Worst part for me is I did wake up from a coma in 2022. A tree landed on me December 4th 2021 and I woke up in January of 2022. I always tell people I feel like I’m in the twilight zone.

I was also born in 2003, but even in that span of life, I’ve watched progressivism morph from the following:
Oh yeah we believe in the progressive Ness of society! To help society progress, we must see people for who they are, not disregard their physical attributes but rather not care about them, as they say nothing about the person! Everyone is an equal human being to one another, and the only way we can prevent fascism is to allow freedom of speech of everyone including fascists. We need to allow everyone to be able to think for themselves and that’s how we will have harmony in our society. We should never ever imitate the fascist philosophy by suppressing niche fascist groups, because then we would be feeding into their fire. This is why we must have free-speech, or else we would be no better than them.
In 2015, this all started to change
It went from what I just said, to this:
Since racism keeps happening around the country, there are still people who would kill another person for the racial identity, let’s be just like them, and start to see a large part of peoples identity as their physical attributes! Let’s bring 1950s gender norms back, but Collett progressive because now you can change your “gender “! free speech? No! That’s giving way too much autonomy to the “bad “people! If they have a voice, then their body bad bad ideas might spread and then people will believe in their body bad bad ideas! Heck where has progressivism ever been anti-censorship? Gee I don’t remember!
As you can see, these two definitions are very vastly different. I did actually have someone explain to me that the reason why critical race theory is important, and the reason why we should start focusing on race again, is because hate crimes towards people because of race supposedly were disregarded because of lack of “seeing rates “. What I pointed out to this person is, you can ignore Unnecessary physical attributes as being an important part of someone’s identity and still be able to see racism. I like to see the person as a person and not identify them as if I’m trying to figure out different kinds of Pedegree breeds of cats. They are human beings, and again not that I ignore New wants facial feature differences and such, but I just don’t mentally make such a distinction between Asian people and white people and Black people and so on and so forth as seems to be expected these days and how conservative used to think.
The thing is, that’s now considered offensive, because yeah ideas that, because you didn’t mentally make such a large distinction between you and other people simply based off of looking a little different, there is systemic racism? I’m pretty sure that’s not where systemic racism comes from, a crucial part of the progressive movement actually causing progression. What I mean by this is, for this to be a problem, it is not the fault of this philosophy, it’s the fault of the politicians who have overtly ignored racist hate crimes instead of addressing them. You can address racial injustice without seeing somebody’s entire being as defined as “different from me “

@Obsolete Values on the side of the neck is where the artery is. I've been chokef enough times to know that a knee to the neck is a great way to pass out, specially after minutes. As they said before, the debate is if it was done on purpose.

    • Obsolete Values
Obsolete Values 8 ай бұрын +2

@Cardinal Copia People saw what they were preconditioned to see, not what actually happened. The officer's knee was always and only on the *side* of GF's neck. The knee was never close to the carotid artery [jugular] (which would have stopped the flow of blood to the brain), nor was it ever close to the trachea [windpipe] (which would have suffocated him). I read the autopsy, and *three* different places said there was no damage to GF's neck. Chauvin was guilty because he kept a man high on both fentanyl and methamphetamines horizontal, which reduced the overdosed man's ability to breathe.

This is a great idea to write into a 90 minute feature film. So much hilarious dialog not even touched on. YES, you can write a script for a film that centers around 2 people having a conversation, just like the film My Dinner With Andre.

I keep saying "I wish someone would wake me up & tell me the last couple years have just been a nightmare. But they don't."
Life is short, though. James 4:14 "...what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time & then vanishes away." AFTER the last second of this one, we will look back & say, "THIS is reality. 'Life' on Earth was just a nightmare."
    Eternity will have begun. Prayers!
Keep up the good job JP. If nobody WAKES up, at least you KEEP awake those of us who ARE awake!
