Mmmmhhh... Lucky them ! 'Cause they have no say so, what's so ever on that subject. And it doesn't even matter if that would affect their life forever.
In my country we don't have this gender reveal "tradition", if I may call it so. In my opinion parents should prepare their kids to accept whatever the gender their sibling is gonna be.
My man and I turned down to learn our daughter's gender before she was born. We decided to wait til she was born to find out the gender. Plus, it is better to get gender neutral clothing for the upcoming birth of the lil one. This way the next time the parents have a kid of the opposite gender. They can still use the same ones for the second and any kids later on.
I remember being so disappointed when I heard I was having a fourth brother and still no sister. I realized later the benefits of being the princess of the family 😎
If the parents just came out and said you're going to have a sister/brother when telling them they're pregnant they might not have these gross reactions.
@omp199 Crying in disappointment because of their future siblings gender is not sexism. They're kids, they are simply showing emotions based on life experiences etc. Maybe they're used to having sisters and wanted a brother to experience something new or vice versa. Remember that these kids are at that age where they believe in Cooties. These are natural "in the moment" kids reactions and they mean nothing. Once the siblings are born they grow to love them and care for them. Non of these kids are likely to grow up as a sexist person.
Kids cry like this a dozen times a day. Many of the kids in this video are probably drama queens, and exaggerate their emotions. That's why many parents are laughing - they have seen it a thousand times. They would cry even if you told them quietly. There's no great trauma here, except maybe your own :) Stop making it a big deal.
I don't know about making Lives better, but big sisters keep their younger brothers in line, at least mine did. And I wouldn't have it any other way. 😂
They probably wouldn't have this extreme reaction if there wasnt a build up of a reveal and acting like theres a choice. If you just said, you are having a brother/sister straight up, they would shrug and be like ok.
The parents build it up into a big contest and then are surprised with the winning and losing reactions. Just let kids meet their new brother or sister after they are born and I'm sure nearly all of them would be happy to meet them regardless.
I'm not sure how these things took off and became a thing for the average person to do... but they were originally a family-only celebration for couples who had troubles conceiving.
I was the oldest girl with 4 brothers. I never cried but I was so disappointed every time they brought another boy home…😮 I love them all now, 70 years later. Two are gone and I miss those boys with all my heart.
We're 4 brothers, and i remember i was upset when my mom and dad came home from the hospital with my third brother ( i was 5 years old at that time, so forgive my ignorance...) because i told my mother i really wanted a sister so it just felt like she betrayed me. I actually thought having a sister would let me learn more about girls, because my older brother and I were often playing hide n seek or jumping on the trampoline with the neighbouring sisters that were just as old as us. And i noticed we cared about different things but also the same. So i thought it would be useful to have a sister to learn more about these misterious and intriguing creatures :) Mom always thought i was pragmatic and practical about gaining knowledge and doing things... But i'm happy with my 3 brothers, and mom is alwas proud of handling us up to no good devils :P we're all between 6'4 and 6'7 and we love taking family pictures with our 5'7 mom standing in the middle with a huge smile huging her 4 towers of men she raised ❤
Why in the world would anyone ask their kids “what do you want?” As if they have any say in the matter whatsoever? It’s situational overload , and indulging in it when they start whining for attention is just worse.
Yeah I actually completely agree. If they just said you’re getting a sibling they would be grateful. And if they were upset they were getting a sibling that would be even worse 😳
@Mike I believe when you're concern enough about your kids. You would tell if they would be happy or not. And therefore, avoid those cringies videos. 🙄
I've never understood that. It's like when people take it personally when parents point out they were an accident/mistake. I mean, there are some contexts where telling someone they were a mistake is rude, but often times in that context it's jsut "I made a mistake not using a condom and gave birth at a bad time in my life" lol.
If they want to have this type of hyped celebration they ought to at least tell their kids there had better not be tantrums. I don't think these reactions happen just from hyping the gender, I think these parents usually enable this behavior in one way or another.
I'm a female and I was more upset about getting a sister. Pretty excited about my brother though (turns out I was right- me and my brother have been thick as thieves).
