She was asked and she did it for the love of a strong quarterback who listens to her every game. Thanks Jalen for acknowledging a legend Ms Anita Baker who sound amazing. ❤❤
I hate that this generation may remember her more for this performance than for her legendary career in 80's and early '90's. I saw her and Luther Vandross back in '88 and their performances were jaw dropping! Legends in their prime!!
People who know Anita Baker, know Anita Baker. She was also singing on a cold day, and I think she pulled it off really nicely. I was really happy to see this.
Who cares if she didn't hit the notes like we are accustomed! Yall better be glad she still here and standing and able to still sing...the nerve of some people! Her song "You Bring me joy" still makes me cry to this day its so heart felt❤I loves her!
@Jim Croasmun exactly right! Anita is amazing and this is what it sounds like when a talented singer sings a difficult song a cappella live off the cuff.
People aren't used to hearing the human voice with its natural imperfections because every song recorded in the last 20 years has been auto tuned to microscopic perfection or it's ran through that hideous vocoder robot voice effect. Ironically, it's Big Music that's ruined music. Soon, the music industry will use AI to write hits based on algorithms gathered from internet and social media habits but only those of the lowest common denominator of course. Something with a good beat to twerk to while chugging Red Bull.
Anita Baker turned 65 just a few days ago and can still sing and give full tour performances. Imagine how difficult of a task it is to be singing professionally for 40+ years and still be able to deliver a vocal performance. In her case, this is not even a matter of performance, it is probably more about the fact that NFC organizers recognized what a legend she is and called her out of respect first and foremost. So, when you bash her singing, and she is singing outside on a cold and windy weather, keep in mind that you are bashing the very singing that influenced generations of artists such as Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Mary J. Blige, Ledisi and tons of others. You’re dismissed. Thanks and bye.
I remember in the 80s, my niece was crazy about her music. Then as I started watching her music videos I could see why my niece was fond of her. Anita was always like polished perfection, in her video's, and the love songs she sang, was almost like she wrote the book on love. She had such deep feelings.
@Ronald W Barely noticeable is different from "she sang it straight without runs". The fact is, there were still runs...they were just not executed well.
@Mz Yo TruthNLove You need Grammys to know facts 💀 You're being overly emotional...call a spade, a spade. She added runs to the song, they just lacked precision and musicality. That obviously does not mean that this this single performance destroys Anita Baker's legacy. I highly doubt that anyone is even stating so.
Thaaaaank you Anita. Direct plain and simply beautiful. No showboating.. no additives,...no elongated notes.. no gospeling over boards. Just sing the song and move on !!! An appropiately welcomed rendition .
OMG, I hate all this for her…she’s a senior, multi-Grammy award winning legend that has an absolutely amazing body of work. If she didn’t do as well as you like in this tough song to sing so far away from the style of her own genre, so what, she did what she could with it, can’t we show her some grace? Geez 🤦🏽♀️
Anita Baker is a contralto. Wouldn't that would affect the key she chose for her rendition? The reason Anita Baker was even there was due to superfan Jalen Hurts. That was a good story.
Well I actually thought it was a beautiful version of this song and she did a wonderful job at singing our National Anthem. She sang with the pride of an American and that's what counts.
My favorite singer of all-time. For the young RnB fans who aren’t familiar with her, listen to Baby, Angel, Lead Me Into Love, Same Ol Love, and Caught in the Rapture. Unapologetic love at its finest.
As a person who has sung the National Anthem at many events, over the years, you can practice a million times and know the lyrics forward and backwards but being at a live event and on TV no less, is nerve wrecking to the point that your mind blanks out and inside you are freaking out. I think she did good. In bigger stadiums like that, it's difficult to hear yourself and it's especially worse when they have a 2 second delay (which in this case I don't think they did) I was given ear plugs on multiple occasions to drown everyone out. It helps some.
I've sung it the national anthem in different venues and you are so right! It's one of the most difficult songs to sing in any venue but it's even harder in a very large stadium with the echo delay and having to sing it in the very early am! Yikes!
That’s all well and good, but this isn’t her first rodeo. She’s done televised shows, live shows, major events, she made an entire career of singing for huge crowds, both in person and on tv. This was not good. She’s great, but today she was not. Also, I’ve sung the national anthem as well. On tv. Nationally televised Colorado Rockies game. So what? What does your nerves have to do with Anita’s performance today? What does my LACK of nerves have to do with Anita’s performance today? I’ll tell you: they both have absolutely nothing to do with Anita’s performance, today or any other day. Regardless of the reasons, her performance today was not good, from a technical standpoint (judging only the fundamentals). And I doubt very strongly that she would disagree with that if she listens to the recording herself.
