Honestly, it's like she said. The husbands never want the pet but then the pet does something cute and you know.... he wants the pet. Happened to my parents too when my mom brought home a dog.
To this day nothing made me laugh more as a child than going to my friends house and hearing his parrot re-enact an argument his parents had the night before. Complete with 100% accuracy in regards to an impression of the person speaking and all the swear words used. Amazing creatures that can embarrass you in a heartbeat 😂
I love this, I also had a rescue parrot who’d been abused. He was a Timneh African Grey and a bit wild. I was a child when he came to us and he was so in tune with me. Sadly, after having him for 20 years, I found him dead whilst I was pregnant. I was devastated and wish my daughter could’ve met him. She loves watching videos of him, and I recently had him tattooed on my leg so that in some way, he’s still with me.
@Louise Galluzzo Aww. I totally understand. My little dog died almost 4 years ago and yet I still can't quite bear to put his little blanket away and bury his ashes. Animals can be so wise and so full of love. You're blessed if you have one as a special friend.
@Kelly P There always have been some who thaught and told about the end of days being neigh since writing had been invented and most probably even many tens of thousand years before since the dawn of mankind when we first started to form complex sentences.
That is just a downright happy, content birb. When they lay on their backs, wholeheartedly in such a vulnerable position; that's the most profound trust they can give you. My little green turkey of 15 years does that fun nonsense with us and we just love her.
One of my earliest memories as a kid is the Parrot my Grandpa had, Elmer. Elmer lived to be almost 70 years old, and was a VERY smart and talkative bird.
It's always the "crazy" ones that end up being the most affectionate and full of personality. Vandal looks like such a sweetheart that was fortunate enough to be given a better life. His old owner was most likely abusive. Poor thing.
I love that she is literally letting her kids know he’s part of the family, for as long as there are members of the family!! Awesome that they’re being raised with him!
I finished watching this video with tears rolling down my face. A beautiful story with a beautiful bird and a beautiful woman. I am so glad that you found each other and you are both getting back to a better life. Losing your mother is hard. I lost mine recently. Love to you your family and Vandal from me in Scotland.
so many people got parrots knowing absolutely nothing about them. it’s a tough animal to look after, especially such a big species like makaw. that’s why there are so many birds in shelters
Perhaps they were having difficulties, perhaps they died, perhaps they turned out to be allergic (happened to be the case with me)... but yeah, perhaps they were inconsiderate dickheads who thought of Vandal as a an accessory and got bored. Things happen. Glad in this case he found an excellent family for, hopefuly, the next few decades. 😄
Hilarious footage of Vandal looking at himself in the coffee table. All pets have to choose their owners, it's the only way that they can bond with you. I wanted a cat from the shelter in 2007, my husband wasn't keen. However he came to look with me and a tiny kitten who was sleeping woke, detached herself from other kittens, jumped/fell from a chair and clambered up my husband's leg. That was the one we had to have. In 2015 he was sick and had to spend 6 nights in hospital. Every night she would do a careful tour of the house looking for him before subsiding on his side of the bed. On the 7th day when he finally came home she couldn't believe it was him. She ran to him at the door mewing loudly, he crouched down and she stood up with her paws on his knee purring and telling him not to go away again and leave her. It was so touching. He is her person. In 2022, 16 years later she's still with us, ruling the roost.
So happy that Nadia and family realize parrots have a very long lifespan and are already planning for pet parent transfer when the time comes. One of the saddest videos I've ever seen was made in a sanctuary for birds who had imprinted and then been abandoned. The images of those poor - quite literally insane - birds still haunt me. Much respect to this family!