It's not on this video but the funniest one where they gave their dog a cupcake and the dog ate the whole cupcake at once, then the dad-to-be is trying to get some of the cake out of the dog's mouth to see what the gender was, nope, it was gone with one big gulp!
This is the first time I see such a thing. You cannot get a better reaction from kid siblings of what the gender is and I say this after having 6 boys & 1 girl. A great tradition!
Yah. That's how it went for me. Out of six kids there was in order: Boy, me (girl), boy, boy, boy, girl. After the third brother I asked for a sister. Another brother (the 4th one) was born and I was so sad and cried me a river. After my sister was born, I loved her so much and claimed her as mine. Lol. I literally became her 2nd mother. Love love love having my sister!!!
My mom is Mexican and so is my father, I don’t think they had gender reveal mostly Bc they were to busy taking care of us and working. But seeing others do gender reveals and being upset makes me sad. Idk who started this tradition but something’s need to change, like the smoke bombs, the fireworks etc
I mean some kids want a sibling thats the same gender so they can relate. Some kids just dont want another sibling cuz it means less attention for them
Yeah, I have two older sisters and when my mom got pregnant I so wanted a little brother. It didn’t happen. 38 years later, it still sucks having three sisters. I feel these kids pain. I really do.
I have three brothers and one sister I wouldn’t change that for the world it baffles me that people can be so angry over not getting a specific gender maybe it’s because I’m adopted and can appreciate what I’ve been giving rather than being upset over something that’s not in my control.
It's a memory video that we'll laugh at each other over time. Life is too serious for people who interpret it badly. I wish there was an event like that in Korea.😄
I'm the eldest of 4 I cried everytime they told me another one was coming! Still crying at almost 39 lol 😆
Are you a boy or girl?
hahaha
Bro I was happy when my mother miscarried 💀
How many people in your family 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Peachy what would it be if the colors green? 🤔 😂
It warms my heart when kids don’t care what the gender is cause they’re just happy to have a sibling ❤️
They won't be happy for much longer...
@Rainy.Mae🌸🤍 BRUH
That is a much better way to express sentiment than how I did, lol!
Thank you💛
Mmmmhhh... Lucky them ! 'Cause they have no say so, what's so ever on that subject. And it doesn't even matter if that would affect their life forever.
@Kamon Paranormal the boy be like: lmao don't mind me just playin mario kart

I don't think it's popular unless you just want a video from it.
@TruthAloneTriumphs THANKS! I like golf!!!! ⛳🏌️
@AGolfHitter hopefully most, nice name BTW
@TruthAloneTriumphs And how many people of those multiple people are you getting through to? LOL
Definitely teaching my kids in a way that would never invoke these reactions.
Also, some of the actual parents' reactions are pretty immature too.
@Maria W. I agree 💯💯💯
Good on you. I was hoping someone in the comments would say this. Thank God. You're the wise one.
I never thought watching kids cry could be this fun.
I found it cruel
fr- 😭😂
Lol
I agree🤣
I remember being so disappointed when I heard I was having a fourth brother and still no sister. I realized later the benefits of being the princess of the family 😎
Lucky you 😊
@Peach Pinky The Montgranne and Fredca Fangirl Yea i saw a cat
Im also the only gil
@DB channel it was moving
@Peach Pinky The Montgranne and Fredca Fangirl What happen to it?
When I found out that I was going to have a brother I was so happy that I would finally have a friend. I didn't care what gender
@Eileen McDonald no don't say that 😂
Now someone with sense
@Peachy same :)
@Peachy same! Honestly,I don’t want to have a sibling! I would be kinda disappointed being a younger one though!
If the parents just came out and said you're going to have a sister/brother when telling them they're pregnant they might not have these gross reactions.
@omp199 Crying in disappointment because of their future siblings gender is not sexism.

No, the reactions will be the same. You are just saying that to feel superior.
Sorry a live doll…spelling 🤔
@Kate G Well that's your opinion and that's mine.
The only reason these kids make a big deal about the gender of their sibling is because their parents make a big deal out of it.
Exactly!
@Axis I think they mean when they hype them up about it so much that they hope so hard for a certain gender.
