You inspired me to start making knifes myself, Im 23 I made a coal forge out of bricks and just finished my first 5 knifes. They are not beautiful but I can see improvement from my first to fifth blade. I hope to be near your level one day. Thank you for you dedication to the craft and for sharing your work to inspire others.
Ps; I just cut down a walnut tree with a fat burl under it, we never see handles or scales so I assume you have no wood. I can send you some!

I think this might be one of my favorites of the blades you've made. The patter is so delicatge, so beautiful, and so subtle...plus the design and shape of the blade itself...amazing.

Always something a little different. Never ceases to amaze me how easy you make it all look. I have built myself a small forge and have been messing around with making some knives out of railroad spikes like I once saw you do. Once i get them looking a bit better (and quit overheating them into worthless slag) I am going to try some case hardening. Thank you for the inspiration to try something new.
