Never realized how much work went into a few minutes of show.
Ik right!! I thought they just lined guys up and straight up killed them 😂
@TexZenMaster myth
But some of the best minutes in TV history
7 miles of electrical wiring for one / two scene{s} .
Kinda like science huh boom
Cannot believe they didn't know why or what the gun was going to be used for,Breaking Bad ended perfectly, that rotating gun scene was up there with the best,I repeated it so many times Jesse getting revenge on evil Tod as well, amazing how it all came together.
Jesse killed Todd with the shackles that were used on him. It’s so symbolic but also subtle enough to be genius
They like to write themselves into a corner then overcome it
@Vivimos_en_una_sociedad so call it an evil business, which it literally is, and call the businessman evil, because they literally are
@Grumpy Cat todd was a sociopath, he felt no remorse. but he also didnt feel any particular joy when killing. for him, it was just the dirty side of bussines. a bussines his uncle and the crew made him grow up in. he was not innocent, but the other guy was totally right.
"Even playing dead on a show like this is intense".
Striving for that level of perfection is what makes Breaking Bad the brilliant show that it is.
Well, he was massage chair corpse guy. That’s not just being still on the floor.
The only one that could kill walt was walt.
Jesse killed Toco
@Delux Walt killed Heisenberg
amazing quote
@Delux no no no Walt set things right at the end the good in Walt killed Heisenberg for good
The ending to this show is goddam PERFECT in every way
I completely agree with you, it couldn't be otherwise. Yes, the way Walt was exposed by Hank at the end and Jesse suddenly realized at the same moment that Walt poisoned Brock was not a very good decision, as if far-fetched, but everything that happened after that was just perfect. 😏👍
Even though I always tear up a little bit when it comes to that scene, I really love the moment Jesse and Walter nod each other goodbye.
you're goddamn right
@Marisa B It is sad, but atleast it didn't overstay it's welcome.
Vince Gilligan is a genius
@Bruh Man Who hurt you
@vengeful retreat that a little bit exaggerated
the amount of thought, planning, anxiousness to make a shot like that.
TV makes it seem like just a ordinary shootout scene.
My respects.
And the crew and cast.
Your goddam right
"Less physical, more cerebral and therefore, more breaking bad."
@Jacob Devine yes i found broken pieces of vince lying on the road the other day
Vince is literally breaking bad
@Andy Spendlove but he has cerebral palsy
@intervals no u

Knowing that none of the finale was planned from the get go makes it that much more amazing.
Yeah, it's kind of like we were all apart of it together.
yes
The last 8 episodes of Breaking Bad, including this stellar finale, were my favorite episodes of all time. It was just perfection. From Blood Money to Rabid Dog, Ozymandias to Felina, it had everything you could ever hope for in any medium of viewing fiction. It took my breath away. That look between Jesse and Walt in the final moments of the show was a rare wonder of a moment, rarely seen on film, let alone on television. It said so much, EVERYTHING, without saying a word. I’d wager to say there was never a better finale in all of television. And I’ve seen it all trust me 😂
@F3LIX 7 no u
@redorange word season ever
Then you should watch GoT season 8. Best season ever!
“Say *you* want this. Nothing happens till I hear you say it!”
“I want this.”
“Then do it yourself.”
I’ve watched season 5 part two countless times. It’s incredible.
“Mom i want breaking bad”
Mom: We have breaking bad at home
Breaking bad at home: 3:48 4:05
This made my life!
