Q: Will you finally add Kaga into the game? She's basically the last Pearl Harbor Aircraft Carrier to be added to War Thunder, since Shokaku and Zuikaku, Hiryu and Soryu are already in the game, and are used pretty frequently, and even Akagi spawning on some maps, why not add Kaga into the mix as well? Then you could finally make the Midway map spawn the 4 historical carriers. I'd love to see Kaga finally be put into the game. Maybe even make her a playable CV in the future? I'd really love that.
@The Iron Wolf I'd say that that form is basically "fictional" Then I'd say just add Tosa, since she was almost finished. And I mainly meant her as the post 1936 Refit, since that is what attacked Pearl Harbor, and fought in the Battle of Midway, which would fit right into the existing maps in War Thunder.
I really pray we see the J7W2 in game someday soon. I think Japan deserves it. Also, the Nakajima Ki-201 Karyū (中島 キ201 火龍, "Fire Dragon), the full scale Me 262 close, would be another nice addition to the tree.
@AvionDrake579 I bet these planes will come one day. Gaijin can never afford to run out of vehicles for BP and events. And since these were absolute prototype planes, it would only be reasonable to not include them into the open tech tree
@Teknechrom C204 J7W1 was the only built variant, but there was blueprints and plans to install a jet engine into the plane, making the J7W2, which if my memory serves me right, would have used a Ne-130 having been based on a BMW 003 engine. Japan had them shipped to them by the Kreigsmarine's U-Boats along with plans for the Jumo 004, the He 162, and the Maybach HL230 diesel engine that would have been for tanks and submarines, and a rumored fully disassembled Tiger H. A lot of people know about the sinking of U-864, a Type IXD2 submarine that sank carrying plans for the V-2 missile, along with tons of mercury, but that submarine was actually a part of a convoy of subs that was sent to Japan in hopes of transferring enough technology to Japan to help turn the tide in the Pacific in hopes of drawing more troops out of Europe. Again, if I remember correctly, only one or two of the submarines made it, which contained the blueprints and some of the harder to manufacture components for the Walther rocket engine that powered the Me 163, which led to the "Ki 200" Mitsubishi J8M1 Shusui of which 60 training version and 7 combat version were made and flight tested, killing one of the test pilots after an engine flare out during take off. None saw combat from what historians know. Back to the Kyushu J7W1, a jet powered version fitted with a Ne-130 axial-flow turbojet producing 1978lbs of thrust was designed on paper, but never left the drawing board due to the scarcity of resources and the ever pressing need to pump out more and more planes, meaning that there was no tooling or workers to spare working on prototypes. Japan at this time was under the impression that a giant US invading force could be on its shores any day. Whenever you see any "further improvements" to the J7W platform, such as the "J7W3", are purely fiction.
@AvionDrake579 Same, I absolutely love flying mine out too. I fly it like a prop version of a Me 262 and have a blast. I like odd stuff, another favorite of mine is the He 162. Many people complain about its performance, but I was having fund with it since back in the day when it would be flying up against some of the best US early jets like the P-80. People would try to climb to fast with it and complained about its performance, without realizing that you had to climb at high speeds only, leveling off every 5k ft and building up speed, before zoom climbing for about about 7k ft and then repeating the process. Around 17-20k ft the jet would auto-cool its WEP, allowing you to stay on the WEP as long as you wanted, until you got back down to lower altitudes. It's dive performance was amazing, along with its roll rate which came in handy during defensive flying, which threw a lot of people off. I find it sad that we don't have "Axis vs Allies Air RB MM" anymore. The game was a lot more fun and made each side unique in terms of playstyle and tactics. It might have been hard for newbies, but once they got the concept down of what their nation's strengths were, it offered much more immersive gameplay.
There’s one very important detail missing from this story though! Nakajima engineers reverse-engineered the early German turbojets by simply looking at pictures of their design since the actual turbine units sank together with the subs carrying them back to Japan. Even then, they still knew about the metallurgical issues with the compressor blades and persevered through with their Ne-20 engines. That, and the J7W’s existence shows that even in final stages of the war Japanese aviation engineering is not to be underestimated. Now, if only the J7W2 with their copy of the German X-4 guided air-to-air missile is in the tech tree.