First, thank you for the rescue! He needed you and you needed him. I’m so very sorry for your loss. In time it will heal. Animals are so sentient, they know more than we give them credit for. Vandal is a pretty chicken! I love the shot of your husband sitting in his lawn chair grinning - priceless! Vandal loves you and I love that he protects you. The - no shoes in the house is a good one! I’ll have to train my cat! Thank you for sharing Vandal with us! A match made in heaven! Love love ❤️
This is so heart warming and sweet. I am in tears now. Thank you, for take care of Vandal and give him the love and the home he deserve! Animals are so good and kind - more than humans. That's so sad. Every being deserves love, kindness and respect! God bless you! ❤️ 🙏
I had a bare eyed cockatoo he would put his head on my cheek when I cried and and the tears would go off his feathers , he’d make a cooing sound of care . Yes birds can be the most lovable pets . They are amazing and I’m glad you have him and he has you all thank you for loving him and caring for him .
What a beautiful story. Once you have a parrot, you will never look at birds the same way again. They are very special creatures. I lost my Eclectus Parrot on January 13th and miss him terribly. These little guys enrich our lives in so many ways and are so intuitive. I’m so glad you found each other.
This is one of the most amazing stories I've ever heard, mccaws are so beautiful and not cheap to buy how could someone get one and then just abandon it. People can be so cruel but you guys are angels
I am totally ugly crying right now--the bond you all have is so sweet!! It's so refreshing to know there are still good folks like you guys in the world. And I believe you're absolutely right; you guys rescued each other. It was a Godwink 🥰
Parrots are very intelligent and cute. I'm very glad that you rescued him and you and your husband treat him like a son. He looks so happy. Animals teach us love, compassion, friendship and gratitude.
You did such a good thing, for yourself & Vandal. The empathy animals can teach us is boundless & your vid shows some of that. He looked really awful at that shelter, but what a transformation! I may look into this myself now...thanks for sharing.
People don’t understand that animals can love us like they love their own parents. And just like us when our parents leave it makes us incredibly depressed. I wish ppl understood how precious animals are. Such a good family and amazing pretty chicken!
I’m so happy he finally has you and Shame on those rescue people for saying “he’s crazy, you don’t want him”. That’s just awful. So glad you took a chance with him 💜 He’s so happy now
The rescue people were 100% correct to warn her like that. Large parrots like this can often be quite crazy, and when they're crazy, they're quite dangerous, too. They aren't like cats and dogs, where you might get a scratch or a nip. Large parrots can and do rip the cheek off your face and take off a part of your finger. Ever used a nut cracker to try to open a brazil nut? Blue Macaws do that with their beaks. That's how strong they are.
thats because alot of people want the perfect pet and return or surrender ones that need extra or have some issues-those who dont mind would take the step further and question or be ok with it.
What a wonderful story! I'm glad you found each other. Once I was visiting the bird room in my favorite store and there was a sad looking Orange winged Amazon in a cage in a corner. The store owner told me that they'd never be able to sell him because he was too mean and attacked all of them. So she warned me to stay away from him because he hated women. Long story short, he picked me and three days later I bought him. Now almost 32 years later we're still together and I thank him every day for knowing that we belonged together! So yeah, parrots know who they need to rescue! 💚💙💛
Love this! Hanging upside down screaming. Oh, Vandal, you're a heart breaker for sure. And he can tell the children the bad words they must never say. He's co-parenting! What a special guy. ❤
Vandal is so sweet! I'm glad you found each other! I'm so glad Vandal found a loving home and you and your family got a little pal for life. It's very special when a bird chooses you; birds seem to know who's kind and loving.
Thank you for this heartwarming story. I am so glad this beautiful parrot has found happiness and a loving family to care for him. I grew up a dog lover as we had a few dogs growing up, later in life every girlfriend I dated and lived with as well as my ex-wife all had cats, so I adapted to cats which fit my personality very well. I never had a bird as a family member and I have no idea whatsoever how to care for them or what their behavior patterns are. I do find myself watching videos about Ravens though which started after watching Game of Thrones.
That is so sweet. It always saddens me to learn people abandoning their pets. The fact that you already have committed to this bird for years to come is very comforting. Thanks.
