Oh boy, I watched it on KZclip. I forget the title of the video. However, I think they might have been, Wrangler Jeans from Walmart. Give me a moment I will fing the video.
This home is beautiful and well built. There's no comparison to an average "stick built home" and this one-especially if a tornado were involved. If I did make a change I'd address the amount of weld on the smaller pillar brackets-it's insufficient considering the size of the pillar(s). The seams should have been fully welded [imo], like the large brackets were. Other than that, this homes construction is like that of a stone castle, and could withstand most anything. *Well done.*
This is the first time I ever saw a post and beam so large going up building a frame work for Large building and I must say, you guys are doing an excellent job. This house I estimate to be a very large one at that.
Awesome video! They are absolute masters of their craft. How they worked out all the cuts and intricate alignments was mind-boggling! My only complaint was the lack of consistent eye protection when doing woodworking. You are only born with one pair of eyes per person for your whole life.
Welcome to: "the OSHA effect" where people are convinced life must be risk free-if it's not they're being neglected and owed something. This thinking reflects decades of slow government indoctrination, whose most effective tools are: *fines, fear,* guards that impede productivity, and wall posters. Involve the government if the plan includes foolish failure; simply ask those needing to purchase a new gas can i.e., those regulated by: *EPA/OSHA/DOT...* Rather, lets introduce *common sense* as the means to protect and educate people vs using government officials to write laws while having *no* practical experience/insight.
and the scaffolding around the house for safety, and the safety belts on the roof, the gloves, the safety shoes, and the helmet ON THE HEAD, and the goggles. these things are very important in a construction site what this video just doesn't highlight and damages the viewer. the work is done above all for safety for those who work there, and not for timing what to do.
This 70 years old American absolutely loves the style craftsmanship of the new Post and Beam Log Home in the Slovenia countryside. It rivals what I see here in the Great North West here in Oregon.
2:19:04 I'm not a builder. But what's the advantage/disadvantage for having those huge posts on the corner, at only a quarter of the base-foundation? To have an aesthetic look of a log, but not really using the log?
Согласен с тобой абсолютно. Из очень хорошего материала построили полное дерьмо. Все стыки на подкладках и шурупах. Это бред. Для сравнения японские мастера и их соединения. Вот там качество.
That's a beautiful place, and very high end house! This is the first time I consider chainsaw a precision instrument. These guys are so precise they could brush their teeth with the chainsaw. 🤣
I also watch another log house builder and they use large faced wood mallets to settle logs into place I hope those steel sledge hammers didnt leave marks but very nice build looks great.
This is a strong house and interesting to watch but I was so disappointed when the video ended long before the house was complete. Is there a part 2 that shows the rest of the build and finish???
Here would be my problem: logs that length and girth are scarce in my neck of the woods. For me to build a similar structure would cost me my first and second born. The end structure would be a million dollar home. Nonetheless a beautiful build.
I'm no expert, but why wasn't this posted with a full completion, especially the top level. Unless this large area is not intended for living quarters. And if so, couldn't you fill floor gaps with thinner strip wood then overlap with plywood for safe walk? Otherwise, I loved watching complete, respectfully. 👍
What are the tiny insects crawling all over the wood in the initial assembly? What a shame if you did all this work, and then termites destroyed it 😧 😔 Very neat video
The very best post and beam construction video ever made on the internet. Professional, educational and beautiful craftsmanship. God bless.

what a wonderful crane you have. Loved your craftsmanship throughout the build.

You are all great craftsman. I especially like the outstanding ability you guys have with chainsaws.

These guys are absolute masters with chain saws not to mentrion the other tools! My compliments, gentlemen!👍

Oh, the patience it takes to fix something like this...just incredible
Lindo trabalho, gostaria de ver a casa terminada.
Ellerinize saglik,çok iyi iş çıkardınız.ekibiniz bu işi biliyor.başarılar.
Do the cross sections keep the roof from falling inward or being peeled back or both?
These guys are precise, tons of experience. These guys are on the money, I am really impressed with their work. 👍
Were you impressed even if someone fell off the roof? they're just unconscious that's what they are.

that is the testing part of the build! :)
Super video. Svaka čast. Profesionalci, nema šta. Bravo
A true craftsmen…. Congratulations guys!
Well done. Very professional service.
Y'all are the true definition of carpenters!!!
Wow this project started so good with lots of craft and skill and then somewhere down the line it turned into a standard timber frame construction

These workers have excellent workmanship
Beautiful work.
Ljudi su neverovatni...precizni,savrseno uigrani...bravo... :)
Great series , two questions 1 - what country was it built ? 2- how much does it cost for completed house ?
As many trees as u can cut down so a lot of time
What kind of wood are you using and how long did it season. Beautiful job.
Spruce and fir, we work with fresh wood, seasoning in our country attracts insects and worms inside the logs.
I also watch another log house builder and they use large faced wood mallets to settle logs into place I hope those steel sledge hammers didnt leave marks but very nice build looks great.
Отличная работа. Мне очень понравились. На видео очень быстро. Сколько времени затратил этот проект. Спасибо. Желаю удачи.
how an incredible house work! God bless.
Sungguh kagum dengan hasil karya kalian guys.
Beautiful job.
great video! one thing is strange - dont you think untreated wool without film will not smell inside?
Beautiful job guys
великолепно!!! просто перфект!!!
This is a strong house and interesting to watch but I was so disappointed when the video ended long before the house was complete. Is there a part 2 that shows the rest of the build and finish???

You guys are amazing!!

Beautiful video and beautiful house!!!
Thank you so much!

Just curious what is the total cost to build this home? Including the site ground prep and foundation?
We don't know because we do only the wooden part of the build.
Impressive work
Fantastic video! great content without talking! Kudos!
Very nice job!
The way this is edited makes it feel like just nonsense is happening and yet an awesome house is coming together
Tolle Konstruktion....tolle saubere Arbeit..
Great build, beautiful logs/wood. Ropes and safety harness for the kid. Please!
Thank you. How much of the video have you watched?
Wow just wow, yes this deserves a that kind of music, what a palace. The craftsmanship is awesome!
What music did you enjoy the most?
Are you going to post a finished video of this one showing the exterior and interior.
Great job. Congrats.
Lord that roof is absolutely beautiful! Can someone estimate how much this house would cost?
@Joy Baskerville Brother, I don't build house's. How come you asked me that?
A 3/2
How much would it cost me to get a small house built by you?
Muy bueno. Muchas felicidades
Muchas gracias.
I am very happy to see you working assisted by Cran, success is always friends.
Beautifully done...
Must've cost a fortune though...
I had no idea that sheep wool was used as insolation!

Nos alegra que te guste.

Where are you located? What is the liquid being sprayed on the logs?
Gledam video kad cujem balkanski jezik, svaka cast momci.
For sure this is not American Construction it’s great quality !
Cool build, is there a part of this video
What type of crane are you using at the job site?
Beautiful
Also mention the construction cost and area covered.
Un Opera d'Arte davvero Spettacolare!!

Wonderful building on what seems like toothpicks at best why no strong foundation ?
Bravo Great work top. 👍👍👍👏👏
You guys scare me with how accurately you make cuts with those chain saws ik I’d be over cutting every time 😅😂😂
I did not know that such huge trees still grow on planet earth.
Siete di una bravura incredibile
Парни, а что за кран у вас такой очень интересный?
