened and was not being resolved in a short period of time by the authorities. I dunno what the administration doing on those times.

@Kantu Mutaka Orwell's 1984 is definitely his most famous book, however he has written many other books and essays that are far more explanatory of his political opinions and justifications for holding them.
If you haven't ever heard of Noam Chomsky you definitely need to check him out, he is the most renowned intellectual of the last century.

One thing that stood out to me was when Walter said "the USA beat Japan in WW2, but we didn't want to stay" I had to laugh.
The USA changed Japan's constitution after that war, enforced no Japanese military spending, and still has multiple military bases.
The USA has kept Japan bent over a barrel the whole time, and had had continual military presence.

It's on the seasonal and cyclical trend of Anglo-American generations dating back to the sixteenth century(generation theory). I believe it would be a very relevant breakdown as it deals with today's current events, thank you.

    Dear Dr Peterson,
This is just another positive comment for you to read if you ever happen to come across it.
I realise that’s unlikely, but anyway maybe this is more for me than for you.
I’ve really enjoyed listening to your lectures and podcasts and interviews the last few years. It’s really opened my eyes to things about the world and about people that I didn’t ever really realise, or if I did I knew some of them crudely but couldn’t articulate them.
One thing you’ve given me is some guts. I’ve become much more likely to stand up for what I believe is true and right, and speak up against evil when I hear it or see it.
I’ve always been someone who believes in God, in Jesus as being God’s son. I don’t profess to be an expert but I feel I know Him personally, and I think I’ve got my foundation in order.
I’m 35, have a wife and 3 kids under 4, an engineer, a car enthusiast, a football fan, I lift weights semi regularly, and I love Jesus and know with all my heart He alone saves us. It’s is the only thing I know for certain in my heart. Even though I don’t fully understand it.
If you’re ever in Melbourne and want to have a normal afternoon, you’re welcome to come to my house and meet my family.
I’ll cook you a thick juicy steak on the BBQ.
God bless you, I hope you truly find Jesus and I hope you can see what is coming. Be watchful.

You'd wrong, though. Putin is a good leader and a fine human being, and if you are a little patient, you'll see that he'll do a lot of good for humanity. Peterson is just not well informed about Russia and Putin. He can't get out of the heavy US anti-Putin propaganda that envelopes most of the West. Let's hope he finds his way out of this dark cloud.