Exactly.
because I had already one brother, sure I wanted to have sister as well. Today I am happy about my two brothers.
“I want a brother. I don’t want another red head” 😂😂😂😂 that is crazy
😂😂😂😂😂 that was hilarious
That was the funniest one by far xD
They knew about the redheads being souless
I liked how her sister was taking the opportunity to smear food on the table.
This killed me man...
At least one boy wanted a sister. Sisters make your lives better guys. Ask my brother! 😄
I don't know about making Lives better, but big sisters keep their younger brothers in line, at least mine did. And I wouldn't have it any other way. 😂
@Sapphire_blue why?
@Kayleigh Brown That's funny 😂
@James Bishop That is all part of our job as big sisters. We aim to keep you younger brothers honest. 😄
Being black-mailed my entire childhood by my older sister........i have to disagree.
the 4:10 when her brother just said "yay" and went on nintendo killed me 💀💀
Hahaha
Hope the newborns are okay with the gender of their older siblings...🙄
So THAT is why babies cry when they see who carried them!
"Nooooooo! It was a MOM the whole time!? I wanted a daaa-h-h-aaaaaad!"
I always wanted a sister
Idem
Lol
Yea
They probably wouldn't have this extreme reaction if there wasnt a build up of a reveal and acting like theres a choice. If you just said, you are having a brother/sister straight up, they would shrug and be like ok.
Yes!!!!
Exactly!! It's like these parents like watching their kids cry.
Well they gotta make these gender reveals special
Bruv, *they're little*, they don't undetstand that
In a lot of cases, yea very true. But sometimes it's just kids being kids.
The parents build it up into a big contest and then are surprised with the winning and losing reactions. Just let kids meet their new brother or sister after they are born and I'm sure nearly all of them would be happy to meet them regardless.
I agree. This build sexism.
They're not losing anything, they just got another sibling. And it's nothing wrong with it to keep it exciting.
My parents did that waited until my sister was born, my brother was still disappointed.
@Flourishing Weee parents provoke kids to act this way; American style 🙄
now where is the fun in that
The three brothers who were so happy to have a sister 😭
I feel bad laughing at these kids, but I can't stop.
One of them almost choked on their cupcake. 😂
I enjoy watching kids cry and i feel like im evil for that
@Serjo777 Don't stop, else I'd feel lonely XD
I feel great laughing at these kids, but I also can't stop.
“I DONT WANT A BOI” cracked me up 😂
LOL IKR HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING SO HE JUST DECIDED TO COPY HIS SISTER LOL
@Caster MacDiarmid i was wondering the same
That was literally most of the video
i’d be so mad if my husband walked off when we found out the gender.
I can’t believe none of the comments here corrected OP and just dunked on the guy altogether.
@tttttttttttttt couple decades earlier, bullies called others virgins, why change that?
@Mike You're right..It's a good thing to run away and not show theses DISGUSTING feelings...
lol what a silly reason to be mad... No wonder more than 50% of marriages end in divorce.
I'm the youngest so these reactions are especially hilarious to me.
I’m the youngest also 😁
Fl
✨✨✨✨✨🗝✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✅
Same lol
Loll is this how your siblings reacted?
This gender reveal thing is not something we have in my country so I watch all this with amazement 😂
I'm not sure how these things took off and became a thing for the average person to do... but they were originally a family-only celebration for couples who had troubles conceiving.
@Juliana Ioannou Your name looks portuguese like mine, i thought that you were from Brazil
@Camilla Gomes From a country in South Europe
Doesn't have? Where are u from?
I'm an American and this is as foreign to me as it is to you.
I had the same reaction when i knew i was getting a sister, then i asked my parents to make another one.
Good times 😂
“Make another one”
LMAOOO
Did they?
The kids were so built-up for the big announcement it's no wonder the emotional response was so strong.
“But I don’t want another red head” I choked and almost died laughing
@Dreamy Wolf thank you
@Bryson McGinnis 11:29
@Dreamy Wolf yes please
Time stamp ?