@devilmecare death of owner doesn't cover even a fraction of the pets in shelters. The main reason is the pet became an inconvenience. Also, please people don't BUY pets, but ADOPT. Don't get pets that can/will outlive you, it's selfish.
@Kathleen King what if it was a child? I'm sorry but that's not an excuse. I can't believe how many people find that excuse acceptable. Life can have nsny tragedies. There are no guarantees. People shouldn't get a pet if any inconvenience in life will result in abandonment. Just like with children, if you can't commit 100% through thin and thick then don't get any. This is simple. Animals are not toys.
@bel arte yeah its best that hes not with those other owners anymore. also, do they really live to be 80 years? i know they can live to be 50+ but i didn't think any parrots live to be 80.
Beautiful story and it sounds as if you both saved each other. I just lost our younger of two dogs and my heart is broken right now. She was so devoted and slept with me. 💔 It really takes time to get over loss for some of us. My Mom died in 2012 & it was about 10 years before I smiled again. God bless you and your whole wonderful family 🙏
Oh this is so beautiful, such a beautiful story and outcome! I wish every bird in need as Vandal was could meet someone like this woman, his human mom!, to take them home and love them!💛
Uhm, yea...did you even listen to the video? Were you paying attention? Can you comprehend the english language? When she said that she let her daughter know that if she parishes...then her daughter agreed!?Were you just trying to impress people? Like...I know more then the lady with the parrot! Look at me...I am so smart. *shrug*
I'm glad that you were brought into each others lives at just the right time. You could see that he was stressed with all the bald spots he had. Thank you for being awesome and giving him a good loving forever home. Peace and love to you and your family 💚💙💜
I may have written before. But I just love watching how much you care for him & how much happiness you have brought into this little parrots life. You were meant to be together. So precious 💕.
This is such a great story! Everyone should watch this~ so important with such incredible owners. You are an inspiration to others and Vandal will be your legacy, to your children and beyond.
Okay this one has me balling like a baby 🥺. When she thanks him for saving her and all of the sweet amazing things she said about how much he means to her is EXACTLY what I needed to see & hear today. I wish all humans could love other humans and animals this way. Our world needs this kind of love so badly. Thank you so much for this most amazing and beautiful story 🤍🕊️🤍
You should write about her for a book. I wss glued to just this short story. I. Sure others would be as well. Ive grown up nor meeting any Parrots, Im sure other Americans have as well. A book could teach all of us that they are sweet and need protections
Awwe, ftom another parrot Mom, I send you comforting hugs & prayers. There are many people that are caring souls out there. It just seems like they're not around when they're needed the most. I pray you have met some by now. My parrot is a Yellow Nape Amazon & she picked me when she was still a baby & on baby food. I believe she was taken by poachers from the jungles of Panama. I weaned her & I made all her food & hand fed her. When I'm not feeling well she knows before anyone else & lets them know by saying awwe 2 times with a sad tone in her voice & she wants to sit with me & give me hugs that is just so sweet & gentle. My parrot Crystal is now about 25 years old. I can do most anything with her, but when I groom her I have to make sure it's after she is totally wet. I file her beak to prevent it from splitting & I file her nails when they become needle sharp. She has all of her wing feathers & she doesn't like to fly, but I have her fly to her cage to keep her muscles strong & healthy. She's spoiled & knows both my name & her Daddy's name & when she has to go potty she says poo poo & we put her back in the cage & say poo poo & she does her business there 🤭 people are always surprised to hear her tell us when she has to go & tgen goes when I say poo poo? When she was about 1 1/2 - 2 years old she had a terrible nightmare & was hitting one side of the cage & then the other I ran downstairs and calmly called her name & uncovered her cage to find her on the bottom of the cage with her chest heaving up & down. I opened her door & she ran to me making sad little whimpering sounds. I held her in a gentle hug against my chest & kissed the side of her face & kept telling her everythings ok now, Mom's here, you're alright, you just had a nightmare. I stayed with her for about 3 hours till she looked up at me & leaned her head on the side of my face. I knew she was ok and I put her back in her cage & sat there till I saw that she was ready to go to sleep. I think she witnessed something terrible when she was just a baby & it just surfaced at that time. She's never had another nightmare since & she's as sweet as can be & yes she talks and eats with us & has naps when we do. She's quiet when were sleeping & we let her slerp a bit more while I get breakfast ready so we can all eat togetger & I uncover her cage & lean in & get my morning kisses first hers & then Dads. Then we all eat our breakfaat together. She's basically a quiet bird compared to many other birds & I think it's because we have a fairly quiet lifestyle. She wants me now, so I hope you have a wonderful life & find kindred souls to make your life a happier one. God bless 🙏 you ❣🙋♀️
I've had so many pets in my time from rescuing them to having my own. Lost my property and home during the 2008 fiasco and had to find homes for my rescued ones and my pets. The toughest thing about it all was, losing my beloved animals. They too were my family. They helped me a lot with my PTSD from my experiences in the Marine Corps. I hope one day to have a stable environment to take care of them again. You have been blessed to have this wonderful and amazing family member. Thank you for caring.