This is one of the very few times a KZclip comment has made me laugh out loud
@Dao 996 “Mom I want Mr. White”
Mom: We have Mr. White at home
Mr. White at home: 4:09
*Columbian Breaking Bad has entered the chat*

Even in the end, Walt saves Jesse from dying.. beautiful episode brilliant ending
Jesse wouldnt be there if he didn't snitch on Walt
I’ve heard theories that Walt initially planned on including everyone, including Jesse, but changed his mind once he took a look at Jesse’s haggard condition and realized Jesse was left behind as a tortured slave.
walt saves jesse from dying in a place where he is because of walt and he saves him from being shot by walt, haha
This last episode is perfect for me. Walt and Heisenberg come together in a perfect balance. We get a good chunk of the genius of Walter white, but we get the unforgiving ruthlessness of Heisenberg. You may argue we’ve seen this on the show before, but it comes off so balanced in the finale that it almost feels like some sensei master shit. He finally accepts who he is in this world, he knows exactly where he stands and doesn’t fear death anymore. To me, even though Walt could never be forgiven for his actions, there is some sense of redemption in his acceptance of himself and the circumstances
Never thought of it like that, you're totally right though.
the amount of thought, planning, anxiousness to make a shot like that.
TV makes it seem like just a ordinary shootout scene.
My respects.
Another scene that was genius was on another episode when Walt put the gun on the table and spun it like spin the bottle and it kept landing on him. Watch the making of that one. The engineering and thought put into that little scene was crazy.
@Zacry Carmichael another one: if everything is fine, there's nothing to point out
"If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."
in order to truly admire any scene like this is to have the eyes of a cinematographer. If you don't pay attention to the details and just watch it for what it is you will miss out on the heart of the scene. VG truly understands the art of cinematography he's an absolute genius!
WOW! This was one of the best behind the scenes type videos I've ever seen. Incredible! And the ending was perfect for the story. Breaking Bad will always be one of my favorite shows ever.
i like how Walt has his hair at the end of the show. I feel like him regaining his hair is symbolic of him finally losing Heisenberg and becoming Walter White again so that he can die somewhat good rather than die a villain.
@REDSMED Walt never considered Jesse a Friend. He literally said that he keeps him close cause hes like a loyal Dog to him.
The one Person that was kind of a Friend to him died in the Dessert and here he took revenge for him.
A Friendship is based on respect and Walt never had any Respect for Jesse. He loved him like a Man loves his Dog but he never respected him like real Friends do.
@PapaHellmann Playin Games! or maybe, just maybe, growing his hair back means he was months hiding from the police in a cold city
@absolutelybagel Yes and realizing what he did and why, is a sign that he has realized what he did, and truly evil people dont know or dont care about such things- Heisenberg always lied and didnt care about anything but beeing in control and beeing the best. By saying he did it for himself and saying what skyler wanted to hear, he is beeing honest for the first time in a long time and does something for someone other than himself. He is giving up control, to care for the people he cares about and those are his final deeds, what he does for his family and jessy- that might not make him the good guy, but that does make him the person that is not the villain- the person we met in season 1 and that disappeared in season 2.
I think walter growing his hair back is him accepting that he cant control everything- the thing that made him become heisenberg was that he had so lil control in his life he wanted to control everything he couldnt before he found out about his cancer. Thats why he could never accept somebody was smarter, more successful, or more powerful than himself. And thats why he ended up becoming such a destructive force. The last season is him giving up control and turning back to what he went into the meth business for, trying to make it right with the people that mattered most in his life.
The most amazing thing about this to me, is that each of these Shots are only on for a couple seconds a piece. Yet, they put just so much work into it all, every single shot counts, it's crazy what they were able to do with this show, just awesome.
I can’t help but wonder what the ending would’ve been if they didn’t write themselves into a corner with the gun.
OR if dude would of never threw the
keys where Walt could get access to them ..his plan would of been dead in the water ..but we all knew the show couldn’t continue…and it’s sad cuz it was such a good ass show..and I have yet to of found one to catch my interest the way this one did ..not ONE. it was just one of those shows that will hold
A moment in time ..I’m just glad we were all around to witness it (prob the Only show I can watch again and again and still find things I didn’t see the time before )
Shit, it was a good corner!
That’s what I thought was going to happen
I would think walt would do the thing he did with tuco but blow himself and everyone up
For some reason I like the scene where Hank confronts Walt in his garage with all the facts. It's just so confronting. Brings everything together I think.