I don’t care which gender it is, I just want a sibling 🥺
Ohh sorry you to
@Muc tor depends some get a long while others its world war free
same :)
@ryleigh agreed
@Muc tor siblings are the best and i mean sometimes u fight but they are still amazing to have
I hate how some fathers look disappointed when they realize they’re having a daughter and not a son.
Nobody said that in the video. Stop creating things out of nothing.
Wait, is that on the video?
In my family, we just freak out every time someone gets pregnant because someone close to all of us died shortly after childbirth :(
@grealish lol
@PHGamer sexist has entered the chat.
Never knew watching these would be so much fun, some of these kids reactions are priceless 😂
😂
"I don't want another redhead!" For some strange reason that one killed me. Lol.
1:45 Millie is literally the best thing about this whole video.
😂
I was the oldest girl with 4 brothers. I never cried but I was so disappointed every time they brought another boy home…😮 I love them all now, 70 years later. Two are gone and I miss those boys with all my heart.

My condolences
Siblings are the most precious gift ❤️
Why in the world would anyone ask their kids “what do you want?” As if they have any say in the matter whatsoever? It’s situational overload , and indulging in it when they start whining for attention is just worse.
Yeah I actually completely agree. If they just said you’re getting a sibling they would be grateful. And if they were upset they were getting a sibling that would be even worse 😳
I liked one father's response in the video. "Too late now." That's a dad for you. Just the facts, cry all you want.
@Adiver Terrifying
How to make a narcissistic personality for beginners 101 :-
That is why I never told anyone what I was having until they arrived - they have to be greatful for the sibling they get
Biggest build-up to a gender reveal I ever heard of
Yeah, I totally get that!
How sad it is to see a dad find out he's having a daughter and be sad about it. The potential for an amazing relationship is there.
I bet that in the end, they’re all happy with their new siblings!
When I found out I had a sibling coming, I was thrilled! Any kind; it didn’t matter.
I would be, too!
“I don’t want it be boy! “ like his sticking up for his sister. Wholesome siblings moments
Imagine your sibling rejected you when you're not even born yet
It won't matter in a few years. They will look back at these videos and laugh
Imagine this won't matter
Yeah but its worse when the parents get annoyed
Siblings will be siblings ...
The parents were so extra in their gender reveals.
@The Grim Screamer thank god I've never experienced one.
@Cloudy Skies I could only imagine 💀
That’s not the worst I’ve seen of it.
That's why they made it in the video lol.
That part of 3:47... The pleasure between crying of frustration and sadness while eating a delicious cupcake 😂😂😂😂
I was waiting for the cupcake to go flying at the camera 😅
I know that feeling all to well.
"I don't want a brother" - Dad: "Too late now." haha
"Take is back."🤣😂
Never too late in 2023
Fr tho 😂
That was VERY badass
Man this makes me sad... imagine all those siblings in the womb in a few years when they got to see this they're gonna be all disappointed. 😓
@Mike I believe when you're concern enough about your kids. You would tell if they would be happy or not. And therefore, avoid those cringies videos. 🙄
THE SIBLINGS THAT THEY HATED WILL CRY
I agree.
I would laugh
I've never understood that. It's like when people take it personally when parents point out they were an accident/mistake. I mean, there are some contexts where telling someone they were a mistake is rude, but often times in that context it's jsut "I made a mistake not using a condom and gave birth at a bad time in my life" lol.
I musta have been the only boy that wanted a sister. lol
2:26 “No! What! It’s a boy!?” I LAUGHED SO HARD AHAHHAHA
😂
"I don't want another redhead"
That was hilarious!🤣🤣🤣
@2degucitas Oh nice!
What's wrong with redheads?
That was never an option with hubby and I. Only redheads
😂😂
You'd think at this point that parents would know the answer to "What's wrong"😂
Of course they know, that's why they are giggling about it - they think it's funny.
Ikr loll
16:45
I love this one because the kid doesn't care if the baby is a boy or a girl. He just says "Oh." and starts playing with the balloons.
He got his priorities straight 🎈
I am not cruel, but I laughed so hard when all these kids cried
same here lol. these kids are just super whiny and require too much attention, so there is a good reason to laugh at them
You look like somebody who would laugh at deers being hit by cars
Yeah, you could tell by their reactions their world had just come crashing down around them.