WOW!Nadia I want to say thank you for taking Vandal on and giving him a great life.I have a beautiful blue and gold called Rufus and he’s 8 years old in July and I’ve had him since he was 9 months old.People take these intelligent, emotional creatures on and don’t know what they’re doing and that’s why they end up in sanctuaries and it upsets me that they can be so ignorant to the parrots needs.Fortunately for some of them they’re people like you Nadia that come to their rescue. You’re an angel.😇😇😇
3:02 Sometimes it's astonishing isn't it? When my grandpa died and I was just so lost and crying, I took a walk and came by some horses. One just locked her eyes on me, ran to the fence and pressed her head into my belly. She let me pet her and cry and that felt so comforting...thank you sweet horse ❤
Yes it’s so amazing and mysterious that they know EVEN MORE THAN WR KNOW ABOUT OURSELVES. Sometimes, I have found that the most “ discerning” and caring animals, do not live as long. It must take a lot out of them. ❤
Day my dad died I was sitting outside his place crying my eyes out and along comes their charming little cat who cuddles up to me till I could stand and go help my mom. That cat now visits my house a few streets away from where she saw me cry. Think she is checking on me. Animals just know what we need. So I thank your horse pal and hope you are doing well.
So interesting how parrot's pupils "zoom-in" when they speak / repeat words back. Almost as if they are remembering it visually, or having a physiological response to the memory - as if to relive it. We have so much more of a connection with animals than I think we realize. Anyway, amazing story here. Trying to find some happiness in this world
"They choose you", this is 100% true. I used to have a parrot, I was his owner for years, untill a neighbor's granddaughter wanted to pet him. My parrot just fell in love, climbed on her shoulder and got upset when she left. I was sad to let it go after so many years, but I knew they were soulmates.
I just hope she educated herself about all proper parrot care before committing to such a complex animal. Impulsively adopting an animal is never good, no matter how bonded they are to you.
@Lizy Ave the thing here is to understand that your concept of “pets” is kinda wrong. They are companions, emotions of their own and as any living being even if treated kindly and lived somewhere, you eventually connect with someone and that becomes “your” person.
It was totally right, generous, considerate and unselfish of you to respect that parrot's choice. They are, after all, sentient beings and do feel love.
Totally amazing parrot for sure. So glad you were able to adopt him and he is now forever happy with all of your family. How sweet. God's blessings to you ALL.
no surprise that Vandal won papa's heart! those little endearing calls for papa melts everyone's heart immediately. I am very happy for you, Vandal, for your family loves you so very much 🥰
This is a wonderful, beautiful story of how one person's trash is truly another's treasure. People see these large tropical birds on TV or in movies and think they want one, not realizing this is a lifetime commitment to a pet who is basically an eternal 2-year-old that needs constant attention and stimulation.