Hey Gajin question: why is the ki-200 at such a high BR? to be honest it doesn’t fit in At 8.7 because it goes up against AAMs and jets like the mig21 which is far superior all I really am saying is to lower the ki-200s be to at least 8.0 it would really help matchmaking plus it also helps the SL cost because it’s practically insane how much you need to pay to repair it at 16,000 SL
It is often overlooked that the main reason that German adopted jet engines was the fact that the Fischer-Tropp coal to oil system was able to produce a fuel more suitable for a turbo jet. Certainly had the Ishikawajima Ne-20 engine available in quantity, and earlier, the Kyushu J7W Shinden would have become a very formidable weapon and a very unpleasant surprise for allied aircraft. Today, at least two Nakajima Kikka airframes survive in the USA. Along with one of the two prototype Kyushu J7W Shinden aircraft built. Also, two Mitsubishi J8M aircraft survive. One is preserved at the Planes of Fame Museum at Chino, California. This is believed to be J8M403. A second aircraft was found in a very derelict condition in a cave in Japan during the 1960s. It has now been fully restored by Mitsubishi. I strongly suspect that had Japan been able to actually get these aircraft operational in quantity during 1945. It would have effectively meant that the allies would have been unable to defeat Japan.
Q: When will it be possible for us to see further look into the possible Japanese "heavy" tanks that were being built or produced like the O-I? Sure there is not much, but even just adding the O-I, you have a weaker, more funny looking Maus tank, with worse guns, but decent armor. And PLEASE make it a main tree vehicle, not an event or a premium, you can't replace the O-I and give us something worse for the main line to make up for the premium.
Q: Do why gaijin never updated the J7W1 design? Some fans sent some profs of slats in the plane and thinks like that and the answer was kinda “we don’t have enough information to do it” when, in fact, some planes are purely blueprints and are still on game.
Japanese engineers: We managed to design and create our own jet plane blueprints and build few prototipes to test it, with almost 0 knowledge about jet aircraft design. Also japanese engineers: would it be funny if the Kikka has a stick in the middle of the airframe for aiming? Hehe.
the specific temperature of the engine can affect its performance the specific temperature or climate of a map can affect an engine in an off state therefore, it must also change while the engine is on and then so, the temperature of the map affects the engine
Thank you Sir Frank Whittle for your brilliant idea for a Jet Engine. You Patented the idea and against all odds( govt disinterest) you made the First jet engine. The Patent was made Public and the idea picked up by the Germans. The First jet flight being made by the Germans just before the British first flight. Collaboration with America saw them rapidly produce there first Jet Fighter. All these were to late in the War to make the massive difference they would have if they had come in the early 1940. But fantastic progress was made during the 40s into the 50s. The first Civil Jet Airliner was designed during the wear and flew in 1949 the Comet
Because Japan, the last cheap repair cost aircraft you would see in japanese tech tree would be A6M5. Everything after it is just straight out robbing your wallet.
It’s incredibly nimble and anyone who tries to dogfight it (Most of the player base) lose quickly. This is the same reason the A6Ms and R2Y2s have seen a steady increase above what they are actually capable of against skilled players. Due to its small size it’s very hard to hit, increasing survivability and making it dangerous in a headon (as only one or two hits from 30mm HE tracers will obliterate any aircraft in the game.) Finally, although it’s engine is hot it’s tiny. This makes it much more difficult to lock a missile onto the aircraft at all, needing the enemy to get closer and thus let the Ki-200 know they exist, at which point it’s superior mobility will decimate the missile attacker. Does this justify the repair cost? Not at all, but I feel that it works incredibly well at 8.7. I even have took it for a spin up at 9.3 with squad mates and performed decently, with around 1-2 kills per game!
Imperial Japanese plane actually have good technology. I still remember American pilot say if Zero actually can outperformed Hellcat, Corsair, and some american plane. They have good technology. But lack of good tactics
Please fix the kikka. There is no option to use the take off boosters now so sometimes I can't take off with a bomb load. The landing gear is also bugged because it rips off at high speeds despite being retracted.
Q: We know that Germans used to implement whistles on their bombs, so via the Doppler Effect, a plane that is dropping bombs would hear a decreasing pitch on the whistle. But isn't it the opposite on the receiving end? A tank getting bombed should hear the sound as an increasing high pitched whistle. Is it possible that you implement this to the game? Thank you!