SpiKelpie I feel the same
Thanks for understanding
Lots of Fun 💕😊😊😊🤣🤣🤣
Sad to see soooo many dads disappointed to have a daughter instead of a son 🙄
Usually, it is the daughter(s) to take good cares of the parents.
A good reason for that....
@Sylvie Wang sadly they have to get over that 🤷🏽♀️
Lol
Dad usually want boys more, the reason why is that they don't like the feeling when their loved daughter dating or married to other man .
Honestly it's the parents fault for building up the childrens hopes🤷♂️
Agree
Yep:(
If they want to have this type of hyped celebration they ought to at least tell their kids there had better not be tantrums. I don't think these reactions happen just from hyping the gender, I think these parents usually enable this behavior in one way or another.
True. 😬
"I don't want another redhead!" That's what I said when my mom kept pumping out redheaded siblings. Hah.
Im a ginger >:(
"Pumping out"
Can't get over that phrasing
You need a different dad
Anyone that can hold on to a redhead and treat her/him right, are a winner in life.
Redheads are most unique people. We need alot Redheads
I'm a female and I was more upset about getting a sister. Pretty excited about my brother though (turns out I was right- me and my brother have been thick as thieves).
I’m with you…my older sister was mean , manipulative, and still is the biggest bully..my younger brothers , no problem. And I’m a female🤔
@Just One Time 😂 you are trying to hide what you said by talking about my poor English so you know what you said was wrong
@gigachad Lol… proof that your english is bad, if you think I’ve diverted the convo
@Just One Time Oh nice way to divert the conversation 😂
@gigachad your english is bad… maybe thats why you think the comments say something they don’t actually say.
I would be horrified if any of my kids had acted like these kids. Glad mine were just happy for another sibling.
11:30
"I don't want another red head"
That is next level.😄
Let’s be honest, it’s way more fun to keep it a surprise until the end.
"But I said I wanted a brother.....but I don't want another red head." 🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅
Timestamp pls 😂
Lol kids ...
The mom making her crying daughter say "congratulations" absolutely crushed my heart...i hate parents so much sometimes.
14:25
Time?
To be fair that one was for their cousin, not another sibling.
It's not on this video but the funniest one where they gave their dog a cupcake and the dog ate the whole cupcake at once, then the dad-to-be is trying to get some of the cake out of the dog's mouth to see what the gender was, nope, it was gone with one big gulp!
Time stamp
😂😂
Lol
Lmao
Haha I kinda love that, though.
This is the first time I see such a thing. You cannot get a better reaction from kid siblings of what the gender is and I say this after having 6 boys & 1 girl. A great tradition!
Yah. That's how it went for me.
Out of six kids there was in order:
Boy, me (girl), boy, boy, boy, girl. After the third brother I asked for a sister. Another brother (the 4th one) was born and I was so sad and cried me a river.
After my sister was born, I loved her so much and claimed her as mine. Lol. I literally became her 2nd mother. Love love love having my sister!!!
16:28 I love how this kid doesn’t whine nor he was disappointed, he just tries to find his sister.
Sister wants sister
Brother wants a brother
Me the only son
Be grateful you got sibling
@Savvi Oh yeahhhh😂❤️
Brothers and sisters Don't like each other
7:08 that's a boy wanting a sister
Im grateful i didnt get one. I get all the attention all the time, totally worth it.
Idk man siblings are a crapshoot. You could have great ones or awful one's, enjoy what you got too.
I think there could be a better way of doing this. As the youngest of five it was a miracle I survived childhood.
Same here…#5 here. 😑
Totally agree! Hope your childhood wasn't that bad.
Their reactions are so extreme 😂😂😂
0:52 the look of her brother though xD
Did the parents let him play in the grass?
😂😂
'too late now' lol that dad is such a mood
Ikr! 😂😂
😂
The excitement of this dude is amazing XD 12:38
God bless You 😂
Honestly. I’m so glad my parents just waited with no reveal at all
I hear ya, to each their own!