Thank you for rescuing your beautiful bird. Yes it breaks my heart seeing birds being abandoned 💔. I hold my little conures closer. I lost my mom as well and my 12 year old GCC conure knows too! Birds are life long pets and you can't get up on them because they never give up on you. God bless you and your family. Happy holidays and a happy 2023!
You and your baby were ment to be together.....he has brought great happiness to you and your family. And I'm sure he is grateful for you adopting him and giving him a loving home. God bless you and your family.
This is the first time I've ever seen a feather-picker recover from that and let their plumage grow back ! Damn, she did an awesome job of making a home for Vandal.
This is very heartwarming. It's funny how she called him a chicken. (I have a Polish crossbeak chicken who is an indoor bird. She flies, will come when we call her like a little puppy, and she loves riding around the house on her humans- she acts like she can steer us. She's my "wonky parrot".)
This is hilarious. When I first got my dachshund, he was the first dog I owned. He would also throw tantrums if I left him at home alone and would tear up the entire living room to let me know he wasn't happy. Too cute that your bird has so much personality.
I love that your husband's heart melted when your parrot said "Papa" the first time.
@One God Loving Patriotic American how rude
@Sandy Allen Repent to Our Precious Beloved Heavenly Father for all of the sins that you commit against him God Bless
@Ila Hilda Sissac 9
It’s so sweet! ❤

They are the definition of "little pitchers have big ears." And mouths.

Anything I can follow you on so we can be friends?
Порой животные умнее человека. У них хватает мозгов не делать себе татуировки. Как бы странно это не звучало.
Bless you, you gave him a good life.
Awww big hugs
@Louise Galluzzo Aww. I totally understand. My little dog died almost 4 years ago and yet I still can't quite bear to put his little blanket away and bury his ashes. Animals can be so wise and so full of love. You're blessed if you have one as a special friend.

@Kelly P There always have been some who thaught and told about the end of days being neigh since writing had been invented and most probably even many tens of thousand years before since the dawn of mankind when we first started to form complex sentences.

What species was he?
Wow! 70!! ♥️♥️

I finished watching this video with tears rolling down my face. A beautiful story with a beautiful bird and a beautiful woman. I am so glad that you found each other and you are both getting back to a better life. Losing your mother is hard. I lost mine recently. Love to you your family and Vandal from me in Scotland.
I wanted to hear him swear
Same here! What a beautiful soul - inside and out! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Me too. I’m still wiping them from my eyes. 😢💙
Yeah me too, I had to grab some tissues. Lovely video, parrot, and this woman has pure heart
why wouldn’t anyone want him? what a personality. this story brought tears to my eyes. love him!! I’m so happy you have him now 💖
@riK indeed! But i think the OP meant why wouldn't anyone at the rescue want him, since the rescue person was saying that about this parrot.
so many people got parrots knowing absolutely nothing about them. it’s a tough animal to look after, especially such a big species like makaw. that’s why there are so many birds in shelters

Loved this bird and the way it chatted to you was so sweet
@Candace C no problem 😘
@Trish Allen Oh ok thanks, I would have picked that up if they worded it different, it would of made sense to me, thanks
It will never heal; you'll just learn to cope with it. Thats something I've learned.
So tender. Love that you & family love him & he loves you.🙏💖🙏

What a transition for the bird! You can definitely see he is feeling better. Two soul mates found each other!
What a BEAUTIFUL story! I'm thrilled that Vandal got saved and he saved right back! He wasn't "crazy"; he was wounded and now, he's healed! 🥰
He looks much better than when you got him. Bless your heart for taking him in!
Such a sweet and heartwarming story. Looks like he picked not only mommy but daddy, too, lol. Wishing you a wonderful life with Vandal.❤️
@Lami Just like you 🤓

Whew! This is the very definition of a heart warming story.