Scene like a onion... makes me wana cry
Do yourself a favour and search for Blood Money Table Read
The fact that breaking bad looked like a movie rather than a TV show is amazing
The turret at the final shootout always made so much sense to me, I always thought Vince had a concrete plan right from the beginning. Now I know that they didn’t know what exactly Walt was going to use it for just shows how talented the writers are.
It’s hilarious to find out they bought that gun without knowing how it would be used. The writing on this show is such perfection, I assumed every detail was planned from the beginning. Impressive work from everyone involved. I love seeing behind the scenes stuff like this. I appreciate the work that went into this even more.
And the best part is that this scene was re-enacted in Myth Busters with live ammo. And the result was almost the same.
Like many, many moments and sequences in BB, this was one of those scenes where I just sort of stood there with my jaw dropped at what I was watching play out in front of me. Best original series ever filmed and rarest of rare, outstanding television.
It was very interesting to see how the guys worked on this scene. This is one of my favorite scenes. The way Walter passed away and took all the villains with him was so damn cool! He died as a star that expands devouring all nearby planets before exploding. The same thing happened with Walter. And he did it in his own style, thinking with his head first of all. And it was awesome, very epic. He couldn't have gone any cooler. Just the perfect ending for him. He obviously couldn't live happily ever after, but Heisenberg couldn't afford to die ingloriously either, so...everything was exactly as it should be.😃
Breaking Bad: so good that even the “behind the scenes” segments are mind blowing
the last four episodes of the season finale will forever stay in my heart.
Most perfect ending to any show ever made.
Wish game of thrones had a ending as satisfying as this
Haiz, that's is all fan of GoT wishes :(
The production process is really tiring and complex, but with results are freaking amazing, when it comes to Breaking Bad.
Take note GOT writers! This is the way to write a finale! 👏
@azhy I agree with you, I did expect a slight dip in quality. But think about it, D&D are the executive producers of GOT, to be qualified for that job, they must have had some decent skills as writers to be the executive producers right? But the mistakes they made especially in season 8 are so horrible that no decent self-respecting writer would make.
Those guys lack the basic storytelling skills. Look, I am not expecting them to be as good as GRRM or be great writers. All I am asking is decent storytelling skills, which they lack.
They are great at adapting the story I agree but they lack the basic storytelling skills to stand on their own feet and create a decent story on their own
@Heisenberg the reason why GOT failed is because it's an adaptation and when they ran out of paper to adapt they went their own path
@DIY Success PH Exactly. There are even hour long youtube videos showing every wrong detail in season 8 like the plot armor in The long night where basically every character goes down to be eating by wrights but they come out without a scratch. There was no light in that episode either where some people say "just turn your brightness up" if you have to turn it up to see what is happening it´s clearly too dark, in the big battle in LOTR you could see everything (btw not a LOTR fan just an example) armors didn´t work anymore, Jon slashes a Lannister soldier on his steel armor and he dies and put his sword through another man´s armor and Arya should be dead by fire like 3 times or more.
Also we have been told since season 1 about the white walkers like the old lady telling Brann the story about the white walkers with giant ice spiders big as hounds, they hyped the white walkers up for 9 years just for them to die in one night they didn´t even make it past the first castle what would be cool was seeing them rolling past every castle or a few with a bigger army from the falling soldiers since the night king can resurrect the dead and in the long night the white walkers did nothing they just stood in the background doing nothing and speaking of resurrection when the night king resurrects the dead around Jon they don´t touch him, if that was the scene he should be dead but they just walk right through him because of plot armor. They can hit a flying dragon from far away 3 times in seconds but not the biggest one with far more of those ballistas? The Golden company wiped out in what a minute or so? Anyways I could go on since there are so many inconsistencies in season 8 even without the bad dialogue.
Some fans just refuse to see how bad a part of the show or movie franchise they like e.g. the star wars sequels they just blindly love it and refuses to see its flaws.