It’s not age she has a great voice! It’s just some singers are belters and some are softer voiced vocalists. She sang basketball game years back and not so greatly but she is very talented. Her old hits are very velvety 😊
They need to stop hating on Anita! From personal experience this song is NOT easy to sing! She is much older now and her singing career speaks for itself! Thank you Anita for blessing us once again with your talent!❤️❤️❤️
With all her heart, and it being just one of the 365 days of the year, she still has that same ole love ,-of singing! She is still so totally awesome! I cannot wait to attend one of her concerts! Wonderful job, Ms. AB!!
Didnt she say she deals with anxiety? Perhaps she had something to cope with it that made her not do as well? 🫣 also she is older! But she will always be a legend! Her tone was still amazing and no one can take that from her!
I bought one of her CD's years ago, and spent countless hours listening to her amazing voice. The songs were phenomenal and she should have been recognized as a much bigger star than she was.
Weather, age, traveling, not feeling well and a lot of things affects a person's voice. And she's an Alto still able to flow into Soprano at her age ( because Mariah is younger than her and can't hit the notes like she use to), I still think it was a great performance. She's human and humans are not perfect. She still sounds better than a lot of other Artists.
Leave Mariah Outtta This... She just had a successful Christmas Special, and Im sure shes worth 10Times More than Anita Baker Hunni... Dont even get me started... This is a fight you don't want
GOOD JOB Ms. Baker! Difficult songs to sing especially when you're having problems hearing yourself in order to keep tempo. You sounded beautiful through it all.
8 Grammys. She earned her right of passage. I believe this was an honor for her. The NFL realized, Oops, how did that happen, We haven't had Anita Baker singing the National Anthem 🤷♀ever!!! I am so happy for and proud of her for her entire career, as well as adding this performance to a page in her life story. Keep Going Anita.
@Glendela Williams I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you meant to reply to someone else because I didn't say anything negative about it.
@Underneath The Stars Anita sounded just fine ! She put her unique 'jazzy twist' on it as she always does with whatever she sings. If you didn't like her rendition, you're obviously not a fan. 😒
She did ok. Stop beating her up. As a singer, it's difficult to sing in these kinda weather conditions...and She clearly couldn't hear herself (plugging one ear). She is still a legend in my book.
Being a singer and musican myself, this is one of the hardest songs to sing. With that said people have to remember this song is not something, meaning the style of music that Anita Baker would sing. Anita Baker is a amazing R&B singer with her own style and this song was not suited for her, it wasn't great but it wasn't the worst that I have heard.
If she slowed it down and made it jazzy then it would sound more like Anita Baker sounds. I LOVE Anita Baker and she always sounds beautiful in her live concerts.
Anita Baker is the SONGTRESS!! She did fine. She just didn't throw anything extra in it.. One of the greatest to ever do it. My favorite singer hands down !!
The media sure knows how to light a fire under a wet tree. First the woman is 65 and just last year was said to stop performing because of her age and her voice not being what it once was. The rendition was certainly no Whitney Houston performance but it was acceptable. Lets all try and be nice and just move on. She sang it the best she could that is all you can ask of anyone.
@ᏗᎮᎮᏝᏋᏕ 2 things can be true: 1. Their voices have deteriorated. 2. This was a subpar performance from Anita and it wasn't sung "straight" as the original comment stated. There were runs but they weren't executed well. P.S. Leona having Hashimoto's disease and Mariah having nodules is not an excuse. Anita has aged thus it's understandable that her voice isn't in the condition it was in her youth. Also, Leona still performs most of the songs in the original key despite her health problems.
@GarageStudio I KNOW you're not talking. U betta go under those struggle vids and keep making excuses for ur faves Leona and Mariah. Both who sound worse than this, and whose voices are in terrible condition. Yea Anita might have not smashed this performance, but she can still perform her discography WELL and in the original key. Something ur faves(who are considerably younger) cannot do
And WHAT exactly was bad about this performance? It may not have been perfect, but she seemed to be mostly on pitch and had a nice, soulful tone. GOOD JOB, ANITA!!!