I am totally ugly crying right now--the bond you all have is so sweet!! It's so refreshing to know there are still good folks like you guys in the world. And I believe you're absolutely right; you guys rescued each other. It was a Godwink 🥰

Thank you for sharing this with us ❤️
same, the love in this ❤
I did too.

@Me Here I don't think they were just being honest. "He's crazy" is an honest opinion, but "you don't want him" is more of a suggestion.
Maybe also the bird rescue person said it sort of jokingly.😉

Thank you for this heartwarming story. I am so glad this beautiful parrot has found happiness and a loving family to care for him. I grew up a dog lover as we had a few dogs growing up, later in life every girlfriend I dated and lived with as well as my ex-wife all had cats, so I adapted to cats which fit my personality very well. I never had a bird as a family member and I have no idea whatsoever how to care for them or what their behavior patterns are. I do find myself watching videos about Ravens though which started after watching Game of Thrones.
What a beautiful sight to see a happy macaw, so well taken care of! Vandal was so sad and neglected and now he is a magnificent macaw. Superb job!!!
That is so sweet. It always saddens me to learn people abandoning their pets. The fact that you already have committed to this bird for years to come is very comforting. Thanks.
@TangerineTangerine leaving him at a shelter was probably the best thing to do. Some people just aren't fit to care for parrots.
In this case - and maybe many others - the abandoning meant the parrot had a proper life - instead of lifelong isolation-prison in a cage.
@bel arte yeah its best that hes not with those other owners anymore. also, do they really live to be 80 years? i know they can live to be 50+ but i didn't think any parrots live to be 80.
You’re an amazing “Bird Mom”! You get Vandal and he gets you! Enjoy your long lives together.
This channel never fails to put a smile on my face & shows there are still some good people in the world. I need to go cuddle my cat now
Beautiful story and it sounds as if you both saved each other. I just lost our younger of two dogs and my heart is broken right now. She was so devoted and slept with me. 💔
It really takes time to get over loss for some of us. My Mom died in 2012 & it was about 10 years before I smiled again. God bless you and your whole wonderful family 🙏
You & your husband are the perfect parrot parents. Your love is so beautiful & just what he needed. Thank you for taking such gentle care of him.
‘I like being surrounded by birds’
So cute 🥰
There's nothing stronger than the bond between good people and animals.
Birds take bonding to another level. :)
Oh this is so beautiful, such a beautiful story and outcome! I wish every bird in need as Vandal was could meet someone like this woman, his human mom!, to take them home and love them!💛
Love this story. Thank you for rescuing him and it looks like he rescued you all too. So sweet ❤
That bird will outlive you so make sure your children are ready to take him. What a heart-warming story. God bless you ❤️
@Stephen Bull chill
*shrug*
Очень рада, что вы нашли друг друга!
the bird calling him papa is so cute 😭
I'm glad that you were brought into each others lives at just the right time. You could see that he was stressed with all the bald spots he had. Thank you for being awesome and giving him a good loving forever home. Peace and love to you and your family 💚💙💜
They are a sweet match.
Ahhh I am glad that you have found him. He will live a full life knowing that you, your husband, and children adopted him. 🤹♀️💐
I may have written before. But I just love watching how much you care for him & how much happiness you have brought into this little parrots life. You were meant to be together. So precious 💕.
Amazing story. Birds are more incredible than I imagined!!!! Had me in tears. Thank you for educating us.
This is such a great story! Everyone should watch this~ so important with such incredible owners. You are an inspiration to others and Vandal will be your legacy, to your children and beyond.
As an animal advocate & lover of them this story made me cry..your story melted my heart. Beautiful.
@arriesone1
Thank you Dear heart ❤🤗❣
@Bruce Radzwion
Thank you so much for your kind words 🤗 🥰 youre a gentle loving soul❣
@Robyn M That is a lovely, lovely story.❤
This was a tearjerker 💞
Thank you that you rescued him 💛💙. He is so happy now and has a wonderful life.