@DIY Success PH 👍🏻
No No but according to this guy Monokhem above GoT ended perfectly and all those who saw the inconsistencies did not understand the story. 🤣🤣🤣
perfect ending , really epic and intense , as it should be
By far the best serie ever made. Thanks Genius Vince.
Imagine how un-Breaking Bad it would've been if they had sticked with the first option of Walt going Rambo.
Todd's actor seemed as cold and efficient as his character when he was given his directions
Apaixonada pela série!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
"Wait, what are we building?"
"You said it yourself"
"...a robot?"
"....you're GODDAMN RIGHT"
The scene where Walt shoots Jack is just a 19/10
This ending was a beautiful ending to such a beautiful show.
Never considered how much work went into this scene. The whole crew was amazing.
My jaw was on the floor during this scene as I'm sure everyone's was. Best final episode to a series ever.
You know you're a GREAT director when you have your cast and crew follow everything you say and get the scene in one take, wow, just wow Vince. 👏🏽
You laugh when Heisenberg tells a joke, even if it wasn't very funny.
@John Smith Not to insult Brian as i love him, but he was not an A lister at this point, breaking bad made him pretty much an A lister, before this he was just known as "the comedy actor who played with that one kid in the middle." Malcom in the Middle was his most known role. So at this point he was not an A lister.
@John Smith Alright calm down there, son
It was fairly funny. But the laughs it got were overboard for sure.
Glad I had the chance to watch such an incredible show like breaking bad. NOTHING WILL EVER COMPARE
Todd was a really creepy guy, he had this look of teenaged, high school kid, but when you look at him more in the show, he was really scary looking, the character, not the actor, of course.
Prob one of (if not the BEST)best shoot out scenes of all times..watched this show 4 times now and STILL get super anxiety before this shoot out goes down ..VINCE is by far a f’n genius and I love the way his mind works 🙌🏻❤️👌🏻
Great scene. Great show. They didn’t stay around for longer than their welcome. Four PERFECT seasons. And a final season that hasn’t been topped since. Dexter stuck around four seasons too long
A very emotional and tense ending, especially knowing Walt did all that bad stuff just to have plenty of money for his family for when he passed away.
Then the family didn't want any of it.
Such a fantastic show.
Felina was absolutely amazing what an amazing way to end breaking bad even though I never wanted it to end!
Let's just take a moment to appreciate the word "squib", wonderful.
Obviously the on-set work is amazing but the editing for this scene is absolutely gorgeous
This show ended so well, and they made it look so effortless. Game of Thrones really should have taken some notes from Vince Gilligan.
@Bad karma so apperentaly every person who havent watched got is a hipster? Thats bullshit
monokhem On the contrary. You don't have a clue what you're talking about.
monokhem wow, Martin doesn't understand the characters that he himself created. Bravo.
Is that you David? Dan?
monokhem I didn't have a guy, believe it or not. Not since Robb Stark. And no, they don't understand them better than anyone. George RR Martin obviously understands them better, as do the millions of readers/viewers. If anything, D&D understand these characters less than anyone else. That much is apparent if you listen to their speech on Arya becoming a faceless man. They fail to realize that her story is not a story about revenge, it's a story about identity. Remember that scene when she can't put the needle away because it reminded her of Jon, Winterfell, Ned etc? Because she can't let go of who she is? Well guess what D&D said about that scene...
I'm paraphrasing but it went something like this: "Arya throws away her belongings but she can't throw Needle away. Arya wants to get revenge on the people who harmed her, and she will get that revenge with Needle."
To miss the point of that scene so much, I'm sorry, but I think you have to be a bit of an idiot at least. That scene was so obvious when it comes to what it was trying to portray. So no, D&D had no idea what they were doing. On a fundamental level, they failed to comprehend the story they were adapting. And that's just one example. God forbid I go into what they did to Littlefinger, Stannis, Dorne etc.
