If the singer writes an original song. Must sing with 15 seconds of the music starting. Must finish within 3 and a half minutes. Etc etc blah blah. NO freedom. Tied to a contract. Owned.
They are well-known in their own circles. Such platforms give exposure to larger audience. The social media, digital platforms like KZclip, Instagram have given access to larger audience..
And exactly why aren't we seeing more of them? Beyond talent shows is the WORLD yet no one is carrying them over into the exposure we'd sure like to be seeing.
There will NEVER be an entertainer that even comes close to Michael Jackson ... the charisma - the moves he had enthralled the world... everytime I hear this guys voice I get goosebumps same as one of the Judges... Jacksons voice was pure and smooth ... I have his Thriller album fr Canada

I have never seen this program format very well, but I confess that it is a good window for these people to have their time, to give their time to the world, showing their talent and being for once in their lives a true star even if time is short.