Love this story! Such a lucky bird to be adopted by a loving family. ❤️❤️❤️
Animals know. They just know.
wow
We had a Scarlet McCaw in the 1970’s, in my teens. This brings back so many memories! Thank you, also for doing this rescue! 💕
this is so heartwarming. what a beautiful and loving family.
We had 4 birds at one time it’s a lot of work but their a joy just like she explained everything perfectly. Hi Vandal 😂🎉
Thank you so much for rescuing him! 🙏🙏
That is so big of you! My friends let one of their fave dog go to me... They said the same thing.
@Lizy Ave If you love something, set it free.
I think her mother set her up with Vandal - there are no coincidences. Cute that he calls him "Papa." He needed you as much as you needed him 💖🐦🙏💫🌎
This is so beautiful. Thank you for being kind to animals 💓
It's wonderful how animals can sense your mood and how they react to it, long live your parrot what a lovely sole it has.
Totally amazing parrot for sure. So glad you were able to adopt him and he is now forever happy with all of your family. How sweet. God's blessings to you ALL.
The world needs more animal lovers like you! Thanks!
no surprise that Vandal won papa's heart! those little endearing calls for papa melts everyone's heart immediately. I am very happy for you, Vandal, for your family loves you so very much 🥰
Aw, that’s lovely. I’m so glad he chose you, too. ❤
This is a wonderful, beautiful story of how one person's trash is truly another's treasure. People see these large tropical birds on TV or in movies and think they want one, not realizing this is a lifetime commitment to a pet who is basically an eternal 2-year-old that needs constant attention and stimulation.
Your relationship just melts my heart and makes me teary. Glad that you find each other and the whole family
Прекрасная, трогательная и самое важное счастливая история!
GOD BLESS these people for adopting these beautiful animals!!
So many feels. What a beautiful story. ❤️
You and your baby were ment to be together.....he has brought great happiness to you and your family. And I'm sure he is grateful for you adopting him and giving him a loving home. God bless you and your family.
You have a big heart! That bird needed a loving home.❤
Crazy how smart your Parrot is. Bless you for rescuing him!
Could not have gone to a better family. Thank you.
You know somebody truly loves and cares for a pet when they insure safety and security for that pet after they're gone. 💚
What a story. Vandal, nice to have such owners :)
This is the first time I've ever seen a feather-picker recover from that and let their plumage grow back ! Damn, she did an awesome job of making a home for Vandal.
That is one cool bird. You guys are lucky to have him!
That’s lovely. Thank you for adopting it, and thanks for the video.
How precious. Thank u for rescuing him❤
I love people that save animals ❤️ 💕 ♥️ 💓
Well done , I really have nothing but admiration for you and what you have done.
All animals including birds are so much more intelligent and sensitive than people give them credit for. Thank you for being one who knows. 💕
So glad you found each other, wonderful family now!! ❤️
You probably saved this birds life, he looked like his feathers were almost gone, I am so happy for both of you.
This is just so beautiful and heartwarming. Vandal rescued you and you rescued him. I've just subscribed to your channel.
This is very heartwarming. It's funny how she called him a chicken. (I have a Polish crossbeak chicken who is an indoor bird. She flies, will come when we call her like a little puppy, and she loves riding around the house on her humans- she acts like she can steer us. She's my "wonky parrot".)
I call my parrot a chicken all the time too! I didn’t know that’s a common thing amongst parrot owners lol. Cracks me up. :)
That’s wonderful 😊
Maybe you should be on geobeats!
This is hilarious. When I first got my dachshund, he was the first dog I owned. He would also throw tantrums if I left him at home alone and would tear up the entire living room to let me know he wasn't happy. Too cute that your bird has so much personality.
So true animals rescue us from depression !!!! He is adorable !!!! Papa !!!! GOD sent him on your path meant to be !!!! GOD bless you all !!!!
I had a blue & gold when I lived in Brazil. What a wonderful pet he was! So smart! Thank you for rescuing Vandal! RB