We still love you Anita. ♥️ And true, it may not have been her best performance but time, age, conditions all play a factor here. She has always been a class act. 💛
I've heard her crisp voice in live performances and this is probably cold air, and that ear piece at play. Sometimes vocal cords just don't cooperate and that is what reminds us that no matter how eloquent or refined we are still human......yep
Her performance seemed like an after thought by the organisers. Singing acappela, Its such a tough gig. Brave for any singer. My favourite will always be Jennifer hudson, but i think the musical accompaniment really anchored her. Anita is a professional and very technical singer. When she performs she controls the audio by communicating with the sound engineer. She could not communicate or control the weather.
I don’t understand the negativity here regarding her performance. It can be a hard song to sing. I am not a celebrity but I do sing and have sung the Anthem many time. She added her style when she could. She is not a soprano so you can’t expect the high notes we are used to hearing and she didn’t flub the words as some celebrities have done. To me it sounded just as I would expect coming from her and she did just fine!
Why is so many people trying to give Anita Baker excuses, I have every album she has ever recorded, and this performance was terrible, Anita Baker is better than that
I heard it and she didn't do the song justice.....those that think she did just fine don't understand what it takes to sing that song. I'm in my mid-60s and I could do better! Point is , if you're an entertainer like she is,then the effort should be made to do it right or don't do it at all!
I read how people were saying this was the worst national anthem sun ever and it's so not. She changed some of the notes, not words, just played around with the pitch a little . . . and really, so what. She's got a great voice. I don't understand the things I read about this performance. It was fine.
@Adrianne Wilson I think some people know that. I think some have forgotten Rosanne's version and I missed that all-star game, so I had to google Fergie's. It didn't catch my attention at the time. I think Fergie honestly tried to sing it well, it was just an unpopular take and she probably shouldn't have said "lets play some basketball" right at the end, but she really did try to sing it like a song. Now, Rosanne's, I went back and re-listened. In Rosanne's defense, and defending her isn't easy because so many people are on the other side of that argument, but I went back and listened and it sounds to me like the crowd was booing her at the start, even before she started signing, probably because she opposed the gulf war - that's from memory, and I can't swear to it because the video starts just a second before she starts singing, but it sounds like she walked out there to boos, and that was when she started singing, so just get through it as fast as she could, she seems to be half talking half singing, faster than normal and the boos increase. She puts her fingers in her ears and it's escalation on both sides. I'm not even sure she could hear herself over the crowd, but unfortunately, everyone in the TV audience could. That's the Howard Dean problem, the TV sound works differently than what you hear live. Dean tried to shout to a screaming crowd but all anyone watching their TVs heard was a shouting crazy looking man. So, Rosanne fed the fire, she didn't start it. The crowd started it . . . that's what it looks like to me but I'll try to research this more. And she didn't back down, she started shrieking the song and grabbed her crotch and she spat - I think her spitting was at the crowd, not at America but . . . I wasn't in her head. Still a deliberately awful version. Terrible and it ended her career for years, but I have some sympathy for her having gone back and re-listened. Before you trash me, just remember, I didn't feel this way until I went back and listened. I think she handled it badly, but I think Rosanne was responding to boos, she didn't go out there planning to sing a bad version of the song. And I'm OK with making fun of people up to a point. Make fun of Fergie's if you want, but she still has a good voice and she still tried. Rosanne's . . . well. I'm not sure she can carry a tune on her best day and she's got that attitude where she wouldn't back down and just try to sing it as best she could, so it was a bit of a perfect storm. I'm not sure what people were thinking. She's got a nasal-sounding voice that's great for sarcasm. Not good for singing. I wonder if she's ever sung anything else. OK, I'll stop now.
They know darn well Fergie and Rosanne was thee worst. What you said is exactly what happened on top of elements playing a factor. She did good in my eyes concerning the weather and seems like it was a last minute invite being that there's no music.
She was asked and she did it for the love of a strong quarterback who listens to her every game. Thanks Jalen for acknowledging a legend Ms Anita Baker who sound amazing. ❤❤
She did the assignment, Period.❤
I hate that this generation may remember her more for this performance than for her legendary career in 80's and early '90's. I saw her and Luther Vandross back in '88 and their performances were jaw dropping! Legends in their prime!!
People who know Anita Baker, know Anita Baker. She was also singing on a cold day, and I think she pulled it off really nicely. I was really happy to see this.