Q:Can you bring back those climbing the ranks videos but remastered with new updates vehicles and features. Even talk about the chinese tech tree and more ship and helicopter tech trees.
Q: Will you add J7W Shinden with Jet Engine that never produced nor even drawn? Well, you might make it a premium aircraft or whatever. I think Japanese need more vehicles
@John Krantz Yeah, almost like the JASDF had long intervals in between acquiring new aircraft IRL. Gaijin had the option of adding the F-16AJ, of which some were built, but didn't.
@MultiKaeseToast Realism and historical accuracy are two different things my guy. Also Gaijin said partially built or finalized plans are OK for ships since you can't exactly prototype ships the same way tanks or planes are prototyped. That said I do think think its guns should be changed to a more historically accurate version.
@Gastón Couyet sure, realism is good and all, but at certain point you do have to balance the game, and Japan gets shafted in aircraft as soon as you hit jets. Remember, Japan was the only nation that didn't get a new rank 8 aircraft.
Well, very nice video, but it doesn't explain, why the Ki-200 is placed in BR 8.7, forced to fight with the jets of the late 50's, some of them equipped with AIM-9 missles. And this is the case when she isn't even uptiered.
Not exactly like the German Meseersmchitt 163 Komet or 262. They did used the German's jet technology, The MXY-7 OHKA. Japanese had NAKAJIMA KIKKA Ne-20, but it came too late.
Yeah id love to see an air launched suicide cruise missile with 800kg warhead for Japan, because why not? Maybe the G5N and G8N can carry two of them, who knows?
excellent video! but i saw the battle pass and the missions and they are horrible! I expected something more epic than the previous one! the first mission kill 150 players in 2 weeks! gaijin you have to study work and that
Please spread the battle rating. Its insane how can a plane from the 40's or 50's fighting against a plane from the 70's or 80's. This game is so unbalanced
Warthunder ist das realistische panzer Spiel was es zur Zeit gibt, und ich zocke es gerne und viel :). Ich hoffe es kommen noch viele mehr panzer/flugzeuge/Schiffe/hubschrauber/boote.
Yep. Japan is kind of resource poor. (Was a major reason for their war in the first place.) And resources are kind of hard to come by when the US navy is putting a strangle hold on your economy.
Gaijin can you fix the japanese gunner textures? They are still bugged. Also some rank 4 Japan planes are overtiered, most noticeably J2M3 and J2M5, the J7W1 too.
Hey would you bring town the ki200 so it can be playable and repair the landing gear of the kikka because we have to j out every time at the beginning of a game ? Thanks
5.6K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍. You're welcome! Thanks for the fun, digital video recording! 🎬✌️🖖🙏🤓🤠😎 Notes: I just subscribed! Your approach is more fun than that of shows that I've seen on, "History", and other sources like that one!
If you go deep enough into the semantics, I believe you will discover that both rocket engines and turbojet engines are examples of jet propulsion. Both of them produce thrust by generating a high-speed jet of fluid reaction mass - for rockets, this reaction mass consists solely of combustion gases, for turbojet engines the exhaust jet consists of a mix of combustion gases and air.
Plz fix the aim-9L its way overpowered now. If u get one launched at u from behind its a death sentence. but the worst part is that countermessures are useless even when you maneuver.
I know you guys get petitioned all the time, but when are we finally going to see ejection seats ? Combined with a higher reward for saving the pilot it could stop players from blindly going down with their planes shooting wildly rather than being sensible and bailing out.
@Galaxy I am NOT taking away from Japan's abilities and their Technical know how. I respect their achievements. However, Facts are Germany gave Japan Designs of these planes..
the R2Y is purely japanese design and J9N Kikka is heavily modified, it looks like a 262 but is completely different, its smaller, has different guns, straight wings, etc...
Please, just don't "ostwind II" japanese jet bombers. Add a note in ingame encyclopedia and leave it at that. They're already having to exist with armor piercing bombs that do nothing:(
The first Japanese jets were just the Japanese Air Force saying “hey Germany, is it ok if I copy your homework but I change it up a bit so no one notices?”
can we talk about the japanese f104 being at 10.7 with only aim9p's? seriously how is it 10.7 when the a5c is 10.0 with matra magic 1's and the a-10 and a-6e TRAM are at 10.0. it literally makes 0 sense.