Rum Ham Time wasn't the only issue. The lack of understanding D&D have for the characters, plotlines and themes of ASOIAF is apparent to anyone who pays attention. If they had all the time in the world, it would be just as bad if not worse. Sure they lacked the time for characterization and plot, but even what they wrote they got all wrong. So many plotholes, armies just being forgotten about, characters doing insanely idiotic things, characters acting the way that they shouldn't be when you keep their previous motivations in mind, so much bad, lazy and stupid writing regarding characters. Arya and LF are the biggest ones that come to mind. But also Jaime. With a hundred years these characters would still be ruined, simply because D&D fundamentally misunderstand them.
This series has set my expectations so high that I haven’t enjoyed many shows since. Watched BB *3.
Same!!!
That's the thing with phenomenal writing, makes you realize how poorly written most shows/movies are.
The ending left me stunned. Amazing!!
Easily the most incredible scene in any TV show.
I remember my jaw dropping to the floor when I watched this scene the first time. Best show ever
I was so sad when this episode was over .. I really thought there would be hours n hours more of BB to watch.. But it was a wild one, I'm gonna have to say my fave was when they robbed the train tanker.
I was on "Talking Bad" for the 2nd to last episode of the series (they typically shoot the Talking Dead/Talking Saul/Talking Bad studio episodes on the Tuesdays or Wednesdays prior to the original air date & time of a new episode), and I was lucky enough to see the finale nearly two weeks earlier than it's initial airing. It was ABSOLUTE TORTURE having to avoid spoiling it for everyone I knew for weeks! I just told folks (in a sarcastic tone, so as not to be taken seriously) that at the end of Breaking Bad Walt teams up with a robot to defeat Nazis. Haha, although that's technically 100% correct, everyone thought I was messing with them... * sigh * good times. DAYUM I MISS THIS SHOW!!!
Big flipping whoop. Everyone has seen it now so you’re no longer special.
You big lie.
That scene was sheer genius not just in all that it took to film it but the very concept of Walt's brilliant revenge plan.... to have what amounts to a machine gun on auto run spray the entire club house once the trunk lid pops open was phenomenal and so gratifying! I think it was the best I've ever seen... it was so beautifully done that it alone should have gotten an Emmy for special effects!
I love the detail at 9:34 with the piece of plastic flyling into Walt's glass. Amazing!
The whole team deserves a standing ovation for pulling of the climax of felina
The most eerie part of this, to me, was the movement of the body in the massage chair after the shooting stopped. That attention to detail is what made this show magnificent.
One of the greatest shows ever.
Best music they could put on the ending, Badfingers was an amazing and underrated band ❤️
This is how to end a series. GOT should have brought VG on.
got's problem wasn't direction. the problem were d&d and their inability to do a decent script whitout a book to base on.
Got was and always has been a shitshow- and i mean that as a whole and not that the show is bad. Nobody could have or will end that mess properly, the fanboys need to start facing that. Even R.R.Martin isnt going to be able to.
@Sea Raider breaking bad has a relatively slow pace tf you on
@RemixedVoice he only directed Ozymandias. He wrote and directed the Last Jedi. The majority of problems people had with the movie lied in the writing.
@Robert Loughrey exactly, like imagine if Walt never did end up getting the money to his family. It would've made the entire show pointless.
This scene is one of the coolest, hand-to-mouth scenes in the series. I had no idea how bafflingly complex it was to shoot! Amazing job. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
One of the few shows that had a satisfying finale.
If Vince truly didn't have the ending mapped out, then no show in history ever got luckier with the greatest series finale EVER!!! I don't know if anything will ever come anywhere near as close to this in quality, but if it does I can't wait to see it.
A great ending to a great, fabulous show, with so many fantastic scenes. Gus getting half of his face blown off, a train riding over Jesse on the railroad tracks, too many to mention. I will never forget this awesome show.
The last episode HAS to have the best ending possible. This was exactly how I wanted it to end and was Perfectly done, every single second was Perfect.
