@IL98there is literally research that states going below 5 reps is best for strength because obviously your nervous system will fail before your muscles themselves because of how heavy the weight is. and doing enough reps in which your cardiovascular system fails before your muscle fails is best for muscular endurance. This is why for bodybuilding 6-12 is the best rep range. It’s something called hypertrophy. Too little reps will stimulate the nervous system but won’t create enough hypertrophy, creating more strength than muscle, too many reps simply means the weight is too light meaning you aren’t creating enough mechanical tension on the muscle to achieve hypertrophy either way. This is why In bodybuilding intensity is still important, as going too light will simply not be intense enough to make you get bigger
@GK King this is bad information. If you don’t have the knowledge to give applicable advice. Don’t. Ideal Rep range is different for everyone. And can be different per body part.
@Francisco Rodriguez btw I personally would separate the hamstring and not superset because hamstrings will make or break how big your legs look so they need to be prioritized in my opinion
@Ofri Lifshitz I hear you and I tend to agree that people idolize celebrity to a crazy extreme but I’d say that the biggest force ever in bodybuilding was Arnold who also wasn’t the biggest, most shredded or won the most olympias. Cbum in my opinion is the closest thing we have had to Arnold in his crossover appeal. Not just his amazing aesthetic but his personality and engagement. He will bring more people to the sport than any other bodybuilder since Arnold
@Rico My point was that he isn't the biggest, he is the current best at his weight class though. You could've been a bit more chill about it but it is what it is
@Ofri Lifshitz u literally dont know about bodybuilding bruuh, different classes, different eras, and still compared cbum to ronnie? u gotta be kidding me dude
Is our boy Calvin okay? That persistent cough 🥺 Also can’t describe the feeling of seeing CBum also listening to Huberman. Like I’m doing at least one thing right in my life 😂
Chris you’re a king! Even as a grown man I aspire to be like you everyday from the crazy work ethic to the sheer will of putting down meals we don’t want to eat. Every time your videos pop up it reminds me why I’m doing this and why I started this project. Though I’ll never be Mr Olympia you still inspired a 250 lbs kid to chase the perfect physique. Now at a lean 175 and only wanna put on lean muscle mass from here. We’re all following you on this journey spiritually and physically even if I am a skinny bitch right now lol
Jesus loves you and is coming back soon! Believe in His death and resurrection and repent of your sins and be saved! Remember that He died and rose up again for you to be in heaven with Him! Have an amazing day ❤
I don’t usually comment but I just wanna say that watching you has motivated me to finally push my body and change for the better and wow does it feel great seeing such a change. Thank you Chris for motivating me and many others❤️
First of all, congrats on the Olympia win! Also, thanks for making these videos, this one in specific for helping me feel better after a downer day, gonna keep pushing now!
Glad to see you back Champ!! Been waiting and checking regularly for a new video on what's been going on since the Olympia. Glad to see your healing up from the bicep injury. More training videos on how you train early on in the year and how is changes through the season leading up to prep time again. What your eating before workouts would be nice to see more!
And this workout literally speaks out my self to push harder even im working now at KSA. Thank you so much cbum for inspiration in this 2023. Great to see you again champ. Bang
Welcome Back Chris! I have to tell you that the first time I seen you I was in absolute amazement. I was working back out after taking a few years off and then I stumbled upon you and things went into overdrive for me. Thank you so much for everything that you do and the content you provide for us. Every youtube video you put helps another person in the world.
Congratulations on your title! An hope you recover from that bicep injury an its sooo good seeing your videos. Great team you have behind you. God bless you 🙏
Ahhh love it !!! Thank you for the motivation , and for the tips sometimes we take our body for granted but at the end of the day we are human and resting isn’t a bad thing
I like how he gives the speech about motivation & drive during a workout. How being on your phone too much can pull you out of it... And here I am watching a CBum video in-between my sets 😅.
I have found a whole new passion for bodybuilding after watching your progress. You are the GOAT - and I’m about to train legs so what better time to listen in!
lets go beast !!! youre the most human being bodybuilder in the history of human kind ! best body best personality its incredible. love you man !! ive been down for too many years after my injury but watching you im back on track brother ! x5 here we go easy take but dont get soft my friend 😁
Welcome back Chris, congrats on your 4th title! Hope you’re feeling better from being sick. Praying the bicep is healing well with the peptides and treatment. hope you’re coming back to the Arnold in march! Keep on killing it & inspiring us everyday to strive for greatness ❤️
Glad to see you back Chris and congrats getting another physique win, wishing you a speedy recovery on your bicep tear. Also nice raptor that's a sweet truck!
Hopefully the essential pre is with stevia. I think I remember you taste testing with it. I love all these raw supplements but I can't imagine how much sucralose I'm taking in. But fully supportive of you and raw. Your humble honesty and consistency is something to live by and you sir are motivation. Congratulations on the 4 peat. My 4 time olympia rings shirt will be here today 💪
Thanks for being an inspiring figure to a lot of us just looking for a push to start our own journey wish you luck on the 2023 run if you are competing.
glad to see you back, I hope you rested well, sorry if it sounds corny or cheesy but I think of you as a brother so all this time I was praying for you, my best wishes for everyone on the team
Watching Chris casually rep out my squat max while talking about how out of shape he is... humbling and motivating in all the right ways lol 😂. Time to go in for a heavy leg day 🦵🤘.
@Posevin hi, the subcutaneous route is all we recommend. Try to inject near the site of injury if you can as there is some evidence of that working even better.
Hi, I just started BPC157 + TB500 for my forearm injury. Could you advice on how to inject them, in the muscle or under the skin. I appreciate your answer in advance!
Thanks for everything you do for all of us! I appreciate your expertise alot! I'm currently doing your push, pull, leg workout from 3 years ago..just started this week (monday)..🤘💪..