Man I wish we could get the Ki-201 Fire Dragon At least the engine was built so I guess according to the fourm it's an incomplete prototype so possible?
I want it to, but yeah... In WT we only get at least "1 complete prototype to mass produce" for tanks and aircraft & "laid down to complete" for ships... R2Y2 V1-3 Keiun sadly the only design project that uses the jet engine, upgraded the "Recon" R2Y1 Keiun, so most of the players or I hear rumors that the aircraft will be removed from the game(except players already researched).. so only a chance "never" to get the Ki-201 Karyū...
Don't listen to these guys, the Aim9L is the best ir missile, the r60m is really flare hungry, the 9L has *some* flare resistance. If we're talking radar It might be the AIM7M.
pls tho dont remove the R2Y familly of jets even tho they didnt existed on models they arent op and japan lacks in many areas in the tech tree every aircraft in the series is serious gap fillers
The Lufftwaffe gave the rights to copy the design to Japan long before the German surrender as Japan wanted to equip the latest aircraft carriers with those jets.
I always wondered, since Gaijin introduced the fantasy R2Y2 jets which literally did not exist at all even on paper, could we ever see the actually designed Me262 prototypes eg the HG variants?
@Dio Brando Both V1 and V2 hulls were damaged enough. Its general consensus that they were being driven to serve as bunkers before being scuttled by crews. It doesn't matter anyway since the Maus in game isn't based off the one the Soviets put together. The hull deflectors indicate that its based on the functional prototype tested at Boeblingen in early 1944.
@Dead Baron The Maus we have in game isn't based off the one the Soviets put together. The hull deflectors indicate that its based on the functional prototype tested at Boeblingen in early 1944.
@Dead Baron they had 2 prototypes, one with a turret. the one with the turret got destroyed, at least the hull, so the mounted the working turret on the other hull
Lower the br on Japanese planes. They are way too high because people don't understand not to turn fight them. Plus frontline bombers should be much lower.
The Japanese Army and Navy 30mm cannons in-game make ZERO 😂 sense. Their stats are all over the place with some shells reaching 920m/s while the rest have 710m/s. Than you have HEF shells with 35g TNT but HEF-T with 35g PETN, why would the tracerless shell have the same amount of explosive? Three explosive shells all with three different fuze senstivities. Either 0.8mm, 0.3mm or 0.1mm. Who came up with such messy values?
Their repair costs are too high for them to be enjoyable. I never blame you for Su-25 pr these, but PLEASE, FIND ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE MONEY THEN REPAIR COST! The game would be an amazing place with much more excited players, and your money will still flow! There is even no way to get rid of repair cost by paying money! Then, the battles are just premiums fighting each other.
Japan had only a couple of prototype jet and rocket propelled aircraft. NONE reached operational status. Like Germany, they had some advanced designs that did not have a snowflake's chance in hell of ever being built, much less seeing actual service. The Kikka did see limited (and remarkably unsuccessful) use but while it was winged and powered by rockets, it was a guided bomb (guided by a human on a one-way trip). Their jet and rocket powered aircraft prototypes only JUST qualify as "WWII" aircraft as they had their few test flights in the last few days of the war.
The LaGG-3 and P-51 absolutely did not have any features of a jet aircraft other than features shared by all aircraft. Equating the Meredith effect to a jet turbine is just wrong.
I love ❤️ Japanese products I love Japanese food Japanese women are known for their feminity and loyalty. They would be top of the class if they recognized and followed the Creator and His Son Jesus Christ

How many varians j7w had?
Imagine running out of ammo
My son, if you are in the Japanese army your are the ammo
With the Cannonball you're also cannon fodder from the very Moment of running out of ammo.
Me163 was also known as the "Cannonball".
*Banzaiiii!*
Uh oh
@Jimmy July Ayo YOU GOT LIKE FROM WAR THUNDER

It's honestly one of the best planes at it's current BR, it doesn't need to get dropped
missiles are not an issue to any rocket jet if you know when to turn off its engine
If u can’t dodge a missile you can’t fly the ki-200
well, it's unbeatable in a dogfight. if you get missiled, turn off the engine then turn.
@Cameron Scheer It's like when the Hunter f6 was 10.3, everyone says it was overtiered which was true but I managed to get a great kd with it
Q: Is it planned to have cruiser/carrier hybrids ships (IJN Mogami 1943) or monitor ships (HMS Terror) in game?