This 'final showdown' never gets old.
I spent 4 months on Universals lot as a apprentice and the work and dedication people have to create great movies is just mind boggling From the Gaff guy to the Best Boy and Stunt coordinator.
I love all this little detailing and the project planning. This is all intense which is part of why the show is awesome.
I expected this level of set-up and stunt coordination, what surprised me most was the fact Vince had no idea what was going to happen with the M60 when he first introduced it! He came up with such a brilliant use, plus the finale of the show, in basically no time at all.
The amount of detail in this is insane. You never think about how much goes into this type of stuff. What a fantastic work of art.
that big step between walt being a shooter, to him piecing this crazily elaborate shooting just makes the ending so much more amazing
I watched this episode at my old apartment in Austin Texas. I had just got an amazing surround sound set up. My neighbor called the cops on me for having my tv up too loud and she said it sounded like a real machine gun. When the cops got there I opened the door and a bong was on my table. The cop said "I guess I'm Hank and you're Jesse tonight huh?" APD's finest told me he was a BB fan and just told me to turn the machine guns down 😂
That's wild that this wasn't planned from the beginning of the season. It was executed flawlessly
Man I wish I could erase this show from my mind and watch it for the first time again.. Fucking phenomenal show
Wow! These behind the scenes are as good as the real show!
Damn what if Walt never took a hit there?! Does he just go down and get arrested by the authorities at the end? Blow up the lab with him in it? Lol. What an amazing piece of art this entire universe is. Thanks to that entire team for making it.
I bet Vince wanted to keep every single prop and piece of the set that was ever used. How could he not. This is his masterpiece and his baby. I bet he did end up keeping a lot of it. This show is just so fucking incredible. It’s so easy to watch this show over and over and not get bored of it.
I can’t tell if Vince is a genius and plans everything out or just wings it and hopes for the best. Breaking bad was easily my favorite show ever tho
Seeing how all of that has been done is even more impressive than the actual series. Love it.
I love that they recreated this scene for real with Vince on Mythbusters and he forgot to account for the gun hanging and shooting more bullets on either end of the sweep
Breaking Bad is perfect!!! I really love it!!
Imagine being the guy who screwed up. And everyone including Vince Gilligan and Bryan Cranston looking at you with the same way Walt looks at Skyler when he says "I am the one who knocks"!
Man. What a finale!!😍😍
And this, game of thrones, is how you end a show perfectly
One of the most euphoric scenes in all of fiction
Perfect final of a perfect show with perfect actors
Masterpiece.
Best show to ever air to television
For me this scene resonates on a much bigger scale because Mr White went the distance to rescue Jesse and avenge Hank as well I think its great because it to me seems as though back in the desert scene when Hank and Steve were killed Mr White was powerless to stop the Nazi's in this scenario where he was literally powerless Heisanburg rose again in that moment and one by one pegged everyone off that had crossed him this was also a genuine oppertunity to settle a few scores before cashing out for Mr White but also to protect and rescue who I consider Walter's adopted son Jesse in those moments you can feel and see how important Jesse is to Walter and the love he has for him I consider that very brave of Mr White to shield Jesse from harm and protect him from the gun fire
So incredible the amount of work and detail that goes into these shots
Hours and hours and hours of planning, rehearsing, setting up, shooting, editing...all for 43 seconds on screen. Incredible.
Every single character in this show is perfect for character which they play
Vince seriously paid so much attention to every detail and it shows in the series from start to finish. It’s a true masterpiece and will always be my favourite show of all time. 👏🏻 WELL DONE ALL CAST AND CREW
I finally noticed the moment Walt is supposed to get hit and flinches from a ricochet bullet while he's covering Jesse
I finally saw that as well, it was right at the end too, the heisenburg luck ran out :/
its so good. that magic vibe... man we all miss it
Best ending to a show of all time, change my mind
I won't

Hahahahha