Okay the best part was Millie throwing her head back adorably laughing and when another toddler boy says....I DONT WANT TO BE A BOY 😂😂
I LAUGHED AND ALMOST CHOCKED WHEN I HEARED THAT 😂
😂
I REALLY feel for that one little boy with THREE sisters… that crying is justified… the rest, are just poorly prepared siblings.
And the little girl with her two little brothers...lol
@ please
No kidding there.
My mom is Mexican and so is my father, I don’t think they had gender reveal mostly Bc they were to busy taking care of us and working. But seeing others do gender reveals and being upset makes me sad. Idk who started this tradition but something’s need to change, like the smoke bombs, the fireworks etc
It's a pretty new tradition in America. Not sure who started it, either.
Kids are so honest with their feelings 😂
@Peachy But do they really have to throw angry fits and be rude?
Right? They don't know to fake it lol.
Can you imagine if the parents reacted like this?
NO. 'Cause they are the ones whom are making the calls.
I don’t get it?!?! Why in the world are these kids so emotionally distraught about this???
Because their parents make a big deal out of it and get the kids hopes up.
Because they are kids and don’t know better
I mean some kids want a sibling thats the same gender so they can relate. Some kids just dont want another sibling cuz it means less attention for them
I remember being disappointed because I wanted a sister to play with and I already didn’t get along with my brother
Their little bodies are too small for their emotions. Poor things lol
I wonder what will be their reactions after seeing their siblings for the first time...😂
I know I wanna see. 😂
I feel sad whenever the parents especially dads, are disappointed of the gender. I get that they still have preferences but still it's sad to see.
@Solip yeah, exactly.
@Peachy why would people have a preference ? Means they re not treating them equally…
@Peachy yeah people have preferences , but shouldn't act immature when it's the time of celebrating happiness (not talking about kids).
I think most people deep down inside have a preference but when the baby comes it's just love.
So you're still sour about that? You need therapy.
I really needed a laugh. this is so cute.
Glad we could help!
3:50 hahaha that got me laughing so HARD!
They're crying so angry that I think they're going to go hit their mother's stomach.😂😅😂
Lmao
🤣😅
That would be bad.😂😬
Same
Children are so honest and sincere with their emotions.
No filters! They are precious 🥰
It's a memory video that we'll laugh at each other over time. Life is too serious for people who interpret it badly.
I wish there was an event like that in Korea.😄
“But I don’t want another read head!” Cheeky sister😂🤣😂🤣
Thanks for including the videos of them being happy to get what they got... What a fun video to watch
This teaches us do not have too strong expectation. Just go with the flow.😂
2:55 when her brother cam and picked her up to comfort her…Soo sweet
@cuddly_kitty nah u did them wrong
What if it's not her brother
💖💖💖
I like that the boy with glasses just minded his life and went on his switch
When I was told I was getting another sibling, I remember thinking "Err...I dont know what that means really, but I'm glad you're excited!"
I would have been DELIGHTED to get a sibling growing up.
Parents should really teach kids to be grateful for what they HAVE not what they WANT. That goes the same for real people too. Like siblings
The evil laugh at 1:57 had me rolling 🤣 head back and everything 🤣
Same ahaha
@BWolf OMG! Lol I didn't even see that.
Me I got worried for the 4:10 clip...looks suspiciously like a switch blade laying on the couch.
🤣😂🤣😂
😂😂
Imagine they revisit these videos after 25/30 yrs 😂😂😂
I dont want another red hair 😂😂😂
I never cared what gender my siblings were.
You're better off telling them than making it a surprise and risk the massive disappointment😭😭
Lets be honest! Each of these reactions are a whole meme on its own
“ But I don’t want another red head”😂😂
All their expression, it's so adorable XD
🥰
The one boy that actually wanted a sister
Lets ask ourselves "why the gender is so traumatic in each of these households?" Is gender overly emphasized?
For sure. And also the whole gender reveal event was probably overblown. For one, all these kids had the camera pointed at them.
There's always that one sibling that's gonna hate their younger sibling
I felt bad for the ones who were already outnumbered
😅
"I don wanna be a boy" such an empathetic boy 😘
❤️