O-I should replace the Ho-Ri production as Japan's heavy armored vehicle

Not funny m8 💀
Q: (kind of weird one) does the temp on the maps affect engine temp or the plane overall performance?
Yes
@Goose_ people dont give WT enough credit for the little things
they even (very slightly) change shell velocity for ground maps
the specific temperature of the engine can affect its performance
the specific temperature or climate of a map can affect an engine in an off state
therefore, it must also change while the engine is on
and then so, the temperature of the map affects the engine
yes for both

🇧🇷 muito bom 🙋🏻♀️👍🏻✨
I love ❤Japanese planes can’t wait for more Japanese plane videos 🎉😊❤
Q: Why is ki200 so expensive to repair when it have to deal with missiles and jets from the 60s?
@Risang Aji Nugraha Because japan, almost every prop plane is op and over turn almost every other plane
Because Japan, the last cheap repair cost aircraft you would see in japanese tech tree would be A6M5. Everything after it is just straight out robbing your wallet.
Dealing missiles with ki200 is super easy just cut trust to 0% and missel lose tracking
Because it's in the japanese tech tree.
It’s incredibly nimble and anyone who tries to dogfight it (Most of the player base) lose quickly. This is the same reason the A6Ms and R2Y2s have seen a steady increase above what they are actually capable of against skilled players.

Can we see the J7W2 ingame, I would really like it, I know the parts existed so I think it’s viable
Reconsider the Mirage Milan BR placement, it is to under powered at 9.7 having no flares and bad missiles.
@Nofwild IS3 is fine where it is, definite skill issue.
@CaringThunder21 you cope with mirage
@Nofwild cope
Reconsider is3 placement it’s op
Q: will you ever add mission editors for army/naval vehicles?
Imperial Japanese plane actually have good technology. I still remember American pilot say if Zero actually can outperformed Hellcat, Corsair, and some american plane.
They have good technology. But lack of good tactics
I love some warthunder. They took wings and made into a continuous ongoing video game.
Please fix the kikka. There is no option to use the take off boosters now so sometimes I can't take off with a bomb load. The landing gear is also bugged because it rips off at high speeds despite being retracted.
J-ing out on the af at the start of the match and respawning fixes the problem!
They had one jet that had its first flight the day after Hiroshima was bombed. The project was abandoned 8 days later for obvious reasons
Thank you!
please add more experimental jets to japan.
Q: why is the EJ kai going to 11.7 despite the fact it would be horribly outclassed by everything at 12 and 11.7 due to it being a phantom?
Might be because it still has the best PD radar ingame. I still think it should be 11.3, considering its not got the agile eagle package.
Q: Will wing vapor effects be added to jets?
Wish granted
Please! Miscellaneous like this are always welcome
Q:Can you bring back those climbing the ranks videos but remastered with new updates vehicles and features. Even talk about the chinese tech tree and more ship and helicopter tech trees.
I can see the Me 262 in Japanese service, but wasn't the Komet a use-once-and-discard plane? Didn't it kill many of the German pilots who flew it?
I think you are mistaking it for the Bachem 349, the Me 163 could land like any other aircraft only without landing gear ( it had a landing skid)
The Kikka’s gunsights have always cracked me up. Cutting edge jet fighter technology gifted by Germany? Check. Gunsights? Uhhh… s t i c k
They were originally designed to be suicide aircraft. The one in the game is a fighter variant, but probably with the wrong sight
Lmao Ikr I love the thing it’s so freaking funny
Regarding the German engine, as far as I know it was actually cheaper than the Prop Engine, so It Made more Sense than Just as Last durch effort
Q: Will Ki-91 heavy bomber be added possibly that was only built 60% but why Kronshtadt was already added in because of built 10% completed?
Q: When late 1945 (262, Kikka etc.) jets will no longer be placed in cold war era jets matches?
Q: Will you add J7W Shinden with Jet Engine that never produced nor even drawn?
Well, you might make it a premium aircraft or whatever. I think Japanese need more vehicles
@John Krantz I think soon, Japan will get Mitsubishi F-2 "Viper Zero" that more or less equal to USA F-16 Agile Falcon
@Gastón Couyet "Realistic" ... Kronshtadt was never built to completion and most stats are just made up
Well, very nice video, but it doesn't explain, why the Ki-200 is placed in BR 8.7, forced to fight with the jets of the late 50's, some of them equipped with AIM-9 missles. And this is the case when she isn't even uptiered.