Well it’s kind of hard to ENJOY that voice when you have to listen to it in a serious moment. She should’ve hung it up already.
@Annie Schmannie She is amazing live. I have seen it. If you’re able to attend, go.
She’s actually on tour right now and I really want to see her
@Kim Adams I agree with this entire statement. ❤
Who cares if she didn't hit the notes like we are accustomed! Yall better be glad she still here and standing and able to still sing...the nerve of some people! Her song "You Bring me joy" still makes me cry to this day its so heart felt❤I loves her!
@Jim Croasmun you may have a point there but a legend is a legend
@Jim Croasmun exactly right! Anita is amazing and this is what it sounds like when a talented singer sings a difficult song a cappella live off the cuff.
Right she did good for age 👏 I women don't give there age out unless they chose. She looks good for her age 🙏♥️🎶.beautiful lady🙏👏👏👏👏👍
She song beautiful

I don’t see anything wrong. This performance was uniquely hers! She did it a cappella too!
Anita Baker turned 65 just a few days ago and can still sing and give full tour performances. @matt13r1 huh, for what...duh
She took way too long
@Pamela Hargrove No she didn’t lmaooo
🎯 👏
Legendary!!! She is and always will be!!!
She brings me Joy!! I love her she's a real true old school legend!!!
I remember in the 80s, my niece was crazy about her music. Then as I started watching her music videos I could see why my niece was fond of her. Anita was always like polished perfection, in her video's, and the love songs she sang, was almost like she wrote the book on love. She had such deep feelings.
I like what you did there - love that song!!
I will take this class, poise and elegance any day over what the singers are out there bringing today…. ❤ She’s amazing.
This was not horrible. She sang the song straight without runs and several ad libs. I think she did a good job.
@Gabino barrera 🤣🤣
@Gabino barrera 🤣🤣
@Ronald W Barely noticeable is different from "she sang it straight without runs".
The fact is, there were still runs...they were just not executed well.
@GarageStudio
Her runs were barely noticeable.
@Mz Yo TruthNLove You need Grammys to know facts 💀
You're being overly emotional...call a spade, a spade. She added runs to the song, they just lacked precision and musicality.
That obviously does not mean that this this single performance destroys Anita Baker's legacy. I highly doubt that anyone is even stating so.
Anita baker could’ve easily sang it in her range but her singing it in her higher register is pretty impressive for her range
@Janet Little yes she sang this actually lower years ago
Her range being contralto?
Thaaaaank you Anita. Direct plain and simply beautiful. No showboating.. no additives,...no elongated notes.. no gospeling over boards. Just sing the song and move on !!! An appropiately welcomed rendition .
Anita Baker's voice brings so many pleasant memories... I can't help but love anything she sings. I love her voice
OMG, I hate all this for her…she’s a senior, multi-Grammy award winning legend that has an absolutely amazing body of work. I have no complaints😊 I love her no matter what she does vocally
Well I actually thought it was a beautiful version of this song and she did a wonderful job at singing our National Anthem. She sang with the pride of an American and that's what counts.
At least she didn't twerk nor rap...
Once a Legend always a Legend. Anita Baker will always be known for her outstanding voice and stirring emotions in us. This is just another example.
My favorite singer of all-time. For the young RnB fans who aren’t familiar with her, listen to Baby, Angel, Lead Me Into Love, Same Ol Love, and Caught in the Rapture. Unapologetic love at its finest.
Man, any album from her catalog will do.
Love Miss Anita Baker. Class, grace and talent. Was so happy to hear her sing the national anthem last weekend.
Yikes!
After reading what y'all wrote, I have to agree. You both made valid points.
Lyrics???? How about 1/2 the song being the wrong notes and her awful attempts at trying to find the right note by doing unnecessary runs.
That’s all well and good, but this isn’t her first rodeo. She’s done televised shows, live shows, major events, she made an entire career of singing for huge crowds, both in person and on tv. This was not good. She’s great, but today she was not.

And I doubt very strongly that she would disagree with that if she listens to the recording herself.
It isn't the easiest song to sing. She put her own spin on it which I loved. Can't wait to see her live in February! 🎶 ❤ 🎵
New Orleans??
Anita is a legend with an amazing voice this made my week
@SHENIKA GADDY I’ll e going to the show in Chicago! Can’t wait to get my tickets!
Me too! Just bought concert tickets today!
She did great, knew the words and carried the tune👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Huh?? Were we listening to the same thing
LOL...nice try.