Yiur awesome bro I appreciate you being so open it helps me when not feeling good or motivated that sometimes even Mr Olympia doesn’t wnat to be there and doesn’t have the best workout but it’s about trying
Even though I am a woman, I really enjoy watching Chris videos, specially during home workouts. His discipline really inspires me and motivates me to keep pushing. Thank you for making this vids! 🥹✨
Chris I just want to put this into the world and no better place to do it than in the comment section of your first vid back. I will be a raw ambassador by the end of the year. Thank you for everything man you’re the biggest and best inspiration for me.
Your physic is so unbelievable regardless of everything going on and being a month post Olympia, like bro I feel like you could step on stage rn and win Olympia with your current physic 😂
Cool vid, and Chris, thx for bein' the Real u and lettin' us know how things really r n ur life. I totally njoy watchin' u and missed ur vids while u was on break. And yes I know u needed it very much. Welcome back 💪😎
@Chris Bumstead hey Chris, about motivation. It's ok the take time off from hard training after your great victory. That's what Coleman did most of the time. He took even months off from the gym. Enjoy life and slowly get back into training when the time is right. Just watching other people train will bring the training motivation back.
Hey Chris I’ve been sick for a few days from food poisoning and your videos are making my days and you always brighten up my day with your chill videos❤❤
I’m just a random kid from Wisconsin but, I recommend you try red light therapy for your bicep. I also tore mine and I’ve had hip issues and using it has sped of the recovery significantly. Love ur videos
Man, I've been 2months back in the gym after a 5-6year hiatus. My trainer has me doing bosu ball stuff, killer for stabilizer muscles. It's so awkward at first, but I love it now.
"I've got no drive, I'm in lots of pain, I feel super weak..." It is absolutely amazing how relatable CBum is able to present as. A very real dude is very much appreciated in today's world.
Chris, vlog everything and we'll eat it all up. Your day to day k*llin it is inspiring. You showing us your focus helps us stay focused. Keep the vlogs coming.
I think you’re the only currently active body building person I get excited to watch when I see a notification. Or you’re one of the very few REST IN PEACE JOHN MEADOWS
Chris literally thinks and analyses life like I do and were clearly watching the same Andrew Huberman vids.
Go is Andrew huberman?
@Jackson S Greg too never promote an unhealthy artificial diet and also doesn't give anyone body dysmorphia.
@bat flash So what if he's a fan? You jealous or something junior?
Thanks Chris for everything, you have been my motivation for years and allowing me to push my limits even further, I appreciate you ♥️
@RICO PARADISE No, he didn't die
@Midémon Bachdour the universe could not have just come from nothing it is factually impossible. Do not hide from this fact. Repeat and turn to Jesus
Appreciate that man keep killing it!
video is disgusting. how can you watch it?
@Gg god isn’t real
10:20 - 12:20 | Leg extension supersetted with leg curls
12:21 - 15:25 | Leg press (single leg)
15:27 - 18:50 | squat (high bar)
18:52 - 20:40 | Walking Lunges
20:41 - 22:10 | Calves (sitting calves machine)

Honestly it’s super relieving to see that Chris also struggles with gym motivation from time to time.
@Haha Easy, bud. Save some Goggins for the rest of us.

Love your injury recovery protocol. I've seen patients in my clinic get great results from BPC157 and TB500. Great stuff!
hey, are there any side effects?
@Posevin hi, the subcutaneous route is all we recommend. Try to inject near the site of injury if you can as there is some evidence of that working even better.