F104 fight with F14。Japanese aircraft don't have any distractors before f4。This is how they make you pay for a premium account
THANKS WAR THUNDER IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A VIDEO LIKE THIS FOR QUITE SOME TIME IT BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES.
same
Not exactly like the German Meseersmchitt 163 Komet or 262. They did used the German's jet technology,
The MXY-7 OHKA.
The German me262 is the first jet in world War 2
Q: When kikka will be fixed and will spawn on airfield with booster without need to wait half minute to respawn again? Its bugged for more then year
Ikr! Plus the gear glitch
Warthunder ist das realistische panzer Spiel was es zur Zeit gibt, und ich zocke es gerne und viel :). Ich hoffe es kommen noch viele mehr panzer/flugzeuge/Schiffe/hubschrauber/boote.
Not only that they lacked time, they also lacked resources
Yep. Japan is kind of resource poor. (Was a major reason for their war in the first place.)
And resources are kind of hard to come by when the US navy is putting a strangle hold on your economy.
I wish I could fly the Kikka again. But now, it just rips its landing gear after take off in flight with the gear up.
Just imagine if WW2 started in the 1960s or 70s
Player: oh no im out of ammo
God: my son... You are the ammo
Player: you are right god ... BANZAI!!!!
Last time I checked the Kikka was bugged in Air RB.
yeah i wish it wasn’t
La meilleure façon de descendre une forteresse volante était de l'attaquer de face.... Au canon. De 30 il me semble...
Please make the Yamato battleship playable in-game 🥺
awesome japanese technology
Gaijin can you fix the japanese gunner textures? They are still bugged. Also some rank 4 Japan planes are overtiered, most noticeably J2M3 and J2M5, the J7W1 too.
Hey would you bring town the ki200 so it can be playable and repair the landing gear of the kikka because we have to j out every time at the beginning of a game ? Thanks
4:31 imagine dying in a horrible crash in an experimental vehicle, and some guy in a game recreates it for visual effect. Fuckin wild😂
5.6K Thumbs Up + Mine! 👍. You're welcome! Thanks for the fun, digital video recording! 🎬✌️🖖🙏🤓🤠😎
Notes: I just subscribed! Your approach is more fun than that of shows that I've seen on, "History", and other sources like that one!
And so the RY bombers we have in game are pure paper with no actual piston engine models in game.
Oh God they even mentioned the biggest disgrace and paper plane of WT :D
At least it was a veeeery short mention.
"japanese jets of ww2"
the thumbnail has a rocket plane and only one jet fighter
@Brox_guy the kikka was developed independently to the me 262, not really a copy more like same conclusions
@HerraTohtori yes
And its an me 262 ( a german plane)
I actually agree
Plz fix the aim-9L its way overpowered now. If u get one launched at u from behind its a death sentence. but the worst part is that countermessures are useless even when you maneuver.
.. i can’t believe i’m actually learning stuff from war thunder. a game. WAR THUNDER.
I know you guys get petitioned all the time, but when are we finally going to see ejection seats ? Combined with a higher reward for saving the pilot it could stop players from blindly going down with their planes shooting wildly rather than being sensible and bailing out.
Q: will you add the B-52 stratofortres to the game?
Well one japanese rocket powered aircraft saw service, the Ohka.
From the start of the video, I can tell these are the German's Me 262 and the Me 163 of which Germany gave their build plans to Japan.
@ebn hahn they did, but they transported them on plane and on submarine, and the submarine was sunk, so they had to heavily improvise
日本語字幕欲しい
i want japanese subtitles
Please, just don't "ostwind II" japanese jet bombers. Add a note in ingame encyclopedia and leave it at that. They're already having to exist with armor piercing bombs that do nothing:(
The first Japanese jets were just the Japanese Air Force saying “hey Germany, is it ok if I copy your homework but I change it up a bit so no one notices?”
lil bro they got the german to help them with the blueprint your knob
Can you give us tips and tricks for PVE Helicopter battle in all tier?