She forgot some words too lol
🧢
Pahahaha!
Even Legendary Marvin song it in a unique way.
Wdym this song is difficult you could learn it in like 20 minutes. It sucks. Deal with it
She chose to sing it like she did. I do not think it was as bad as people have been saying, but she could have done much better.
@Mike she's not white she's sings like Anita
it happens to even the best of us. she did what she had to do. coming from a young 33 year old who loves legends like her.
With all her heart, and it being just one of the 365 days of the year, she still has that same ole love ,-of singing! She is still so totally awesome! I cannot wait to attend one of her concerts! Wonderful job, Ms. AB!!
@Dorothy Smith thanks for letting me know!!!
She's on tour now. Check Ticketmaster.
sounds amazing. no autotune, no backing singers or band, acappella. amazing
She actually sung well she did it her way
Saw her in concert last night and she sounded AMAZING!! Her voice is still 🔥
Love Anita Baker. She’s a class act.
Didnt she say she deals with anxiety? Perhaps she had something to cope with it that made her not do as well? 🫣 also she is older! But she will always be a legend! Her tone was still amazing and no one can take that from her!
Anita Baker is a legend.
Her 80's concerts were unforgettable.
What an amazing rendition.
Love her, Love this wonderful country.
GOD bless the USA.
I loved how the crowd joined in to sing with her.
I read on twitter that they asked her at the last minute so she probably didn't have much time if any to practice. Nonetheless, I enjoyed her. 🤩
Aww... ok...
I bought one of her CD's years ago, and spent countless hours listening to her amazing voice. The songs were phenomenal and she should have been recognized as a much bigger star than she was.
I recall buying her first album and I do mean album.

I like it she sung it really good no auto tune just plan talent 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
I've Been Listening To & Loving Anita Baker's Voice For 40 Years, Her Voice Still Gives Me Goosebumps!
What ever there was nothing wrong with this performance…. Legends never day their classic music lives forever
Right the way everyone👍👍 was talking I thought something had happened. It sound good to me.
GOOD JOB Ms.
Baker!
Difficult songs to sing especially when you're having problems hearing yourself in order to keep tempo.
You sounded beautiful through it all.
The new generation is use to auto tune music, they are not use to real singing. Beautiful Anita! 🔥🔥🔥
She was giving us "the best that she got"....
Word. She sounded great.
I love Anita! Going to listen to some of her music now! Great performance. Great game! 🇺🇸
All in her style! Great job, Anita!!!!
Shaaaaaade 😂
Who cares what this generation thinks! Wait until they turn 65m! She is still awesome. The national anthem is a tough song to sing! I love her!
@Dddd Dada dad 🤣
Could you say this again please!!!!!
If they reach 65
I agree! Plus, by the time they reach 65, they won't even be able to hear, let alone appreciate good music.
Not sure I get what was so bad about it tbh. Wasn't perfect but I was expecting way worse based on the reactions i saw
Class and talent!
Just sing it in it's natural rhythm. NOBODY will ever out do Whitney. This surely wasn't it and I Love Anita Baker
Yeah but who can’t sing when you are hyped on drugs just ask Elvis
Her songs at my wedding in 1989…. That’s how I’ll remember my Diva Anita Baker ❤
Singing outside in the cold and most importantly without Auto-Tune which one of this generation the artist can say that zero
It wasn’t bad she still did her thang! She is still 1 of the best singers to do it .
what are people talking about she did just fine
Anita was great back in the day. Give her credit for singing this difficult song at her age.
she still great
I’ve heard singers do way worse, as many a great performances that she’s given I salute her still
Our hero’s aren’t young forever❤
I love Anita Baker! I saw her in Minneapolis, and she blew us away! I'll always love her and her music!
She is still a great talent…bravo!
8 Grammys. She earned her right of passage. I believe this was an honor for her.

I am so happy for and proud of her for her entire career, as well as adding this performance to a page in her life story. Keep Going Anita.
Good job, Ms. Baker! You’re a legend.
A talented singer doing it live without the tricks! Love it!
This woman can sing the alphabet and I will still give her a standing ovation. Y'all haters need to leave Auntie alone!
She did amazingly phenomenal!!!!!
You go Anita B!! 💕
Sounded great to me. Fine rendition by a wonderful singer. Party on Y'all!!!
It was horrendous
@MAX Not too much on Anita Baker. She's one of the best to ever do it.