Why have you murdered the kikka’s performance and removed the rocket boosters?
bro the Italy version of bf109 f4 has neplam but the German version doesn't have
We need the guys that provides the Sekrit dokuments for japan to extend the tech tree!
Give us the OHKA for a dropped weapon for bombers
Japanese jets of ww2. At a br where they are up against a 10s.
When is the kikka going to be fixed?? It’s boosters have been bugged for quite some time now.
can we talk about the japanese f104 being at 10.7 with only aim9p's? seriously how is it 10.7 when the a5c is 10.0 with matra magic 1's and the a-10 and a-6e TRAM are at 10.0. it literally makes 0 sense.
Wish Japan had those forum and reddit guys with sekrit dokumentz to help them out with 163
We used to have someone(Mai) until Gaijin fucked up with the Ho-Ri and they basically got bullied into leaving.
Man I wish we could get the Ki-201 Fire Dragon
At least the engine was built so I guess according to the fourm it's an incomplete prototype so possible?
I want it to, but yeah... In WT we only get at least "1 complete prototype to mass produce" for tanks and aircraft & "laid down to complete" for ships... R2Y2 V1-3 Keiun sadly the only design project that uses the jet engine, upgraded the "Recon" R2Y1 Keiun, so most of the players or I hear rumors that the aircraft will be removed from the game(except players already researched).. so only a chance "never" to get the Ki-201 Karyū...
Q:are you going to change br decompression (in a new update)
war thunder needs a complete BR over hall and thats a fact
How Models are In WT: China copy paste, Russian is op
Oh man being main japan and use early jets is PAIN
Q: What Is the best air to air missile for dog fights?
@Galaxy Except it tends to miss on it's own, goes for flares literally all the time, and even unguided rockets sometimes.
definitely SRAAM, it may be hard to get within range, but once you do, there is no escape.
Thanks so much
@Sebastian The Seal the 9L is a better missile than the R-60. But *for dogfights withing 1km*, the R-60 is better.
Don't listen to these guys, the Aim9L is the best ir missile, the r60m is really flare hungry, the 9L has *some* flare resistance. If we're talking radar It might be the AIM7M.
i have a fact for yall: the jets are the me 163 and the me 262 but japanese roundels
pls tho dont remove the R2Y familly of jets even tho they didnt existed on models they arent op and japan lacks in many areas in the tech tree every aircraft in the series is serious gap fillers
New war thunder video makes any day better
@Dio Brando No it wasn't, the Germans stripped and burned out the tank. The soviets only got a shell.
@Dio Brando the meteor mk3 can't compete at 7.3. the sea meteor is the same br and better in almost every way
I can make a mach 10 jet in my life time
But I just did not have anytime😂
Lower the br on Japanese planes. They are way too high because people don't understand not to turn fight them. Plus frontline bombers should be much lower.
please update on submarines
Why is it that all Japanese planes are all styck with practice rounds instead of actual armor piercing rounds like every other country?
The Japanese Army and Navy 30mm cannons in-game make ZERO 😂 sense.
Their stats are all over the place with some shells reaching 920m/s while the rest have 710m/s.
Than you have HEF shells with 35g TNT but HEF-T with 35g PETN, why would the tracerless shell have the same amount of explosive?
Three explosive shells all with three different fuze senstivities. Either 0.8mm, 0.3mm or 0.1mm. Who came up with such messy values?
are all the us jetplanes that actually were made in the game - like the prop slash jetpowered planes meant againt japan -
Their repair costs are too high for them to be enjoyable.
What about Kugisho "Ohka" Model 43 Otsu special pourpuse fighter?
Japan had only a couple of prototype jet and rocket propelled aircraft. NONE reached operational status. Like Germany, they had some advanced designs that did not have a snowflake's chance in hell of ever being built, much less seeing actual service. The Kikka did see limited (and remarkably unsuccessful) use but while it was winged and powered by rockets, it was a guided bomb (guided by a human on a one-way trip). Their jet and rocket powered aircraft prototypes only JUST qualify as "WWII" aircraft as they had their few test flights in the last few days of the war.
It's also likely the Japanese did not have supersonic wind tunnels as the Germans did
The LaGG-3 and P-51 absolutely did not have any features of a jet aircraft other than features shared by all aircraft. Equating the Meredith effect to a jet turbine is just wrong.
🤓
Ah yes, run out of ammo and you become ammo.