Haha no she’s terrible
Anita Baker is a legend. Her 80's concerts were unforgettable. What an amazing rendition. Love her, Love this wonderful country. GOD bless the USA.
She didn’t do bad! Started off rocky but still did a good job in that windy weather
Chile, bye!
That wasn’t so bad! She basically sang it straight without any theatrics!
Beautiful rendition by a beautiful singer of a beautiful anthem. She still sounded like Anita!!
She did ok. Stop beating her up. As a singer, it's difficult to sing in these kinda weather conditions...and She clearly couldn't hear herself (plugging one ear). She is still a legend in my book.
@Unwrap With J Rap Whitney's was lip synced
Period
Whitney Houston crushed it, she sang it how it is to be sung.
That was brutal.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think she did great…love Anita Baker!!! God bless her. ❤

She rocked it amazing legend
No singer could ever sing this song right the only one that could really deliver this song was WHITNEY HOUSTON 🥰❤🌹
She’s a LEGEND. This performance doesn’t deserve credence. People have bad days.
Great performance Anita! 🥰
If she slowed it down and made it jazzy then it would sound more like Anita Baker sounds. I LOVE Anita Baker and she always sounds beautiful in her live concerts.

Both who sound worse than this, and whose voices are in terrible condition. Yea Anita might have not smashed this performance, but she can still perform her discography WELL and in the original key. Something ur faves(who are considerably younger) cannot do
@410m
EXACTLY
That's raw Nita Sweet Love Baker
Loved it!!! Great job!!
And WHAT exactly was bad about this performance? It may not have been perfect, but she seemed to be mostly on pitch and had a nice, soulful tone.
GOOD JOB, ANITA!!!
@Fargo Plainview Sounded like she was on-pitch to me. Not perfect, but good. Besides there are others who have sounded far worse.
@Chauntel Bland sounded really bad and off-key
@Fargo Plainview And what was wrong with the singing?
the singing
We still love you Anita. ♥️ And true, it may not have been her best performance but time, age, conditions all play a factor here. She has always been a class act. 💛
Incomparable and Unforgettable Legendary Songstress 💖❤💯✌🏾
I've heard her crisp voice in live performances and this is probably cold air, and that ear piece at play. Sometimes vocal cords just don't cooperate and that is what reminds us that no matter how eloquent or refined we are still human......yep
Her performance seemed like an after thought by the organisers. Singing acappela, Its such a tough gig. Brave for any singer. My favourite will always be Jennifer hudson, but i think the musical accompaniment really anchored her. Anita is a professional and very technical singer. When she performs she controls the audio by communicating with the sound engineer. She could not communicate or control the weather.
i liked Anita's rendition. 💪
Nobody sang it better than Whitney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Noooooobody
THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!
People complaining about how bad she was. I found nothing wrong with it. She did fine.
Why is so many people trying to give Anita Baker excuses, I have every album she has ever recorded, and this performance was terrible, Anita Baker is better than that
I thought she was fine too. At least she wasn’t lip syncing.
She was horrible, anybody that thinks she was good needs to get their hearing checked
I heard it and she didn't do the song justice.....those that think she did just fine don't understand what it takes to sing that song. I'm in my mid-60s and I could do better! Point is , if you're an entertainer like she is,then the effort should be made to do it right or don't do it at all!
SHE DID AMAZING 🤩 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Wow she's amazing I never heard anyone sing that song in seven different keys
I think she did a good job singing acapella out there in the elements at her age!!!!😊
Definitely will go see her when she comes out west. Never miss a chance to see her live
It's very disappointing when a legend doesn't quite deliver, but legends are human too. Gotta love Anita.
She's a Queen of R & B! Always will be! I'd pay to hear her gargle!
I got chills and cried
I always loved her! ❤️
She did better than I could have
She is definitely a legend an I honestly still listen too her the song “Sweet Love”
Whoever has a problem with Anita”s rendition, I’m sure your best singing wouldn’t even come close to her on her worst day 😌
Even though she looked like she was a frozen popsicle stick she belted this one out and it was one of the most moving I ever heard
Still a legend. Still looking good and still sounding good. I love me some Anita.
This was pretty great. I see no issue here, compared to other renditions
This wasn’t bad, sure some parts sounded off but it was still gold
It was awesome singing in the cold and . One finger in her ear to hear herself better. She did awesome
She is an Icon!!!!!!!!
